in times when information is abundant but true wisdom is scarce there are some who guide us through the chaos and help us see the bigger picture sages leverage their vast knowledge and wisdom to empower and Inspire others they possess the unique ability to simplify the complex they help unravel the mysteries of the world and when most grapple with confusion the sage brings Clarity and understanding and if you ever wondered how to connect to your future clients in a meaningful way then today's video is for you this is another episode of the brand archetype Series in this series I'll help you find your own brand archetype you'll learn what customers of your archetype are looking for and why brand archetypes are so important when it comes to positioning your brand and before we continue I have a short announcement I've been receiving so many questions about the archetype series as promised we'll dig deeper into each archetype on this channel so make sure to subscribe and hit the Bell button to be notified every time I drop new content for you guys and now some background information the first who talked about archetypes in this way was famous psychiatrist Carl Jung who found that there are repeating Universal patterns and symbols that exist in the human unconscious and they can all briefly be defined into 12 types that follow four different goals leave a mark in the world provide structure connect to others and yearn for Paradise and today we'll talk about the sage so the sage is the type of character who helps us navigate the complexities of the world they always lead with a huge passion for sharing wisdom and inspiring growth this is also a person who is so captivating they would also be referred to as a mentor a teacher or the expert you know you encounter the sage when you start asking yourself how does this person know all of this and that's because sages live by one guiding principle the truth will set you free in a corporate environment sages can sometimes be perceived as know-it-alls but when their vast knowledge is applied to complex issues they often leave their colleagues astonished asking themselves how come this person always makes sense of it all and that's because of the way sages analyze and explain the world around them there's something enigmatic to it and so brands that perfectly embody the sage archetype are Google the New York Times Harvard Business review and the BBC these are brands that position themselves as trusted sources of knowledge and information they help the customers make informed decisions and Empower them with valuable insights and so personal brands that perfectly embody the sage archetype are Oprah Winfrey Malcolm Gladwell Maya Angelou and Stephen Hawking these personalities have built their reputation on sharing wisdom providing guidance and inspiring growth they're known for their expertise their insight and their ability to communicate complex ideas at their best sages are humble knowledgeable and insightful at the worst they can seem pedantic and their constant search for truth can make them seem detached from their emotions as you proceed through the Poetry in this book practice this rating method as your ability to evaluate poems in this manner grows so will so will your enjoyment and understanding of poetry excrement that's what I think Mr J Evans Pritchard we're not laying pipe we're talking about poetry how can you describe poetry like American Bandstand but I like Byron I give a 42 but I can't dance to it I want you to rip out that page about the entire page here at me rip it out rip it out come on rip it out thank you Mr Dalton gentlemen tell you what not just tear off that page tear out the entire introduction I want it gone history to leave nothing of it rip it out be gone Jay Evans Pritchard PhD rip shredded hair rip it out I wonder nothing but ripping of Mr prison real perforated put it on a roll not the Bible you're not gonna go to hell for this make a clean tear I want nothing left of it other sages are most known for their vast knowledge and their love of learning their biggest fear is to be deceived and share misinformation as a sagebrand you promote yourself as a beacon of knowledge your customers will seek Clarity and guidance and of course a little bit of Enlightenment and now I'd love to hear from you did you resonate with the sage archetype let me know in the comments below if you want to learn more about brand archetypes I'll link to an ever-growing playlist just right here till then I'll catch you guys next time take care bye
