e-commerce industry now although this is a boring topic that no one wants to talk about and everyone wants to avoid I'm going to say this right now if you avoid this then you're not going to see any success now I'm also going to be saying if you don't even watch this free course in full and take notes you're also not going to succeed now let's talk about what is the apex predator mindset for drop shipping in e-commerce and it comes down to three simple principles now the first ingredient to having an apex predator mindset is understanding that failure is going to happen whether or not you try and do anything now you can't physically control whether or not you're going to be successful with your Drop Shipping Store the first one that you make the honest truth is you're probably going to fail with the first store that you make even the first three four stores that you make are probably all going to fail but what you're going to get from those stores that fail is lessons and you're going to get better at actually doing the Drop Shipping methods of product research building a store so the point that I'm trying to make is if you're over attaching yourself to trying to stop to failure and you cannot control yourself from failing and you don't want to fail then you're going to fail I see too many people try and make sure they see success and they end up failing and quitting because they were so hard and desired on not failing the way an apex predator's mindset will approach this business is if I fail what can I learn from that first failure what did I do wrong or what can I take into the next business or what can I take into my new Drop Shipping Store that can increase the chances of success now the second ingredient to apex predator mindset for Drop Shipping in e-commerce is not being scared of losing money now too many people have this emotion around money that if they lose it they freak out they get upset they build up this hatred towards whatever made them lose the money so all I'm going to say is the sooner you start to lose emotion for money towards a business the better you can be now I lost £4,000 which is around about $6,000 at the time when I first started Drop Shipping and that was all of my savings as a 16 17 year old so I didn't have anything left after that and I had to go back to work and build up some more cash and don't get it wrong it hurt a lot when that happened but honestly I got over it very quickly within the day of losing all the money I got over it now once you understand that your time is is more important than your money because you can get money back time you cannot get back there is no way you can build today back throughout anything you can use billions of dollars and you still can't get time back so the point I'm trying to make is your time is more important so you have to ask yourself stop worrying about money and startop worrying about the time the whole point of you doing this is to quit your 9 to5 or to quit your job so you can have more time and the best thing that you can honestly do is if you have $2,000 there to sit and ready to go tell yourself even if you haven't You've Lost That Money that's what I always do when I start a new business venture I say to myself I'm going to give this $30,000 and if I lose it all I've lost it all and I even trick my mind into believing I've already lost that money because once you go through the business and you incur losses you don't even think about them because you've already told yourself they've happened it's a little bit crazy thinking like that but honestly for me it works and it works really well so if you want guys if you've got $2,000 just say to yourself it's already gone I've lost it then when small losses come up they're not going to bother you now the third ingredient to being an apex predator in this industry is by always building knowledge on the most important aspects of the business right now it's understanding how to create amazing creatives offers and understanding customer psychology so whenever you've got some spare time you want to be spending time on how can I get really good at editing videos how can I get really good at making videos if you're doing ugc all of these things are important how can I get better at creating offers how can I get better at understanding what my audience wants now this actually will correlate with the discipline level that you have if you're spending that extra hour you've got a day on the game watching Netflix then I'm going to be honest you're not cut out for this and again you can either work on the business or inside the business there two very important things that you should be doing you shouldn't just be spending all your time working in the business which is building the store running the ads you should also be working on you which is understanding new knowledge updating your knowledge obviously you watching this free course is one of those but I'm trying to say you should also be looking on YouTube on how to make really good videos you know we're going to teach you guys the basics and even more than the basics but to become an absolute Pro and master you're going to have to take you know information from other sources and actually add that to your list of skills that you've got I've took video editing courses just to get good at editing videos these are the examples that I'm trying to give you now let me talk about the opportunity cost that you've got with e-commerce and Drop Shipping now I always say to people that unless you understand the opportunity that you've got in hand you will never truly understand and you will never truly give it what it deserves now Drop Shipping in e-commerce can change your life you know it can make you a seven fig entrepreneur eight figure even n figure entrepreneur I'm not even going to talk about the brands you can just Google it now e-commerce is the biggest industry in the world in my opinion and Drop Shipping takes up 35% of that market now by me giving you guys these numbers it shows you how much money there really is to make out of there and how there's this big of a cake and we can all eat from it you know how you hear people always say well e-commerce is saturated Drop Shipping is saturated look at all that market share that's available and even if you just wanted to make a million dollars look at how big the global market is for this industry you making a million dollars barely touches the surface guys the point I'm trying to make is even if you want to make a million doar even if you want to make $10,000 a month extra or $110,000 extra a quarter that's very very possible this has the opportunity for you to go full-time quit your job and become your own boss at home and work on your online business but you have to respect the opportunity not a many people respect the opportunity because it's so easy to start but you don't actually take a step back and say you know what I can appreciate actually having this at my doorstep and even if you don't make money Drop Shipping the skills that you're going to learn in this free course and in the industry are going to enable you to make a lot of money even if you go and become a freelancer in copyrighting website design running ads as a media buyer all of these skills that you learn as a drop shipper are high income skills these are skills that companies are willing to pay five to six figures and the high five figures and six figures as a job you know if I wanted to go and get a corporate job I could easily get a six figure salary in marketing because of all the knowledge that I've got so the point that I'm trying to make is I would highly recommend that you appreciate every single day you get to your desk you say to yourself I'm so grateful and thankful for even having the opportunity to even participate in this e-commerce and Drop Shipping world because it wasn't always there to do so and it's never been as easy as it is today with all the softwar as all the AI involved now when I started it was a lot harder and I'd also recommend that you don't just track success by money a lot of people use success as a metric of money don't look at it like that look at what skills I've learned look at what I've been able to do in terms of networking all of these are factors of success and you need to learn to stop tracking success by money because that will make you depressed the way you should be tracking success is in three different ways and I want you to write those three different ways down whether it be skills whether it be connecting to new people whether it be understanding how you've become a better person through mindset and literally write down every week how you've increased on those three values if you want to add money as a fourth one which I understand feel free to do so but the point I'm trying to make is do not track your success as money because it will kill your dreams and long-term Ambitions I always think of money being the last thing to look at as a success metric now if you was to ever see me the Ecom King Camille sa as an entrepreneur when he first started you wouldn't even recognize me the way I spoke the way I acted the way I thought of life you would be shocked you wouldn't even realize that's me because of how much I've had to change to get here today and that's all through the opportunity cost of learning Drop Shipping and having to shift my mindset so this is such a beautiful way to become a better person in all aspects of life so guys welcome to the product resarch search module for the Drop Shipping 2024 free course now I'm actually myself comma known as the Ecom King is going to be doing the product research section of this course so I'm going to be teaching you everything regarding product research and finding your winning product now this is one of the most important parts of your Drop Shipping Journey without a sellable indman product then you're not going to make any money and I am going to be showing you all the free methods that I use that will find you a winning product so I will be covering this module so let's get straight into it welcome ladies and gentlemen to the product research model of the free course I'm going to be the mentor for this module obviously camil sat known as the Ecom King so we're going to be going through the best ways to find winning products for your Drop Shipping Store and your e-commerce store now I'm not going to be going over all the boring methods that are outdated like Tik Tok made me buy it Amazon made me buy it Amazon finds we're actually going to be going through valid methods and 95% of all methods I'm going to be showing you today are completely free I will be showing you a paid method at the end but all of them from there will be completely free to use so before we actually get into the product research methods we need to go over the product research criteria so we need to go over whether you should be selling it or not selling it so you should only be selling products if you're making a 4.5x on the price so if you find a product for let's say $10 you need to add a 4.5x to the product to sell it so if it means that it's costing you $10 to buy the product and ship it you need to add a 4.5x to the product which is doubling it by that and the reason why is because if you're going to be advertising the product on Facebook or Tik Tok if you don't have that much margin to play with your cost per result or your cost per acquisition is going to be way too high for you to even make any decent profit the rule of thorb is 4.5x of what it's costing you to get it or make at least $25 extra on the product now you don't want to be selling confusing products because again if they're confusing and they're not easy to understand then you're going to have a very hard time to convince somebody to buy that product so you want a very simple understanding product you also want good imagery you don't want to be selling a product with bad imagery or bad videos or it's hard to create good images or good videos because it goes back to this point here it's a confusing product now let's go over the valid database sheet so I've created you guys this completely free Google sheet that's going to help you with your product research you can see here it says product add link with engagement competitive store Ali Express link Amazon review link so you're going to put them all here now of course to get access to this guys you need to be inside of the Vault now once you're inside the Vault it should look like this and you want to go down to where it says resources and you just want to click that and it will take you there now if you want to go there another way you can go to episodes you can go to the product research method here where it says find a winning product and then you can scroll down to where it says resources and you're going to see the sheet here where it says access again it's completely free to join the Vault all you need to do is create a brand new store on Shopify and you'll get access to the Vault and once you've done this guys you will get the sheet just like this now of course you want to duplicate this and make a copy of it so you can edit it for your own product research now we can actually get into finding valid winning products for our Drop Shipping Store or our e-commerce store now something that I want to make extremely clear right now is you want to be using databases to find these products now a database is the actual website or application that you're using to find the product so we call that a database these are places that we're going to find other people selling the product or other platforms that have the product that show us that there's actual demand for it now if we have those databases which I'll be showing you today right now that are free to use you then have to do extra research to make sure that they are ready to be sold now because again those products could do well a few months ago but right now the season of the Market's not right for it so the first database that you can use is the eBay watch counter now this will be in the cheat sheet now you can see here it's called watchcount.com so this is basically a watch count on eBay so on eBay you can watch an item now the more watches on that item the more demand and interest there is for that item now when you come here you want to filter it by the US the UK and the top five countries so maybe start with the US and work your way around then you can choose the category that you want to find a product in the best thing to do is just go through all the ones that make sense for example baby garden you know Home Electrics and things like that then click show me and then it's going to show you all the products now straight away product number two has grabbed my interest it shows that it's got 2,152 Watchers right now for that product now what I'm going to want to do is open this listing now I've opened open their listing and this product very much looks like a dropshipping product so what I'm now going to want to do is see if this product is available as a drop shipper now the easiest way to figure out if these products are being drop shipped is by using a Chrome extension called Ali Express image now this is a completely free Chrome extension to use but this is just going to make your life easy so when I right click this image you can see here it's going to let me search to see if it's available on AliExpress so I'm going to click this here and now it's going to show me the image URL and now it's going to go through the database on AliExpress and see if this product exists now just like that it's been able to find similar products now I've not been able to find the exact product now I do believe that this exact product is on AliExpress I might just have to manually try and find it now even if this product isn't on AliExpress if we can find one that is very similar what is the product it's some form of Lego m control formula one car so if I can find a product let's say this one here that looks similar and it does the same thing then that's completely fine we can sell that