your right foot forward if you're right-handed like me you'll stand with your left foot forward here now I want you to visualize you got a line on the ground you've got one foot on one side one foot on the other side and your knees is nice and loose like you're on a surfboard skateboard now from there you're going to bring your hands up by your face elbows tucked in chin down and this here is your boxing stance now we're going to move on a movement moving forwards and backwards when you move forwards move with your front foot first like this when you move back your back foot first like this so forwards back forwards back when you move left left foot first when you move right rifle first so left right good now that's the boxing stand the movement now we're going to move on to our first punch which is your jab on number one it's you're going to be your Straight Lead hand for me it's my left hand the we through comes all the way out all the way back turning your hip like this I want you to Exhale at the end now your next punch is your cross or number two it's my right hand cuz I'm right-handed comes from the face comes all the way out all the way back turning that hip exhaling fully extend now I'm going to put them together with a one two left right it look like this so through that one when turn until we back me face the two's coming out turning the hip that's the one two now we're going to move on to the most awward punch to learn in boxing which is the hook with your lead hand and how we Throw That we always throw it off the one two so we're going to throw one two as the to's come back the fist your lead hand going to come out round on a 90° angle with your come up top be a one two hook exhale with each punch good now we going to add on that we're going to do a one two hook two one two hook two make sure you're turning your hips one two two yeah now we're going to move on with a defensive move which is called the slip we going to slip out the wi now we've got a line in between our feet you're going to throw one two as the two comes back the fist our head's going to come to our back side and come off that line and we sliping out the way if you think of a Punch coming out you you're going to one two you slipping to defend that punch putting your weight on your back foot one two slip one two slip one two slip nice now from there we going to add on that two we're going to do a one two slip two one two slip two yeah one two slip two now from there we want to finish the combination off and this is the last thing we're going to work on is going to be with a hook and a two so you want to throw that one two slip two hook two one two slip two hook two one two slip two two exed with eight point now let's go over it all together so hands up step forward step back job one two sh sh step forward step back one two step left left foot first step right right foot first one two hook [Music] two one two slip two hook two one two slip two hook two one two slip two hook two and guys that's it there the basics of boxing obviously the more you're practicing the more comfortable it'll get it'll feel awkward for you at first but the more you practice the better you're going to get it okay now let's get some hand wraps on get your gloves on and we have a little go that at the bag so now we've learned all of that it's time to put up the practice on the heavy bags get your hand wraps on get your gloves on and let's go first punch we're going to work on is the basic punch the number one and one thing when you want hitting the heavy bag
