all right so I'm going to get started with session one and you have this in your notes pretty um pretty well so we're going to talk about an introduction to Bloodline Deliverance introduction to Bloodline Deliverance now this is um not the same necessarily as uh you know every kind of style of Deliverance we'll we'll talk about that a little bit more as we go and you'll understand what I mean when I say that um but first of all I want us to have a holistic View of Deliverance which is really important because Deliverance is not the only piece of Freedom Deliverance is not the only thing that we need in our life we want to have a holistic view I think Isaiah 61 gives us a great um a great template to understand um you know a a holistic view of wholeness and there's three different points that it touches on um for sake of time I won't read it but it's in the notes so Isaiah 61 1-4 just talks about three different things that I want to pull out um one of them is freedom from torment the second one is healing of the Brokenhearted the third one is um uh Freedom or or sorry the the the light to those who are in the dark right in the Hebrew and so I know it says captive for those who are in darkness but it actually means light which in the Hebrew is wisdom right so the wisdom of God God's ways God's thoughts doing things God's way and so there's three things that lend to then Isaiah 61:4 which says The Oaks of righteousness that display the glory of God right that's that's a whole picture of a healthy person who is able to display the glory of Jesus with their life right so there's three different components that cause us to step into wholeness both the healing of our heart the relief from torment the freedom from torment of the enemy and learning to live God's way and so there's a lot within the wisdom of God right which we learned through scripture it's the renewing of our mind it's obedience to the word of God it's you know doing things in the ways that God teaches us it's listening to the spirit it's life in community like there's so many ways that we have to listen and obey right in order that we might not just know what not to do but that we know what to do so we have to learn his ways and so um I say that just as a opener because this is primarily about Deliverance but I also want to be clear that if you only care about deliverance and you don't care about inner healing you don't care about living God's way you don't care about life and Community if you don't do any of those other things Deliverance is not like a one like a fix it all Deliverance is a piece of a puzzle that must happen in our process of formation discipleship growth freedom and it's a very important piece but it's not an only piece it's not a standalone and so we've got to understand it's a piece of Life In Christ all right so not all Deliverance is the same um it's it it's not all done the same way it's not all at the same level um today we're focusing on a pretty specific type of Deliverance we're talking about bloodline Deliverance um you know for 14 years I personally was doing Deliverance in you know like for lots of different people lots of different issues I mean I've seen lots of lots of Deliverance but at the end of the day um I would always get stuck when it came to things that were you know bigger than you know like let's rejection control you know I would get these kinds of things all the time perversion a spirit or maybe a couple Jezebels you know in my life like things like that but it was always like if somebody was like oh I've had ritual abuse or you know I'm dealing with this big principality name I'd be like oh that's like beyond my expertise I don't really know how to address that um you know and then you're trying to find somebody online who does like you know real Deliverance like the SRA stuff and all that you know which I would constantly be you know trying to figure out you know who can I contact who can I send people to because I just don't I don't have success or you know you sit for three hours um you know screaming at demons and you know it's like at the end of the day or not screaming because we don't scream they recognize Authority not volume hello but you know what I mean like just wrestling and like at the end of the day once in a while something might leave but you know oftentimes that wasn't the case um somebody's reporting back that my video is freezing a little bit I'm sorry I don't know what to do about that might be my connection at the moment but it is being recorded So hopefully it's not too bad if it gets really bad let me know and I'll go out and come back um all right so I mean and also I also didn't know which this is probably the same for many of you and probably Mike will talk about this a little bit too I would kind of just address what came forward you know like so let's say you're in a service or you're ministering you know you can't you have somebody manifesting I never cared what it was I was like get out in Jesus name you know or you know you have somebody and your in a prayer session because I've done a lot of one-on-one Ministry too you know when you're in a prayer session and you know ask the Holy Spirit what is that oh it's you know this and then you know bind up the spirit of apathy I forgive my father you know this this kind of stuff more in a in a prayer kind of inner healing type of context um but when it came to anything bigger than that I never knew to ask any other questions I kind of just dealt with whatever was there um and honestly I thought as soon as the person fell over or kind of stopped manifesting that that was that you know well you're free and celebrate and so um I've kind of learned um you know that that's maybe not as effective as I thought and that there is a much deeper type of Deliverance that God is wanting to lead us into um and so and that you know we're not the only people who talk about this so I've learned I I didn't really know there was many people who functioned this way um but there are I guess a few people who also function in this kind of way or who have also been receiving tools from God um and so so I am it's freezing every three to four sentences really I am so sad to hear that is that happening like on mass for everyone okay let me I don't know if it's maybe putting a strain um people are saying it's not freezing for them okay well I'm just going to keep going guys and if you need to go back and um watch the recording or something on this one then we'll um we'll do that but all right so there's different kinds of Deliverance even still so we are talking about um bloodline Deliverance today but there are other kinds of Deliverance like just in the glory of God you know how many people have experienced that I've experienced Deliverance myself with no one else involved as probably many of you have um I've experienced deliverance and you know from others which have been just you know just in a prayer appointment paired with inner healing um I've had you know people have high manifestations people have no manifestations um you know I've had you know I've I've helped someone be you know get free from a spirit of Ahab through a word of knowledge and then I've had someone be free from a spirit of Ahab because the spirit said my name is Ahab right so I don't