item now we can go back onto the eBay watch can and you can see product number four here has got 1,992 watches I can then open that link again now I know for sure that this one is a Drop Shipping product I've sold it before so I can right click it and click search with AliExpress and I'm confident that we'll find this product on AliExpress now just like that we have found the exact same one and a few other variants of the product so straight away we have found a product now remember this doesn't mean we have to sell the product now this just means we found the product that we've got interest in so now we need to go and do some more validation methods so that is the first database product research method which is using the eBay watch count It's very effective and completely free now the second method is by going over to Pinterest creating an account and once you've created a Pinterest account you can come here to the top left and go to where it says analyze performance and go to where it says Pinterest Trends now once you're on Pinterest Trends you want to filter it by the country so I filtered it by the United States and you can see here it's showing me current trends so summer nails are trending nails are trending fashing is trending planets are trending characters and hobby are trending so what I'm going to want to do is I'm going to want to click on one of these now just to make things simple I'm going to click on sumon nails and just like that it's going to show me at the bottom popular p the pins are like posts so we actually want to try and find products on AliExpress that look like these now once you click on the popular pin you're going to see other pins that are related to that pin now what we're going to want to do is literally for the first row of pins these are the most popular ones and the sponsored ones which means people are paying for you to see them so for the first two rows you're going to want to go on these pins and try and find the same product on AliExpress so if you can find ones that are very similar to these in these pins or or you can reverse image search them these are good items to look to sell so you can see I went on to AliExpress and typed in summer nails and I'm seeing a few similar nail versions that I found on Pinterest so like this one here is very similar and this one here is very similar to the ones that are found here so those are again a great option to find a product now the next best database is actually AliExpress themselves but not using the normal AliExpress so when you use normal AliExpress like this this is using it as a consumer which means you're looking to buy from AliExpress as a consumer now once you've created an account on AliExpress you want to go to your account login info and scroll down to where it says AliExpress business now once you've done that you should now see AliExpress business this is where things become a game changer why is that because now you're viewing AliExpress as a business owner and not a consumer so straight away you can see the way AliExpress is showing me these items is not for me to buy them it's for me to sell them so if we scroll down you're going to want to go for the ones that say these are the popular items these are top sellers you can see top sellers popular item so I'm going to want to view this where it says view more and now you can see it says popular DS products which stands for Drop Shipping here are the popular products that you might be interested in so it's showing me as a business owner and look at the amount of orders these have got this one's got 1,000 orders this one's got 1,000 orders this one's got 1,000 orders 900 orders this this one's got a th000 orders so you can see these are legitimately a good product now again these are for me to sell as a Drop Shipping business owner so what I'm going to want to do is literally go to any of them that have more than 500 orders so this one this one and this one a lot of these right now have more than 500 orders you're just going to want to choose one of the products that have more than 500 orders and literally now go to the next step which is when we validate it but that's how easy AliExpress Business Center is it literally just shows you winning products right now as a drop shipper and there's no one better than AliExpress that tell you what are winning products they're the ones that Supply these companies with the product now the next method that you can use to find a product is go into the Tik Tok shop Sal Center now to do this you need to be in the US UK and there's a few other countries that you can do this from and once you've created a Tik Tok shop account you want to go to where it says shoppable videos then you want to go to where it says top sales and then you're going to see here you can change the duration time and the upload time I would change it to last 30 days and now you're going to see videos that have the most sales so all of these videos here are of items that have had the most sales now you can actually change this by category as well so let's say for example I want to find pet products only I'm going to cck Pet Supplies and now it's going to show me the bestselling pet products on Tik Tok shop so now I've just seen this video pop up a few times and it's a tennis ball thrower so you can see it right here and this is some form of tennis ball thrower for the dog or the cat so now we're going to want to go back to AliExpress and try and find it and just like that guys I have found the product I typed in dog ball thrower and I found the product itself so you can see here we have found the product off the Tik Tock shop center right there and this is selling really well on Tik Tok shop so why would it not sell well as a drop shipper selling it on our own platform now the last method to the product validation database is come to Etsy now Etsy is huge for Etsy sellers like they make so much money but if they were to run these as their own products on their own store like we are they could make way more money now Etsy gives you lots of information that you can use to find what is a good product so if you come to Etsy you don't need to create an account but what you want to do is you want to go to categories and you want to choose one of the categories so you can see it says recommended but you can go to one of the ones that you like now for example I'm going to go to electronics and accessories and then you want to choose one of the dropdowns now I'm going to be choosing docking stands as an example then you want to go to where it says all filters and you want to filter the shop location to anywhere you want to change item format to physical items and then you want to change it to Etsy pick you can see here it says Etsy pick and star seller I would only filter it by those two and click apply now once you do that what you're doing is you're telling Etsy that I only want to see the products that are the best s or the ones that they think are the best sellers now you can change relevancy to top customer reviews as well that way you're going to see the ones that have the most orders you can see here this one's got 400 orders this one's got 500 orders 600 orders 2,000 orders so what we can do here is we can go through all of these and try and find a product so this is a winning product right now it is a wooden dock station that is personalized so this is a winning product that I know about already cuz I know a friend that's selling it and he's making a lot of money so just like that on Etsy I found a unique winning product now I've never seen this product before let me know in the comment section below it's completely unique so I can start running that product and again I can use the Chrome extension to find it by clicking right and search and just like that guys I have found a few sellers that are selling their own versions of the personalized doc so this is another really great way to finding unsaturated untap Drop Shipping winning products now after we've done all that guys we need to go back to our sheet and fill in the information which is the product with the link then we need to fill in the rest so we need to find the ad link so what we need to do is go to the ad library and change it to all all and then search for the product name I've typed in personalized desk organizer and then I'm going to search for it and just like that guys I found a few ads they're not showing me the same product but they're showing me similar products we actually want to try and find the exact product so if you struggle to find the exact product it might be the keyword that you're using is completely wrong so you might need to reuse the keywords now if that doesn't work then what you can do is you can go to Google and once you come to Google what you can actually do is look at The Google Shop here so you can see here where it say sponsored these are all the Google shopping and what you want to do is you want to try and find somebody that's running Google shopping ads that are personalized and you want to try and find their website so that then you can find their Facebook page and then search for it directly now if the Google shopping doesn't show you any if you scroll down you're going to see some organic websites so this one here personalized wooden desk they're selling similar ones some of them are the actual ones so we could use them as an example if we scroll down there's a few more that are coming up are ones that we want to look at so once you find these websites what you want to do is find their page name go back to the ad library and search for their page name and then you'll find all of their ads so for example if I go to this website here which is makes me something special we can see their Facebook which says there follow us and there we go that is their actual store name so we're going to copy it and paste this into the ad library and you should see it show up and now if they had ads running we would see them there which they don't so we can try the next website go to their Facebook page here which is called love unique personal and try and see if they've got any ads running themselves so I'm going to change it over and just like that do they have any ads running yes they do they have quite a few ads running now not for our exact same product they're selling a few other products but that's the idea you want to do you want to try and find pages and ads that are running for your product and go back to the sheet and start filling it in now again by doing those methods you're going to find competitive stores you're going to find the Aly Express with reviews and then you want to find it on Zen drop Zen drop's the supplyer that we recommend and it's the one that I use so you want to try and find it on Zen drop and then you want to find the product on Amazon there's also a Chrome extension here which is called search by on Amazon which is similar to AliExpress one and then that way you can find the product on Amazon figure out how many reviews they've got and add it in here as well now with that being said guys that is the product research module remember the most important thing is using valid databases to find products that have already doing really really well then finding all the information like the stores that are selling them and the ones that are doing the most by looking at the ad library to see you can also go on Amazon and check the reviews to see how good of a quality product it is Remember by checking Amazon you're going to be able to work out if the product is actually a good product in terms of quality you don't want to be selling bad quality products on your store because then you're going to get really bad chargebacks in refunds which is going to damage your profitability and obviously the long-term success of your store so we use Amazon to figure out if the product is worth selling in the first place and I always say as long as the product's got more than three and a half stars then it's fine to sell on Amazon now what I'd say to you guys is you want to be having at least 10 products on that Google sheet we made for you once you've added 10 products to that sheet then you can progress to the next module because you'll have a few products to play with throughout the free course and you can start testing a few from those 10 products that you've added to that list because out of those 10 products you should have around about three or five that are great to advertise on ads and you can actually rotate between now I'm not going to be showing you any paid methods in this video or module I've got other modules that I'll go through paid methods because I actually don't think you need paid methods as a beginner unless you're desperate to find products really fast then it's a good option or if you're a seasoned professional in the industry it's a good option but for most beginners all of those methods I've shown you will get you a product that can do $10,000 $100,000 pretty simple and easy as well unless you're rapid testing there's no real need for them guys in my honest opinion if you do want to use any PID tools the modules will be in the Vault on how to use them and which ones we recommend but with that being said that's this module down let me know what you guys definitely going to be in good hands hello guys my name is monar and in this section we'll be discussing how to get started using Shopify so the first topic that we're going to cover is actually why use Shopify and not another platform there are many other Ecom platforms that you can use but the three main features that Shopify offer us that others don't is for example you can get started with using only $1 so it will cost you only $1 for your first month to get started started with Shopify you have 247 customer support and it's very easy to use I've been using Shopify now the last four years and I have to say I haven't found a better platform yet so that's why I totally recommend you using Shopify to get started with your Ecom journey to support the Ecom Kings Channel make sure to use the link in the description below this will be highly appreciated so once you click on the link in the description below this is the page that will pop up the only thing you need to do here is type in your email address once you've typed in your email address this is what comes you can either choose to skip it all or go step by step answering all the questions but now to keep the process easy for you guys we are just going to skip it all here it's very important to select the location where your business is registered that's very important because then later on in the process it will allow us to choose payment options and payment providers that are available in the specific region that you've chosen so for example if you live in a country where stripe and Shopify payments are not an option but you have already registered a company in the UK or the US for example make sure to use the country where your business is registered once you've done that click next in this step Shopify ask asks you to create an account so here you have different options to sign up you can sign up with email you can sign up with Google whatever suits you the best I'm going to sign up using my email address here you have four different options to create a Shopify account I'm going to sign up using Google once you type in your email address you will see that Shopify is going to load your store and this is the Shopify dashboard this is the place where you can have an overview over your store over your orders here on the menu on the top left the products that you're going to add to your store your customers the analytics which is super important your marketing discounts that we're going to create for our customers down here is online store this is where we're going to edit our store later on and apps this is where we are going to add our apps and here on the very bottom left you can see our settings and also here on the bottom right you will see when your trial is going to end and that you're going to start your first month