numbers are more than just figures in the Bible they carry messages reveal Divine patterns and tell a story woven by God himself every number that appears in scripture is intentional placed there with meaning purpose and deep spiritual significance from the very beginning numbers have played a role in God's design and today we're going to unlock their Mysteries together but before we move forward let me ask you something have you ever noticed how certain numbers appear over and over again in the Bible 7402 these aren't just random they show up in key moments from the creation story to Jesus ministry and even in Prophecy they aren't coincidences they are Fingerprints of God guiding us to deeper truths so why does this matter because when you understand what these numbers mean the Bible comes alive in a whole new way it's like seeing a hidden layer of God's message which has been right in front of us all along this is not numerology mysticism or Superstition this is biblical truth straight from the word of God now before we dive in let's start with the foundation why do numbers matter to God one of the clearest verses on this is found in Proverbs 25:2 ESV it says it is the glory of God to conceal things but the Glory of Kings is to search things out think about that God has Hidden Treasures in his word not to keep them from us but to invite us to seek them out and today that's exactly what we're going to do before we continue make sure to subscribe and turn on notifications this kind of deep biblical study St is rare and I don't want you to miss out on what's coming next all right let's begin number one the number of God's unity in the Bible the number one is all about God being the one true God it represents his power his authority and the fact that there is no other like him from the very beginning God made it clear that he alone is God and there is no one beside him this is why the number one is so important it reminds us that everything starts with God and he is the foundation of everything the most powerful verse about this is Deuteronomy chapter 6 verse4 which says here oh Israel the Lord Our God the Lord is one this verse is one of the most important in the whole Bible it was a command given to the the people of Israel reminding them that there is only one God and he is the only one they should Worship in those days people worshiped many gods statues false idols and even the sun and moon but God made it clear there is no other God but him we see the same truth in Isaiah 45:5 where God says I am the lord and there is no other besides me there is no God this means that God is not one of many he is the only one the number one is a symbol of his Unity his power and his complete rule over everything the number one is also seen in Jesus Christ Jesus is one with the father meaning he and God are the same in power and authority in John 10:30 Jesus said I and the father are one this is a powerful statement it means that Jesus is not just a prophet or a good teacher he is fully God he and the father are one in purpose one in love and one in power this is why when we pray we pray in the name of Jesus because he is the one who connects us directly to God the number one is also a symbol of our relationship with God the Bible tells us us that we must put God first in everything we do Matthew 6:33 says but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you this means that God should be the number one priority in our lives if we put him first he will take care of everything else so many people worry about money success and what others think of them but Jesus tells us to focus focus on God first and everything else will fall into place the number one also represents unity in the body of Christ as Believers we are all part of one Church One Faith and we serve one God Ephesians 4: 4-6 says there is one body and one Spirit just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call one Lord one Faith one baptism one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all this means that all True Believers are part of the same family no matter where they come from whether you are rich or poor black or white from the city or the village We Are One in Christ we may have different backgrounds different languages and different experiences but at the end of the day we serve the same God since God is one we cannot serve him and serve something else at the same time Jesus made this clear in Matthew 6: 24 where he said no one can serve two masters for either he will hate the one and love the other or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other you cannot serve God and money this means that we must fully commit ourselves to God if we try to follow God and follow the world at the same time we will always struggle but when we make God our number one Everything Changes we find peace joy and strength that nothing else can give the number one reminds us that God is the beginning and the foundation of all things there is only one true God only one Savior and only one way to eternal life and that is through Jesus Christ John 14:6 says Jesus said to him I am the way and the truth and the life no one comes to the father except through me this is the message of the number one God is one he is first and he should be first in our lives now before we move forward if this teaching is blessed ing you make sure to subscribe and join us for the rest of this series there is so much more to uncover and you don't want to miss it let's keep going number two the number of witness and division the number two in the Bible has two big meanings witness and division on one hand it shows how something must be confirmed by two witnesses on the other hand it also represents division two things that are opposite separate or in Conflict God uses the number two to show us how truth is established and how choices divide people in the Bible something is considered true when there are at least two witnesses to confirm it God set this rule in the Old Testament so that no one could be falsely accused without proof in Deuteronomy 19:15 God says a single witness shall not suffice against a person for any crime or for any wrong in connection with any offense that he has committed only on the evidence of two witnesses or three Witnesses shall a charge be established this means that if someone claimed another person had done something wrong they needed at least two witnesses to confirm it this was important because without Witnesses false accusations could destroy innocent lives even today in court Witnesses are required to prove a case this rule came from God we also see this in the New Testament when Jesus spoke about the power of agreement between two people in Matthew 18: 19 Jesus said again I say to you if two of you agree on Earth about anything they ask it will be done for them by my Father in Heaven this shows the power of unity when two people pray together their prayer is even stronger God listens when there is agreement when Jesus sent out his disciples to preach he didn't send them alone he sent them two by two why because two people