week here it's Wednesday hey we are back with another episode of our GovCon cheat codes university for dollars to podcast edition today we're going to be talking about government contracts under $250,000 and why I believe that most of you guys should be looking towards those if you're just getting started out in this industry um the biggest thing to me is they're easier to win you're gonna get paid faster and it's a great way to get your foot in the door especially uh you know with all of the stuff that we got going on with the current administration we want to figure out how we can get our businesses and our names uh in the right position so we can start you know making a statement for ourselves and you know once you start doing good work uh you start managing the money correctly it's like a trickle in effect okay uh you know people start trusting you more and again under $250,000 is a great way uh to get you involved in there so I'm going to be showing you that here today so make sure that you guys hit that like button hit that subscribe button share this live feed out right now not later shared out right now with three other entrepreneurs business owners that you know need to get involved with government contracting and most importantly need to hear and get educated exactly on how to do this thing the right way before we get rolling here make sure you let us know where you are tuning in from whether you're watching live or on replay always take it as an opportunity to network with somebody and don't forget to put in those comments not just where you're tuning in from but I am a millionaire remember it starts with you if you don't believe that you can be a millionaire well it'll never happen we are live here Tuesday through Thursday at 8:30 p.m as Tuesdays we go over the mindset and business and uh investing on Wednesdays we go over government contracting on Thursdays we dive into systems and tools that can help all small businesses grow if you have any questions about stuff that I go over anything government contract related period well now's your time to shine feel free to ask your questions in the chat and by all means I make sure that I answer those while I while I am here on our live feed let's get ready to get this party started man see if I can change my screen here and I ain't have a lot to put in the dropdown because I more so want to dive into looking at these contracts here so as you guys may or may not know we do have the software SB MoneyFlow that enables you to run and operate your whole business honestly it really doesn't matter what you want to do but I do try to uh educate you guys on becoming consultants i do believe that uh you know the easiest way to get rolling is to have a consultant mindset when approaching government contracting and the reason why I say have a consulting mindset when approaching government contracting is because now you'll understand you know I have multiple ways of executing things so for instance you may come across an opportunity that's a couple million dollars and you know it's asking for things like past performance and stuff of that nature and you don't quite have the past performance to do those contracts at this moment and you'll see in there that they don't allow you to use any teams or subcontractors past performance and you don't have time to do a joint venture or anything of that nature so it may behoove you to consult to a company that already knows how to do this stuff and then you know you take your retainer and you take possibly a percentage of the base option year of that contract and what you'll notice guys some of my best money has been made as a consultant uh because here's the thing let's take for instance what has happened to me i've lost over $4.5 million in contracts that have been cancelled that we already won and we were working on now if I win the contract I have to see the contract through for five years in order to get all my money whereas a consultant helps me win the contract that takes me five years to get all my money the consultant is going to get their money 30 days after we win this contract and they were already getting a retainer as well but the percentage yes they're not going to make anywhere near as much as me but they're going to get their money off that base option year that first year and then they don't care about what happens um for the next four years that's on you the reason why I like this is because you can go get 10 15 20 deals done with other companies as a consultant and before you know it you're making more than the companies uh that have to wait for 5 years to get paid so as I teach you this information yes I'm teaching you about how to get contracts for yourself but honestly your consultant hat should come on too at the same time now we could start to look at opportunities and not say "Hey this isn't something that I can't do." But instead uh this is something that I got a network that can do and I got to figure out how to put the pieces together so we can go out there win the opportunity and everybody can make money and go home happy you'll often hear something in this industry called like uh head hunters um these are very highric consultants that come in and charge a whole lot of money okay a whole lot of money uh you may hear the head hunters for people who find subject matter experts to work on things but same thing in the consultant space you know they are able to make a whole lot of money cuz they got relationships on the government side they got relationships on the private sector side that I can bring three four companies to the table that never knew each other they never knew past performance and things of that nature as the consultant because I know all four companies uh and they trust me i can sit them down at a table and they can go execute that's the power of uh being a consultant so again hopefully some of this stuff uh kicks into your head as we go through this and you know you're looking through the system and strategizing what is best for you to multiply your money uh when it comes to government contracting all right so this is our system SB Money Flow we'll go over this tomorrow in more detail uh but we're going to log in here as we done and we're actually going to come down here to our GovCon marketplace once we go over here to our GovCon marketplace this is where we can find all of our government contracts all of our grants this is where we could do all of our research uh whether it's contract officers who are purchasing this is where we can research and find other companies to work with uh but we can find all state federal and local government contracts as well as grants right here in the system so that's what we're going to focus on here today i told you under $250,000 so what I'm going to do here is we're going to stick to the federal side of the house for today but if you wanted to go state and local you just click here and follow the same steps but once we get here let me see if I can zoom in here so you guys can see a little bit more and don't forget if you guys got questions about anything that I'm going over feel free to ask them in the chat and I will get to them here eventually all right so we're going to go to contracts once I click on contracts we're going to change the filter here i want active opportunities all right and then I'm going to come down here and I'm going to look for the value range all right and I'm going to actually change this to uh anything under $10,000 now we're going to start here under $10,000 a lot of you guys have been following me hopefully a lot of you guys are are actively involved with a government contract and if a project is under $10,000 now I I started this off and I said the reason why uh I want to teach you guys about you know things under $250,000 is because uh you're going to get paid faster okay uh they can directly award it to you and it's easier to get it done but under $10,000 does anybody know what type of deal that would be considered in the government contracting space