for only1 this is actually the first thing that we're going to do which is selecting a plan so whenever our trial is over we can still keep our Shopify store so to do that you can just click on select the plan and here I recommend you to start with the basic plan because it's a cheapest option in the beginning and you actually don't need more if you don't have like a business running already here down below you can see what comes with this plan you can see that you have 24/7 chat support and that you can sell in three different markets that's a topic that we're going to cover later on and you can also compare this plan with the Shopify plan the advanced plan and Shopify plus just to see what the difference is but for us now we're just going to click on select basic here you can either choose to pay monthly or yearly here you can see that you're going to save 72 if you paid yearly but for now since we're just starting I recommend you to choose the monthly plan the next thing we're going to do is actually to link our payment option I'm going to pay my plan using PayPal so for that I'm going to click pay with PayPal once your PayPal account or your card is connected and you've added your address you can just click on subscribe to complete the whole sign up you just need to add your phone number and click confirm business address great that's already the first step we've created the Shopify account we've selected a plan for only $1 in a month and now we can continue with the next steps the next thing I want you to do is to click on settings and then here we can add all our information and make sure that everything is set up properly the first thing I want to do is click on profile and then change my store name from my store to the actual brand name that I have so in our example I'm going to choose e clipped once I've done that you can just click on save another very important thing is your store currency this totally depends on what your main target audience is if you're selling products in the top five countries I totally suggest you to use US dollars but if you sell for example in the German Market or in the French Market I suggest you to use euros and if you're focusing only on the Australian Market I totally recommend you to use Australian dollars to change that you can just come here and click on the three dots and you click on change store currency so now for this example I'm going to change it from British Pounds to US Dollar to do that you can just click here on the menu and use us and then click on Save the next thing on the settings is your plan we've already done that we can just double check how it looks here you can see that we are on the basic Shopify plan instead of paying £25 a month we're only paying one here on billing you will see the summary of all the payments that you've done to Shopify and if one time your bill seems very high or you're asking yourself when you're going to get buildt the next time you can see all the details here and then just click on paid and then you'll see details of your payment the next thing is users and permissions here if you upgrade your plan to a higher plan you can add staff members to your store that help you work on your store so for example if you hire a virtual assistant or you get a new business partner and you want them to work on your Shopify store you can just invite them here where it says stuff accounts add their email address add their name choose all the permissions that you want to give them and then you can easily just add them to the store the next very important step is your payments this is where you enable the payment providers that allow customers to check out on your store and actually pay on your store and for you to receive the payments there are two options that I recommend having here the first payment provider that I recommend you installing is Shopify payments this one will allow people using their credit card on your store and also pay with shop pay Apple pay or Google pay to install Shopify payments to your store the only thing you need to do is Click complete account setup if this option isn't showing up on your Shopify store please go back to store details and make sure that your country that you've selected is a country that allows using Shopify payments and if you don't have that click on edit your billing information and add a country where your business is registered if you don't have a business yet I highly recommend you registering a business in a place where Shopify payments is allowed so to start with the setup you just need to click on complete account setup and fill in all the information here I'm going to fill in my business information so you can see how it looks once you've installed Shopify payments to your account so once you've submitted all your information you can secure your account with the twostep authentication to do that you can just click on setup Two Step type in your email address or log in using your Google account and then once you've done that you should download the authenticator app scan this code and then typee in the six digit code down below to secure your account once you've done that you can download the codes and save them on your computer once you've done all of that this is how your Shopify payments account should look like you can click on manage to change some stuff so for example if you don't want to accept shop pay payments or no Google payments you can deselect them but I would actually leave everything as it is but here you can see all the payment options that your customers have now and this is also showing you how much you will get charged for every payment so for every European payment you will be charged 2.95% and 30 and for international payments it's 3.15% and 30 this is also very important to calculate those costs once you set up your selling price as I discussed before another payment option that I totally recommend you installing is PayPal and the only thing you need to do here is to click on the PayPal and then click on deactivate it if it automatically took the account that you created the Shopify account with and then click on activate again to connect the PayPal account that you already have once you've done that it should show you go back to Shopify amazing so now we have set up all our payment options here we have PayPal and we have Shopify payments and now we can move forward here you can see the checkout here you can edit all the stuff that you want to show on the checkout or not so if you want people to add in their first and last name you can click here require first and last name if you want the company name you can add that too if you're selling stuff to companies but you can also select do not include same for the address line same for the phone here you can select how customers should sign up for your marketing is it through email or through SMS whatever option you have selected and then down here if you have any issues with the language and it's not showing the right language on your store you can see that you can change the language here the next very important thing that you need to take care of is setting up your markets in the right way every Shopify account will be set up by default this way and what does that mean so far you have one out of three markets active and the active one is the United Kingdom this means that if we don't change anything on our settings here only people from the UK can come to our store and complete their payment I've had a couple of students recently who missed out on a lot of sales by ignoring the simple step they had a lot of add to card a lot of initiate checkout but no purchases because people weren't able to complete the payment because they didn't activate the markets I will show you two ways how you can go about setting up your markets because this is one of the most important steps that we need to make sure that we do it properly and we can also add some tips and tricks on how we can improve our conversion rate on our store just by setting up our markets properly so let's assume we are targeting the top five countries okay so this means the US Canada Australia New Zealand and the United Kingdom and as I said there are two ways to go about it you can either click here on International and then once you're inside just set it from inactive to active and on the top right click on Save and as you can see here where it says product and pricing you can see that the default store currency is us and if we go back again to the overview now you can see that we have two active markets with the Shopify plan that we have selected now which is the United Kingdom and international so this means all the countries around the world this is good while starting testing different countries but then again let's assume and now that's the second strategy let's assume you're making a lot of sales in the Australian market and you really want to make sure that your customer experience from the Australian Market is perfect on your store to do that we need to create a market specifically for the Australian Market market and I'll show you why so to create a new market we just need to click add market and then here on the top you give it a name I'll call it Australia and then down here you can click on the search button and search the country so here I'll search Australia after ref found Australia you can click on it and click add Market this is the big game changer for us now we don't need to install like fancy apps that do currency conversion for us we can do that directly from our Shopify setting and now by adding just Australia to this Market you you will see that the customer will see the product prices in Australian dollars and to go even a step further you can just click on it and once you've imported your products to the store your products will show up here and they will show up with shopify's conversion rate from US dollar to Australian dollars so for example if you're selling a product for $29.99 USD your product will show up with an rounded number something close to $48 because $29.99 USD is $447 Shopify will round your price up to $45 but if you're a customer coming from the Australian Market to a Shopify store and you see a around that number like $45 or 4500 that isn't very an attractive price that motivates you to complete the purchase so what you can do once you've imported the product you can see it here and then just click on the product price and change it to $44.90 or $49.90 also depending on the shipping costs that you have to the Australian markets so you will have complete control on the price that you want your Australian customer to see and this is something very very valuable again to sum up make sure once you start running ads to figure out which is your winning audience winning country create like a market for them and make sure that you have specific prices and the specific currently for the specific people that come to your store so you can improve their experience on your store and this way you will get a better conversion rate so now once we have set up our markets here you can see the UK Australia and international we need to set up our shipping and delivery to do that we can just click on shipping and delivery here on the menu on the left side once you're here you can just click on General shipping rates and here you can see the shipping rates for your different markets that you have set up now for our example we said we'll be targeting the top five so we can delete the zone for the European Union here we have international which is very important here you can also to see what countries has Shopify already in their default setups for international and if you see that the country is missing make sure to add the country to the market so now if that's the case and you see a country that you're targeting but it's not showing up here you can click on the three dots here and click on edit Zone and if you're targeting Belgium for example and you don't have it yet you can just click on Belgium and click on done this way Belgium will now will show up in your International settings and again this is something very very important to make sure of if you're targeting a country it has to show up here in your shipping and delivery options otherwise a person from this country can't check out on your store so now for international we're going to set the shipping in the beginning as free shipping so you can just click on the three dots here delete this option and then click on ADD rate you can call it custom and then the flat rate name is going to be the free express shipping for the price make sure to set it at zero so it shows up as free and then you can click on done then we can do exactly the same now here for the UK for our second Market that we have created delete the options that we have here and then click on ADD rate choose custom and then exactly the same call it free express shipping after finishing with the setup make sure that your five countries are showing up here so here we have Australia we have New Zealand we have Canada and we have the United States and the United Kingdom down below so we have all the countries that we want to Target and after you've done that you can just click on the top right on Save here it says customers in one country won't be able to check out because it is in an inactive Market let's go and check this out if there's something wrong and it's the European Union and we're not targeting the European Union at the moment so that's why it's okay if that's not active again just make sure that all the countries you're targeting are active and they have a shipping option the next thing we are going to check together is domains here you can either buy a new domain directly on Shopify which is an amazing feature or connect an existing domain that you've bought from hostinger for example here you can find plenty of tutorials showing you exactly how to do that and it's very simple to set up another very important feature are languages here you can see that our store default language is English but if you're targeting multiple countries so let's say you're targeting the German market with the same store you can just install Shopify translate and adapt which is completely free and this will translate your whole store and you can even edit the translations and make sure that it's looking really nice and that your customers have a great experience on your store down here where it says policies you can create all the policies for your store the refund policy the privacy policy the terms of service you can just click create from template and then you'll have the templates ready for you and then you just need to adjust them with the data of your store this is it for the first section on how to to set up your Shopify account and in the next section we're going to discuss which are the most essential apps to install into your store hello guys in this section we're going to discuss the most essential apps that you need on your store so here you have a short overview over the apps that we're going to install the first one is going to be zendrop to fulfill our orders that's the best way on how to fulfill orders in 2024 the second one is omnism this is the app that we're going to use to set up our email flows and email campaigns and the third one is going to be lay reviews that will help us import reviews to our store so yeah the first app that we're going to install to our store is Zen drop here you can see that you have three different plans you have the free plan the Pro Plan and the plus plan you can also see like what you all get using the plus plan and if you use the link in the description below you'll get 51% off and $200 in order credit so this means you can fulfill orders worth $200 completely free so this is the page that comes up when you click on the link attached to the video below and here you can type in your email address your card details and then you can sign up I'm going to do this right now once you've completed your sign up you can just click here on apps and search zendrop this