can support and strengthen each other in mark 6:7 and it says and he called the 12 and began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over the unclean spirits Jesus knew that when two people go out together they encourage each other if one gets tired the other can help if one is weak the other is strong this is why we need Fellowship we need Brothers and Sisters in Christ to stand with us in the last days God will send two powerful witnesses to speak his truth they will perform perform Miracles and preach to the world we see this in Revelation 11: 3: 4 where God says and I will grant authority to my two witnesses and they will prophesy for 1,260 days clothed in sackcloth these are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the Earth this shows us that before God brings judgment he will send two witnesses to confirm his truth they will preach but the world will reject them this leads us to the second meaning of the number two division from the beginning the number two has been a symbol of division think about creation God created light and darkness two opposites he separated the day from night Genesis 1:4 we also see division in the first Brothers Cain and Abel one followed God and the other rejected him their division led to the first murder Genesis 4:8 even Jesus spoke about division in Matthew 25: 32-33 he said that at the end of time God will separate people into two groups the righteous and the wicked before him will be gathered all the nations and he will separate people one from another as a Shepherd separates the sheep from the goats and he will place the sheep on his right but the goats on the left this means that there will always be two choices God's way or the world's way Jesus himself said in Matthew 7: 13 to4 enter by the narrow gate for the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to dest struction and those who enter by it are many for the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life and those who find it are few there are two paths in life one leads to God and the other leads away from him you have to choose which one you will take the Bible also tells us that there are two types of people those who belong to God and those who don't in John 3:18 Jesus said whoever believes in him is not condemned but whoever does not believe is condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only son of God this is the biggest division of all those who accept Jesus and those who reject him the number two reminds us that we all have a choice we can follow Jesus and receive eternal life or we can re reject him and be separated from God forever the number two teaches us an important lesson we must choose whom we will serve we cannot follow both the world and God at the same time in Joshua chapter 24:15 Joshua told the people choose this day whom you will serve but as for me in my house we will serve the Lord this is the same choice we face today will we stand as a witness for God or will we be divided from him number three the number of divine completeness the number three in the Bible is powerful it represents completeness Perfection and the fullness of God's plan when something happens three times in the Bible it is a sign that God has completed something fully think about this God is revealed in three persons Father Son and Holy Spirit Jesus rose from the dead on the third day there were three crosses on Calvary over and over again we see the number three when God is showing us something deep and complete one of the most important truths in the Bible is that God is one but he exists in three persons this is what we call the Trinity God the Father God the son Jesus and God the Holy Spirit we see this clearly in Matthew chapter 28 verse 19 where Jesus told his disciples go therefore and Make Disciples of all Nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit God is always been three in one even in the very beginning during creation we see this in Genesis 1:26 God said let us make man in our image after our likeness the word us shows that God was not alone the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit were together in creation this is why the number three is so important it reminds us of the wholeness of God the most powerful moment in history is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ Jesus died for our sins but he did not stay in the grave on the third day he rose again this was not by accident the number three was used to show that his work was fully complete in Luke 24:7 Jesus himself said the son of man must be delivered into the hands of sin men and be crucified and on the third day rise the third day was the Day of Victory this shows us that when God does something he finishes it when Jesus was crucified there were three crosses on the hill on one cross was a sinner who rejected Jesus on another was a sinner who believed in Jesus and the middle was Jesus the savior of the world this was not an accident it was a picture of the three types of people in the world those who reject Jesus and die in their sins those who accept Jesus and receive eternal life Jesus himself who stands in the middle as the only way to God in Luke 23: 42-43 the thief who believed said to Jesus Jesus Remember me when you come into your kingdom om and Jesus replied truly I say to you today you will be with me in Paradise this shows us the power of faith in Jesus in just one moment a man's eternity changed forever in the Bible we also see people praying three times a day Daniel Prayed morning noon and night in Daniel 6:1 it says he got down on his knees KN three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God as he had done previously even Jesus before he was arrested prayed three times in the Garden of Gethsemane this shows us that the number three is connected to spiritual discipline and seeking God another powerful example of the number three is Jonah when Jonah disobeyed God he was swallowed by a great fish and spent three days in three nights inside its belly In Jonah 1:1 17 it says and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights this was not just a random event Jonah's three days in the fish was a picture of Jesus being in the grave for 3 days before Rising again Jesus himself confirmed this in Matthew chap 12: 40 for just as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish so will the son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the Earth this shows us that the number three is connected to Salvation repentance and the power of God's plan the Bible tells us that there are three Witnesses in heaven the Father the word Jesus and the Holy Spirit in 1 John 5:7 and it says for there are three that Testify the spirit and the water and the blood and these three agree this means that God's testimony is complete everything he does is in perfect unity and his truth stands forever the number three in the Bible is a sign of God's Perfection his completeness and his divine plan it reminds us that God is father Son and Holy Spirit Jesus rose on the third day completing our Salvation there were three crosses