there's a term for opportunities under $10,000 uh it's a way that they purchase just a hint put it in the comments what is it under $10,000 uh the reason why these are so good for you to take a look at and um why you should be taking a look at the opportunities under $10,000 what's that term called drop it there in the chat and I'll check on it in a minute but under $10,000 here we just filtered out we looked at active opportunities you can see the deadline right here but we got uh 3800 opportunities out there that are active under $10,000 so again when people are talking about government's not spending money um there's no opportunity for me I really don't listen to those individuals too much and the problem is they don't have software i'm just going to tell you straight up they have absolutely no software uh they didn't want to make the investment into bettering themselves and I just don't know i I don't understand how you can stay in this space and you know you don't have a a a system of support here especially in today's time that's why we got SB Moneyful because you can set up automations you can do your email campaigns you can keep yourself organized through the CRM but again it gets harder it gets extremely difficult uh when you're just utilizing your notes or Microsoft Word or something and SAM.gov and this is what I've noticed why most companies don't stick around when it comes to government contracting but here with 3,800 opportunities under $10,000 I mean you just like to me you shouldn't be losing um you should only be winning now uh the kicker to the under $10,000 ones is this they should be able to use a credit card to purchase it right so if you put in a quote because you're probably not going to be writing a proposal you're probably going to be submitting a quote for things that are under $10,000 uh once they award it to you I mean it's a credit card spend and I told you you'll get paid faster opposed to going through all of these systems and things that you need to do uh when it comes to proposal side of the house uh you win right now um no competition directly awarded and you can go off to the races now the other thing that I would do here uh is to go down to my nakes code and I would change this due date here all right so I do the date do cuz we got to put pressure on ourselves that is the other issue that I see with a lot of you guys is you don't put pressure on yourself and what I mean by pressure is we need to find opportunities that's due in like the next 30 days right you don't need to look at opportunities that are available 7 8 months out and you ain't never won a government contract a day in your life uh usually the longer the opportunity is away the bigger the ticket is going to be so if you're looking at an opportunity that's six months away a year away I mean that bad boy better be in the millions or else you're wasting time to me you're you're about to create an excuse of why government contracting is not working for you opposed to you should have been looking at opportunities that's due the next 30 45 60 days max once you get past 60 I mean you're about to get into the land of excuses if you have never won government contracts before and I I I say if because uh yes you should have a proper pipeline built that has opportunities 30 days out 60 days out 90 days out all the way up to about two years out uh but you know if you're not built for that right now you ain't got no systems in place you ain't got no back office you don't really know HR like that you shouldn't be thinking about opportunities that far out we got to get you in the game right now so we're going to change this to look you know of course I did about uh 50 days or whatn not out right now but 30 days to put pressure on yourself so as you can see I told you those under $10,000 opportunities they're usually like ready to go right now they're not something to prolong so matter of fact we're just going to do 30 days out and we have 3,100 active opportunities uh the other thing that I could possibly put on here is my NAKES code and you know we're trying to just filter stuff out guys because uh you really you you shouldn't be looking at 3100 opportunities right this is the whole purpose of the filters um so you can filter things out another one that I like to use once you get logged into the system and you're registered on SAM.gov we can actually come here to experience and as you can see it put my company in there already so it's going to pull uh all of the information that when you set up your sam.gov profile uh it's going to best match based off of that now I could actually uh take my company out of here right here and I could put another company in so I could take that out and you know I could put like Booze Allen in here right and now it'll find best matches for that company which again this is to help you consult man can you just imagine how fast you can find government contracts for other companies just by doing what I just showed you right here but anyways let me put my own company back up here uh cool all right right so now that we got through there still loading the opportunities that are available for me so I got 55 opportunities that should fit my roundhouse of what I've put into my profile right here so now I can see you know we got 8A opportunities now I'll tell you guys another strategy that you should be doing uh because the AA is still active i haven't heard that they're going to be cancelling the AA program or anything of that nature so we're still going to operate uh like it's working right now you should not get a AA certification until you start winning government contracts and you will find out a point that you should get into the ADA program with that said though if you're really going to be doing government contracting you should have in the back of your mind right now that I'm getting in that AA program and part of your strategy should be aligning yourself to enter that program and the best way to align yourself is you utilizing like my consulting method i should find companies that are about to graduate the ADA program in the next three years and I should try to align myself with one of those companies and I don't just want a company that has the ADA certification and I'm looking for companies that have the ADA certification and they have work already utilizing the ADA program because what I'm going to try to do is help them win more AA contracts within those three years and introduce them to contracts that's not in the AA program because they're about to graduate and they need to transition to another space of where they're getting government contracts but not in the ADA house or private sector contracts right so that's how I'm going to approach them and the reason I'm doing this is because I need to become a part of their exit plan when they hit year nine in that program and they graduate I need them to roll their current ADA contracts over to me now what do I mean by this they can continue to work on those same contracts that they had as long as they don't have 51% or more of the contract so what's going to happen is on year nine okay I'm going to enter the ADA program when they go to graduate and they can't obtain those contracts they're going to become my team i'm going to keep 51% they're going to have 49% or lower but trust me they would much rather have 49% of something that they can't obtain anymore they would much rather have 30% of something that they can't obtain anymore and you can be their exit strategy and now you walk yourself into that ADA lane just like this and you immediately start making money in the AA program and now your trajectory of mastering the ADA program for the nine years that you're in there is just to a whole another level because when you entered it you didn't enter it like most people who just go get the AA certification and they don't know what to do next so when you utilize our software here you should have in the back of your mind of putting together a 8 A strategy but anyways because I am in