is how it looks on the Shopify app store and then you can click on install here again install app once you're logged in this is how your dashboard looks like this is the best way how you can import products to your store I'm going to add sunglasses to my store and then I'm also going to show you how you can directly import a product from AliExpress to your store using zendrop if you can find your product directly here on zendrop so here let me type in sunglasses and hit enter so now if you want to install those sunglasses to your store you can see the product cost so it will cost you $348 and you can just click on add to my products I recommend you to repeat that process 8 to 10 times so you have around 8 to 10 products on your store and once you've done that you will have a nice looking store with multiple products product that your customers can choose from but we will be advertising the main product that we have chosen after clicking add to my products you can just click on my product here on the left side then you can click on review and publish here you can change the name if you want to change the product name you can even change the description here you can change the variants that you want to import to your store and which ones not so for example if you don't want the red frame and you don't want the green frame you can just deselect them you can also already add the sales price if you want and you can also select the images that you want to add to your store and which ones not so for example now if you've deselected the red frame and the green frame you can just deselect them and then scroll down and click on publish to my store and then click confirm once this is done and it shows as linked we can go back to our Shopify account and see if the product is important or not on your Shopify account you can click on product and here you can see that the product is available so now if you can't find your product on zendrop but you have the AliExpress link you can just click on AliExpress import and click on download Chrome extension this is the Chrome extension that we need and if you've installed it already we can go on AliExpress and then directly import products to our zendrop account so now if you found your product on AliExpress you can just go to the Chrome extension and click on add to import list after clicking add to import list the product will show up under my products and then you can import it easily to your store as we did with the past example this is where all the orders will show up once you start getting orders to your store the only thing you need to do is just select the order and then pay it you can also top up your balance to make sure that you always have enough budget to fulfill your orders this is it about Zen drop and let's move on to the next app the next app we want to install to our Shopify store is omnisend omnisend is super important especially if you're running paid ads to retarget customers that haven't completed their purchase yet and send them deals through emails or SMS marketing using omnisend is also a great way to grow your email list by giving firsttime visitors a great discount so they type in their email address and you can retarget them in the future with your newest product launches or with special deals that you're doing in the future this is a great way how you can make more money with your store without spending more on ads and the cool thing about email marketing is that the open rate of good emails is very high so once you visit the website omniscent tocom this is what you're going to see here you can see that this is super easy to set up the only thing we need to do is just click on start free and here we can sign up with Shopify and then click on install directly to our store once you've done that you can just click on install and then fill in your information to create your omniscent account this is the place where you can add your logo and all the branding of your store so here you can add the accent of your store you can upload your logo and make sure that everything looks branded as on your store and once you've done that you can just click on Save brand assets this is a step that we can Skip and we can click on continue to omnisend so the first thing we want to do is click on launch sign up form as we've discussed before this is a great way to collect emails and grow your email list by giving firsttime visitors a discount on your store here what I like to do is instead of giving percentage discounts I like to give direct dollar discount so this means I let my firsttime visitors save $5 to do that you can just type in save $5 once you've done that you can change the button down here too you so you can just click on the button here and change it from get 10% off to get $5 off so yeah once you've done that you can click on step two so we don't want to collect their phone number too so you can just click on the three dots here and click on delete so it goes from the form directly to the success message and here on the success message we want to give them the discount code that they can use so they can save $5 on our store so here we will say thanks for signing up and then here as thank you you'll find a 10% discount code in your inbox we will change that and make sure that we will give them the discount code directly here so we will say add thank you this is the discount code that you can use the discount code I've created here is called save five I'll make sure to make that bold so they can see when they're using this discount code they'll save $5 and then you can just click on enable to make sure that people can use this discount code on your store we need to go back to Shopify and actually create the discount code you can come back to your Shopify account and click on discounts then you can click create discount and click on amount of order here you type in the discount code that you've created so for example save five and then you change it to fixed amount here on the discount value and you type in $5 and then if you scroll down I would just limit to one use per customer and click on Save Save Discount once you've done that we can go back to omniscent the next step is to create a welcome flow so here we will create welcome flow here it says welcome new subscribers with an email we can click on we will do this later because we want to create our abandoned card flow first my opinion that's the most important flow that we need to create now for beginners which is recover abandoned cards so every time someone abandons their card and doesn't complete their purchase we will send them reminder emails that that they can come back to our store and complete the purchase so here we will click launch workflows the cool thing about omniscent is that everything is already preset so the only thing we need to do is to select the discount that we want to give our customers and then just click on continue setup so here I'm going to choose 10% make sure to choose a discount that makes sense with your offer and doesn't bite off too much of your margin and once you click the discount that you want you can just click on continue setup here it will ask you if you want to add SMS to so you will click yes at SMS Channel and then you click on start workflows once you've done that you can just click on show my workflows so here you can see the automations that you have we have abandoned checkout and abandoned card you can click on them to see what's going on inside them and if there's anything that you would like to change so for example customer enter the workflow when they start their checkout customer exit the workflow when they place an order so you see when a customer places an order they want be targeted with this automation but if they don't place an order this is where they start getting those emails and SMS you can click on an SMS and here on the top right you can edit the subject line if you want you can also edit the preheader you can also change the sender's name so you can say something like Tom from eclip you can change the language but now to keep matters safe we will just leave it as it is and click on update once you're finished with all your changes you can just click on publish changes so it's really really really simple with omniscent to start your abandoned checkout automations that's basically everything we need to do to get started we will also leave you some documents attached to this video that will help you create new flows and also nice strategies that you can follow in the future let me just guide you quick here on the omnisend menu here you have the dashboard where you have everything that you need to create here are the campaigns if you have already collected like a couple of emails and you want to send a campaign to your customers this is where you can do that here we have our automations the abandoned checkout and the abandoned card here are the forms that we have set up to give our customers a discount in exchange for their email address here you will have your audience where you can create lists and segments to send email to A specific group of persons here you have your reports where you can check everything that has been going on using omnisend and how much revenue you were able to generate and if you want to add reviews using omniscent you can do that too so now the next app that we need to in installed to our store is Lay reviews so we can collect reviews and add them to our product so once you type in Lay product reviews on the Shopify App Store you will land on this page and here you need to click on install once you've done that just click on install again here you can choose the app language make sure to activate the Ambit bet so the reviews will show on your Shopify store and once you've done that you can just click on import reviews to import reviews we're going to select AliExpress here you can select the product that you want to import the reviews for and here you paste the AliExpress link of your product and you choose how many reviews you want to import to your store here I'm going to choose 20 and I'm going to pick contain photos for the country I want all the countries and then I'll click import here you can select the reviews that you want and that you don't want and if there's one that you don't like for example this one you can just click on delete but then once you're happy with your selection you can just click import all and finish here you can also click on manage reviews and this this is how it will look like to make sure that our reviews appear on our product page you can just click on ADD block then here select apps and then you choose star ratings once you've done that you can just drag that up just below the title and then you will have all your reviews already nicely showing up here you can also add a section click on apps and then you can also add the testimonial Carousel for example or the card Carousel depending on the design that you want I would play around a little bit with them and then you reviews will show at the bottom of your product page once you've done all of this you can just click on Save on the top right so yeah guys that's a very easy and simple way on how you can import reviews to your store here again an overview over the most essential apps that you need on your store Zen drop to import products to your store omnism to launch your automations for your emails and lay reviews to import reviews to your store this was it from the app section and in the next section we're going to talk about about creating irresistible offers hello guys and welcome to the next topic that we're going to cover together which is crafting irresistible offers to start off I would like to introduce you to Alex heroi and his book 100 million offers if you haven't read it already I would definitely recommend you to get yourself a sample and read through the book because it's a complete Game Changer I would totally recommend you to read the book and take notes while reading it because this will help you first of all to understand how to generate value and also at the same time how to improve your conversion rate if you're already running ads but you're not seeing the success that you're wishing for the topics that we're going to cover here in this module is the value equation enhancers of value the importance of a compelling offer and how to craft a compelling offer so let's get started with the value equation so this is the value equation that Alex heroi shows in his book and this is of huge importance because human beings spend money for Value you don't spend money for the air that we have around us because it's just around and everyone has access to it but we tend to spend money for Stuff where we feel that we're getting more value back from it if we actually spend money for it and the way that Alex her Moi explains how value is generated is by using this equation he emphasizes that everyone has a dream outcome a stage that they want to reach something that they don't have yet or a state that they haven't reached yet I will come up with clearer examples shortly then another part of the value equ is the perceived likelihood of achievement so this is something that determines How likely is it for me to achieve something if I buy a specific product or a specific service the part below the line on the value equation is time delay this means how long will it take me to actually achieve my dream outcome and that is added with effort and sacrifice what effort do I have to bring in or what do I have to sacrifice to reach that level and this whole equation gives us value and one thing that this equation shows is that most businesses focus on the upper part of the equation so they talk a lot about the dream outcome like they talk about the goals and wishes of their customers and also showing how they can achieve it with their product but what most businesses ignore is the bottom part of the equation which is the time delay and the effort and sacrifice how long does it take to achieve the dream outcome and what effort do I have to put in as a customer to achieve what I want but for all of this to make a little bit more sense let's have a look at it from an Ecom perspective so here you can see that the dream outcome is what is the customer Desiring what problem and pain does he want to solve to take an example here let's take the gym industry and the supplement industry everyone wants to have a nice body okay that's the dream outcome of everybody this example is going to explain why the supplement industry is almost 10 times bigger than the gym industry the dream outcome is the same you want to have a beautiful body the perceived likelihood of achievement can be reached by seeing people who go to the gym regularly and get a nice body so you know as a customer if I get a gym membership and if I go long enough to the gym and I have a healthy diet I will achieve the goal of having a nice body the same with supplements here you know that there are people out there that take supplements that help them Reach the goal of having a nice body much faster than people who don't take supplements so the upper part of the equation is the same so you have a dream outcome which is the same and you have a perceived likelihood of achievement that is also the same both ways supplements and gym can take you to the body that you wish for the big difference between the two industries is in the bottom line of the equation the time delay and effort and sacrifice time delay in the gym industry is very very big it takes you month or years to achieve a nice body and have a nice physique and it also takes you a lot of effort and sacrifice you need to go to the gym early in the morning lift heavy weights you need to sacrifice sugar and fast food and stuff that will keep you apart from your goal so that's why the bottom part of the equation for the gym industry is very very high and for the math experts Among Us we know if we want a number close to infinite means that the number below the equation line has to be close to zero and not a high