Aquarius moons are arguably one of the most misunderstood moon signs out there. Hola my beautiful lotus flowers, welcome back or welcome to my channel. Today is all about the Aquarius moon signs and if you're not too sure what a moon sign is then you can refer to my old video on moon signs overall for more detail but a summary is that the moon sign is basically where the moon was located in the sky at the time that you were born and what it tells us is more about our emotional nature, the deeper things that we need in life to feel fulfilled, and some of our maybe secrets that we don't really tend to tell anybody about who we are.
Whereas your sun sign is more of your egotistical nature, kind of who you are in the world, what you want in life, and how you exist in the physical realm. And then your rising sign is more so your first impressions and how you initially approach the world. We're going to start by talking about some general traits of somebody who has an Aquarius moon sign and then we're going to move on to talk about some of these secret emotions and desires that Aquarius moon sign may deal with in life and then we'll finish off talking about what an Aquarius moon sign needs to feel fulfilled so be sure you stay tuned for that first let's talk about the general traits of somebody who has an Aquarius moon sign first it's important to know that Aquarius is the fixed air sign ruled by Uranus co-ruled by Saturn and symbolized by the water bearer all All of these traits are important, but an Aquarius rising, sun sign, and moon sign will display all of them differently.
So I'm about to break down each one and how this fits into an Aquarius moon's life. The co-rulership between Uranus and Saturn make this person someone who is naturally open-minded and innovative, especially in regards to society, humanity as a whole. Uranus is actually the planet of awakening and breaking boundaries and radical change, whereas Saturn tends to be...
be the more karmic planet that has to do with traditions, rules, and limitations in life. What this means is that this person having an Aquarius moon is going to care a lot emotionally about the greater good of humanity and society as a whole or just in their daily lives. They're going to be oftentimes looking at the bigger picture rather than getting caught up in their own little trivial internal feelings.
So whether they're facing a smaller situation in their daily life, or a way bigger life-changing situation then their mental and emotional process is going to naturally follow the route that is more off the beaten path they're going to take the road less traveled when it comes to how they process things and how they want to approach certain emotional situations in their lives in comparison someone with maybe a water moon or a fire moon may become quickly overwhelmed by their own emotions to a situation. Someone makes them upset or angry. A lot of times the water or fire moon signs are going to react more recklessly or feel emotions more recklessly or jump to conclusions because they can't help but react that way. Whereas someone with an Aquarius moon is going to really, like I said, look at the bigger picture and not get caught up in just what they feel temporarily in the short term. Second, the moon in a fixed time will make this person highly dedicated.
committed, and sometimes stubborn or prideful when it comes to something they're passionate about. Although Aquarius moons are naturally more open-minded and progressive in the way that they process thought and emotion, they are still a fixed sign. And fixed means that they tend to have more of a stubborn, committed, loyal nature to them. And so in this way, Aquarians will become very fixated on something that they care passionately about, whether that's a good or a bad thing.
Now that is isn't necessarily to say that they become closed off to other people's opinions or perspectives or feelings. This just means that even if they are willing to still have an open dialogue with people about a situation that they feel strongly about, most likely they're still going to resort to how they feel and follow that feeling no matter what anybody tells them. Third, having the moon in an air sign, especially Aquarius, means this person will tend to intellectualize emotions.
I was allowing them to be more objective with their feelings rather than purely reactive. As long as the Aquarius moon doesn't become too cold-shouldered toward a situation, then this can be a really good thing. Oftentimes, they'll be able to maintain kind of a third perspective, an outer perspective. like on the outside looking in on situations. They'll be able to really keep more of a neutral position towards a lot of situations rather than just completely reacting off of what they feel.
This also means that they won't ever really come off being too concerned about anything. Now whether they are actually concerned about something is a different story, but if they show that to you that's not really a common sighting because they tend to think so so intellectually and mentally about the things they go through emotionally or emotional situations they face then a lot of times they don't want to showcase this to people they don't really like to put those emotions on display they'd rather just keep them inside and process them and work through them themselves and they're definitely the type who if you ask them about a situation that you think should be bothering them then they may even play it off with humor or witty wittiness. And this is definitely one of the reasons that Aquarius moons have a reputation for being very cold and detached, even though it's not necessarily the case. It's just how they tend to come off because of how they carry their emotions. Fourth, Aquarius moons display the water bearer through their tendency to observe and think about their surroundings, always aiming to figure out what's happening in their environment in an attempt to make it better.
The water bearer is the constellation for Aquarius. And it symbolizes an Aquarian's need to water society or humanity in some way. That's why it's called the water bearer, because they're the one that's pouring water on everybody and essentially growing these seeds into beautiful plants. So although Aquarius moons tend to shy away from overly emotional situations and don't like to become overly involved in those types of situations, they are always kind of observing and seeking a way to better. the situation at hand.
So in their everyday lives, they're always kind of looking for a way to make their environment better and improve it in a positive way, not just for themselves, but for everybody around them. Alright, now let's talk about some deeper secrets, emotions, and desires that Aquarius moon might experience. First, it's common for this moon sign to have trouble connecting to other people on a deeper level, leading them to often feel lonely. Now, it may seem ironic because, again, their constellation is the water bearer and this represents their need to water people and society in some way, right? But what we find with a lot of significant Aquarius placements...
is a kind of paradoxical thing where they have like a detached attachment. A detached attachment. It's like they're able to not become overly invested in things and that's one of the things that helps them think so rationally and be so rational and actually improve. surroundings instead of being fueled solely by their selfish motives. But at the same time, they are also attached to things in the way that they do want to have this human interaction.
