- おはようございます (Ohayou gozaimasu): Good morning
- こんにちは (Konnichiwa): Good afternoon

- 注文お願いします (Chuumon onegaishimasu): When ordering
- お会計お願いします (Okaikei onegaishimasu): When asking for the bill

- 近いですか／遠いですか (Chikai desu ka / Tooi desu ka): Asking about distance
- 並んでいますか (Narandeimasu ka): Asking if there is a line

- チャージしたいです (Chaaji shitai desu): I want to charge (e.g., a card)
- これは免税ですか (Kore wa menzei desu ka): Is this tax-free?