number but now if we take the supplement industry time delay is promised to be very short we don't know if that's true or not but they you can see that on the ads that they tell you like have a nice body within two weeks or three weeks or a couple of weeks to reach the dream body that you want and the effort and sacrifice is actually just taking a pill and drinking water so you don't have to lift heavy weights and sacrifice stuff and because people love instant changes and with very low effort and sacrifice people tend to buy supplements more than buying JY memberships so if we take this example to the Ecom space it will look like this so if you're selling a product you can communicate the dream outcome with your ads and the copyrighting so with your copywriting you can talk about the specific problem or pain that you want to solve for your customer customers and then you add the perceived likelihood of achievement to that so you can do that by showing social proof you can show case studies on your store you can show reviews of past customers who bought your product and are now happy that they have achieved the dream outcome that they wanted so for the dream outcome you can use your copywriting and your creatives to communicate the dream outcome that the customer wants to achieve and on your store you can use case studies and reviews that show the pred likelihood of achievement to your customers because you have already people who have achieved their dream outcome using your product now the bottom part that makes Amazon such a big big company is that their bottom line of the equation is close to zero now with Amazon Prime you can basically order a product in specific places on this planet and you can get the product on the exact same day so time delay is very very short and effort and sacrifice is is very very small at Amazon because you literally have to just click a couple of buttons and you already have ordered the product now for us running Ecom stores we need to make sure that we choose the right suppliers that can provide us great shipping times or you can tap into the digital product Niche where you can sell a digital product that your customers can instantly download we also need to make sure that the effort of actually ordering a product on our store is super super low and we can do that that by making sure that the design of our store is super clean the call to actions are very clear and there are very few steps to complete the checkout now Shopify has made an update where you have a one-page checkout which is amazing and this reduces the effort for a customer to buy a product instead of going through three checkout Pages as before and if you can install payment options like Apple pay where a customer literally just has to click on the Apple logo and complete the payment this will make sure that you minimize the effort on your store and your customers can complete the checkout easily so for you in the long term to succeed with Ecom and provide as much value as possible to your customers I would really focus to have very low shipping times and great suppliers that can offer you that and also make sure that your checkout process and your payment options are very nicely set up so customers don't have to put in a lot of effort to order your product so now that we've covered the value equation let's move on to the next topic here on the boot camp we have decided to pick those sunglasses to sell and now we're going to implement all the learnings that we had in creating a nice offer for this product here again just to sum up those are the four components of the value equation and now let's see how we can Implement that for our sunglasses so you can see the dream outcome of people that want to buy our product is to improve their sleep by cutting the blue light that they get and also protection for for their eyes by blocking UV race the perceived likelihood of achievement we can achieve that by adding nice reviews to our store and show that they have improved their sleep and also Protected Their Eyes from the UV race for the time delay we're going to use zendrop as our supplier because they offer great shipping times and they also have a Us warehouse so we can check if we can Source a product on a Us warehouse so we have shipping times of 1 to 3 days maximum and for the effort and sacrifice we're going to install Shopify payments to our store so people can use payment options like Apple pay that makes them pay with literally just one click we're going to have a one page checkout on our store and also we're going to have a great customer support to make sure if our customers have any questions or anything that they're struggling with that will help them complete the purchase easier there are a couple of things that help us enhance the value of our product so the first thing that you can do as you can see on the bottom left are giving bonuses so for example you can gift an ebook if that makes sense that educates our customers about specific topics how they can protect themselves from UV rays or how they could improve their sleep you can show them tutorials about stuff or exercises that they could do or other products that they could buy that help them protect themselves from UV rays and from Blue Light you can give them an extra gift for example a case for the sunglasses or a cleaning set you can also play a little bit with the product name as you can see as it's the second Point instead of just calling the product nice sunglasses or just sunglasses you can call them blue light blocking sunglasses so people understand immediately what the product stands for and they know that they can achieve their dream outcome buying your product you can also play around with scarcity so you can say that you have limited stock and you can add after each variant like for example if you're selling three colors blue red and yellow you can say for the blue there are only three items left for the yellow only four items left and for the last color you say only five items left this will create scarcity for our customers and this will help us generate more sales by emphasizing the scarcity of the product on our store you can also use urgency so you can say that this is a limited offer that you're giving at the moment so a specific price is only valid for this week or this weekend or for example if there is uh something like Black Friday or cyber one day that they know that this offer is just for this period of time and after that they can't benefit from this offer anymore you can say that this is a limited drop and then you can literally remove the product from your store if you have a lot of frequent uh visitors just to make sure that you add urgency to your product this will also help you enhance the value of your product and improve your conversion rate and at the end you can also give guarantees so for example if there's damage to the product or if the customer is not happy with the product you can give them a money back back guarantee or even you can tell them like that you will replace their product for free so here let's have a look at those different offers that you can run for this product so let's assume that this is the ad that you're running on your ad accounts and you're running traffic to your product page one offer that you can run is like literally just buy one for $49.90 that's it this is the first offer that I used to run for my first Drop Shipping Store super boring you couldn't get a couple of sales that way of people who are really solution whereare and they know that your product is going to provide them value but I highly recommend you to test different types of offers to increase your conversion rate a different type of offer that you can run is by actually increasing the price but you can say buy one for $59.90 but you can get a second product for free if the margins make sense this already looks a little bit more interesting you always have to check if it makes sense for your product to make a buy one get one free offer or not this is actually the type of offer that helped me make my first 60k in sales by giving one necklace for the full price but a second necklace of the customer's choice for free you can also do the same for example buy two get one free this works specifically well for products that where you can buy multiples where you can buy multiple items from for example if you're selling home decor items where a customer wants to have three four five of the same items distributed at their place you can say buy two get one free or buy three get two free the offer that makes sense for you to increase your average order value and at the same time also increase your conversion rate the third type of offer that you can run is by actually offering the sunglass for $49.90 you give a free gift or a free ebook to it and you also offer free shipping but here I've crafted the big boss offer for you this is the type of offer that should make you the most amount of money a big boss offer has four components the first component is a high perceived value so this means a customer feels like they're getting much more for what they're spending on your store the second component is that you have good margins for yourself this means we're making sure that we're building an offer that helps us have a great margin and not be in a slight profit we want to have a healthy margin so we can scale our store and make money with it the third component of of the big boss offer is to provide guarantees as discussed before you can provide a money back guarantee if theu product is broken or you can also offer a free product exchange guarantee so the customer feels safe and they eliminate doubts from buying from your store and the last and important factor of the big boss offer is urgency we give the customer a reason to buy right now and not delay the process we tell them that this offer is valid only today or only this week so a customer knows if I delay the purchasing process right now I might might not find this offer anymore and if you run such an offer I would really test it leave a offer running for a specific week and then change it with another one so you're really offering limited offers every single week so now to sum this up this is how our offer four would look like the big boss offer we will we will be selling one pair of glasses for $59.90 which will give us a good margin since we've seen that the says allow custom app development again and then you want to go to where it says create an app now where it says app name you're going to call this store generator and then you're going to click create app now for those that are wondering why we have to do this is because this will give the AI store Builder the permission to basically create on your store now once you've done that you want to go to where it says configure admin API Scopes which is right here now what you want to do is you want to select every single one of these now this is a little bit of a tedious task cuz there's 111 of website scroll all the way down to where it says access token that's literally what we've just got you want to paste it here and then where it says store name you want to go back to your Shopify store you can see here in the settings my store you want to grab this name here with the URL copy it back to the AR store Builder paste it here and then you want to enter your email address that you used to sign up to Shopify so what email address you've used to sign up to Shopify you need to add it here then click submit then you can see here it says store name access token submitted successfully please press next now now if you've done this correctly yours should look like mine and then you want to hit next now step three is picking a Shopify subscription for this to work guys you must pick a Shopify subscription now it's as simple as this go back to the Shopify dashboard go here where it says select the plan in the bottom right now you need to make sure that you get at least the basic plan for this to work which is this one right here which is the $1 for 1 month and you're going to get this included now in my opinion the only two plans that you guys should go for is either the small teams or the solo preneur the reason why I'm saying these two are the best recommendations is if you're planning to add people to your store then the small teams is the better plan because you can add staff accounts but if it's just going to be you then go for the basic plan now once you've done that you can either pay through PayPal or credit or debit card so I'm going to go for credit and debit card so as you guys can see on the screen I've blurring this out cuz obviously I don't want you guys to know my personal information but I've entered my card information my address my country then I'm going to hit subscribe now once you've done that it will save the payment method here so you can now see the payment method that I'm going to be paying with now I can hit subscribe again and it will pay for the plan now you can see it says subscription successful in the bottom so now I've paid for my subscription I now want to go back to the AI store Builder scroll down to where it says submit and what it's done is it's checked to see if I've got an active subscription you can see here subscription to Shopify plan was successful and this is what I'm trying to tell you guys you cannot cheat the system if you've not picked a paid plan then you will not be able to proceed to The Next Step so guys we're at the best part of the AI store Builder we're about to pick what we want on our here now let's go to the bit that actually matters which is the product page so I'm going to be using the dual wheel ABS roller as the example so let me click on it now you can see just straight away that the images used on the web site or AIU so the background for this original photo I'll put on the screen so you can see the original with the AI store bu you can see it's cut the image out and it's placed it in a gym scenario how cool is that guys this is literally taking stock AliExpress images and putting them in realistic scenarios all for you using AI you can see here if you go to the detail section here you click it and it opens up a drop down menu with all the information in there now if we look at the other images on our store you can see there really good high quality images that the AI store Builder has picked out for us and you can see if we scroll down we've got even more images that are really nicely done with information that is for the product so you don't have to fill this in and if we scroll down and look at the customer testimonials you can see that they've all been done correctly with AI you can see that every single one of them is for the product if we call your brand so you're going to call your brand whatever you want and then you're actually going to add your tagline here eventually now you might actually want to go to one of your product pages and add more info now I'm not saying by any means that you should just go and run the product as it is like this technically you could if you really wanted to but I don't recommend it the whole purpose of the AI store Builder is to do the majority of the hard work for you and you come in and do some slight adjustments or add some other information to make it even better that pretty much covers how to use the AI store Builder hi guys welcome to the next module of the free course and this module is going to be about canva images creating images using canva and Osman will be teaching you this module in the free course Osman is a six figure Ecom and drop shipper entrepreneur he knows how to take a brand new store to six figures and Beyond using image so he will be the instructor on teaching you how to do this correctly and effectively all right guys so now we're going to be going over how to use canver to create high quality image ads that convert and we're also going to be discussing how to use canver to make the logo so let's get into it right so first of all when we're thinking about image ads you might be thinking