the AA program that is why it is showing me these opportunities i'm not really going to take a look at those because you guys aren't in it sources sought these are not contracts this is the government looking for a source out there can somebody provide this service or these products to us if you respond to this it doesn't mean we're actually going to do the contract but by you responding to this you may be the only person that respond or you know I like to use the rule of two that they got out there so what do I mean by this this is why it's great to be in a group if you guys have not gotten into a group yet I want you guys to come right here and go to travisnose.com okay and I want you to come down here go to join pure money community for free so you can utilize what I'm about to tell you now if I was like a womanowned company or ADA or whatnot and I see a sources sought here I'm going to reach out to another womanowned company and we're both going to respond to this opportunity here and I'm probably even going to help them respond to this opportunity here the reason why I'm doing this is because I want this to come out well I'm hoping that it can get direct awarded but part of the game of government contracting is working a strategy you know utilizing the rules that they put in place so you don't have competition so by having two or more womenowned companies respond to this well they need to put it out as a womanowned opportunity and now if you were truly the only womanowned company looking at this because your home girl that got a womanowned company she ain't really looking at it but she responded to it uh because you helped her out there well now it comes out women owned you're the only womenowned company looking at it well you're your own competition see how that works but once again you could possibly get it direct awarded so these are just strategies now I would not put all of my eggs in a basket for sources sought the reason why I told you it's not a contract this is just a strategy to get your name out there same thing with RFIs requests for information they're not contracts they're strategies to get your name put out there they can possibly turn into contracts but I would not focus on this stuff i put a sprinkle of it into you know my objective of how I'm operating moving forward and boom after that maybe I respond to one or two a month uh but my main responses are going to be solicitations you know where the money is i don't like to play around with things that don't make money and you shouldn't either because we need money ain't nobody got time to be doing this stuff all day long same thing with presolicitations okay presolicitations is just saying "Hey you know we got some information that could be coming out." So take a look at this right this was a pre-solicitation right here imagine if you took all of your time working and paying attention to this presolicitation just to find out on 47 2025 that this RFQ is cancelled so could you imagine playing around with this stuff all day long like and I be hearing people's strategy i'm answering pre-solicitations and I'm answering sources thought so it can be cancelled like so you just wasted time even if you did respond to it it's cancelled nobody's thinking about you anymore so this is why we're not going to put a whole lot of time uh behind RFIs sources thoughts and um presolicitations okay as you can see a lot of this stuff is just source of sorts all right so we got a solicitation here air Force transaction for a prototype for consortium solicitations oh another thing too whether you guys know it or not with government contracting they're consolidating a lot of this stuff in the GSA schedules okay so I'm not saying that the stuff under 250,000 is going to fall on a GSA schedule but it is important that everybody in this industry start learning about GSA schedules if you don't know about GSA schedules you're not going to last long in the federal government space okay i'm strictly talking about federal government it's important uh to understand those GSA schedules right there before I keep going I seen some questions popping in the chat let me answer those i put a bed in on a tugboat service contract for 130k i used chatbt to get the quote instead of calling the sub that was stupid uh so the co called me with the captain on the ship in the three-way and I realized they were going to reward me the contract so I called the sub and asked him to give me a quote and I was 30k less than his price and I called another sub they said they didn't have the capacity yeah that was extremely stupid of what you did i I I never taught you to do anything like that i don't think you're in any of my programs i don't know who taught you to do something like that but that is the absolute worst thing that you could have ever done and now you're seeing exactly why it's the absolute worst thing that you could have ever done how can you submit a bid in now we're talk we're talking money now how can you tell somebody else what they're going to charge that's is that's essentially what you did this is why Look it hurts my heart that these fools are on the internet telling you guys you could do chat GPT and government contracting and stuff like that and you just can go to chat GPT and AI and let it come up with your bids and your quotes that is stupid and I hate to say it like that but somebody got to slap you in the back of the head for making that stupid mistake right there okay and it Hey we've all done stupid things it's part of business but this one I I don't know what to tell you you can never ever submit a quote and you don't know what your subcontractor is going to charge so now you're trying to tell the subcontractor "This is the price that I want you to come in at." You don't get to justify how much it costs for me to do work for my company that's why it was stupid you always have to get the pricing from everybody that's going to be involved in this project whether it's yourself it's your teammate or joint venture whatever i need other people's pricing so I know what to put on the bid you just set yourself up i I don't know what to tell you you're probably not if somebody's telling you it's 30k more you're not you're not going to find another subcontractor cuz the market itself is telling you can't nobody do this for 30k less it's impossible so your best bet you going to have to call that contract officer and let them know the truth that you can't handle it you know don't sign no papers that's the thing too don't don't you sign no papers that you accept i hope you didn't sign no papers man sheesh guys don't ever make that mistake do not do that you got to watch out for these people on the internet man they're guiding you guys completely wrong um ADA never heard of that i look into it i think I need to set up a new business structure for contracts uh no you shouldn't have to set up a new business structure for government contracts uh I'm not sure what you got going on but as long as that business is registered in SAM.gov guys nobody can tell you what your business can and can't do you're the one who's telling your business what it can and can't do uh if you name your com company something transportation well you kind of just told us all you do is transportation but if you got a generic name like my company Malmar who are you to tell me what Malmar can or cannot do malmar could do construction today we could drive trucks tomorrow uh we could clean buildings next week uh we could go to the moon i mean nobody in this rightful world can tell me what my company is capable of doing because at the end of the day I'm going to hire individuals to do the work they're going to work under my company and they're going to go execute so you can't tell me that my company can't do something when the personnel who know how to do it work for me and if you don't believe that this is possible well why is it that Amazon is doing a whole bunch of other stuff you know I thought they just sold books but they actually have AWS going