showing the choice We Must ALL make Jonah's three days in the fish pointed to Jesus's resurrection everything God does is perfect and when we see the number three it is a reminder that God's plan is always complete number four the number of the earth and God's order the number four in the Bible represents the Earth creation and God's perfect order when God created the world he put things in place to show balance stability and direction we see the number four connected to the Four Seasons the four directions north south east and west and the four corners of the Earth this number reminds us that God is a god of order and everything he does is set in perfect balance the Bible often talks about the four directions North South East and West this shows that God's rule is not limited to one place he is the god of the whole world in Revelation 7:1 John had a vision and wrote after this I saw Four Angels standing at the Four Corners of the Earth holding back the Four Winds of the earth that no wind might blow on Earth or sea or against any tree this means that God has set boundaries for the Earth nothing happens outside of his control the four corners of the earth represent how God's power reaches everywhere no matter where you are in the world God sees you he knows you and he is in control when God created the world he worked in an orderly way on the fourth day he made the sun moon and stars this was important because these lights in the sky helped people measure time days and seasons in Genesis 1: 14-19 it says and God said let there be lights in the expans of the Heavens to separate the day from the night and let them be for sign and for seasons and for days and years God used the number four to establish time and Order without the sun moon and stars there would be no way to tell night from day or Seasons from Seasons this shows us that God is a god of structure not confusion everything he does has a reason and a perfect plan in the New Testament we have four gospels Matthew mark Luke and John these four books give us the complete picture of Jesus Christ each gospel shows a different side of Jesus Matthew shows Jesus as the king Mark shows Jesus as the servant Luke shows Jesus as the son of man Human Side John shows Jesus as the Son of God Divine side why did God allow four different accounts because one gospel alone wouldn't give us the full picture just like the four directions cover the whole earth the four gospels cover the whole truth about Jesus in heaven the Bible describes four powerful creatures that stand before God's Throne each of them represents something unique about God's nature in Revelation 4: 6 to7 John describes them and around the throne on each side of the throne are four living creatures the first creature was like a lion the second like an ox the third had a face like a man and the fourth was like an eagle in Flight these four creatures represent the lion Jesus as king and ruler the ox Jesus as a servant who carries our burdens the man Jesus in his human nature the eagle Jesus as the powerful Heavenly Son of God this connects to the four gospels and shows that God's nature is complete in every way the Book of Revelation also describes Four Horsemen who will bring judgment in the last days each one represent something that will come upon the Earth in Revelation 6: 1 to8 it talks about the White Horse represents a false piece the red horse represents war and bloodshed the black horse represents famine and suffering The Pale Horse represents death this shows us that the number four is connected to the Earth and to events that will happen in the end times God has set the world in a rhythm of Four Seasons spring New Life Begins summer life grows and flourishes fall things start to slow down and prepare for change winter a time of rest before New Life begins again in Genesis 8:22 God promised while the Earth remains seed time and harvest cold and Heat summer and winter day and night shall not cease this means that God has set the Earth in order and as long as the world exists these four seasons will continue in Matthew 13: 3 to9 Jesus told a parable about a farmer who planted seeds the seeds fell on four different types of soil representing the four conditions of the human heart the path people who hear the word but don't understand it the rocky soil people who receive the word but give up when Trouble Comes the thorny soil people who accept the word but get distracted by the world the good soil people who receive the word and grow strong in faith Jesus was showing that everyone falls into one of these four categories the question is which one are you the number four reminds us that God created the Earth with balance and Direction he set seasons time and boundaries in place he gave us the four gospels to give us a full picture of Jesus there are four types of people and we must choose which one we will be everything about God's plan is perfect he is not a god of confusion but a god of order and structure number five the number of grace and favor the number five in the Bible is special it represents Grace favor and God's kindness whenever we see the number five it is often connected to God giving something freely to his people what is Grace Grace is when God gives us something we do not deserve we don't earn it we don't work for it he gives it because he loves us for example salvation is by Grace we did not do anything to deserve it but God gave it to us as a gift through Jesus Christ in Ephesians 2: 8-9 it says for by Grace you have been saved through faith and this is not your own doing it is the gift of God not a result of works so that no one may boast this means that we do not earn salvation by being good people we are saved only because of God's grace in the Old Testament God gave the Israelites five different types of offerings to bring to him each offering had a purpose but all of them were a way for God to show his grace to his people these offerings were the burnt offering given to show Devotion to God the grain offering given to thank God for his blessings the peace offering given to celebrate peace with God the sin offering given to ask for forgiveness the guilt offering given to make things right after doing wrong these five offerings reminded the people that God is merciful and provides a way for them to be close to him even in the Old Testament God's grace was present one of the most famous stories in the Bible is David and Goliath when David went to fight Goliath he didn't take a sword or armor instead he picked up five smooth stones from a river in 1st Samuel 17:40 it says then he took his staff in his hand and chose five smooth stones from the brook and put them in his Shepherd's pouch his sling Ling was in his hand and he approached the Philistine why did David choose five Stones Some believe it was because Goliath had four brothers meaning David was ready to fight all of them if needed but more importantly it shows that God's grace was with David David did not defeat Goliath by his strength he won because of God's grace this story reminds us that when we trust in God his