right I've run image ads before in the past and they've not worked well for me so why do image ads matter well the issue might be just with the quality of the image ads that you're making so let's get into it so why image ads and why do they even matter first of all so the visual appeal when you make a high quality image ad it captures attention faster than text or videos and stuff because when people are scrolling through you can scan an image ad in seconds instead of watching like a 30 second video and stuff because of this they do tend to also get good engagement and cheaper clicks so this is the main thing videos tend to be more expensive in terms of the cost per click on Facebook and stuff you will find that image ads in general are cheaper and if you do get a high converting or a good image ad you will see that the cost per purchase is a lot cheaper right and also brand awareness when you consistently put out um image ads that are like congruent they have the same design same kind of branding and stuff it builds brand recognition so we're also going to discuss what types of image ads work well so here's a few of them you have an O versus them where you compare your product to the competitor you have something called a big benefit call out where you call out the main benefit as a headline a features call out is when you have the arrows that kind of come off of the image and they you know tell you the features and stuff then you have customer testimonials a big bold statement and offer image so this is an image that you're kind of promoting like a offer when you're testing offers and stuff so this might be buy one get one free so here we have some examples of good image now I've just gone on the ads library on Facebook and I've just searched for companies like hexclad they have really good image ads so this one here is a big bold statement on like a testimonial it's where right in the center of you obviously have a high quality image of their product but this is what's capturing most people's attention the most durable cookware on the effing planet and here they're saying by Gordon Ramsey in reality I doubt Gordon Ramsey has used this he might have I'm not too sure but you can get away by just you know putting someone's name here and just saying they love it stuff like that this will capture someone's attention and it's a bit on the cheeky side as well because it's got the effing in here so I do find that image ads that are kind of like a bit funny like this they do work well here is what I was talking about before the benefits SL features call out so this is huel they make meal replacements movies here they have this image here obviously this is their product the milkshake and we've got these arrows with the features and benefits coming out so the main benefits are all of the nutrients you need in one meal so it's got more protein than five eggs more vitamin C than an orange more Omega three than a salmon filet and more potassium than a banana this is very good it's very simple and clean so like remember guys when we're making image ads less is more okay and they also have this here just kind of promoting the offer so this is a very good ad and you have the O versus them so this is when you compare your product to the competitor and obviously your product's going to have a lot more benefits F some good things to save and the competitor so here again you have huel they've got another product here the instant meal pots and they're comparing them to instant noodles or ramen noodles which a lot of people have had so the main headline is instant noodles but make them healthy and you can see that they're kind of you know capturing people's emotions with this especially people who are health conscious because that's a big thing nowadays as well so here we have obviously like the uh bad things about the instant noodles compared to them and they have a lot more good things so yeah there's some good ideas all right so these are just some more examples of the templates and stuff so we saw this before was versus them but you can type in things like these to find good templates so product benefits this will give you something like this and O versus this is this a magazine cover now and not a lot of people do this but I actually find that these work quite well this is a template that canver has already you want to just put your company's name here or like a headline here and you can fill all of these little pieces of text here with benefits and stuff and a customer testimonial Fe also do very well so it looks like this now we're just going to discuss and go through how to use canva to make this so I'm going to get canver open now cana's got a lot of really good design templates here so there's a few things you can search for so just the things that I've listed here you can search kinda for these so let's just go through a few examples you can go through and type in O versus them and you'll get a few here now you can easily just put your product here versus competitor or like you know like vaded with ar ramen noodles and stuff and you also have really good ones so you have a benefit call out we can see here fees are all really not this one here fees are really good designs it's very simple very clean you just have your product here you can just take this out put your product in here and change these these and there's loads of templates on convey and yeah so we're going to go through one more as well now one little cheeky trick is I go for the skincare ones because I found out the skincare ones have really good ones here so I'm just going to go through here now and just find one and we're going to make an ad together guys right cool guys so I found this one here I really like this and we're now going to make an ad using this so what we can do here is we can see that this is like an individual piece I'm just going to remove this and then I'm just going to get the image of the product open here yeah right cool so what we can do here canver has a really cool feature here we can go to edit image and what we're now going to do is just use this to remove the background cool perfect so I'm now just going to bring this in a little bit cool and now I just want to think about how I'm going to position it I'm going to make it a little bit smaller and I want it to appear like it's floating a little bit because we've got a shadow here already and I'm just going to use that so what I might do is I'm thinking somewhere here this rotate it ever so slightly cool so now we have the arrows here which with the features SL benefits coming out and we've got the headline here just going to remove this I don't really like it and I'm just going to put the headline here and make it just a little bit bigger and you know what this font's not so bad so I'm going to stick with this font here what we want to do is we want to capture customers attention so we want a big attention grabbing headline here all right so I'm going to ask them a question who says I protection can't be stylish and I'm just going to put a question question mark all right I'm just going to make it a little bit smaller actually it's a bit too big cool what I'm going to do now is I just want to make this stand out a little bit more so I'm going to go to effects here and I normally put like either a shadow or a lift here and you can see this just gives it like a little bit of a like Shadow right behind it which just makes it pop up a little bit more you can see the difference here what I might do though is I think I might just go for a shadow so I'm going to just put this to Black and I'm just going to bring in the dire change the direction there a little bit I want it to kind of line up with the Rays of the Sun so I think somewhere like that would be pretty good and this just changes how far out the shadow go so I just want like a little small one here like this and I'm just going to blur it as tiny little bit and I'm just going to go to position here and I'm going to go to Center and I'm going to move this up a little bit here actually I'm just going to line up with this button here so that's cool who says eye protection can't be stylish yep that looks good now I'm just going to move these arrows so let me just put this right click here layer send it backwards and now I should be able to grab these two and I'm just going to move them here so what I think I want is something like this I might just bring this a little bit more there yeah cool and what I'm going to do now is I'm going to hold shift and I'm just going to drag this I just want the line to come right next to the product here I'll just drag it up a little bit more like that and I'm want to do the same thing so I want these to be to be here you know what I'll give this a little bit more breathing room there y just like that right now I'm just going to think of two benefits to put here so I'm going to put something like better sleep and I'm going to put Clear Vision and I just want to line this up now and now I'm just going to get rid of this and this is just going to be a bit more of like a sub heading to just grab their attention so I'm going to put this here I want it to be all lined up and looking nice so here I'm just going to make sure this lines up here like that perfect and now I'm just going to change this all right cool so now for this headline I've gone for this so cool so now what I've gone with here is just a little bit more information about why the product's so good I'm just going to make it a little bit smaller we want to hook people in so the main objective of headline here is to get them to read the subheading and so on and so forth so when they see this they'll be hooked in with the question and then they'll just see which is the main benefits of the product so nor more squinting our lens is cut down glare dramatically and block sleep disrupting blue light what I'm going to do actually is just need to make it all look nice and professional so I'm just going to get rid of this here we go here you can see we've got a very nice looking ad here so far so cool let's go on and find another one so let's go to another design here and when you click on one here it gives you loads more suggestions of ones like it so oh this one's cool right we're going to make an ad using this now so we're going to do the same thing we did before I'm just going to bring in an image of the product but I'm going to choose a different color this time and I'm just going to remove the background here perfect now I'm just going to change this cuz I don't like when it's really big you end up clicking on this instead of the product behind it so I just like to make it a little bit smaller like that cool going to delete this going to delete this this delete this and this again has the similar kind of thing with it with the benefits coming out and stuff but I really what I really like about this design here is the leaves so what I want to do is I want to position this in a way here that's really good yeah so these leaves here are not part of this so I'm going to just bring it here in between the fingers like that and I just want this finger here to be over it slightly to give it a 3d effect so I'm just going to right click on this now and I'm going to send it backwards cool so now we can see here that this finger here is right in front of this here now what we can do is we can just come here resize these so I'm going to put one here just like that and going to put one here somewhere like that yeah cool so now it's got a bit of a 3d effect to it and it looks very nice and clean here right cool so now I'm just going to think of another headline another subheading and another few benefits guys right cool guys so what I did there was I just did all of the headlines subheadings and benefits so I've just written all a copy now now one thing I want to touch on now is when we're doing the copywriting and the headlines and stuff for ads we always want to be selling them the benefits first because people buy based on the emotions and stuff they don't want to know about the features and stuff they just want to know how is this going to improve their life so we take a look here the main headline here is improving your sleep has never been easier all right that's calling up people who have bad sleep and stuff and just putting on glasses will make it better for them and we have here the sub heading so say goodbye to I strain and hello to enhanced productivity and we have the benefits here so boosts your focus and sleep and shields your eyes what I'm going to do now is I'm just going to change the fonts and colors and stuff here so I really like the Poppins font this font here is really good it's very simple very clean just going to put this here like that that's very good and I'm just going to do a couple of things here so going to change these to the brand colors just to make it pop a little bit more so we got these two words that are now highlighted and just going to go to effects now I see it's already got an effect on but I want the shadow again so I'm just going to give it a little bit of a blur bring it in a little bit here just like that and give it a little blur so that looks much better now and what I'm going to do now is just make this a little bit bigger here line it up properly this and now for these benefits here so what I want is I want this to be here ideally so like that I'm going to hold shift and I'm going to drag this here so it's just coming right next to this Frame here right cool so now what I'm going to do is I'm going to move this one here as well and I'm going to move this to about the same level here but I want this to just come out as well a little bit and what I might actually do is just move this Leaf out of the way a little bit just like that yeah just like cool now this looks really good now I'm happy with this now let's move on to the next one right guys so this ad's going to be a bit different it's going to be kind of like this one here that we just showed before this one here so we're going to make something similar okay right so I've managed to find a picture on the internet of Johnny Depp wearing pretty much the exact same glasses so what I'm going to do now is just make that a little bit bigger and actually what I might do is I'm just going to drag it up a little bit cuz I want his eyes to be in the center line and now this is another really cool feature that uh canver has so we're going to go here and we're going to click on Magic expand and it's now going to fill this in now and it'll give us a few options right cool guys so it's given us a few options here they all look pretty much the exact same I'm just going to go with this one here cool now what I want to do is I just want to go to elements here and I'm now just going to type in G gradient right and it's going to be under a graphic section here so I just want a nice little gradient like this because what I'm going to do is I'm going to put text here and I just want to make it pop a little bit more so I'm just going to make the gradient a little bit bigger than that and I'm going to drag it make it the whole page cool now that looks very good so far so now we're going to go to text we're going to add not this one what we want is we want a heading here and we're going to change a font again I'm going to do popins again this time cool and now I'm just going to make a headline here so I want to capture people's attentions and because because of the fact that it's Johnny Depp he's a celebrity I'm just going to choose this one here so Hollywood's Best Kept best kept secret to improving sleep and productivity right I'm going to make it a little bit smaller now and I'm now going to change this to White because I want it to pop and just there a quite dark background going just bring this in a little bit and I want to make it a little bit smaller so I want it ideally on two lines so here yeah something like that it's a bit too small so I might make it a little bit bigger and what I'm going to do is I'm going to align it like this somewhere like