on they got data centers all over the place they got the newspaper going on i mean they're all over so uh if they can do it why can't you you know Booze Allen Lockheed Martin they be out here building defense missiles and airplanes and uh grenades and guns but they also do it they do construction you know we're the only ones who be telling ourselves what we can't do because the problem is this when we look at business you're supposed to be a business owner not a entrepreneur when we're getting in the government contracting space and I'll tell you the difference right here cuz I was both at one point but I am a small business owner now i got out of being an entrepreneur a entrepreneur thinks about what their hands can do all the time or what their brain can get their hands to do so when you go to look at work everything is me me I I I that's the life of a entrepreneur i need to make $150,000 i need to make a million dollar i need to pay attention to the stuff that I know how to do well eventually at some point you're gonna burn yourself out and hopefully switch over to a business owner a business owner starts thinking what pieces can I bring to the table to execute on that project where I'm going to make my profit when things get done well now I need employees i need a payroll i need to understand HR i got a legit business going on and if I have a business going on that has employees it's what is the capacity of my employees what are they capable of doing if you want to do it stuff you bring in IT employees you put them together at a table and say this is the project that you all are going to work on and just like that you can go execute IT projects with your company not with your hands that is the difference between being an entrepreneur and a business owner unfortunately a lot of people are teaching you guys on the internet how to be entrepreneurs because they're entrepreneurs selling you courses and hustling and things of that nature they don't really have a real business in place and you guys can see the results the entrepreneur and set my man up and had him submit a invoice with chat GPT man I can use any LLC as registering yes you can use the LLC registered on sam.gov all right anyways let's get back over here program training support for the army see something like this i like this when you guys look at stuff like uh that's a source of thought so we ain't going to look at that um electro magnetic battle matter of fact let me take off my criteria of my company see if I can find something a little more simpler for you guys um we're going to change this right here too opportunity type all right and we're going to do those two right there let that formulate guys once again all of this is done inside of our software SB Money Flow so we got 17 opportunities that are out here right now under $10,000 uh install 82 nipper drops so these are network drops whether you guys know it or not actually not that hard takes a lot of running of cables 82 is quite a bit um I need to see exactly where they would be at but it could be simple uh because I could run you know 20 to one location and I can knock 20 out in no time but this is why it would be important to do like site visits so something like this right the response is due in a day i don't have time um like I wouldn't bid on this because I haven't I haven't looked at the uh building like I don't know the true scope so now I can't give the price right i can't I can't price this bad boy and say that it's going to cost $150,000 and then I get in there and find out I got to run cables for five miles like oh wait a minute the price that I gave you was going to cost me in cables alone it ain't even going to be the price of labor and I just cheated myself out because I didn't give myself enough time to actually go look at this opportunity and it's in Hawaii if I read it correctly by just looking at it so that means you going to have to get on a plane and if you got multiple people that you need to work on this project all of them got to get on a plane you got to put them in a hotel you got to factor in all of those costs right there or maybe you could find a company that's already located in Hawaii that you know you can tap into you could take three or four people that are on their staff or three or four people that they know how to do the project convert them over to your company to work for your company and now they can go out and execute the project and you could let the company in Hawaii be the subcontractor and part of their role would be monitoring the situation that's going on over there so those are things that you could take a look at but uh Hawaii uh I don't tell you guys I wouldn't pay attention to that one for now all right i didn't sign any papers good don't sign no papers you call that you call that contract officer and let them know that you cannot perform this opportunity make something up um tell them tell them that the uh you know with everything going on um pricing changed and you're not you're not capable of handling this opportunity but don't you sign them papers find yourself in a world of hurt man who I want to ask you who told you to do that did some did you did you read that somewhere who who told you to go to chat GPT and do that we going to get some name dropping going on around here cuz uh whoever told you to do that is dangerous and others need to know or maybe you was just watching videos and did it on your own but if you was watching videos what video did you watch and somebody told you to go on chat GBT and get the pricing and just submit it i want to know because somebody is wrong letting you go down there right termite removal come on now i found one all right we could do termite removal let me pull it up here all right so we got termite removal this is something This is something that we could do right and this is something that you ain't got to go "Well Travis our company don't do." Man do you know how many companies that came around to your house talking about termites trying to get you to spray stuff for $100 or whatnot you better start tapping into them or you better get on YouTube and find out what is the best termite solution like don't give me an excuse of why you cannot do this termite removal well they say removal so they must got termites already you better know somebody who can remove termites this ain't termite prevention this is termite removal so it sound like they already got uh termites oh man he said "Nah ain't nobody teach me that just trial and error." Oh yeah that's a bad trial and error that you did right there um guys don't ever use and this is a myth that got busted today ai cannot help you win contracts ai will set you up in contracts so technically you know I take it back technically AI did help him win the contract but he won in the absolute worst way all right don't don't do that no more especially when it comes to pricing now what you should have did you should have had SB Money Flow right and you could have came right on over here to labor pricing you could have opened this bad boy up and then you could have put in here you know whatever that labor category that you was working on i don't what' you say uh I don't know you said something about boat I believe but bot b a t all right um and a captain or whatnot again I would have to captain see I I I would have to know what the labor category is for whatever you was looking for but the moral of the story you could put that labor category in here and then you could get an understanding of okay well that's the price of the person that's going to work the average is 115 an hour uh the project is going to take 280 hours a year i can multiply that by 280 hours and now I know what the cost would be for average captain uh but maybe you know captains is of a shortage so I need to look at the higher ballpark range instead of the median uh and then I would factor that in and you can utilize this to help you out with the pricing but by all means I still even with this system in place I still am not going