Hello everyone, it's Spawn Point and it's that time of the year where we spend hours trying to find the best Black Friday deals in the hope of saving a little bit of money. Well, today I'm going to show you all of the deals I found for the PlayStation 5. We've got games, hardware and accessories with some pretty impressive discounts. Now if you see something you like, I have linked to everything below along with the cheapest price that I can find. And thank you to LG for sponsoring a portion of today's video. And first up, we've got the PS5 consoles.
Now, I'm assuming if you're watching this, you've probably already got one. But if you haven't, or maybe you're thinking about buying one for somebody else, now is the perfect time. These prices are literally the cheapest I've ever seen them.
So we've got the PS5 Slim, which comes with one controller and a disk drive, and this has been reduced by $75 and £65 on PlayStation Direct. However, it's actually slightly cheaper on Amazon, especially here in the UK, where it's coming in at £399. That is a great price. There's also the Fortnite bundle edition that comes with a Fortnite Cobalt Star Pack.
It has an outfit and some other in-game merch, plus 1,000 V-Bucks. The fact that it's the same price as the standard console is almost a no-brainer to get this bundle instead. Or if you don't need a disc drive and you're happy with a digital-only PS5, these prices are ridiculously low. So here in the UK, it's coming in at between £309 and £325.
while in the US it's showing at $374. So yeah, if you're wanting to buy a PS5, now is definitely the time. You just need to decide if you'd rather go for a disc or a digital console.
There are also some great discounts on the DualSense controllers this week. These usually cost around £65 to £70 or £75 to $80, but it looks like they've all had a £20 or $20 discount. So we've got colours like the standard white controller, as well as the cobalt blue and the sterling silver.
But even the new chroma collection that only launched a couple of weeks ago have also been reduced. So if you were wanting to pick up one of these new colors, it was definitely worth waiting until today. Now Amazon is a few pounds cheaper, but to be honest, it appears most of these are out of stock.
So I would stick with the PlayStation Direct for these. There's also the DualSense Edge controller. So this is the pro controller that comes with adjustable triggers you can flick between normal and instant, as well as the mappable rear buttons.
It also comes with a carry case and replacement bits like different rear buttons and thumbsticks. These are expensive, but with the current prices, you're going to save around £20 to £30. Next up is PlayStation's VR headset, the PSVR 2, and the price of this is actually unreal.
So the retail price of what it launched at was $550 to $600, depending on the bundle that you went for. But this week it's coming in at more than £200 and $200 off. So this comes with the VR headset and two sense controllers. Plus, if you go for the Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle, it is the same price as the standard headset, but you're getting the full game thrown in for free, effectively saving another £50.
And don't forget that this headset now works on PC as well as the PS5. So if you're after a VR headset for either, this is a great one to go for. And I was really surprised to see this in stock, let alone in the Black Friday sale, and that's the Spider-Man 2 Collector's Edition.
I'm sure this went out of stock when I first ordered it last year, but either way, you're getting the full Collector's Edition, including the Ultimate Edition game, Steelbook, and a statue for £150 or $150. And when you factor in the game itself being worth about $80, you're paying around £70 for the statue and the Steelbook. which I think is a great price.
And if you already have the game, well, you could always sell that and just keep the other items. Now, it is definitely my favourite statue that I have in my collection. So if you're a Spider-Man fan, this is 100% the edition that you want to go for. Just bear in mind that you don't get a physical disc in the box, it is just a code for the game.
And talking of collector's editions, if you're in the US, they do have the Horizon Forbidden West CE on sale as well. This has been reduced by 50% and comes with the game. display case art book and statues i can tell you now if they had this in the uk i would definitely have grabbed one but it looks like it's only available in the us and next up i've got to talk about monitors so if you've watched any of my videos before you'll know that i'm a huge fan of the lg ultra gear monitors like the 32 inch 4k OLED that i'm using here and this is perfect for everything including gaming on pc ps5 and xbox and this week they have got some great discounts that are worth showing you So this is a 32-inch 4K OLED that's capable of up to 480Hz.
