Guidelines for Completing Assignment 9.5

welcome to assignment 9.5 before you start working make sure you have read modules 8 and 9. this video will not give answers or substitute for reading the module when completing any work always remember academic integrity academic integrity is doing your own work each time and every time you submit work please remember academic integrity violations may result in removal from driver's ed for this assignment some questions will have multiple parts in order to receive full credit each part of the question will need to be answered individually read the question carefully so you can reply to each part be specific in your response giving detailed and complete answers show us how well you understand what you have learned if you have trouble with a question do not worry simply read the question again to make sure you understand review the module to find additional information and if you're still having trouble ask your teacher for help teachers can help you without violating academic integrity standards now let's take a look at each question for question 1 we discuss insurance for part a list the two types of insurance required under florida's no fault law make sure you include the full name of each type of insurance for part b describe what each type of insurance covers also list the coverage amounts required at minimum for each type of insurance for question 2 we look at the word primary offense recently florida has made texting while driving a primary offense what does it mean that texting and driving is a primary offense for question 3 we look at traffic stops a traffic stop can be a stressful event it can be stressful for the driver being stopped and the officer stopping the driver for part a of question three we look at potential concerns the officer may have when approaching an unknown vehicle keep in mind for this response we're looking at concerns about the officer's safety or how the situation may play out for the officer for part b of question 3 we look at ourselves what are some things that we can do as a driver to ensure that the traffic stop goes smoothly saving up money to buy your first car can be a major life event however once the car is purchased there are additional costs that you need to consider for part a of question four identify at least three major costs of owning a vehicle throughout the year aside from the purchase cost and in part b choose one of these expenses and discuss why you believe for you it would be the most expensive our final question for module 9 is about you it's about you and your next steps for your response to question 5 and module 9 simply list what your next step is is it to get a permit to get your full driver's license or to become a better driver once you've selected what your next step is describe how you will reach that step and that's it take a moment to read over your responses be sure that each question has a response your response reflects your knowledge of course content and that you are ready to submit and then submit it after your assignment is submitted and graded your score as well as any teacher feedback is available in your gradebook simply click on the assignment and scroll down to teacher comments while it may be discouraging to miss points on an assignment in this course you have the opportunity to make corrections and resubmit your work don't miss this opportunity to maximize your grade remember your written work is your chance to shine always do your best work good luck with the assignment let us know if you need any help