to submit a bid without knowing how much the subcontractor or my partners are going to charge me i need them to tell me that on paper so I'll give you a trick you know how you guys submit a quote on different things not just government contracting but you submit a quote or you may receive a quote for somebody and they tell you it's good for 30 days well that's what I need with my subcontractors i need them to submit me the quote of how much they're going to charge me to do X Y and Z and I'm going to try to make them say it's good for 60 days so now I know exactly how much the price is for what not and now I can submit the bid comfortably with my markup on top of what they had and understand that when I win that contract I know exactly uh the fees for everything that's about to happen right there all right anyways let's get back over here to Termite so you can see we have a response deadline of April 16th this is with the air combat command and DoD uh so you would be looking at these NAKES codes this PSC codes remember for NAKES codes NAKES codes I use a grocery store right the NAKES code and the PSC code it's like a grocery store you walk into the grocery store you look up in the aisle it tells you aisle 1 through 15 and it has different categories of food on the aisle well that's what a NAKES code is to me the NAKES code is so I can look up in the aisle and find out where your products or service lie in the aisle the PSC code is the barcode to the actual product or service that's in the aisle so you know once you get in the aisle you see the can of tomatoes you flip it over it's got the barcode and all the can of tomatoes is located right here and all the barcodes are situated in this one location that's how a PSC code goes but I will warn you when looking at the PSC code in the next code every every agency don't go down the same aisle to purchase the same products and services so you do need to keep that in mind the army may be on aisle 10 for your products and services while the department of justice is on aisle 12 so you need to pay attention to this type of stuff and that's where research comes into place i see this is in Arizona it's too hot for me to be in Arizona so I personally ain't about to be playing with no termites but I know some people who will this is supposed to be under $250,000 which I could imagine we can get in and out on this now as you can see I got all the documents right here but here is where our AI comes into play okay once again all of this is at SB MoneyFlow i'll actually put the link in the chat https semicolon/sbmoneyflow.com you can get yourself registered and sign up for our tool right now so you're not using chat GPT anymore but now I can come down here to our AI launch this bad boy and what happens is now I have all the documentation that the government has put for this opportunity is now all in here so now I can talk to the AI strictly about this opportunity and nothing else all right so now I can say "Hey uh pull out the so what exactly do I need to do right now it's going to go ahead and pull all of that information out so I can get a better understanding of what it is that I want to do now I've showed you guys in previous videos I may say something of the nature of help me write a email that I could send off to potential teammates that disclose the information of uh who the potential customer is that we're trying to work with instead just the work that needs to be performed now I can send it and don't have to worry about somebody noticing who the customer is on the government side and potentially taking this stuff from me all right so now we got right here general services we need to exterminate subterranean termites ain't never heard of them it sound painful in buildings 23552 blah blah blah each approximately 7,300 square ft that is pretty big uh use only state approved pesticides so you need to make sure you got that bait stations are not acceptable so I'm imagine little uh stuff to put on the floor you can't use that include the chemical type in the quote for government review and approval so we need to know that um use nonreellent uh termites as per armed forces pest management board technical guide see this is why you know if you're in your industry you know what all this stuff mean right this ain't my industry but uh just because it ain't my industry don't mean I ain't giving myself enough time that I can't go look all this up and figure out what the heck they talking about so for permits and um compliances you need to acquire necessary permits uh manifest and meet environmental and safety requirements so like me I don't have that so immediately in my mind I know in order to execute on this contract I need to find a company that have these permits insured pest applicator is a state of Arizona certified applicator and structural pesticide applications i probably if I wanted to do this because it's under 250,000 I should find a company that already does this in Arizona so I could just make this whole process 10 times easier and faster um site preparation coordinate work dates and times with the project point of contact prepare the site documentation provide two copies of maintenance manuals or warranty documents upon completion ensure warranties for termite control blah blah blah which we should have personnel and safety provide a contract manager who could be you um comply with whatever that is fire protection or OSHA provide all necessary safety equipment environmental protection security provide a list of employees that's going to be working on site because this is DoD um they're probably going to have to be able to go through a basic background check um comply with all traffic and security regulations on the base so ain't no speeding out there uh utilities and work areas keep work areas clean blah blah blah great all right now pull out the scoring factors to win this contract now I didn't look it could just be a quote that they want so it may not even technically be a proposal so it may not even be scoring but again I'm just utilizing the AI the evaluation criteria for awarding the contractor outline technical capabilities the service offered must meet the government's required the evaluation will assess technical capabilities cool price uh the offers quotation will be all right so it's a quote and as you can see they don't really have uh like really big uh evaluation factors like if I was doing some of my IT stuff uh the evaluation factors is much more deeper than this but since it's just a quote they're really looking for best price technically acceptable all right and I say best price technically acceptable i'm going say that again best price technically acceptable i didn't say lowest price i said best price technically acceptable so maybe your warranty is a little better than the other person's and your price is higher than theirs but you know when I weigh out the warranty and things of that nature it makes sense of why I would go with you opposed to them all right now I got those there let me see if I can ask the AI uh what three companies in Arizona would you recommend I work w with on this project now i don't even know i I'm trying this one out live with you guys so uh we'll see exactly what it pulls up now of course I'm utilizing AI but inside of our software we could actually do this a whole lot faster um so nope it's not pulling up the actual companies for me to work with it's telling me industry association contact associations like Arizona Pest Management Center actually these are pretty good to contact cuz now you can find those there's always associations in every niche category all right so boom I got that right there matter of fact I want to add this one what do you think the price of this contract or notice of this quote should be i can imagine this what you typed in the chat gpt set yourself up here but let's see exactly what what it pulls up right here all right uh 700 square f feet um minimum wage determination document out of Arizona which includes the minimum wage so you