It's got an incredibly clear image, and as it's an OLED, it means you get these perfect viewing angles. I get loads of comments about this screen, and it's an easy one for me to recommend, especially as it's $999 in the sale. I would go as far to say this is the best gaming monitor that you can buy right now. But there's also a 27-inch 1440p OLED if you wanted a slightly smaller size. And this will be $649.99.
Or if you're looking for an ultra-wide and curved OLED monitor, there's these three. So the 34-inch, the 39-inch and the 45-inch ultra-wides are all 800R Quad HD screens, and they support up to 240Hz. So that is perfect if you're on PC and they've all been reduced by around 40%. Or if you're looking for a new laptop for work or school, there's the LG Gram Liner.
The 17-inch model is a crazy thin and lightweight laptop with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. This has been reduced by $500. And then the world's lightest 16-inch 2-in-1 Gram Pro, which has a 1TB SSD and a screen that you can fold back on itself to create this tablet view. This has also been reduced by $500.
So a few great items there if you're looking for a Black Friday deal this week. And these deals do end on December 2nd. And if you're looking to customise your PS5 with some fresh new covers, it looks like all of the covers are on sale this week. This is for both the original PlayStation 5 and the newer Slim PS5.
This includes the Midnight Black and Sterling Silver, the Grey Camouflage and the different colours that we've had over the years. If you've got an original PS5, they have both the digital and disc versions separately, whereas the new slimmer version is slightly different. And that's because these come with both the digital and the disc covers in the same box. So you just need to choose the colour that you want to go for and you'll get both.
And I think £35 or $45 for a full set of covers isn't a bad price. And personally, I really like the all black as well as the sterling silver. As for headsets, well, there are loads of discounts this week. The Pulse Elite are down to $109 or $129 on PlayStation Direct, while they are once again slightly cheaper on Amazon.
These are the improved headphones that we got to replace the standard Pulse headset, which came with bigger drivers and a better mic. There's also the Pulse Explore earbuds, which have a £30 or a $30 discount. Or if you just want the cheapest PS5 headset, the standard Pulse 3Ds are really cheap, coming in at just £70 and $80.
Now I have had a look through the games, and we've got quite a few in the sale that are worth taking a look at, both physically and digital as well. Actually, there are so many great games on discount on the store, it almost needs its own video covering these. But for now, these are some of the best discounts that I've seen so far.
So Spider-Man 2 is down to £43.69 or $39.99 for the disc. And actually, looking on the store, it's roughly the same price digitally. So really, it's a case of deciding if you'd rather have this on disc or download it right away. We've also got God of War Ragnarok at £35.30 and this is a great game.
Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart is $30, as is Demon's Souls, The Last of Us Part 1 and Helldivers 2. And if you've not played Hogwarts Legacy yet, this has 70% off, coming in at £20 and $20. EA Sports FC is also already 50% off as well. Also, if you do buy your games digitally, it's always worth buying your PSN credit online, which makes the games even cheaper. Now what I do is I always buy my credit from Shop too, which means I can buy a £100 top-up card for £86, essentially saving another 14% on top of the current sale.
I have linked to their website below but I have used these guys for 10-15 years so definitely feel safe buying from them. And talking of games, another one I want to show you are these framed games. These are from Framer Game and I've got a few of their frames now and it's a cool way to display your favourite games or steelbooks that you've got.
So I've got one for Astro Bot in here and another one for Final Fantasy in my living room. But my favourite two are these two and the new one I got today which is GTA San Andreas on the PS2. And this one actually has the new TrueView glass which It doesn't reflect, but it still protects the game and the case. And what I like about these is the small detail of when the game was released. Now, I have got a discount code for Black Friday that you can use below.
And the code is Black Friday with two I's. And that's to match my name. So don't miss that when you're typing the code in. So that was a quick look at some of the Black Friday deals and prices that I found this week for PlayStation.
Are there any in here that you think you'll pick up for yourself or for somebody else? Now, I did try to find some deals on the PlayStation portal as well, but so far nothing has come up. but I will keep an eye out and drop a link below if one pops up after I publish this video. Last week I also unboxed some pretty cool items on the channel for the 30th anniversary of PlayStation, so make sure you go and check those two videos out next.
And thanks for watching, please like, subscribe and follow me everywhere. Until next time.