know both times they got free okay so we don't worship methods methods aren't the Bible methods are tools um they're not rules but the more effective our methods are are the more effective we can be um and the more efficient we can be because I remember spending three hours trying to cast jazell out of somebody once where now it usually takes about 10 minutes maybe less so I'm saying there's there's better ways to do things and others um maybe we can make sure all of us are muted just for feedback all right yeah there was an echo because there's still some people who aren't muted if everyone can mute please leave your video on but if everyone can mute are you saying turn your video off because of the connection Jonathan does it affect that okay so okay all right all right cool so methods are tools not rules so we want to understand the same method doesn't work every single time you have to be led by the spirit um you know to understand which method to use when but today we're talking about a very specific kind of Deliverance again which a very specific method works very well for okay so just to be clear about that all right spiritual bloodline issues can sometimes have very little effect on our everyday life um you know how we are personally affected has a lot to do with the levels of personal agreement that we are in um and so we'll talk about that a lot more in depth as we go um but think of it like you know you're sitting at a table in your family's house um whether you like it or not you're sitting at that table because you belong to that family but at the end of the day whether you eat the food on the table that's another thing so if you're engaging in the food if you're eating of what's being served at that table you're at a different level of agreement than if you're just sitting at the table because you belong to the family it's a lot easier to deal with things that we ourselves have not come into personal agreement with I mean it's kind of the same thing as um another example would be if you have a home and you've got your yard around the home and think like let's say Jezebel because we used her before let's say Jezebel is sitting in the front yard of your house and she's waiting for you to open a window she's knocking at the door she's knocking at the window the goal of bloodline Deliverance get Jezebel out of your yard so that she's not even she doesn't even have access to the property um and you don't want any of those things anywhere close to yourself or your children um and we'll we will talk about that a little bit more as well all right there's a difference between a legal right and a demonic assault all right so Mike again will explain that a little bit more in detail when he talks about rights um but the Demonic realm is legal okay the Demonic realm is legal the the devil operates on legal rights and so he when he has a right to you he will exercise his right okay now he's also a trespasser so he's not only a legalist but he's also a a deceiver so he will he will unauthorized he will try to get access unauthorized and he will attempt to remain or infiltrate where he has no right right just to see if he can stay under the radar and you don't notice all right now you're the only one who has authority over yourself and your non-adult children so somebody somebody yelling in your face for a demon to come out if it has a legal right to be there it's going to say no all right now if some you know maybe if there's a long enough rustle for hours and hours and hours and it just gets really tired and there's you know and eventually it leaves it's just going to come back it has a right to be there it lives there okay so you have to remove the right and if it has no right you just cast it out and so demons that are actually assaulting you that are trespassing they have no right and they have to reveal they have no right and they have to leave they're not allowed to stay if they don't have a right to be there all right so the way you deal with those things is different you cast out things immediately that have no right which we'll do we'll be doing that later um and you have to remove the legal right of things that do have permission I want to talk for a few minutes about early church practices because it's important to understand that we're we didn't just become the first Christians lately right we're a part of a long Heritage of belief and a long Heritage of of people who have been doing this and having these experiences right we also we have the New Testament of course but we also have writings across the early church that help us understand how people were actually walking through these things and what it looked like and I think it's important to have a connection to that and an understanding of that um there's a lot of second century writings I just named a few in your notes so you'll see the um katat um which is basically like the catechism right so the the Catholic Church still goes through this but starting in the second century we see writings about it but that doesn't mean that that's the first time that it was taking place but what that is essentially is the period of spiritual formation that new Believers were brought through in the early church and so we know that this at least was happening in the 2 Century but it could have been happening before that um but it was a period of around three years right where people were brought through a very intentional series of renunciation of um you know confession of learning you know Creeds of sitting under teaching uh you know it was a very intensive time of formation that people were intentionally brought through which which in involved quite a lot of Deliverance remember these people OD they were pagans we don't all right so the catat mate but then we've got the apostolic Traditions um right so that was written in 235 ad and within the apostolic Traditions there's tons of you know renunciations that they used there's testimonies of different you know actual inperson deliverances there's prayers there's um there's different ceremonies that they use all of that and you can um I mean you can find that online it's really easy to find Apostolic Traditions you can download it in English um one of the things I want to highlight that I thought was pretty cool uh is from tertian and he wrote uh he wrote a apologetic um called the defense in 197 ad and he was in you know Roman world and so uh this is this is phenomenal um so he writes in his book right um he writes a commentary essentially against two accusations against the Christians essentially in Rome and this was basically the reason Romans or the reason Christians were persecuted in the Roman Empire it wasn't because they worshiped Yahweh it was because they refused to worship the Roman gods in addition because they didn't care who you worshiped as long as you also worshiped the Roman deities because if you worship the Roman deities it keeps Rome in good standing and so if you live in the Roman Empire and you're not being Roman in that way you actually are putting Empire at risk which means that you are potentially a threat to the Empire that that that's why Christians were viewed as such a threat because they refused to participate in the Empire's form of worship and in by doing that they actually according