grace will give us Victory the first five books of the Bible Genesis Exodus Leviticus Numbers and Deuteronomy are called the Torah or the law of Moses these books contain God's instructions for his people through these five books God gave his people a way to live in his grace and favor even though the Israelites struggled to obey God's grace never left them in Psalm 119: 105 it says your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path God gave these five books to guide his people and show them his love and grace one of the greatest Miracles Jesus did was feeding 5,000 people with just five loaves of bread and two fish in Matthew 14 veres 19 to 20 it says then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass and taking the Five Loaves and the two fish he looked up to heaven and said a blessing then he broke the Loaves and gave them to the disciples and the disciples gave them to the crowds and they all ate and were satisfied this miracle was a picture of God's grace Jesus took something small and mult multiplied it to bless thousands of people this is what Grace does God takes what we have even if it is little and makes it more than enough when Jesus died on the cross he had five wounds on his body the nail in his right hand the nail in his left hand the nail in his right foot the nail in his left foot the spear wound in his side these Five Wounds were the price of Grace Jesus suffered so that we could receive forgiveness and eternal life in Isaiah 53:5 it says but he was pierced for our transgressions he was crushed for our iniquities upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace and with his wounds we are healed this means that because of what Jesus did we can now receive God's grace his suffering open the door for us to be saved in Matthew 25: 1-13 Jesus told a parable about 10 virgins waiting for a wedding five of them were wise and five were foolish the wise virgins brought extra oil for their lamps but the foolish ones did not when the groom came the wise virgins were ready but the foolish ones were left outside Jesus was teaching us to be ready for his return the number five in this story reminds us that God's grace is available but we must receive it while there is still time the number five in the Bible is a reminder that God is full of grace he does not give us what we deserve instead He blesses us forgives us and loves us freely there were five offerings in the Old Testament showing God's mercy David picked five Stones showing that Victory comes by grace there are five books of the law guiding Us in his grace Jesus fed 5,000 with Five Loaves showing that Grace is more than enough Jesus had Five Wounds paying the price for our Salvation everything in the Bible points to God's love his mercy and his unending Grace number six the number of man and imperfection the number six in the Bible is connected to man weakness sin and imperfection while the number seven represents completion and Perfection the number six falls short of God's perfect plan it reminds us that without God man is weak and incomplete the first time we see the number six in the Bible is in the creation story on the sixth day God created man in Genesis 1: 26 it says then God said let us make man in our image after our likeness and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and the livestock and over all the Earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth God made man on the sixth day which means that six is the number of humanity unlike the animals Man was created in God's image but man was still not complete without God this is why on the seventh day God rested because his work was finished the number six reminds us that man on his own is incomplete we need God's presence and his guidance to be truly complete in the Bible ible God set up a pattern where man is to work for six days and then rest on the seventh day in Exodus 20: 9 to1 God gave this command six days you shall labor and do all your work but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God on it you shall not do any work this shows us that man's labor tied to the number six but true rest and completion come on the seventh day no matter how much work we do it is never enough without God's rest this is also a picture of our spiritual life people try to work their way to heaven thinking if they do enough good God will accept them but the truth is our work will never be enough only Jesus brings true rest and salvation one of the most famous uses of the number six is in the Book of Revelation where we see 666 the Number of the Beast in Revelation 13:18 it says this calls for wisdom let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the Beast for it is the number of a man and his number is 666 the Number 666 represents Rebellion against God it is a man trying to be God the reason this number is so important is that it falls short of 777 God's perfect number it is a reminder that without God man will always fall short this is why we must not trust in man but in God many people today put their faith in leaders governments or even in themselves but only God can save us in the story of David and Goliath we see the number six again in 1st Samuel 17: 4-7 the Bible describes Goliath he was six cubits tall he had a six- piece suit of armor his Spear's head weighed 600 shekels Goliath represents human strength pride and Rebellion against God but what happened David a young Shepherd with God on his side defeated him this shows us that Man's power symbolized by the number six is nothing compared to God's power in the Book of Daniel we see another example of the number six being connected to human Pride King Nebuchadnezzar who ruled Babylon built a golden statue and told everyone to worship it in Daniel 3:1 it says King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold whose height was 60 cubits and its breadth six cubits this was a false god and it represented human pride and Rebellion against the true God but what happened three men Shadrach meach and Abednego refused to bow down and God saved them from the fiery furnace this story teaches us that man's kingdoms and power symbolized by six will always fall but God's kingdom will last forever even in the story of Jesus we see the number six connected to man's sin in mark 15:2 it says and it was the third hour When They Crucified him and in Mark 15:33 it says and when the sixth hour had come there was Darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour at the sixth hour Darkness covered the land this was a sign that man's sin had reached its fullest Jesus Took upon himself the punishment for our sins he suffered so that we could be saved this is why the number six is so important it reminds us that without Jesus we are lost in sin but because of his sacrifice we can be made whole the number six teaches us that the Man was created on the sixth day but he is incomplete without God man works for six days but true rest comes from God Alone 666 represents human rebellion and failure without God Goliath Nebuchadnezzar and other great human rulers trusted in their