Telegram is an application that has gradually gained ground in the world of messaging. Known for its speed, security, and massive groups, it has become an alternative for those looking for something beyond WhatsApp. Here you can find everything from simple chats with friends to entire communities sharing all kinds of information, legal and not so legal. And Telegram has that duality, while for some it's a perfect tool for studying, working, or staying in touch. For others, it has become a space filled with mysterious channels, selling rare products, and even disturbing stories that few dare to tell. Today we bring you a compilation of the most curious and chilling experiences shared with us about this app. Enjoy it. I'll tell you what happened to me and why I no longer trust Telegram at all. It turns out that although many people think it's safe, the truth is that it's not that safe. By default, Telegram has access to all your group and personal conversations, unless you use Secret Chats, which are end-to-end encrypted. But be careful, these must be activated manually one by one and are only useful for one-to- one conversations. I learned this the hard way. Someone sent me a seemingly harmless file, and suddenly I started having problems with my Google and social media accounts. Even after performing a factory reset and creating new accounts, hackers kept trying to break in, as if Telegram had a magnet for your data. It's incredible how vulnerable we are without realizing it. That's why I don't download anything from Telegram now unless it comes from a trusted source. Always check the permits. Don't open strange files and, above all, only use secret chats with people you trust. It's better to spend a couple of minutes checking that your data is secure than to spend weeks troubleshooting problems that someone else caused. Really, be careful. Telegram may seem fun and useful, but the security of your information shouldn't be taken lightly. Take care of yourselves and share this with friends and family, because anyone can fall victim. Better safe than sorry. I want to tell you something about my experience with Telegram, because I always hear people say that it's super dangerous and that everything there is illegal, but it's really not that simple. As far as I've seen, you only find the murky stuff if you really look for it. Out of curiosity and because I like learning new things, I started joining groups where they share pirated courses, books, news, things that help you study, or even programs that you would otherwise have to pay for. At first I was a little scared because you hear stories of people getting into trouble, but I really realized that no one forces you to watch illegal things if you don't want to. Yes, there are groups where adult content is shared or uncensored channels. And you can also find pirated stuff , but I only saw it because I went looking for it. Nobody puts it in front of you if you don't look for it. The strangest thing I found was people selling very strange things, like pirate flowers or products I did n't even know existed. And suddenly I also saw people recommending apps and methods for doing certain things online that, if you don't know how to do them properly, can be dangerous. It's funny because sometimes it seems like a secret market. You see a channel that sells courses, another that sells books, another with news, and then you realize that there are a lot of people sharing useful information, but also some who exploit the curiosity of others to get into more shady things. A friend once told me, "Don't get involved with those groups, you 'll get into trouble." And I really wasn't convinced, but over time I understood that the key is to be careful, to not open any link that comes to you, to not download strange files and to keep your information private. I've had it happen to me that some groups offer you programs, apps, or even bots that promise incredible things, but if you don't know what you 're doing, you can make a mistake. Another thing that caught my attention is how people use Telegram for things you wouldn't even imagine. There are channels for collectors of rare items, for people who sell toys, figures, even cosplay material, all without anyone telling you it's illegal. But when you start digging deeper, you find darker things like scam tips or hacks. And I didn't do it because I'm not really interested in getting into that, but seeing it from a distance gives you chills. Experience makes you understand that Telegram is like a parallel universe within the internet. You can use it for normal, useful things, but it also has a dark side that only appears if you go looking for it. Sometimes I go there just to look at books, courses, and news, and other times I realize that there are people who use those channels for things that could get you into trouble, and that's where you have to be careful. I want to tell you something I learned the hard way using Telegram. At first I thought it was a secure app, one of those where you can chat peacefully and that's it. But I soon realized that things are not that simple. It all started when, out of curiosity, I started joining groups that shared links and interesting things, but always with my registered phone number, like everyone else . At first, nothing happened, but one day I started reading more about the app and discovered that Telegram doesn't use any address masking protocol. That is, your public IP can be seen by someone who knows the correct commands. At that moment I felt a chill. I 'm not someone important, but if someone with political or criminal interests did something similar, they could track you down. And if you also mix up your