to hey guys so can we all go on mute thank you so much so in by not worshiping the Roman gods and not participating in the Roman Imperial cult they were actually putting Rome at risk of losing its influence losing its power and the only thing Rome cared about was maintaining power all right so in in his uh book called the defense he was coming against two Tes or two accusations that were directed at Christians number one you don't worship the gods and number two you don't sacrifice to the Emperors and so this was his answer to those accusations he said we do not worship your Gods because we know that there are no such beings now what does he mean by that he's not saying saying your gods don't exist so when he says your gods don't exist he's not saying your Gods aren't real what he's saying is the powers do exist but they are not Gods like Yahweh all right they're demons is what he says so he says and we affirm indeed the existence of certain spiritual Essences nor their name unfamiliar the philosophers acknowledge there are demons all right in this way they lead people away from the true God and then this is a quote in chapter 23 where he says but thus far we've been dealing only in words we now proceed to a proof of facts in which we shall show that under different names God and Demon you have real identity let a person be brought before your tribunals who is plainly under demonical possession the wicked Spirit bidden to speak by a follower of Christ will as readily make the truthful confession that he is a demon as elsewhere he has falsely asserted that he is a God or if you will let there be produced one of the godp possessed as they are supposed if they would not confess in their fear of lying to a Christian that they were demons then there should then and there shed the blood of the most imput follower of Christ impudent the truth is that neither themselves nor any others have claims to deity you may see at once who is really God and whether that is he and he alone whom we Christians own as also whether you are to believe in him and worship him after the man of our Christian faith and discipline but at once they the demons will say who is this Christ is he not rather up in the heavens then about to come again all the authority and power we have over them is from our naming the name of Christ and recalling to their memory the woes them being the demons the woes with which God threatens them at the hands of Christ as judge and which they expect one day to overtake them fearing God in or Christ in God and God in Christ Christ they become subject to the Servants of God and Christ so at our touch and breathing overwhelmed by the thought and realization of those judgment fires they leave at our Command the bodies they have entered it has not been an unusual thing accordingly for these testimonies of your deities to convert men to Christianity I think that is such a powerful quote so that was written in 197 by tertian and so the early Believers understood that they were pagans and worshiped other gods right we don't understand idolatry the same way in our day because we understand Christianity through a cultural context right they weren't impressed nobody in the Roman Empire nobody in the early church was impressed that Jesus had Supernatural power right that the followers of Jesus be healed in Jesus name that actually wasn't impressive as as impressive as we think today what they were impressed about was that Jesus had Supremacy that Jesus had authority over every other God and he still does today the gods the Elohim the little G gods of the Nations have power but no authority over Christ they were stripped of all authority at the cross right it's like the ability to drive versus the right to drive so you can understand how to drive because I can put you in a car and show you how a car works and then you could technically drive a car because you have the power to do so right you have the ability the right to drive comes when you get a license that's your authority to drive right so when Jesus rose from the dead he took the authority away from the enemy to rule he took his license away however he still tries to rule and he rules through the rights that he has in people all right so this this is why we understand that the enemy has been defeated yet we still see him at work everywhere why because the final judgment has not come yet but the Judgment has already been pronounced it has been finished that's why when Jesus says on the cross to tell us diey it was finished it is finished and it's being finished and so at the end of the age he will come into the fullness of judgment right so I want to talk for a few minutes can Christians have demons yes they do all the time most of the do Deliverance is for the church it is not for the world whoever said that got that idea I don't know where from Deliverance is for the church freedom is for the church the blood is for the church first John 38 says the Son of God appeared for this reason to destroy the works of Satan okay bad theology keeps us really stuck we all see the Bible through lenses right so we can truly make it say whatever we want if we want to we can justify slavery polygamy adultery animal sacrifice if we take scripture out of context you can you can say whatever you want if you pull out a couple scriptures but you know a principle of hermeneutics which if you've done any biblical studies you would know hermeneutic is the study of scripture the interpretation of scripture all right so biblical translation um people we we have to understand that the more isolated a scripture is as it's taken out of the hole the more likely you are to be in error okay so the more it is taken out of the hole so the more you narrow it down and pick your favorite scripture and quoted on everything right like I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and you're doing push-ups it's like that's not what that means okay so when you take something out of context when you take it out of the hole the less it is from the hole right the one scripture the more likely it is to be incorrect in its understanding so the Bible is a mega narrative it is one thing the more we try to isolate and and you know use one scripture to define a whole thing we have to be really really really careful all right Western Culture by nature is very uncomfortable and unfamiliar with spiritual realities and so a lot of our understanding and interpretation a lot of our lens of scripture is based on our own ideas and our own worldview and our own culture that has purposefully like rejected a supernatural worldview which we'll talk about in a minute so there's a couple primary issues I think that trip up Christians about Deliverance the first one is finished work of the Cross right so this kind of teaching that basically says okay at the cross everything was done that means I can't have a demon I no longer sin I no longer have anything and it's like yes yes it's a yes and it's also a not quite yes so it's a yes it's all been done now I have to take it and I have to appropriate it I have to put it in my account so I have access to everything that I need but it may not technically be in my account and I have access to it though so I need to go get it put it in my account so that I can appropriate it to my