strength but they all fell Jesus died for our sins showing that man alone could never save himself this number is a reminder that we need Jesus we cannot rely on our strength our wisdom or our power only God can complete Us number seven the number of perfection and completion the number seven is one of the most important numbers in the Bible it represents Perfection completeness and God's divine plan whenever you see the number 7 in Scripture it means that God has finished something and it is complete from the creation story to the Book of Revelation the number seven appears over and over again reminding us that God is in control and his work is always perfect the first time we see the number seven in the Bible is in the story of Creation in Genesis 2:2 it says and on the seventh day God finished the work that he had done and he rested on on the seventh day from all the work that he had done God worked for six days creating the heavens the Earth the animals and man but on the seventh day he rested this does not mean that God was tired no it means that his work was finished and everything was perfect this is why the number seven represents completion everything God does is whole perfect and lacks nothing because of this God set a pattern of seven in the Bible work for six days rest on the seventh day the land was farmed for six years then rested in the seventh year there were seven feasts in the Old Testament Jericho's walls fell after seven days of marching this pattern shows that God moves in cycles of completion when he starts something he always finishes it in his perfect timing Jesus's life was also connected to the number seven Jesus performed seven miracles on the Sabbath the seventh day of the week Jesus spoke seven last words on the cross Jesus told Peter to forgive 77 times each of these events reminds us that Jesus came to complete God's plan to bring Salvation and make everything perfect again in the Book of Revelation we see seven spirits before God's throne in Revelation 1:4 it says grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come and from the seven spirits who are before his throne this does not mean there are seven different Holy Spirits it means that the spirit of God is perfect and complete and works in many ways Isaiah gives us a picture of the seven-fold spirit of God in Isaiah 11:2 and the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him the spirit of wisdom and understanding the spirit of counsel and might the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord this means that the holy spirit is complete in power wisdom and Truth in the Book of Revelation Jesus speaks to seven churches in Revelation chapters 2 and 3 he gives messages to Ephesus the church that lost its first love Smyrna the church that suffered persecution pergamum the church that allowed false teaching thota the church that tolerated sin Sardis the church that was spiritually dead Philadelphia the church that stayed faithful leoda the lukewarm Church These churches represent different types of Believers throughout history showing that God's message is complete and applies to all people in the end times the Book of Revelation talks about Seven Seals that will be opened seven trumpets that will sound seven bowls of God's Wrath these events show that God's judgment and plan for the world will be completed perfect L nothing will be left undone one of the greatest stories in the Bible that shows the power of seven is the story of Joshua and the walls of Jericho in Joshua 6 verses 2 to 5 God told Joshua you shall March around the city all the men of War going around the city once thus shall you do for Six Days on the seventh day you shall March around the city seven times and the priests shall blow the trumpets and when they make a long blast with the Ram's Horn when you hear the sound of the trumpet then all the people shall Shout with a great shout and the wall of the city will fall flat Joshua obeyed and on the seventh day after marching seven times the walls of Jericho fell this story teaches us that God gives victory in his perfect time if we remain patient and obedient we will see his perfect plan come to pass the number seven teaches us that God's work is complete he created the world in seven days God's timing is perfect he works in cycles of seven Jesus completed our Salvation making everything whole again the Book of Revelation is full of sevens showing God's final plan for the world number eight the number of new beginnings the number eight in the Bible represents New Beginnings Fresh Starts and Resurrection when we see the number eight in Scripture it is often connected to Something Old ending and something new beginning God is a god of new things he does not leave us stuck in the past he makes All Things New in Isaiah 43: 19 God says behold I am doing a new thing now it Springs forth do you not perceive it I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert this means that no matter what has happened before God can start something new in your life and the number eight is a symbol of that promise Jesus was resurrected on the first day of the new week which is also the eighth day if you count from the previous week in mark 16:9 it says now when he rose early on the first day of the week he appeared first to Mary Magdalene from whom he had cast out seven demons Jesus's resurrection on the e8th day shows us that his rising from the dead was the beginning of something new a New Covenant a new life and A New Hope for all who believe one of the strongest examples of the number eight representing New Beginnings is the story of Noah's Ark in 1 Peter 3:20 it says because they formerly did not obey when God's patience waited in the days of Noah while the ark was being prepared in which a few that is eight persons were brought safely through water God sent a great flood to cleanse the Earth but he saved eight people Noah and his family After the flood a new world began this shows that the number eight is a sign of a fresh start and a second chance in the Old Testament God commanded that baby boys be circumcised on the Eighth Day in Genesis 17:12 it says he who is 8 days old among you shall be circumcised every male throughout your Generations whether born in your house or bought with your money from any Foreigner who is not of your Offspring circumcision was a sign of God's covenant his promise to his people by doing it on the eighth day God was showing that this was a new beginning for every child born into the Covenant this is a reminder that God marks us for a new life when we enter into a relationship with him the Feast of Tabernacles one of the the most important Jewish celebrations lasted 8 days in Leviticus 23:39 God commanded on the 15th day of the seventh month when you have gathered in the produce of the land you shall celebrate the Feast of the Lord Seven Days on the first day shall be a solemn rest and on the Eighth Day shall be a solemn rest the eth day was a day of joy and celebration marking the completion of the old and the start of something new David the greatest king of