Volleyball 5-1 Rotation Setup
General Setup Principles
Lineup Order
: Center, outside, middle, right side, outside, middle.
Right side is opposite of the center.
Outsides are opposite each other.
Middles are opposite each other.
Libero Role
: Typically replaces the middle in the back row.
Serve 1 and Serve Receive 1
Serve 1
The setter serves.
Front row stacks on the middle.
Players transition to defense as soon as the ball is touched by the server.
Key Positions:
Middle, right side, outside players transition to defensive positions immediately.
Serve Receive 1
Return to original positions for the first rotation.

:
Drop the front row outside back.