life everything was paid for In The Blood but everything is not finished in you otherwise you would be perfect so anyone who tries to you know use that sort of theology I've had someone gritting through their teeth through a manifest telling me that their Deliverance was in the cross and that they couldn't possibly have a demon and I'm just like all right we'll keep it then I don't know you know like our theology can trap us but God really wants us to understand everything is available but not everything has been accessed by us and we have to take it but it's there all right so number two a wrong Paradigm of the spiritual realm a wrong Paradigm of the spiritual realm the age of Enlightenment did a number on the church in the west didn't affect the east in the same way to the same extent but man the the the Age of Enlightenment I have a couple notes on that in a minute but that really did a number on how we see the world and on how we process understanding how we process Revelation how we understand the spiritual realm and how it connects to the Natural realm see the the the original Church it had a supernatural worldview that understood that the spiritual realm is real and it does not need to come through our brain to be real the Age of Enlightenment said everything must be able to be understood by the mind in order to be real and so it made it process through reason and through our own mind instead of being able to be attained by the spirit and it totally put the church into a different worldview and so number three the misunderstanding of individualism we belong to families we are not individuals like we think in the west you cannot disconnect yourself from Humanity from your family from society you belong to a people even scripture it's to us it's to us right so when we're oh you know I think it means to me yeah like to you is one part but it's like the third level down right it was written to them it was written to to us and then it was written to you in Revelation right but there is there is an understanding we have to get in the west the East really does understand this but we belong to a group of family now when our family has engaged in idolatry that claim on our family must be broken and withdrawn F false worship has to be addressed in the family line and so you know I've heard people say well how can I need Deliverance from Bale I've never worshiped baale how can this affect my life if somebody in your family worshiped Baal and that Covenant has never been broken that curse has never been broken that's never been renounced then that thing still has a hold on your bloodline and so again the level to which that's affecting your life you may be surprised sometimes at how it's affecting our lives sometimes we don't even realize but other times you know you've made good choices you have you know a you you've grown up in the church so you never really went beyond certain boundaries you made wise choices in this area that area so the the LI it's been limited you know the full expression but someone else who grows up and they kind of just you know they're abused they're abandoned they have really crazy you know inner healing issues okay well then that thing got full rain you know so they're a drug addict they're this they're addicted to that they're in you know and so it's the same Spirit but in this person it had way more access to wreak havoc and destruction than in this person but it doesn't mean that it's not riding along in that blood line getting everybody that it can to the maximum degree that it can hope that makes sense okay number four theological issues with possession versus oppression this is another one that a lot of people bring up a lot but honestly it just doesn't it doesn't matter it doesn't matter the Bible says don't get involved in meaningless debates if there's a demon around you get rid of it if it's in you get rid of it if it's touching your foot get rid of it get rid of it who cares all right like in Acts 10:38 it says you know of Jesus of Nazareth how God anointed him with the Holy Spirit and with power and how he went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil for God was with him the word oppressed is um katad dinaso which means to be harshly controlled dominated so I don't know anybody that wants to be harshly controlled and dominated by demonic power I don't all right so if you are being harshly controlled or dominated get rid of it all right um we'll talk about now the biblical worldview regarding the spiritual realm all right so the Age of Enlightenment in the late 1700s um I'll just touch on this I won't go into it too deeply but the worldview of the church returning to a Warfare understanding right there is good there is evil there is light there is dark there is Angels there are demons there's you know there's two different kingdoms the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness and they are at War and Jesus is Victorious at the end of the age he will judge living and the dead the demons and you know Satan and his angels are cast in Lake a fire like this was a this is an understanding of the world in a supernatural context of which we are a part of a greater narrative that has a supernatural component right but the Age of Enlightenment brought a intellectual worldview which your mind isn't evil your mind isn't bad obviously I love learning like I I you know studied theology there's nothing wrong with the knowledge of God there's nothing wrong with with learning and growing and loving to learn there's nothing wrong with that but it's when reason elevates itself above the knowledge of God that we have a problem right the logismos is what the Bible calls that the logismos that's what we cast down and bring subject to the knowledge of God the reason is what that means and so it was an elevation of Reason above the knowledge of God and so anytime we have a mentality and a lot of times you'll see the spirit of religion in people Elevate reason above the knowledge of God it's because they entered the kingdom through their brain there's no experience with the Living Word who is a person and is alive all right so we have to return back to a Biblical world view of the supernatural realm but after the late 1700s so as the church continued to evolve in the west then you have you know people who would have a spiritual worldview or maintain a spiritual worldview were more people without means you know more lower class they were seen as primitive ignorant this kind of view because knowledge became elevated all right so how do we determine if something is biblical I think this is a really important question because I hear a lot of times just by Nature Facebook all the places people oh that isn't biblical I'm like well is it not biblical or do you just not like it is it not biblical or it just makes you feel uncomfortable because you being uncomfortable is not really like a qualification for something being unbiblical okay so for something to be unbiblical it must be anti-biblical now what what does that mean there's two different classifications something can be so let's say something's not really in the Bible or it's not in the Bible too much it's going to be one of two things it's going to be anti-biblical which means that that thing contradicts scripture directly