2025 MOE Research Forum: Call for Submissions

Overview

  • Purpose: The 2025 MOE Research Forum seeks submissions to showcase research and professional practice, foster development of a research culture within the Ministry of Education (MOE).
  • Submission Deadline: 6 June 2025 via submission link.
  • Notification of Acceptance: Early July 2025.

Forum Details

  • Pre-Forum Events: Held at AST on 7 October 2025 (11:00 - 17:00).
  • Main Forum: Held at AST on 21 October 2025 (11:30 - 17:00).
  • Theme: "Co-Creating the Future of Education" - Focus on deepening domain expertise and collaboration across MOE divisions.

Presentation Details

  • Title of Presentation: Max 20 words.
  • Acknowledgement of Partner Institutions & Grants: List institutions and grants received.

Presentation Formats

  • Roundtable Session (Pre-Forum):

    • Duration: 60 minutes
    • Goals: Define emerging issues, innovate research approaches, extend research impact.
  • Symposium (Main Forum):

    • Duration: 80 minutes (50 min presentations, 30 min discussion)
    • Format: 2-3 presentations on a cohesive topic.
  • Concurrent Presentation (Main Forum):

    • Duration: 40 minutes (20 min presentation, 20 min Q&A)
    • Focus: In-depth discussions supported by multimedia/interactive elements.
  • Poster Presentation (Main Forum):

    • Displayed during lunch (90 min)
    • Interactive platform for networking and idea exchange.

Submission Requirements

  • Synopsis:
    • For presentations: ~200 words
    • For symposium: ~250 words
  • Contents:
    • Background, Research Objective, Methodology, Findings.
    • Impact and Utility on MOE.

Convenor and Presenter Details

  • Roundtable Session Convenors:

    • Main convenor to be from MOE.
  • Main Forum Presenters:

    • Main presenter from MOE; external presenters from SEAB/NIE.
  • Discussant:

    • Selection by SSC-RC or self-nominated.
