Zoho Invoice Tutorial

Overview

  • Zoho Invoice allows you to create invoices, record payments, and more.
  • The video covers how to add your organization details and multiple organizations.

Signing Up for Zoho Invoice

  1. Go to the Zoho Invoice website and click the sign-up button.
  2. Enter necessary details to sign up and log in to your account.
  3. Configure your organization details on the next page.
  4. Organization name and location autofilled.
  5. Add organization address, currency, and time zone (autofilled based on location).
  6. Click 'Get Started'.
  7. You can change details later in settings if required.

Editing Organization Profile

  1. Navigate to Settings > Organization Profile.
  2. Upload Logo: Choose and upload your organization's logo.
  3. Organization Name: Autofilled, editable if required.
  4. Industry: Select appropriate industry from drop-down.
  5. Business Type: Select from drop-down.
  6. Address: Autofilled, editable for receiving payments.
  7. Primary Contact: Set during sign-up, used for customer email communication.
  8. Multiple Contacts: Add/change in 'Configure Email Preferences'.
  9. Fiscal Year: Choose appropriate fiscal year.
  10. Time Zone: Autofilled based on business location.
  11. Date Format: Choose desired format.
  12. Company/Tax ID: Display on invoice by adding details.
  13. Additional Fields: Add extra fields to your invoice.
  14. Click 'Save' to confirm changes.

Configuring Taxes

  1. Navigate to Settings > Taxes.
  2. Click 'Plus New Tax' to create a new tax.
  3. Enter tax name and rate.
  4. Mark box if it's a compound tax.
  5. Click 'Save' to confirm.
  6. Reverse Charge for Transactions: Enable in tax settings.
  7. Track Digital Services Sales: Enable in tax settings.
  8. Tax Group: Create by clicking 'Plus New Tax Group'.

Adding Multiple Organizations

  1. Click the drop-down next to your organization name and select 'Manage'.
  2. Click 'Plus New Organization'.
  3. Clone Settings: Click 'Clone' to copy settings from an existing organization.
  4. Add New Organization: In pop-up, enter organization name and select organization to clone.
  5. Choose settings to clone and click 'Save'.
  6. Switch Organizations: Click profile icon at the top right.
