[Music] so you're in an AP History Class or an AP government class and as you've no doubt discovered by now they're hard you went into that class wanting to get an A because in your mind your future plan is depended on but as soon as you started that class reality set in and you realize that getting an a was not going to be easy maybe you have a teacher that teaches you in a way that doesn't make sense to you or maybe you're overwhelmed by the metric buttload of resources out there that are supposed to help you well that's where I come in for the last four years I've been publishing videos here on YouTube that are designed to get you the information you need to do well in these classes quick fast and in a hurry but look as much as I believe in these videos I'm afford a healthy portion of my life into making them I also understand how true learning occurs and it is not just by watching videos let me explain you want an A in your course but in order to do that you have to learn actively watching my videos is a passive exercise and maybe it gets you to about here or maybe watch them six times over and it gets you here but that is not what you want this is what you want so what I'm here to tell you today is that I've created a tool that will help you actively engage with my videos which if used properly has every shot of getting you here behold the heimler's history video note guides for AP World apus AP Euro and AP Government went through all my scripts of all my videos and created these note guys that follow along with exactly what I'm saying let me show you how they work here you've got your learning objective to focus your study then as I flap my mouth hole in the video you follow along and fill in the blanks you can do that by hand or digitally then at the end of each section there's a box for you to summarize your learning up to that point and let me tell you writing these ideas in your own words is the way the concepts will begin to live in your brain then at the end now that you have all that information you can write a thesis which responds to the learning objective and that's exactly the kind of thing you'll need to do in the writing for these courses unit one and two are free for all the classes so you can go check them out and see if they're going to be helpful for you and I see a hand in the back question how is this different from your review packs excellent question my whole goal here on YouTube is to help you get an A in your class and a five on your exam in May and now I have two tools that are going to help you to that end the note guides are best for helping you get an A in your class because they're more bite-sized and focused mainly on the content of the course the review pack will also help you during the year but it is particularly how helpful for reviewing and practicing everything you need to know for your class exams and the national exam in May so if my videos have been helpful for you in the past then I'd highly recommend that you get these note guys and go get that a heimler house [Music]
