Databox Custom Integrations Overview

okay so you've connected some of the platforms your company's using through data Box's native Integrations but what happens if you're storing a data on a database or one of the platforms that you're using is not available natively in datab box you'll still be able to track that data alongside your other platforms using our custom Integrations on this sidebar you'll be able to find all the custom integration options that we offer these include spreadsheets custom API Integrations SQL databases thirdparty Integrations like zapier and make and the rest API if you're currently storing your data on a spreadsheet we will be covering that in another video so if that's relevant to you make sure to keep watching since custom Integrations are a little bit more Technical and require some level of setup we do offer custom integration services so if that's something you would want to explore or look into you can request assistance by just pressing this button here okay so let's assume I'm a product manager and I'm tracking user Behavior data on an SQL database to connect my SQL database I can just select the option from the sidebar and from the data source window I'll have two ways that I can connect this database to data box similar to Native Integrations I can choose to connect now or I can ask a teammate to connect for me again because custom Integrations are a bit more technical I'm not going to be diving into the details in this video but I did want to mention that you'll have help articles linked on the data source popup to help you get that set up and connected properly to your account once your setup is done and you've connected your custom integration to your account you'll be able to create metrics and then use those metrics on dashboards set goals create automated notifications and more