so for example someone says Hey God told me that I need to divorce my spouse and get married to someone else absolutely not it's anti-biblical period it goes against scripture it goes against the knowledge of God the nature of God forget it now extra biblical means something is not directly addressed in scripture but does not conflict with scripture not the same that's not the same all right there are extra biblical things that we don't hold at the same level such as methods right we don't methods aren't Jesus but the spirit can teach us ways right but the knowledge of God the Revelation life of the living word is here so the Bible tells us hey this is the god you're dealing with make sure you know him right so we keep it in the parameters make sure nothing that we're ever doing learning saying is outside of his parameters that have been set in scripture the word and the Spirit hold on to one another and they never contradict each other and so as long as we have one hand on the spirit one hand on the word we're not going to go out of balance the fear of deception is at its root fear why wouldn't I be afraid of being deceived because I know Jesus I don't I didn't read a book and memorize it though I probably do know a lot of the Bible by heart but I didn't read it and memorize it and so I have to remember okay what does it say D D D D D if something says it the oh I'm afraid that somebody's going to confuse me I'm not afraid that somebody's going to confuse me I have the Living Word living inside of me if somebody tried to deceive me I'm pretty sure the Holy Spirit give me a warning I'm pretty sure that God would be like hey that's not really right I'd have discernment something would go hey that's not really good and so we have to get rid of the fear of Deception come in into the keeping power of God come into the fact that God Is Bigger Than The enemy's ability to deceive you all right so look for things that are anti-biblical they directly contradict the nature of God the written word of God the testimony of Christ that's the things that you're like no no way all right so we all see the Bible through our lens that's important all right I'm going to talk for a few minutes the idolatry of the Nations all right so this is where we're going to get into some theology that might be a little bit different um for some of you guys and that's okay again it's the Bible I'm going to talk about the Bible right so this isn't um this might not be new for some but it may really be new for others and you may have to like like process and that's okay but the idolatry of the Nations so in the Bible there is an established cycle of God working within Humanity we've got creation fall Redemption restoration and then with and then restoration they would fall again so then there' be Recreation you know but this cycle repeats right over and over and over from the beginning from Eden to the return of Jesus and then we have the final restoration but God's intention has always been to live in Covenant relationship with a people who will be set apart so Genesis 11 we've just entered the mosa uh Mo Mosaic no the noic Covenant um in Genesis 11 so this is this is immediately after the flood where we well not immediately but you know some years after the flood where all the people they're still one group they're still speaking the same language um they find a plane and they settle there Babylonia all right which eventually becomes Babylon they decide to build a tower to the heavens we all know this story the Tower of Babel so keep in mind yep the no Covenant has just started with Noah We've Just Begun god's second attempt to establish a covenant people all right so when you study the covenants this is the second Covenant the no Covenant all right so everyone is basically building this Tower they rise up in Pride and what was the judge judement of God on them you're going to speak different languages I'm going to separate you and send you out in different directions you're going to go out to the to the Nations all right so um all beings are subject to Yahweh but because of the people's pride and their rejection of Yahweh the rejection of like humility the rejection of Covenant he basically gave them over to the enslavement of their Idols all right this is also called the dispossession of the Nations this is a whole theological topic but the dispossessions of the ations um Michael Heiser has a lot of work on this you can read entire books about it which won't have any kind of Justice in this teaching just because it's like I can't I you know don't have enough time um and I don't even know enough honestly to teach it at Super depth like he can um and I would suggest he has a book called um unseen realm that's really good there's a shortened version of it called Supernatural that also um teaches this but in a just a shortened way um so all of us have a bloodline of false worship or idolatry that must be broken now maybe it's already broken in you so you know many like maybe you're from Europe you know like most people let's say from Germany from that kind of area you're gonna have some sort of Druid you know worship from Celtic areas you're GNA have some sort of Druid Worship in your line that means human sacrifice that means you know Lucifer probably that that means all kind of stuff like this right but does it mean that that's affecting you today well no maybe you're not the first believer in your family maybe you know there's all kinds of reasons why things have been cut off already but sometimes there are things that have not been cut off and you need to understand what they are and you need to remove the rights all right so all of us have idolatry false Worship in our Bloodlines in Exodus 25 and6 it says You must not bow down to them or worship them he's talking about the idols and the gods of the other nations for I the Lord your God am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affections for any other gods I lay the sin of the parents upon their children the entire family is affected even children to the third and fourth generations of those who reject me but I lavish unfailing love for a thousand Generations on those who love me and obey my commands so Old Testament yeah I know Old Testament but at the end of the day we have to understand we belong to a family now before the cross before atonement there was no no release from the curse of your bloodline here's the difference right the warning to stay out of idolatry was very real or you would come under the curse of the gods that you worship Exile sickness bondage all of these things would be on you because of your choice to worship other gods and the rejection of Yahweh as God but because of the blood of Christ you can be released from any curse that has been given access to you through choices of your family that's the power of the blood that's the power of the cross that immediately when you apply the blood to your bloodline you exit your bloodline right you cut it off and you enter the bloodline of Christ and you say no that Covenant is broken and because of the blood of Christ you can break it because your actual bloodline it will not be broken there's an assignment and there's a covenant on your family all right so we must apply what is available and what we have been