cell phone number with certain groups or links, you've already entered dangerous territory. I also learned that authorities have intervened in Telegram in the past, even arresting the creator because it didn't work. That made me think, if they did that to the founder, what would they do to someone who messes up and uses the app for serious purposes? Additionally, I learned that the app has automated systems that detect illegal content. Very heavy things like extreme violence or pornography are not shared so easily. But of course, if you're a small fish like me, you won't be bothered by an encrypted zip, a pirated course, or anything minor. What surprised me most is that there are ways to protect yourself a little. use a proxy, a VPN like Proton, or more private apps like Session that route all traffic through the network, like Cky or Thor. That did seem like a necessary level of care to me, because Telegram itself is not 100% confidential. And yes, I read that even if you're not personally investigated, automated intelligence can read everything you write, but if you're just an ordinary person, you won't have any problems. After learning all this, it became crystal clear to me. Never mix your personal information on Telegram, including your phone number, email address, or anything else that identifies you. The app is fine for certain uses, even for sharing minor things without any problems, but if you're careless, you can get into trouble without realizing it. Since then, every time I open Telegram I do so carefully, using proxies and avoiding suspicious groups. I learned that safety is not absolute and that sometimes what seems harmless can become risky. I want to tell you something that happened to me recently and that still has me on edge. I'm kind of curious about Telegram. You know, you go into groups, you see links that seem interesting, and sometimes you don't think about the consequences. Well, one day I was checking out a group that someone had just added me to and I saw a link that said something like a free download of something I wanted. I thought, "Oh, what's going to happen? It's just another link." Mistake. As soon as I squeeze it, I feel something strange happen. At first I didn't understand what it was, until I received a notification from my bank. Someone had tried to charge my card in Mendoza. Yes, literally, in another country. I was seized by a horrible panic. I didn't know what to do. Thank God, I reacted quickly and was able to contact my bank. They froze the card, canceled the charges, and managed to reverse the situation. But I swear that while I was talking to them I felt like I was going to have a heart attack. The worst thing is thinking that if I hadn't been so careful or if I hadn't been so quick, maybe my account would have been emptied or more important information stolen. Since that day I learned something that I will never forget. Never ever. They click on a Telegram link without knowing exactly where it came from. It may seem harmless, but there are very clever people who take advantage of any carelessness to commit fraud. Since then, whenever someone sends me a link on Telegram, I first investigate, check who sent it, look for opinions, and if something seems fishy, I do n't touch it. It's a painful paranoia, but I prefer that to losing money or personal data. Experience taught me that the Internet is not all about fun and curiosity. A single click can ruin your life if you're not careful. So gang, learn from my mistake. Don't click on dubious links on Telegram. What's just curiosity to you could be someone else 's next victim. We take a short break to share some important news. Some of you may already know, but this channel is run by three people, each with their own YouTube channel. We would love for you to support us by visiting our channels. Each one offers different topics that might interest you and have a good time. You'll find the links in the video description. Thank you. I've been using Telegram for almost 9 years and honestly nothing strange has ever happened to me. I know that many people believe that just by downloading the app you will start seeing videos or shady things everywhere, but the truth is different. That only happens if you look for it. If you use it to chat with your friends, read the news, watch memes, or share regular files, that's fine. I remember years ago, yes, Telegram was super popular among people who did questionable things because the security level was extremely high and people trusted it a lot. But today that has changed. It's not as easy to find groups like that anymore because admins delete them quickly. From my personal experience, Telegram is very secure and complete compared to WhatsApp, Messenger, or Instagram. It really beats it, not just in terms of design, but also in terms of all the features it has. For example, you've been able to read voice messages without listening to them for a while now, something that WhatsApp only recently started doing. Plus, everything you share, whether it's images, videos, or files, stays in its original quality, and you can use it as cloud storage, among a ton of other features I won't even mention so as not to make this endless. I, who have used a ton of messaging apps, feel that Telegram has always been one step ahead. Every time I try a new feature, I find that other apps are still halfway there, so I keep using it and have never had any issues. For me, in terms of features and settings, Telegram is number one. I'm telling you about my experience with Telegram, gang. The truth is that I came in out of curiosity. I wanted to see what was up with the app and how different it was from WhatsApp. At first I only