this that' be good a little bit higher cool I'm going to go to effects again and this time I'm going to see now which one looks better now I'm do a lift this time but I want to make it a little bit more intense so about and it just gives it a little bit more of a pop cool now this looks all right right now but I want to make it stand out a little bit more so I'm going to do this and I'm going to make these all blue here just make it a little bit smaller and put it down here and perfect so now we've got three image ads here all clean all simple and remember guys less is more cool now we're going to talk about customizing the template I touched on this before but we what we want to do is we want to make it look congruent which means we want to make it look the same so if you see here when I went through this I've used the exact same colors throughout yeah I've used blue white and black you shouldn't have to have loads of colors in your ads it should be very simple so what I normally go with is I have a white for the text a black for any kind of background text and the blue is for brown color here and you want to make sure that the font that you use it's a nice and easy to read font and you can add your logo if you choose to I've not done it on vs but this is up to you and stuff as well and what you want to do as well is craft compelling headlines and CTA so like I said before we want to sell the benefits and not the future so you want to sit down and you want to think right what are the benefits of my product and what the customers actually want to get out of it you want to keep it concise and impactful so less is more like I said before cool so the best practices now we want to use big bold headlines to grab their attention so in the ads that I made here we can see that the headlines are big we're taking up most of the space here the first thing you're going to see is the headline cool you want to use the same font and color scheme throughout the ads and you want to keep it simple as well so here are some more ideas of a good ads and stuff you can see here they've got a lot of white space around them a very simple headline that's you know simple color scheme stuff like that yeah cool now we're going to dive into making the logo design so like I said before this is going to the theme of less is more is going to carry on here I found that whenever you're making any kind of ads or logos or any kind of design less is more and it goes along where you don't want to do too much you want to keep it simple Okay so we've got loads of great logo templates that you can see here and we're now going to go back to convert and we're just going to make it down here so I'm just going to make a new page here and I'm going to go to the designs again this time I'm going to search for logo so here we have the logo right you got loads of templates here I just want to pick a nice one that just looks very simple cool so I really like this one here I'm going to go with this and now I've got rid of that tagline cuz I don't really want a tagline the logo we're going to make this a little bit bigger here yeah and I'm just going to put this to the side for now I'm going to position this in the center here now I'm going to choose a different font for this I'm going to choose one that's called playfer display cool it's got a bit of a different theme to it now in terms of brand names we already selected a brand name before so I'm going to go with a brand name that we picked before which is eclip just going to make it a little bit smaller now just so F and the full Stop's going to be at the end as well now I'm going to take it off here like this this looks good and we can also go here to the spacing and I'm going to change the letter spacing I'm going to put it a little bit closer together just like that looks great now in terms of this I'm not too sure where if I'm going to use this or not what I like to do is I just go to the elements and stuff here and you can just type in loads of different things so you can type in things like Crown now this obviously came with this template but what I'll do is I'll either put like a crown or like a lightning bolt here lightning bolt you can use loads of these kind of shapes that we've got and stuff and you can add it into your logo here so if I wanted to I could just add this maybe here or maybe here to give it a bit more you know flare and stuff I'm going to keep this very simple I just want like a nice little typography style so I'm going to just make this a little bit bigger here I want it to be going right to the edges of the screen here perfect and I'm just going to put this in the middle now great right I'm happy with our logo now so I didn't mention this before but one important thing is when we're making the logo sizes you want to make two different sizes okay so on the website if we were to use this one here which is a square you'd have a lot of white space here now what I do with this is I go to the resize option here and I'm going to resize this as 450x 250 just going to go back here and I just only want the fourth page here all right cool I'm going to resize this by 450 by 250 and this is going to be what we're going to have in the header so we're going to just make this fill up the whole screen just like this and this is perfect for mobile as well because if you're going to use something like this on mobile you'd have a large amount of white space here and your header will take up a lot of space so we're going to resize it to this size here and that way it'll have a lot less space here now when we're making the favon the favon has to be 500 by 500 so what I could do here is I could just leave it like this or I could just give it a bit something a bit different now when I make the favon I do like to make it a little bit different than the logo and stuff so I could just do something like this like so you see this is a faon faon is a thing that appears here at the top of the tab and this is the logo so I'm quite happy with that now cool right cool guys so some best practices for Logos like I said before you want to keep it minimalistic less is more and I found out nowadays A simpler logo just looks a lot better and a lot cleaner you only need three colors really a white background black text and a brand color which is in our case this blue here that we've used yeah you want to make sure the font is readable and not a wacky font like a handwriting one and you want to make sure the logo is aligned to the center and everything is spaced well with a good amount of white space so you can see we've done that here okay it's got a decent amount of white space here the letters are spaced evenly and it looks very clean and very simple hi guys welcome to the next module of the free course and it's going to be to do with everything Facebook ad related so I'm going to be your instructor for this part of the free course and I'm going to be showing you how to run Facebook ads correctly and effectively so let's get straight into this free course on Facebook ads now you should already have a product in mind that you want to use for your Facebook ads so this is my product it's a set of earrings it's a teardrop earring so this is the product that I'm going to be using throughout the whole video so everything makes sense so before we can actually create our first Facebook campaign we need to make sure that we have everything ready before like the offers and like the creatives because those are the two most important parts of the strategy Facebook ads themselves isn't the important part your creatives and your offer will determine if you're successful or not so the first offer could be buy one get one free now if I go back to my hypothetical product this is going to be the main product the earrings but then I'm going to give them for free the necklace to go with it so the matching necklace is cheaper so I'm going to say the main product is this product here which is the earrings so if they buy this from from me they get the matching necklace for guess what for free now you can see on my Drop Shipping website how this looks so this is the main product itself the earrings and you can see here it says free gift the bracelet worth $29.99 so this is how it should look on your website it should show it exactly here so that when people come here they're going to know straight away that the offer does exist now don't worry I made a whole video talking about how to set offers up on your website so I'll leave that link in the cheat sheet and in the description so you can watch it at the end of this video if you don't have an offer already on your Shopify store or your e-commerce brand now the second offer is something called an aggressive offer and that could be buy one get two gifts free now the gift could be the free product for example the necklace could be an ebook about how to wear fashionable products I can go to a website called plr and I can download a wh labeled ebook for like $2 and have it on my store and commercially use it now the final offer that we have they buy one and they get entered into a $500 giveaway now what this $500 giveaway is is it's $5500 worth of products so obviously they have to buy the main product for $29.99 but by doing that they get entered into a $500 fashion giveaway so I want to quickly show you guys a few examples of other brands doing this on the ad so you can see I'm on the ad library and you can see these guys are selling a pair of sunglasses you can see this ad here says buy one and get a free on or prescription frame so basically a free set so that's their offer right there now the other ad says don't miss out on our latest style with buy one get one free so they've basically rewarded did it in a different way now we can see another brand here doing it and they're selling jewelry and it says here Third Year Anniversary buy one get two free you can see this ad here says have you ready for the gift season buy one get any other free with a code free so they're asking you to add it as a code at the checkout and you get any other product on the website for completely free now this is a famous Drop Shipping Store it's the cloud shark slides and they've done a really good job of this because they've actually used an image creative to show what they're trying to give us an off so you can see here it says buy two get one free and they're using an image instead of the text to illustrate that and they're also including the offer in the ad copy saying cozy F buy two get one free 60% off all collection so they're being very aggressive by putting it in the image and putting it in the ad copy so that's the first critical step that you must ensure you've done before you run any Facebook ads cuz you've got to understand that Facebook ads is a bidding platform you're bidding against all the advertisers for people's attention and people's sales now you're only going to get that if you come across the most attractive and that is the best way of doing it so let's go over how many creatives you need and the stars that you need so you're going to need three stars of creatives you're going to need three videos you will only use one to start with and the format that you should go for is 4x5 or 1X one in my opinion 4x5 is better than 1X one so you should aim for this formation now you want to try three different styles of videoos so for example one could be ugc one could be POV one could be a little bit more laid back so you want to have three very different styles of videos that you're going to be using now the next thing that you're going to need is three imag you will only use one to start with and again the format is the same as the video you might want to try a model shot you might want to try a mockup shot and then you might want to try an aesthetically pleasing shot like it being on the floor or the item being on a nice background now before we move on with actually setting up our first campaign let's talk about where you can get creatives made I've made a whole video talking about how to shoot content and how to turn it into an ad so I'll also leave the link to that video in the description and in the cheat sheet so now that brings us to the best part of the video which is creating our Facebook ads now before we can create an ad we need to know what numbers we're working on because remember numbers are the key to success here so we're going to bring you to a Ras calculator so this will be linked in the cheat sheet and in the description this is a Ras calculator so Ras stands for return on ad spend this is the most important metric when you go into advertising now Ras works on any advertising platform because it's the key metric for profitability now this calculator makes your life very easy because all you've got to do is put your cost of goods here so my cost of goods including shipping shipping and the product cost is $4 then I'm selling it on my website for $29.99 now if you come here it will tell you what your break even rows is so it's saying that my break even row as is 1.2 so what does that mean that when I go on Facebook later and I show you this in the column section if my Ras is above 1.2 that means I'm making money if it's below it means I'm losing money so that number is so important for me so I've got to aim for when I launch ads and I'll talk about about this later on because there a time and a place to use this number then it means that I'm profitable or if I'm at that number it means that I'm breaking even now you should never launch a Facebook ad or any ad if you do not know what your row as is because you're going to be shooting in the dark room so as you guys can see on my computer screen I'm inside of the Facebook ads manager and you can see six campaigns now don't worry about these six campaigns I've just made them pre video to make my life a little bit easier when I record this I'm going to be showing you exactly how to set up each one of these campaigns and where you should be setting them up and what is the purpose of them and what you can expect from them now if you're watching this and your ads manag is ready to go you've got everything connected the first thing that you want to do is create a campaign by hitting this green button in the top left then once you've done that it's going to say buying type make sure it's auction again Facebook ads is an auction platform then where it says choose campaign objective you're going to do sales then once you've selected those you want to hit continue now it's going to bring you to a page like this where it says Advantage shopping campaign or manual sales campaign you're always going to want to go with manual setup so select it and click continue then it's going to say campaign name now the campaign name should be called testing campaign and then the product name and then broad so you can see here it says testing campaign then whatever your product name is and then broad top six so we're going to be doing top six in this campaign and explain what that is later on now when you're in the testing phase I always recommend that you give yourself a budget that you're willing to give a product before you kill it now for me personally when I drop ship I always give my product a random about $300 to $500 and that's the amount spent on ads it has nothing to do with anything else so that means that I'm willing to throw $500 at my Facebook ads and if my product within those $500 doesn't show me any promising signs that I'll get on to later then I will kill it now the reason why I'm telling you this now is because you have to mentally digest this before you even create a campaign for this to work now once we've got that under the B guys we don't need to mess with anything else so we're going to hit next now where it says ad set name we're going to come back to the later now you're going to want to make sure that conversion location is website you're going to want to make sure that you're going for maximized number of conversion the pixel is the pixel installed on your Shopify so make sure you choose it then you're going