freely given all right I'm going to talk for a few minutes about the Elohim and the Divine Council in Psalm 82 I'm going to actually read it this is going to help us understand it's going to give us a greater framework for understanding the gods of the Nations this matters when we continue to talk about this and I know for some of you you're like Gods what are you talking about there's no other God but God yeah yeah I know but yeah you'll yeah let's read it all right Psalm 82 God presides in the great assembly he renders judgment among the gods little G in parenthesis says how long will you defend the unjust and show partiality to the wicked defend the weak and the fatherless uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed rescue the weak and the needy deliver them from the hand of the wicked the gods know nothing they understand nothing they walk about in darkness all the foundations of the Earth are shaken I said you are Gods but you are all sons of the most high but you will die like mere mortals in other other words you're not Mortals but you're going to die like mere mortals and you will fall like every other ruler rise up oh God judge the Earth for all the nations are your inheritance right and there's there's a lot in that that can't fully be unpacked right now but Yahweh Yahweh God right why do you think that God had to reveal his personal name if there is only one God if there's only one Divine being why did God have to reveal I'm Yahweh the personal God I'm the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob I'm the god of the nation of Israel right he says I'm The God Who presides over the great assembly I'm The God Who and and in hebraic understanding the the Divine assembly the Heavenly assembly is a is was an understood concept all right so Yahweh presides over the great assembly there is no other God like him there is no other God like Yahweh right we we I'll move on and you'll kind of begin to to understand this but the Elohim right the Divine counsil there's also a great video from Bible project honestly it's like five minutes and it's like like blows your mind on the Spiritual Beings is what it's called so just write a note on that if you're like what are you talking about go watch that video on Bible project called Spiritual Beings it's a series and it's about a six- minute video about the Divine counsel it will really unpack this and help you understand it better and also like like you're not the only one who's ever talked about that all right so um in Luke 18 or Luke uh 10:18 Jesus says I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven and then it talks about in Isaiah 14 Revelation 12 um you know Satan falling and Lucifer the the one-third of heavenly host the stars that fell with him um but here's something really interesting well but yeah here's something really interesting that I that I want to touch on um well let me talk about this ver so the onethird that fell with him right so one-third of the Angelic host the Angelic beings fell with him all right now when you go back to Genesis 11 and you understood the nations were sent out to their boundaries right they were given over to their idolatry but then later what does God do he raises up a people for himself he calls them back out of idolatry right he calls Abraham out of er right the place of idolatry says leave your family leave your nation and go to a place I'll show you I'll be your God so he begins to establish a people for himself out of the nations of idolatry why what's the ultimate plan so that all of the Nations stuck in their idolatry under the false rulers will see the nation that's under the true God that they rejected become jealous for that God and be in gathered again in Christ okay so it's the repossession of the nations in Christ but all of the people who were given over to their idolatry they served those gods and they harsh Masters and so in John 10 this is really interesting John 10 24-38 John 10 Jesus is basically talking to the Pharisees after he heals the man who's blind on the Sabbath and he's kind of going through some different stuff but we're going to skip over to 10 and in verse 24 the Jews around him were gathered around him saying how long will you keep us in suspense if you're the Messiah tell us plainly Jesus answered I did tell you but you did not believe the works I do in my father's name testify about me and then he goes on you know you're not my sheep if you were you'd hear my voice I and the father are one in verse 30 and then in verse 31 it says again the Jewish opponents picked up stones to Stone him but Jesus said to them I have shown you many good works from the father for which of these do you Stone me is that we are not stoning you for any of your works for any good works but for blasphemy because you a mere man are claiming to be God now listen to this though says Jesus answered them is it not written in your law I have said you are Gods he quotes Psalm 82 the Divine counsel of Elohim so it says is it not written in your law I have said you are Gods if he called them Gods to whom the word of God came word of God so this is another piece that we have to understand so in hebraic understanding the word word of God was always present as a as a identity as a person of God so there's a trinitarian understanding all throughout the old Covenant that we can't that we lose when we think so New Testament and you know we're shallow Believers in the West too we haven't like understood a lot of these things but in the Old Testament Jesus was everywhere the word of God was one of his one of the ways he's he's everywhere look at at Samuel when Samuel is in the temple with Eli and he hears the voice Samuel Samuel calling out and then he goes did you call me Eli say I didn't call you go back to bed goes back Samuel Samuel then it says the word of God came and stood in front of him the word of God came and stood in front of him and it talks about then there were few Visions in Israel it wasn't it wasn't like Samuel I'm telling you something as God no the word of God came men stood physically as a person in front of him okay we've got to have these understandings when we see this right Jesus said to whom the word of God came the gods right and the scripture cannot be set aside so what about the one whom the father set apart as his very own so set apart as his very own and sent him into the world why do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said I am God's son and then he goes on and so I unpack that for a while as you can guess but I won't because of time I'm sorry if I'm like like scrambling some of you guys are like what are you talking about all right so why would why would he use that as a rebuttal when they say you're claiming to be God and he says why are you why are you confused about this because you know in your own belief the Assembly of the Gods you know in your own belief system that there is a Divine Council this is like what he's saying he's like this isn't like different than what you already know so why did he rebuke why would he rebuke them if he was just talking about angels he wasn't claiming to be an angel he was claiming to be God and so he's saying there are other beings right there are other beings all right and the word of God being the one revealed