used it to chat with some friends. Nothing unusual, but then I started exploring groups and that's where I realized something important. It all depends on what you use it for. There are some great groups of movies, series, books, all pirated. But to watch or download I found things I didn't even know existed and all without having to pay. For that, the app is wonderful. It's easy to use, fast, and you can find content that isn't even found elsewhere. But then I started to see that there were other more sophisticated groups with things that were clearly illegal. And be careful, to reach those groups you needed another app, strange links, extra permissions, nothing that someone like me, who just wanted to watch movies or series, would need. I mean, if you want to get involved in shady things, you can, but it's not that simple, and that's where the risk begins. I learned that as long as you use it for simple things, Telegram is great. You have news channels, meme channels, book channels, movie channels, even people who share free courses. But if you start looking into strange links, into groups you don't know, things change. That's when you have to be careful, because you never know who might be following you or how secure those links are. In the end the conclusion is clear. It's not that Telegram is bad or dangerous in and of itself, it depends entirely on what you're using it for. I still go in, but only for harmless things. And so far so good. I learned that curiosity doesn't have to be dangerous if you put your mind to it and use your head. I want to tell you something that happened to me and that still gives me chills when I remember it. It all started out of curiosity, nothing more. I used to have a Telegram group that focused on anime and technology, but one day, while browsing the links they shared, I ended up joining other groups that promised interesting things, according to their titles. At first everything was normal. But then I started to notice something strange. There were groups with names that had nothing to do with the actual content. And the strangest thing was that you often saw the exact same content repeated in multiple groups, as if someone was curating each group and sending the same things over and over again. What surprised me most was that the content was explicit and completely illegal. I was just coming in out of curiosity, to see how much everything was moving, but the repeated images and links made me think this wasn't something innocent. Honestly, it gave me a bad feeling. One day I received a WhatsApp message from someone who called himself a commissioner. At first I didn't believe him because I thought, "I haven't done anything wrong. This must be a scam attempt." But the strange thing is that he spoke to me in such a serious and official tone, like a real police officer . And that's when I started to feel uncomfortable. What really made me nervous was an audio recording he sent me afterwards. He called me by my full name and mentioned things that no one should know about me because I had never shared my personal information anywhere. I am very cautious about that. I always protect my accounts and avoid sites that seem dangerous to me. Then it hit me . Anyone could be taking your data without you realizing it. From that moment on I understood something important. Telegram is a place where you can find practically anything, and if you join certain pirate groups or follow dubious links, you can get into trouble without even looking for it. From that day on, I stopped snooping around in those groups because curiosity can become very dangerous. What stuck with me is that there's a side of the app that very few see and that only appears if you delve into the dark, the illegal, and worst of all, you realize that your data isn't as secure as you thought, even if you're careful. I've learned that sometimes it's better not to explore too much and that it's best to use Telegram only in safe and trusted groups where you don't have to worry about anything illegal. I want to tell you something that left me speechless about Telegram. I was reading a post where they discussed how this app has become like the new deep web. Yes, as you hear it, a place where it's easier to find dark things than on the traditional deep web. Everything moves on Telegram. Piracy, sale of illegal material, scams, thieves, and even channels with adult content and no censorship of any kind. There are even places that give you tips on how to steal or apps designed to scam you. It's amazing how easy it is to access all of this if you know how to search for it, and how dangerous it can be if you land in the wrong place. I share this with you so you can be careful. Do n't click on suspicious links or join groups you don't know, because it's a world where anything can happen. Telegram may seem fun and useful for chatting, but it's actually a space where the lines between legal and illegal become very blurred. Seriously, be aware of what you wear. Many people think it's just messaging, but behind that screen is a whole universe of things that could get you into trouble if you're not careful. Always check carefully before clicking and avoid the temptation to explore out of curiosity. Better safe than sorry. And this is where we end this video. Telegram will continue to be one of those apps that straddles the mundane and the unknown. A tool that seems harmless, but holds thousands of secrets in every group, every hidden channel, every link that you never know where it will lead you. So the next time you open Telegram, remember that not everything you read, watch, or download is real. And this is where we come to an end for this occasion.