They do want to have these close friends. and these people that they can go to because naturally Aquarians require this this closer human interaction because that's what they naturally want to do is they want to water people around them. That's what I mean by this weird detached attachment and because they're also so eccentric in the way that they approach situations especially emotional ones and they kind of don't really know how to lower themselves and speak normally and I don't mean this offensively to the Aquarius moon but it can be hard for them to kind of come down to earth a bit more and talk normally with somebody about their emotions or whatever that's uncomfortable for an Aquarius moon a lot of times second adding on to the previous point not only can they feel lonely but they are often greatly misunderstood by others as well like I said before because it can be really hard for Aquarius moons to find people who really understand their abstract but mental process and their abstract emotions and just their eccentric way of being, it can be hard to find people to connect to them on a deeper level who actually share their odd interests and share their eccentric way of thinking or way of life. Because there's this weird disconnect in everyday interactions for a lot of Aquarius moons and they can't really find people, a lot of people with that deeper emotional connection for them, then what happens is a lot of people think that they're like these distant, cold weirdos, and maybe even sometimes know-it-alls, because Aquarius moons can tend to be quite intelligent and maybe sometimes give a know-it-all vibe, even though they don't mean to.
This is how a lot of people may misjudge them, even though Aquarius moons usually have really good, kind-hearted intentions towards everyone around them. Actually, because of this reason and because it's hard to connect to people on a one-to-one physical personal level, then they may find that they meet a lot of people easier virtually, you know, through social media and through online whatever. We have so many virtual things these days, virtual gaming, all of that. And a lot of Aquarius moons and significant Aquarius placements in general may find that this is how they best make friends. friends because they're not being misjudged.
They're not being, you know, because in person you see somebody's demeanor and you tend to kind of collect the judgment in your head off of their demeanor. Online you don't get that. All you get is purely the verbal interaction.
So you're connecting, the Aquarius moon is able to directly connect the best way that they know how when it's done virtually. Third, despite most Aquarius moons having good intentions, there is still a possibility of this placement becoming stuck on a whole other planet. Everything we've talked about prior to this point about Aquarius moons having this detached attachment to things and not knowing how to find people who really love their odd interests and deeper thinking and so on and so forth, what happens is you may find some Aquarius moons that completely remove themselves from reality in a way and this is definitely not a healthy thing to try and remove yourself from reality and Just like how this actually even amplifies the point I made about connecting to people virtually This is a huge way that Aquarius moons can remove themselves from reality They can be decide to consume themselves in this virtual world where they feel people understand them and they feel people can really connect to them through there and before you know it, they are not making true physical connections anymore and they're really isolating themselves and in the long term this is definitely unhealthy.
If we're talking about an Aquarius Moon that really doesn't know how to process their emotions and really work through them, then they might try to fill that void that they feel, that that disconnect and that detachment that they feel. They may try to fill that that hole through changing something. through changing their hair, through changing how they dress, their makeup, through their environment, maybe changing jobs, maybe changing how their home looks, whatever it may be, they may try to do something that may make other people who know them look at them and be like, what the heck? Like they never dressed like that or they were never like that. they want to do something different to fill that void.
Even though I'm using this as an example for an unhealthy way to cope, it can also be a healthy way to cope. But if it's something they're doing as a distraction, then that's when it's unhealthy. Now let's talk about what an Aquarius moon needs in life to feel fulfilled.
First and foremost, having a sense of independence and freedom is highly important to them. Again, with their Uranus influence, they take extreme pride in their unique ways and they want nothing more than to just bask in their individuality. So if an Aquarius moon feels like an environment or a person or something is keeping their individuality and their freedom caged, then this is something that is going to make the Aquarius moon very unhappy. And if you're an Aquarius moon in a situation like that, know that you need your freedom and individuality to a certain extent as much as as much as society can allow because obviously you know you might have a job or whatever and you can't just do whatever you want but realize that maybe that's not the best type of job fit for you maybe there's a better one or maybe you have friends who are overbearing they get mad when you want your space and you're like no that's just how i am maybe you need different friends second They need to be part of something progressive and bigger than themselves to feel fulfilled and happy. Again, Aquarius moons have that natural humanitarian instinct that a lot of significant Aquarius placements have.
So they have almost a complete need and desire to be working with something that seems like it's moving society forward and progressing humanity in a positive way. Even if it's just something smaller. On a day-to-day basis, Aquarius moons need to be seeing some type of positive progress in their lives to feel happy. Third, they absolutely need good, committed, personal relationships.
Although the Aquarius moon can tend to disassociate from others unintentionally, they are still... A somewhat sociable air sign at their core that needs that mental interaction. And I'm not saying that they tend to be very extroverted.
I mean, they can be. Again, we're not talking about the other placements. But they do need those close, trusted relationships.
Especially when this is a moon sign that tends to be very concerned about the well-being of others or the big picture. and helping everybody's long-term goals around them. They almost have a little bit of a parental nature to them in that way to where they want to have their own group too.
