babelot vs over grip but there are two short then my friend suggested to me first grip one at the bottom then grip the second one from the middle just like Andy Roddick there problem solved oh thanks for uh solving the short grip problems that Babylon vs overgrip does for us I don't really carry that grip so but I would imagine that it should fit unless you are overlapping a lot and you want a thicker over grip therefore you're using a lot of it you know using a lot of it up unless you got a super long handle super long grip uh I don't know it didn't quite sound right there there Seth but um whatever works for you because usually the way I overlap I have a little extra but obviously you like it a little on the thicker side okay thank you for the coffee if you want to be my coffee sponsor of the day network is buy me a coffee dot com forward slash tennis spin link is below if you want to contribute to the channel hook us up there's a little button on the bottom called super going on um so here is the question that from Aaron Aaron writes I saw your video about most popular tennis rackets used by college players being Wilson Blade and a few others you mentioned they use a lot of lead on their rackets too where do college players tend to wait to Wilson Blade and about how many ounces I'm a four or five player using a Wilson Blade 16 by 19 version 7 and it seems too light not much plowed through I used to play with a heavier Wilson Pro Staff 97 11 1 ounces on strung but heard good things about the blades so am giving it a try I feel I have less plowed through in order to get more penetration on my shots I have to swing a lot faster with the blade than the Pro Staff opponents say they now have time to set up against me because my shards aren't as penetrating as they used to be any suggestions thanks Aaron all right Aaron so I'm actually going through this myself with my racket change I've tried to use my own racket in stock form and people have told me the same thing my racket isn't um the ball excuse me the ball is not going through the court with as much force as a matter of fact I'm actually hitting a lot more top on it and I'm hitting a lot more rainbows so I've started to add more lead into the Racket and it seems to have been kind of coming down and being more penetrating through the court so let me just suggest to you what I'm kind of doing myself at this point so this is a Wilson Blade version eight okay now depending on how you like your lead um I have tried mine in a couple different variations with and without success I thought I could just kind of do a little here right at the the uh two and ten the two and tens over here and over here and I'm covering my face right here and over here and do about six holes worth roughly five six inches worth here in here and it didn't quite work with my racket so I peeled it off and said uh that is not going to work so what did I do next well I kind of recreated the Wilson PWS do you remember the perimeter weighting system that's in your pro staffs pretty much it's just three and nine so it's just here and here about for you I would say do six holes worth what does six Holdsworth means so count the number of grommet holes there are here and do six of them so what I did was here is where the paint changes you can see that the paint changes from kind of Darker to the chameleon so I start here and then I go six holes one two three four five six so I go let it up right here right there okay so I split up a half inch I split up a half inch and go a quarter here and a quarter there and I do it on both sides that may be the trick um I'm addicted to lead and you may be too but let's start there if that doesn't work if that's not enough plow for you then go to the top go to the top and do six at the top okay do six at the top so start in the middle right and just count three both ways so roughly here to here and do the same thing okay quarter of an inch of it here quarter of an inch of it on the bottom that is where you will get your plow now if that doesn't work and you even want more plow guess where we're going after that we're actually going to go a little to the throat here just to even it out I would give it about maybe three inches to start here just go right here in half of a inch strip lead here half of an inch strip half of an half of an inch strip wide lead strip about six yeah four inches down four inches of a half strip of lead okay down here so here and here Okay so that's your road map if you want to rebalance the racket take this grip off and do about let's say four to five inches right here handle to handle okay just these two the big bevels and then you'll balance out the whole racket a little bit better all right then you'll kind of get the plow you want I feel like these stock rackets are meant to be customized so they're just kind of I don't know begging for lead definitely lead in the head but I mean at least for me and I guess for you too you kind of need it because it needs to you know you kind of have to plow dude I mean think about it if you got a light a light Racket and you know you need to drive the ball through it's not going to be as easy with a lighter racket you'll get the head speed you need but you know what's going to happen when you hit it is it gonna really penetrate I guess if you swing for the fence and swing as hard as you can um but I feel like we we need to let the racket help us a little bit more okay so I just showed you the guide map as to what to do with your blade I mean you guys can do this with any racket that you think you need to have you know the racket plowed through a little bit more okay because these are all so headlight these days I mean look at that it says seven points headlight right there and that's the four strings obviously it becomes Four Points headlight but still I mean I think they're sacrificing head speed for plow through okay all right guys I hope that helped Aaron thanks for the question try it out guys thank you for watching tennis spin where we put our spin on your tennis