Israel was the eighth son in his family in 1st Samuel chapter 16: 11 when the prophet Samuel came to anoint the next king he asked Jesse if he had another son Jesse answered there remains yet the youngest but behold he is keeping the Sheep David was the eth son and God chose him to bring a new beginning to Israel this shows that even if people Overlook you God has a plan to raise you in his perfect timing the final and greatest new beginning in the Bible is when God will create a new Heaven and a new Earth in Revelation chap 21:5 God says behold I am making all things new this is the ultimate New Beginning a future where there will be no more pain no more death and no more sin the number eight reminds us that God is leading us toward something greater the number eight teaches us that Jesus rose from the dead on the Eighth Day bringing New Life Noah and his family eight people started a new world circumcision on the eighth day was a sign of a fresh Covenant the Feast of Tabernacles ended on the Eighth Day marking a new time of Joy David the eighth son was chosen for a new kingdom God is preparing a new Heaven and a new Earth if you are feeling stuck God can give you a new beginning if you have made mistakes he can give you a second chance the the number eight is a sign that the past is over and God is doing something new in your life number nine the number of divine judgment and fruitfulness the number nine in the Bible represents Divine judgment finality and the fruits of the spirit it is a number that speaks of both God's justice and his goodness whenever we see the number nine in script it is often connected to the end of something and the result of what has been done God is a just God and He will always judge between right and wrong but at the same time he also desires that his people bear good fruit that we live in a way that pleases him one of the most important moments in history happened at the 9th hour the hour when Jesus gave his life for us on the cross in mark 15:34 it says and at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice Elo Elo LMA sabani which means my God my God why have you forsaken me this was the moment when Jesus Took on the sins of the world at the ninth hour he gave his last breath completing God's Plan of Salvation this shows us that the number nine is connected to fin ality Jesus's sacrifice was the final payment for our sins the number nine is not just about judgment it is also about fruitfulness in Galatians 5: 22- 23 the Bible lists the nine fruits of the spirit but the fruit of the spirit is love joy peace patience kindness goodness faithfulness gentleness self-control against such things there is no law when we live according to God's spirit these nine qualities should be seen in our lives each of these fruits shows God's character if we are truly following Jesus our lives will produce good fruit throughout the Bible we see nine different people or groups judged by God for their sins Adam and Eve judged for disobeying God Cain judged for killing his brother the people in Noah's time judged by the flood the people of Sodom and Gomorrah judged with fire pharaoh and Egypt judged through plagues Kora and his followers judged for Rebellion the Israelites in the wilderness judged for unbelief King Saul judged for Disobedience Judas es scariot judged for betraying Jesus these judgments show that God takes sin seriously but at the same time he always gives people a chance to repent before judgment comes in Luke 17: 11 to 19 Jesus healed 10 lepers but only one came back to thank him then Jesus answered were not 10 cleansed where are the nine this story is a reminder that many people receive blessings from God but few remember to give him thanks the number nine here represents those who forget to honor God we must always be thankful for what God has done in our lives just as there are nine fruits of the spirit there are also nine gifts of the Spirit given to Believers in 1 Corinthians chapter 12: 8 to10 Paul lists these gifts wisdom knowledge Faith healing Miracles per prophecy Discerning of spirits speaking in tongues and interpretation of tongues these gifts are given by the Holy Spirit to help Believers serve and build up the church this shows that the number nine is not only about judgment but also about power and spiritual blessings in the natural world a woman carries a baby for 9 months before giving birth this is another reason why the number nine is connected to fruitful after 9 months a new life comes forth in the same way when God is working in our lives sometimes we have to go through a process before we see the results even when things seem difficult trust that God is preparing something great your breakthrough is coming the number nine teaches us that Jesus gave his life at the ninth hour complete in God's Plan of Salvation the nine fruits of the spirit show the character of a True Believer nine different judgments in the Bible remind us that sin has consequences nine lepers did not thank Jesus let us always be grateful the nine gifts of the Spirit Empower us to serve God pregnancy lasts nine months showing that new beginnings take time God's message in the number nine is clear he is calling us to live a life that bears good fruit we must choose to walk in his Spirit be grateful and trust that he is bringing something new into our lives number 10 the number of divine order and responsibility the number 10 in the Bible is a powerful number number it represents God's divine order completeness and human responsibility when we see the number 10 in Scripture it is often connected to God setting things in order whether through laws Authority or judgment everything God does has structure and purpose the number 10 reminds us that God has established his order in the world and he expects us to live according to his ways it also teaches us that we are responsible for our choices what we do with what God has given us one of the most well-known uses of the number 10 in the Bible is the ten commandments in Exodus 20: 1-17 God gave 10 laws to Moses on Mount Si these Commandments were not just for Israel they apply to all of us because they show us God's moral standard The Ten Commandments are you shall have no other gods for me you shall not make Idols you shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy honor your father and your mother you shall not murder you shall not commit adultery you shall not steal you shall not bear false witness lie against your neighbor you shall not covet desire what belongs to others these Commandments set the foundation of God's order for society they show us how to love God the first four Commandments and how to treat others the last six Commandments but here's the truth no one can perfectly keep these laws that's why Jesus came he fulfilled the law so that through him we can be saved before the Israelites were set free from slavery God sent 10 plagues upon Egypt in Exodus 7 to12 we see these 10 plagues water turned to blood frogs covered the land lice Came Upon people and animals swarms of flies filled the land livestock died