see my AI wouldn't even set you up like that it's like look man I ain't about to tell you what the price of this stuff is you need to figure out your own pricing but we got the tool that's going to help you out here so I told you we tried to look at AI to get the easy answers but you know we can only take AI but so far and this should help you to consult as well that's why I'm showing it to you like this but next thing we're going to do is just come right here and we can see the incumbent so we can see that Carson White won this before they got it at 323,000 back in 2020 we see that MCC Industries did it at 32 we got AJ Constructions they did it at 312 a AJ Constructions and got it quite a few times uh so that could be the person that I'm competing with i could reach out to like Carson you know and see if I could partner with them on this opportunity chances are they already know about it too so you know I do have to keep that in mind but I can come down here and look what else we got our software automatically pulled other companies who are capable of doing this and I'm not going to reach out to Fed95 they're doing $4.4 million they are not about to come back down here and look at a project that's under $250,000 but each one of these companies will you know I see 297 308 oh they'll be willing to work now if for some reason you're like "Well Travis you know these companies that are put right here although they should be the best companies you can also come right here and do explore partner finder." And what's going to happen you see it's automatically going to load all of the information for that project from the agency to the size of it is to the nakes codes that's needed etc now I can quickly come down here and find all of the other contractors and I can do my due diligence now what you should pay attention to is this you know let's say I click on J3 or Bay Pest controls well now that I look at Bay Pest controls I can come down here click on Matts and I can see that they're just in Mississippi you know the odds of me getting them to come up to Arizona and do this work and that they got the license and stuff to do this work is probably not going to be too good right so I probably shouldn't look at them this is where you got to do your due diligence but again we can do all of this inside of SB MoneyFlow you should be moving extremely fast all right now you just got to make calls and send emails and look at your pipeline and stay organized and I mean you should be going through contract opportunities like this right so that's the gist of those opportunities under $250,000 i'm trying to tell you this is the fastest way for you to get involved with government contract focus on these opportunities under $250,000 if you're just getting started and you really ain't got that much experience in business guys uh oftent times I keep hearing people talk about government contracting and how it can you know make you a multi-millionaire in business it can but I say in business the government is not in the business of startups like they have real problems that need to be solved right now they are not trying to build your business right they're expecting you to already know what the heck you're doing they're not going to have no leeway because you like "Oh you know it's I just got started out in the business i didn't know." They not trying to hear "I didn't know." This is the wrong customer to be playing around with with the I didn't know this is the reason that they put the solicitation and stuff out there for you to read comprehend and promise to them when you submitted that you knew what the heck you were doing and you knew how to do it at the price that you put in there cuz again they are not in the business of building a business they're in the business of solving their problems so you need to come correct when you're coming to this government space and if you feel too scared you should be starting out here at a much lower ticket price and it'll make it a whole lot easier and you get some past performance under your belt now before we get out of here I wanted to show you guys this 8day thing don't forget make sure you're hitting that like button that subscribe button share this out with three other entrepreneurs if you do want to get our system SB Moneyflow I got the link in the description as well as I put it in the chat get signed up with SB Money Flow today and watch your money grow that's just how it operates now what one of the strategies as I stated with ADA something that you could do very quickly here all right so we can go to partner finders and we can come down here and come to 8A exit date what did I tell you guys to align yourselves with companies that are going to be graduating in the next three years right so we could literally come here April May June July blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah we go three years out 5 26 27 28 all right so we look at May 31st 28 and now all of a sudden I got all of my guess I could have did it here too all of my companies that will be graduating the program now Massachusetts Institute of Technology or Environmental Chemicals do not want to talk to you i'm just going to be straight up and honest you making $1.5 billion you making $87 million you already got an exit plan put together i would be a fool to call you on the phone as a cold call and think that you about to pick up for me but if I just click this button right here oh well you know these boys doing $5 million they probably don't have an exit plan i'm just going to tell you straight up so now I can come right here you know I could look at Good Men Roofing click on explore and now I can see the contracts that Good Men Roofing got you know I can see the awards that they got going on because I need to know what they're doing before I I get on the phone and talk to them ain't nothing worse than talking to a millionaire and you on there talking about I think or I believe or what you think I got time to talk to you about that i don't care what you believe i don't care what you think i want to know what you know if you don't know nothing well get off my phone i don't have time to play with you time is the most precious resource out here is more important than money could ever be so for you to waste your time talking to me about some startup stuff and you see I'm making millions of dollars well now you just put a bad taste in my mouth and I don't want to talk to you no more but if I do my due diligence and understand how this company operates and the contracts that they've been winning and where they've been winning them at well before I reach out to them I can find contracts that they're capable of doing and I can tell them about the plays that I'm trying to do by becoming their partner and becoming a piece of their exit strategy for the ADA cuz they probably again I ain't thought about it now that's one list i can immediately look for these companies that's about to get out there's also the companies that are three to six years in the program that ain't even like the thought of having an exit plan ain't even came in their mind yet well you can now go to that list of individuals next it'll probably be a little longer process but now you got years to get in bed with them and what I mean by that is you can the goal is to get a butt in a seat so when I look at these companies they're already doing work me being part of that extra strategy is saying "Hey I know you already got the project staff and you're working but I'm trying to get one employee of mine or can you take somebody who's currently working on the project and have them come work under my company?" The reason we're doing this is so my company can have the past performance and experience of working on this project so when it comes time to exit and that company is going to lose that project we can go talk to the customer and let them know this team right here like the subcontractor been working on this project for the last six years they're in the ADA space we are going to flip