which he is the word of God right that is Jesus the word became flesh and dwelt Among Us but Jesus didn't just become flesh in the new when he became a baby he was already a person okay it doesn't trinitarian trinitarian doctrine of the Old Testament another time um all right Ephesians 1 and two let's talk about Heavenly rulers let's turn to Ephesians 1 and two so you know many of us if you're in this call you've probably read Ephesians and you love Ephesians because it has all of the Supernatural worldview theology that we know and love as well as a fivefold so probably if you know if you're following any of my stuff then the Ephesians it's like what Ephesians um now Ephesians was written it's a circulatory letter went around to lots of churches it was not just written to Ephesus but originally when it's written to Ephesus it's written because Ephesus was a very wicked Supernatural place it was known for the Witchcraft and just the supernatural activity it was like the place where you would go to travel to get somebody cursed I mean if Ephesus had a lot of Supernatural activity right so the Believers are living there in a lot of you know fear right so that's what Ephesians is all about hey you are you are with Christ you have Supremacy over Darkness you do not need to fear the witches and the curses and the you know all the supernatural things going on and he's basically giving them a supernatural worldview helping them understand their Authority and Christ because Ephesus was a crazy place and so throughout Ephesus uh Ephesians 1 and 2 and three there's quite a bit that that I won't go into too much but I do want to talk about um briefly Ephesians 1 where it says all right I'll I'll touch on verse 20 so um he seated him Christ at the right hand in the Heavenly Realms far above all Rule and Authority power and dominion and every name that is invoked not only in the present age but also in the one to come and God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church which is his body the fullness of him who fills everything in every way as for you you were dead in your transgressions and sins in which you used to live you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and the ruler of the kingdom of the air the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient all of us also lived among them at one time gratifying the Cravings of our flesh following its desires and thoughts like the rest we were deserving were by Nature deserving of Wrath but because of his great love for us Christ who rich in Mercy madeth alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions It Is by Grace you've been saved and God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the Heavenly Realms in Christ Jesus in Christ Jesus not with in Christ Jesus in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable Riches of his grace expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus so there's a lot in that um it goes on to in chapter 3 uh verse 10 his intent was now that through the eklesia the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the Heavenly Realms according to his eternal purpose and so there's a couple things here in in 121 when he's talking about the rulers and authorities in this age and in the age to come right speaking of the the the age to come is the the culmination of all things it's the it's the it's the reign of Christ right it's not talking about this age so he's not talking about rulers that are on the earth and he even clarifies in chapter 3 in verse 10 where he says the rulers and authorities in the Heavenly Realms so just to be be clear I'm not talking about the rulers and authorities on the earth I'm talking about the rulers and authorities in the Heavenly realm that you guys are afraid of that you are you know all these people are living under that you used to serve right that what he says that you used to follow so he's her he's very intentionally addressing the rulers in Heavenly Realms not on the earth and that he has given Jesus his right hand the seat of authority and judgment in the Heavenly Realms which is which the word means existing in heaven the inhabitants of Heaven the Heavenly beings the bodies of stars the living beings like this is it's a it's a word that has a deeper depth than just Heaven you know like we think of it but it's the place in which the inhabitants live that are in the Realms of Heaven the manifold wisdom of God the multicolored multifaceted diverse intelligence of God being forced to be known this is what this means so when it says in 3:10 that the manifold wisdom of God would be would be made known by the eklesia what does that mean to be made known means forced experiential knowledge this is gnos this isn't talking about head knowledge this is saying that through the eklesia the rulers and authorities in Heavenly Realms will be forced to know through experience the manifold wisdom of God and so the manifold wisdom of God why does that matter because the rulers Ro raised up in Pride right the the heavenly host that went down with Lucifer raised up in Pride right I will be like God and according to their own wisdom they were cast out of heaven for pride and so now the manifold the wisdom of God is being revealed and it is being forced onto those who have been proud that now they will be made humble by the eklesia that the body of Christ possesses the authority to enforce the wisdom of God on the rulers and authorities in the Heavenly Realms all right it gives four different things and then I will well no I won't actually have one more thing all right because we started 15 minutes late so we'll just move it all right so it talks about principalities authorities powers and Dominion all right a principality or a ruler it means the first place the first in rule those holding Dominion entrusted to them all right so principality is something that is the first place ruler the one with the first in Authority in a specific Dominion a jurisdiction is what is inferred there there's a lot of scriptural um backing for this which I don't I can't remember if I put it didn't put it in the notes or not if not I can put it somewhere else in Jude uh6 it also refers to you know the angel Celestial beings right who did not keep their positions of authority and abandon their dwellings who are appointed to judgment by God right those first in domains principalities the first rulers right so these are the ones with the claim to the land the claim to boundaries the claim to a place all right authorities talk about the delegated power so this is an example the same authorities are the delegated power to rule or govern in a specific jurisdiction again everything has to do with places a specific jurisdiction under the leadership of others used in classes of Angels and Demons right the leading and more powerful created beings Superior to man but in hierarchy all right and then we see the powers the hosts of Heaven is what that means the host of Heaven forces or strength consistent with Heavenly hosts armies of Heaven all right and then Dominion so those with Divine lordship governing domination uh again within a Celestial hierarchy um all right so let me see what else I've got here all right good I'm almost done I got one more Point M can I'll pass it over all right I'm going