from disease boils broke out on people hail destroyed crops and animals locusts devoured everything Darkness covered Egypt for 3 Days death of the firstborn in every Egyptian home these 10 plagues were not random they were God's judgment against Egypt's false gods and his way of bringing his people out of bondage this teaches us something important when people reject God's order chaos follows but when we follow God's way there is blessing and freedom Jesus also used the number 10 in one of his most famous Parables the parable of of the 10 virgins in Matthew 25: 1-13 Jesus told a story about 10 virgins who were waiting for a wedding five were wise they brought extra oil for their lamps five were foolish they did not bring extra oil when the bridegroom symbolizing Jesus arrived the wise virgins were ready and went to the wedding but the foolish virgins were locked outside because they were not prepared this story warns us to be spiritually prepared for the return of Jesus the number 10 reminds us that we have a responsibility to stay ready and live in obedience the number 10 is also connected to tithing the practice of giving 10% of our income to God in Malachi 3:10 God says bring the full tithe into the storehouse that there may be food in my house and thereby put me to the test says the Lord of hosts if I will not open the windows of Heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need God asks for 10% not because he needs money but because giving shows our trust in him when we give God promises to bless us in return this is not just about money it's about honoring God with everything we have in Genesis 5 the Bible lists 10 Generations from Adam to Noah these 10 Generations represent the time before the great flood When sin and wickedness increased on the earth because of this God judged the world with a flood but he saved Noah and his family this shows that God is patient but he will eventually bring judgment on sin the number 10 reminds us that that God has a set time for everything and we must be ready we have 10 fingers and 10 toes and this is no accident it symbolizes that God created us to work serve and walk in his ways in Ecclesiastes 9:10 it says whatever your hand finds to do do it with your might this reminds us that God has given us the ability to work and be responsible he expects us to use our hands to build bless and serve others the number 10 teaches us that God has set laws and Commandments for us to follow judgment comes when people reject God's order like the 10 plagues of Egypt we must be spiritually ready like the five wise virgins giving 10% tithing is a way of honoring God and trusting him God has a time for everything like the 10 Generations Before the Flood our 10 fingers and 10 toes remind us of our duty to work and walk in righteousness the number 10 is a reminder that God has given us instructions and it is our responsibility to follow them when we do things God's way we live in his Blessing but when we reject his order we face the consequences the question is are you living according to God's divine order number 12 the number of God's government and Authority the number 12 in the Bible represents God's Divine government Authority and perfect order when we see the number 12 in Scripture it is often connected to leadership structure and God's plan for his people God does not do things randomly he is a god of order the number 12 shows up many times in the Bible to remind us that God is in control he is leading his people and he has a plan for everything one of the most well-known uses of the number 12 in the Bible is the 12 tribes of of Israel in Genesis 49 Jacob also called Israel had 12 sons and these sons became the leaders of the 12 tribes of Israel these tribes were Ruben Simeon Levi Judah Dan of talad aser isachar eul and Joseph Benjamin God built his Nation on these 12 tribes they were his people set apart to be a light to the world this shows that God's government and Authority were established through 12 leaders when Jesus began his ministry he chose 12 disciples in Matthew 10: 1-4 it says and he called to him his 12 disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal every disease and every Affliction these 12 disciples were the foundation of the church after Jesus's resurrection they went out to preach the gospel perform Miracles and spread the message of Salvation this shows us that God uses the number 12 to establish his leadership and Authority in the same way he built Israel with 12 tribes he built the church with 12 disciples the Book of Revelation gives us a picture of heaven 's perfect order and guess what the number 12 is everywhere in Revelation chap 21: 12 to4 it describes the New Jerusalem it had a great high wall with 12 gates and at the gates 12 angels and on the gates the names of the 12 tribes of the sons of Israel were inscribed and the wall of the city had 12 foundations and on them were the 12 names of the 12 Apostles of the Lamb this means that God's Eternal kingdom is built upon the 12 tribes of Israel and the TW Apostles everything in heaven is done in perfect order with structure and leadership in Mark 5: 25-34 we read about a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years she had spent everything she had on doctors but no one could heal her one day she heard about Jesus and said to herself if I touch even his garments I will be made well Mark 5:28 she reached out touched jesus' robe and immediately she was healed Jesus turned and said daughter your faith has made you well go in peace and be healed of your disease the fact that she suffered for 12 years is not a coincidence it shows that her suffering was under God's timing and when the time was complete healing came this teaches us that God's timing is perfect sometimes we go through long seasons of pain waiting and suffering but when God's appointed time his Divine number 12 comes he will make everything right in the same chapter of Mark right after Jesus healed the woman he went to the house of a man named gyrus his 12-year-old daughter had just died in mark 5: 41-42 it says taking her by the hand he said to her talith aumi which means little girl I say to you arise and immediately the girl got up and began walking for she was 12 years of age and they were immediately overcome with amazement this is another powerful example of God's perfect timing the number 12 was a sign that God's order was at work the woman suffered for 12 years and at the same time this little girl lived for 12 years and was brought back to life this teaches us that when God moves he brings healing restoration and new life in the Old Testament inside the Tabernacle of God there was a special table called the table of showbread on this table there were 12 loaves of bread rep presenting the 12 tribes of Israel in Leviticus 24: 5-6 God commanded you shall take fine flour and bake 12 loaves from it and you shall set them in two piles six in a pile on the table of pure gold before the Lord this bread was a symbol of God's provision for his people it was always before him showing that he was the