and they're going to be the prime and as the prime that you've been enjoying for six years we're going to be their subcontractor to make sure that this project continues to get executed in the best way that is the strategy behind this thing to make sure that you keep that work going and again if you got the proper software in your hands you could just move through this stuff fast you know I'm all about speed and not taking a bunch of time you can also come up here and click on analyze and you can find out a whole lot more information um you know again it'll calculate a bunch of stuff up here so you can take a look and find out and figure out what the heck is going on everything again is about speed with me okay now last but not least you can always come over here to your state contract so even if you're looking to uh uh partner with other companies or consult Because the federal government is moving a little differently right now it would behoove you to also find state and local contracts that are pertaining to the same type of work right and if we know we're going to be in Arizona you know I should probably put in Arizona here and see what contracts are available in Arizona hopefully doing the same type of stuff and I do filters so now it makes sense when I go talk to this potential teammate that hey I'm talking about federal contracts i'm talking about state and local contracts this is why I should be your consultant or we should be coming together and uh putting a proper team together so we can get out there and execute and make ourselves a whole lot of money you know cuz at the end of the day this is what this is all about i don't care about your problems i don't care about what's going on in your life i don't care about you just had a newborn or just bought a house we are over here to execute on problems so we all can get paid and when you make your money you can go do whatever you want to do with your money but don't tell me about what I should be doing or what I should be thinking about right this is business right now and that's it anything else that you are trying to talk to me about as a stranger I could care less i don't care about your nonprofit organization i don't care how you feel about this current administration i don't care about how you feel about racism what's right and what's wrong i don't care about what's going on at the uh America the uh uh AfricanAmerican History Museum i could care less that's not what we're here for we're here to conduct business and that's all we should be talking about if you start uh deviating going over here to the left to the right you just messed up the whole deal you should never feel that comfortable when it comes in business to have these type of conversations and you damn sure shouldn't be having these type of conversations with people that's making millions of dollars you're just going to you're going to make them extremely mad and now you're going to get a bad taste in their mouth when it comes to your name we are here for business and business only if you're not willing to talk to me about business I don't want to talk to you about nothing else if you don't know what business we should be talking about cuz you called me in need of something if you don't know what you need you're wasting my time too i'm not here to figure out what you need you should be calling me because you know I have the resource for what you need and you know exactly what needs to be done to execute anything else you're asking me to do work for you we make millions of dollars i don't work for other people for free and neither does anybody else on this list that you're about to reach out to unless they making like $50,000 you know $100,000 then by all means they're probably willing to work for you because they don't know what the hell they doing either but once you start looking up there and you see these companies making millions of dollars you better approach them a little differently than somebody on the internet or somebody on the streets or those entrepreneurs that you're learning from don't you approach that business owner that type of way all right guys put a fire emoji down there in the chat if you guys picked up anything that I put down tonight if you guys got any questions about anything that I went over feel free to put it in the comments i will answer them right quick before we get out of here if you don't have any we'll get ready to close this thing up don't forget you can always visit travisnose.com i highly highly advise you if you're a person that needs some assistance right you need to be able to ask questions get answers and things of that nature join my middleman club we meet two times a week on the second and fourth Wednesday of every single month you can get on these calls ask me anything you want outside of reading a proposal i'm I'm or RFP or anything i'm not about to sit there and read no RFPs but if you read the RFP and you got a question about what's in it by all means you can bring it on these meetings we'll knock it out if you need questions about pricing and stuff like that well that's where the middleman club comes into play if you want our software SB Moneyflow is right here but I highly highly advise you guys join our community most times you need to be around like-minded individuals and that's exactly what our community is it's everybody that's just like you trying to get involved with government contracting so this is the place that you want to be around and last but not least when you get to Travis Nos I want you guys to come all the way down here and go to my reading list figure out the books that I read to help me level up and guess what you'll level up too and if you need money for a project contract anything well we have a team that we work with here Ladder Financial Group they're very good at what they do you can actually book a call with them it's not me it's not my company it's a whole separate third-party company that we've worked with we trust and they will put you in the right situation that's what I like about them if they think that it's best for you to get credit cards they'll put you in the right credit card situation instead of going out there and getting those other type of loans and things of that nature if you really need the loan and they know that you can get it by all means they'll put you in the best situation uh possible for what you got going on so again visit travisnos.com and you can get that stuff answered time all right let me see let me see let me see question here um how did you find the opportunity that were less than 10,000 i have uh as an SB money flow miss again you just come here gonna go to your contracts go to your filters remove your question so you can see go to your contracts go to your filters you're going to come down here you're going to go to value range and then once you get the value range you're going to do less than $10,000 those will pull up for you right there and then make sure you also put on active opportunities all right and and if you really want to get good I will also put in here uh date due and you know I make the date due like at the end of the month and now all of these opportunities should be under 10K but remember we also going to need to add this filter to um opportunity type now you could answer some source of thought and some pre-solicitations RFIs but we trying to make some money so I'm going to put in those this and this and now we got opportunities out here that we can go after right now under $10,000 uh and they got the money ready for you like opportunities are ready to go cctv products man look I'm scrolling through this thing i may need to go take a look at some of these easy $10,000 wins i'm telling you man this stuff is extremely simple cuz most of it ain't nothing but products or you know hiring one person that knows exactly what they doing and you go to LinkedIn and trust me there's plenty of people out here looking for a job in this type of stuff that you know you could reach out to them and here's the thing