to talk for a few minutes about high places high places of idolatry so what is a high place in scripture so the high place was a mountain right an altar of worship to the gods of the Nations Every Nation had their high place as all as you read through the Old Testament as you understand you know the nations with their gods they would set up the mount you know Mount Zion even even throughout um you know all ancient cultures they would always have a mountain where the gods lived right Mount Olympus is where Zeus lived you know the the high place was where you would go to set up the altar to the gods and so the high place was the mount the altar of worship we have to deal with the high places of idolatry in our own lives or we'll be robbed of Victory you will be robbed of Victory and so sometimes we don't even know that there's a high place that's been erected in our life and until we understand what it is and how to tear it down we will be robbed of Victory I'm going to give you an example from scripture and then and then I'll end in this so the example of the moabites so in Genesis 19:30 through 36 you have lot and his daughters right his wife turns into salt because she turns back at Sodom as it's being destroyed but lot and his daughters go to this hill right this mountain they escape into a cave his daughters have This brilliant idea to carry on the family line by uh you know sleeping with their father so they both end up getting pregnant they have two different Bloodlines that end up coming out from lot one one is the ammonites one is the moabites all right so the ammonites and the moabites become two strong people groups in that region and over time you know you start to see okay chimos becomes the god of the moabites MC is the god of the ammonites and so MC and chimos are essentially the same God it's the same you sacrifice your firstborn child to the fire um you know all the practices are basically the same and most Scholars would say it's the same God they just both both peoples had a different name for this God and so chimos and MC were basically the same so when we think of MC today abortion child sacrifice this is the same principality right they they have the same uh they're the same they just function differently in different cultures all right so David's son Solomon becomes king the second king of Israel um and what did God say to the Israelites he reminds us in First Kings 11:2 when he says I told you do not worship the gods of The Other Nation or they will be a snare to you they will bring idolatry into your life which you do not want or need right so Solomon he introduces the worship of chimos into Israel because he intermares with like 700 wives so Solomon introduces idolatry into worship and it says in First Kings 11 he sets up a high place for Chamas in Israel so then you know and hundreds of years later you still have this being talked about Jeremiah talks about it King Josiah finally tears down the high places like probably 300 years after this account but it he Solomon truly introduced the snares of idolatry across Israel in First Kings um or sorry second Kings chapter 3 you see that a and his son becomes king right now his son's name was jam and so jam becomes king of Israel so at this time the kingdom has separated you've got Judah because of Solomon you know it's a whole another story but because of Solomon the kingdom ends up separating now you've got two kingdoms you've got Judah and you've got Israel so Ahab was the king in Israel okay so his son joam becomes king of Israel in chapter three so it says jodam son of Ahab became king of Israel in Samaria in the 18th year all right now Moab remember Moab is the is The Descendant from lot's one of Lot's daughters God is chimos same with Molech remember that all right now he becomes king or sorry and then Moab decides to Rebel because anytime you had a because Moab was in submission to Israel at that time all right they were a subjected nation and so oftentimes when you had a change of the Guard a new king come into place the subjected nations would kind of like Rebel and try to you know just we're we're going to rebel and see if they can get away with it right so um Moab re Moab Rebels and so joam king of Israel goes and gets other kings one from Edom one from Judah and he's like hey let's go up against them and fight and so they go up against them and they begin to fight they realize hey we don't even know what God said about this and so they end up going to get Elisha now this is Elisha's first kind of summoning as a prophet if you will after you know after Elijah dies and so Elisha comes he's pretty mad about it which is another story um but which I won't talk about right now which is funny but he comes and he basically says to them why do you want to involve me go to the prophets of your father and the prophets of your mother which by the way with Ahab and Jezebel which pretty sure they don't have any prophets but um the Kings of Israel basically like tell us the word of the Lord so he does okay make a long story short so Elijah says this is what the Lord says in verse 16 I will fill this Valley with pools of water for this is what the Lord says you will neither see wind or rain yet this Valley will be filled with water and you your cattle and other animals will drink this is an easy thing in the hands of the Lord he will also deliver Moab into your hands you will overthrow every fortified City and every major town you will cut down every tree stop up the springs and ruin every good field with stones the next morning morning and began to come to pass and so he said he will deliver Moab into your hands was the word of the Lord that Israel will have Victory and Moab will be delivered into Israel's hands that was God's Will and God's intention so how many of us understand that prophecy does not always come to pass the same way as it is told because it is potential it's not always this is going to happen it's this is God's will prophecy reveals God's will okay but here look what happens so they it's happening exactly as Elijah says but then I want to go down to verse 26 says when the king of Moab saw that the battle had gone against him he took with him 700 Swordsmen to break through the king of Edom and failed then pay attention to verse 27 then he took his firstborn son who was to succeed him as king and he offered him as a sacrifice on the city wall the fury against Israel was so great that they withdrew and returned to their own land so what was God's will concerning this battle that Israel would have Moab delivered into their hand what happened the fury against Israel became so great that they had to withdraw and return to their own land let us not forget that Solomon built a high place for Chamas in Israel and so Moab whose God is chimos he sacrifices the king of Moab sacrifices his son in an appeal to chimos to help them in the battle but because Israel also was in agreement with chimos they immediately came under the fury of the god in which they also were in Covenant to and they lost although it was not God's will for them to lose the battle because had worshippers in Israel too and so we don't have victory over gods that we still worship we must break off our agreement in order to have the victory that God has for us all right