their provider and sustainer the number 12 here reminds us that God takes care of those who belong to him in the Old Testament the high priest of Israel wore a special garment with 12 Stones on his chest each Stone represented one of the 12 tribes of Israel in Exodus 28: 211 God said there shall be 12 Stones with their names according to the names of the sons of Israel they shall be like signets each engraved with its name for the 12 tribes this showed that God carried his people close to his heart it was a reminder that his government Authority and Leadership were established upon them the number 12 teaches us that God built Israel into 12 tribes showing his leadership and authority Jesus chose 12 disciples to establish his church he Heaven's New Jerusalem has 12 gates and 12 foundations a woman was healed after 12 years of suffering showing God's perfect timing a 12-year-old girl was raised from the dead proving God's power over life and death the 12 loaves of bread in the Tabernacle show that God provides for his people the high priest wore 12 Stones representing God's care for his people the number 12 is a sign that God is in control he is leading his people establishing his kingdom and making everything work according to his perfect plan if you feel like things in your life are out of order trust God's timing he is in control and when the right time comes everything will fall into place number 40 the number of testing trials and preparation the number 40 in the Bible represents a time of testing trials and preparation for something new when we see the number 40 in Scripture it usually means that God is preparing someone or something for a great purpose sometimes God allows tests and challenges in our lives not to destroy us but to make us stronger the number 4 teaches us that after a season of testing comes a breakthrough one of the first times we see the number 40 in the Bible is in the story of Noah's Ark in Genesis 7:12 it says and the rain fell upon the Earth 40 days and 40 nights God sent rain for 40 days and 40 nights to cleanse the Earth of wickedness the world was full of sin and God wanted to start over but Noah and his family were saved because they obeyed God this teaches us that sometimes God takes us through storms to wash away the old and bring in the new if we remain faithful like Noah we will be saved and blessed when the storm is over Moses the man God used to lead Israel had to go through 40 Years of preparation before stepping into his calling in Acts 7:30 it says now when 40 years had passed an angel appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Si in a flame of fire in a Bush Moses spent 40 years in the desert before God called him from the burning bush he was being prepared for his mission this teaches us that sometimes God takes his time to prepare us for big things even when we don't understand why we are waiting God is shaping us for what's ahead after Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt they disobeyed God and had to wander in the desert for 40 years in numbers 14:33 God told them and your children shall be shepherds in the wilderness 40 years and shall suffer for your faithlessness until the last of your dead bodies lies in the wilderness they were supposed to enter the promised land quickly but because of their lack of faith God made them wait 40 years this teaches us that Disobedience can delay our blessings God wants to take us into our Promised Land but if we do not trust him we may have to wait longer before Jesus started his ministry he went into the Wilderness to pray and fast for 40 days in Matthew 4:2 it says and after fasting 40 days and 40 nights he was hungry during this time Satan came to tempt him but Jesus resisted every Temptation with the word of God this shows us that before we step into God's purpose we may go through a season of testing the devil will try to stop us but if we hold on to God's word we will overcome the Prophet Elijah also had a 40-day journey when he was running from Queen Jezebel in First Kings chapter 19 verse 8 it says and he arose and ate and drank and went in the strength of that food 40 days and 40 nights to Herb the Mount of God Elijah was tired and discouraged but after 40 days he met with God on the mountain this shows that sometimes we feel weak and want to give up but if we keep moving God will give us strength and reveal himself to us after Jesus rose from the dead he spent 40 days teaching his disciples before going to heaven in Acts 1:3 it says he presented himself alive to them after his suffering by many proofs appearing to them during 40 days and speaking about the king om of God Jesus used this time to prepare his disciples for their mission this shows us that after every season of testing God brings a season of teaching and Revelation when God sent Jonah to Nineveh he gave the people 40 days to repent before judgment Came In Jonah 3:4 it says Jonah began to go into the city going a Day's Journey and he called out yet 40 days and and Nineveh shall be overthrown the people listened and repented and God spared them from destruction this shows that God gives us time to turn back to him if we repent he is merciful and will forgive us the number 40 reminds us that God uses seasons of testing to prepare us maybe you are going through a difficult time it could be a test before your blessing here's what we learn from the number 40 Noah's 40 days of rain God washes away the old to bring in the new Moses 40 years in the desert God prepares us before using us Israel's 40 Years of wandering Disobedience delays God's blessings Jesus Is 40 days of fasting we must stand firm against temptation Elijah's 40-day Journey God strengthens us when we feel weak Jesus's 40 days after Resurrection God gives us revelation after trials nineveh's 40 days to repent God gives us time to turn back to him if you are in a season of waiting testing or struggle remember this your breakthrough is coming stay faithful trust in God and when the time is right you will step into your Promised Land life is full of Seasons times of waiting times of testing times of uncertainty sometimes we ask God why is this taking so long but what we often forget is that God is never in a hurry yet he is never late if you feel like you're in the middle of a storm keep building like Noah if you're wandering in the wilderness keep trusting like Moses if you're being tempted keep standing firm like Jesus and if you're running on empty keep moving like Elijah because when God's appointed time comes nothing can stop your breakthrough the doors that were shut will open the battles you thought would never end will turn into testimonies The Waiting will make sense and when you look back you'll realize that everything God allowed Was preparing you for something greater so don't quit don't settle Don't Stop Believing your season of testing is not your final destination hold on because when God moves Everything Changes now if this teaching has blessed you subscribe stay connected and prepare your heart for what's next God is not finished with you yet yet