you don't have to hire them right now there's this thing called contingent right so essentially all you're doing is reaching out to them uh of course I would have the statement of work uh and I'm pulling out information and I'm saying hey look I have a project that I believe that you could work on um take a look at the project requirements and let me know you know is this something that you could do they say this is something that I could do well you know what would you like to be paid for this opportunity they're probably going to tell you like $60,000 a year they may even give you the per hour price which is even better uh but regardless they're going to give you um um a very workable price that you could work with and then all you're going to do is uh have a um um offer letter or letter of intent that's saying it's contingent on me winning this opportunity like I'm not hiring you unless we win this opportunity right here if we win this opportunity then by all means you're going to be working on this project but now I can get their resume and I can submit it if I need to submit the resume of the key personnel and say "Hey you know this person is working under my company they're the ones that's going to be working on this project this is why we're capable of doing that work." And now I win the contract and boom I go execute the work with my employees so all them people talking about that middleman stuff don't work whatever they just don't know how to work it told you to stop listening to the entrepreneurs on the internet um there was only three companies who could do it and nobody was answering no don't ever do that you listen sometimes you need to go boots on the ground if it's really that big of a deal that you know you can execute and knock this thing out I'm going to go pull up on them you can't tell me their office location ain't uh public and if it ain't their office location is public you can't tell me they ain't on social the owners of the company or the assistant of the company or something ain't on social media and you can't tell me I can't track that assistant down and find their home address see you got to be a dog out here i don't care i will pull up at your house if I need to pull up on your house and ring that doorbell it may scare the hell out you but hey look we ain't got time right now they'll understand you know why I'm knocking on their door and we got a project that's due in the next 15 days they may bring me in and drink some coffee with them because they understand we about to go get this paper but by all means if somebody ain't picking up the phone or answering the email I ain't about to just quit right there when I know there's more things that I could do sometimes you may need to understand by following their social media that they're in a club and that club meets every other Thursday i need to join the club you may understand they like President Trump and they play golf five days out of the week i need to figure out what golf courses they go play at because I'm playing golf today i will sit my ass out there all day until they pull up to that golf course you got to be willing to think outside of the box remember this now just cuz you woke up today and said "I want to do government contracting," don't mean everybody want to do it with you like you have to be the one willing to do what needs to get done and sometimes we got to think outside of the box like I'm telling you right now I almost missed a call today i did miss the call but I almost did not answer it and it was the contract officer calling me let me see if I can pull up the phone contractor officer called me hold on i don't want to show you the real number but y'all can see this red contract officer called me four times today and I didn't pick it up because I'm like "Look I don't know the number i ain't picking that thing up and I don't be saving numbers i almost lost the deal because I didn't pick up the phone." I'm telling you that cuz people don't pick up the phone no more i don't see your face i don't really I ain't really trying to talk to you too much i don't just keep it funky send it in an email i may read it when I get a chance but I know for a fact if you come pull up on me I ain't got no choice but to listen to you but you better figure out how to pull up on me know where I'm at um are you live on talk is that where you add the info don't see it no I'm not live on Tik Tok i'm live on YouTube you can click the link in my Instagram bio come over to YouTube and you can see the much bigger picture all videos are saved on YouTube we are here live Tuesday through Thursday at 8:30 PM and we're live on LinkedIn as well um I wanted to sell your system who should I market to any small business i always say uh focus in on your niche industry and every business needs my system especially the full system and you get 20% commissions so every time you sell our software uh you're going to get 20% commissions whether they pay monthly or they pay yearly you're going to get 20% every time they pay do you recommend getting an AA as early as possible no i recommend you coming up with a strategy for the AA and the ADA will tell you the strategy will tell you when to go get that AA all right um we are the organizers come on man see he be watching my videos man he be watching my videos we are organizers you feel me all right guys i believe I answered everybody's question once again drop a fire emoji down there in the chat if you picked up anything that I put down tonight we will be here tomorrow 8:30 PM going over the other side of SB Moneyflow not the government contracting side but all of the other features like utilizing your social media accounts through SB Money Flow setting up automations for emails and text messages creating your pipeline and all of that stuff inside of SB Money Flow you so you can see exactly how it can help your entire business operate with just one system you are often hearing that companies are firing a lot of staff because of AI and automation well there's no difference with a small business if the big boys are doing it we should be doing it too and SB Moneyflow is the system that has the AI and the automation to scale your business to the next level and become your best employee that works 24 hours a day 7 days a week it doesn't talk back it just executes and that's where you want to be where you can wake up and have money sitting in your email sb Money Flow is going to be the one to help you get there um win contracts before going for the 8A that is correct that is correct or again put the strategy together to work with the companies who already got the contracts and you know you'll be a part of their exit plan but they should put you on a contract so by all means don't you go get that damn ADA and you don't know what you're doing is the moral of the story that should be the last program that you get in the absolute last one do you hear me all right guys outside of that once again I appreciate you all i love you all i hope that y'all enjoyed tonight's call don't forget make sure you subscribe to the YouTube channel if you on uh LinkedIn I need you to come on over to YouTube subscribe to the channel if you on Instagram come to YouTube subscribe to the channel we're live on t uh not Tik Tok Twitch i don't know who following us on Twitch they just be playing games over there but if you are on Twitch and you happen to see this video come on over to Maybe I need to tell y'all to go over to Twitch so I can get my Twitch account up anyways we'll work on that one day outside of that I love you all y'all know what it is this is going to go off when the music goes off i'll see you all tomorrow have a blessed night different yeah you already know what it is pure money baby i keep a couple in the bag homie I ain't got to brag even when the haters try to doubt me I just got another contract watch the dollars fall back let me tell you one thing about me said I like my money pure i like my money pure hey I like my money pure said "I like my money pure."