to want to keep scrolling down to where it says budget now the budget is important because if your product is priced over $50 you're going to want to go for $20 if your product's priced under $50 you're going to want to go for $10 if your product's priced over $100 then you're going to want to go for $25 and if your products pric over $150 you're going to want to go for $30 so make sure you listen to that and all that info is in the cheat sheet so as soon as you figured out what your product is selling for mine is $29.99 so that means I'm under $50 and my adset should be $10 now where it says start date you should always go for the next day midnight and you should do that for all adsets that we get onto later so that way they spend at the same time so the next day is going to be Friday and then we're going to set this on 0 0 now the next thing that we need to do is scroll down to where it says all audience locations and you want to click edit now the locations that we want to do to start with is the UK the US Canada New Zealand Australia and Ireland so they're the top six countries that I always start with now I'm not going to add them here now cuz I want to save a little bit of time so make sure you add the ones I just mentioned then you're going to see here where it says Advantage audience this is a new feature that Facebook's created where they do the targeting for you so back in the day you used to have to Target interest for Facebook to look for now Facebook's algorithms got so smart they can figure out for you this is what I was trying to say to you guys at the intro the offer and the creative is more important than anything else so for this ad set we're going to leave it as it is and then where it says placement again we're going to let Facebook determine that through their smart engine so you want to go back up to your adset name so you can see I've named my adset broad Advantage Plus audience 10 so I've basically put the name of whatever I've done in the adset that way I know which one's which so if I come down later on look at my campaign structure my adset levels and I want to kill or scale I know which is which so I don't get confused then what you want to do is Click next in the top right now for those that don't know I'm going to give you a quick rundown if you come to the top left you're going to see a folder four boxes and a little image of one square now the folder is the campaign the four boxes is the adset and the adset is all the targeting and the one little box is the ad the ad is what they're visually going to see now the first ad name is going to be called video offer one now why are we calling it video offer one because it's going to be the first video that that we have out of the three and it's going to be the offer which is the non-aggressive offer as the one in the ad copy and in the creative now obviously you want to select your Facebook page then you want to scroll down to where it says manual upload single image or video multi- Advertiser you can put on as it's recommended then where it says media you want to click add media add video and this is where you're going to want to upload your video so in this instance I've already uploaded mine so I'm going to click it and click next then once you've done that you want to scroll down to where it says primary text I've put mine as embrace the limit glow Exquisite earrings for every occasion find yours with a free gift so in the primary text this is what they're going to see here you can see here the preview I'll show you this later now I've mentioned the offer being a free gift now if we scroll down the headline is the big thick text that you're going to see here and I put buy one get free bracelet now in the description I put free track shipping and then as a call to action I obviously put shop now the website URL should be the product page that you're trying to sell now you should always preview the URL to make sure that it's working before you even launch your ads and if we scroll down you've got something called website tracking and you you have something called UTM parameters now this is so so important Facebook tracking because of the iOS updates and all these other things coming out has tarnished the tracking of Facebook so if you want accurate tracking you do need to set up UTM it's free to do it now we've made a complete video about UTM parameters so I'll leave that again in the link to the cheat sheet cuz it's a whole different topic that can take up a bit of time but you don't have to use UTM you can just go no UTM but it means that when you try and track the data later it might not be completely accurate so just bear that in mind before you launch your campaign now once you've done this you want to duplicate this where it says video offer you're going to click duplicate and you're going to change it to two copies and then click duplicate now you should see three ads now two of them saying copy and the one which is the original now you're going to want to change this to image offer one and then you're going to change the next one to Carousel offer one so you can see I've already done it here so this one's called Carousel offer one so what we've done here is we've added a carousel so a carousel is an image slideshow now this works extremely well for fashion related products or products that are wearable that don't need explaining so if your product is a non- explaining product meaning that it doesn't need to be explained because it's a jewelry product or a wearable product you want to run a carousel now if your product needs explaining because it's quite a technical product it does something it's a problem solver then I would recommend that you stay away from image ads and you do three videos instead of doing Carousel an image you're going to do three videos and each video is going to be a different video so you're going to go Carousel offer you're going to scroll down to where it says manual upload you're going to select Carousel now you're going to scroll down it's going to say add at least two cards you want to click add image card and then you can add an image I've already uploaded my images and the best thing for carousals are honestly congruent images so these images here are the same so they're from the same model and the same person if you use image carousels and they are to different people or different scenes or scenarios it's not going to work they have to look like it's from the same place now you want to add three cards so you want to add three different images you can see I've added one there I've added another one here and I've added another one here now again the headline the description the URL is all going to be the same the only change you're making is literally the image for the carousel then if you scroll down the primary text is going to be the same as the one that you use for the video now where it says Carousel optimization I only have automatically the best performing card the other two I actually turn off now the call to action is always going to remain shop now and it's going to be the same URL that you're using on your other AD now what I like to do with carouses is always preview how they look because it's important so I'm going to click expand I always look at the desktop version as it's bigger and you can see here this is what my carousal is going to look like remember it's got to look like when I look at it it's a natural carousal it's from the same people so you can see here this looks really nice and you only want to use high quality images if your images aren't high quality they're not going to work now once you've done that you're then going to go to your image offer then all you're going to do is Click single image or video now when it comes to single image ads I like to go for a very harsh very strong looking image that's going to Captivate people's attention so I've gone for a very sharp model shot of a Sharp image of the model now you're probably thinking why is it sharp cuz obviously if you're looking at the image it's a very sharp looking image in terms of the way the model's looking the angle of the model how it's being worn the eye contact all of that stuff is classes sharpness so that's what I'm going to want to go for remember you have one image to try and get somebody's attention so you're going to have to use the best image you've got now this is the last time I'm going to remind you guys if you're selling a problem solving product that needs an explanation you're not doing Carousel you're not doing image you're doing three videos with the same offit and then you're done now once you've done your three creatives you're going to want to go back to the adset level click duplicate and you're going to want to duplicate this four times so you can see I can change the number of copies to four and then I'm going to hit duplicate now once you've done that you're going to see on the left hand side all of this has now been added to your campaign structure now don't get worried you've done all the hard work you're only making incremental changes now for the rest of the setup so the changes that you're going to do are to the adset level so these blue ones here with the four boxes are the only things that you're changing and all you're changing is when you click on it you're going to see the ones that says copy at the end they're the ones you're changing you're going to scroll all the way down to where it says audience Advantage then you're going to click audience suggestion so this is what you're going to do for the first one you're actually going to give Facebook's algorithm a suggestion now I'm selling a jewelry product so I'm obviously going to want to do jewelry related interest so you can see here I've added jewelry and appal to this ad set so that way I'm giving Facebook a little bit of an idea of who I'm looking for now something that I forgot to mention that I should have mentioned before is you want to change the age to 21 to 65 that way you're not going to get teenagers that can't buy your product looking at your product now once you made that change you're going to want to scroll up and add that to your ad set name so you know what you've done so you're going to call it broad interest audience plus jewelry that way you know he's still doing audience plus now for the next ad set I'm going to want to scroll all the way down and this time I'm actually going to want to turn this completely off now you might be thinking how do I turn this completely off you can see here where it says switch to original audience option if you click this click use original audience you can now see is giving you the old way of doing it so if you scroll all the way down now you're going to see where it says add demographics or behaviors now this is where you're also going to want to add things that are related to your product so now I might want to type in bracelet necklace and those are the type of interests that people are also interested in that are also interested in my product it's honestly common sense if you're selling let's say sportsware you're going to want to Target maybe sports teams you're going to want to Target Sports magazines you're going to want to target sports brands that are famous it's just common sense guys now once you've done that you want to scroll back up and change the name now of course if you've turned Advantage off then you're going to want to mention that you've done that now the next one that you might want to do you might want to keep Advantage turned on again but just give it a suggestion then on the last one you might want to turn advant AG off again and give it a hard interest that way you're testing is Facebook's algorithm good or is it better if I give Facebook the interest themselves that way you're seeing which one's better for your campaign now once you've done all that guys you're going to want to hit click publish in the bottom right now if you go back to the campaign level you should see your campaign right here you can see testing campaign product name broad top six you can see the original campaign that you just made now if you've got a large budget then I'd recommend that you do the next step now if you don't have a large budget I'd recommend that you watch The Next Step so you can learn from it but just don't do it so what we're going to do if you have a larger budget is test different countries out in a separate campaign so we've done the top six in this one so we're going to want to click on the highlight button here click duplicate then all you're going to do in the duplicated one is change the campaign name from top six to EU meaning we're going to Target European countries and then in the adset level we're going to want to scroll down to all the adsets that we've made but we're going to change the country so you can see here now I'm doing Switzerland Germany Netherlands Norway Sweden and I'm going to give you a list of all the best countries in the cheat sheet now you might be thinking why are we trying European countries in an additional campaign again if you've got a larger budget it makes sense because some European countries actually for some products outperform the top six so it's worth if you've got the extra budget to try it because if it actually performs better then that's good news cuz it means you're going to get cheaper results and you're going to be able to scale in the European countries the top six are the most expensive to advertise to so if you can find Winners in Europe then long term you're going to be more profitable so all you're doing in this campaign guys is literally going into each ad set level and changing the countries to those European countries that I mentioned here and in the cheat sheet now once you've done that you're going to click publish and if you're following the extra budget strategy where you're doing the extra campaign you should now see two campaigns the testing broad top six testing broad EU now if you're only doing one campaign which is the top six you're going to be spending $50 a day if your product's under $50 and if it's over you're going to be doing 100 a day and the most you'll ever get up to on the strategy $250 a day so remember normally most of you guys that are watching this are going to be at $50 a day now once you've published your campaign guys you're going to see that it's in delivery or it's under review then once the midnight comes the next day they should start running and you're going to let them run for one day before we even criti them and then I'm going to give you guys in the next few moments the criti and steps like the killing and scaling methods so guys now our campaigns are running we're going to give it 24 hours before we look at anything now the first thing that we're going to look for is the CPC now if your cost per click is greater than $150 then turn off the adset and replace it with a new one now it's so important that this metric here and this rule is applied for drop shippers and not Ecom Brands you can see here I mentioned what to do if you're an e-commerce brand in the cheat sheet now I'm not going to read it here cuz I don't want to waste too much time but this is what to do if you're an Ecom brand this is why we apply this 24-hour rule to take out any adsets that exceeded a CPC of $150 after the first 24 hours so what you want to do is you want to go back to your ads manager go to the campaign section click on your testing campaign or testing campaigns if you have two then click adset then in the adsets you're now going to see your adsets and the metrics now you need to make sure you got the right column setups you want to go to columns here in the top right and then you want to click customize columns now I'm not going to go over which columns you need now I'm going to leave it in the cheat sheet so you can add them yourself they are so easy to do now once you've added those columns you want to see CPC which is right here and you want to make sure that your adsets have have a CPC under $1150 now if your ad account is like mine and it's in British Pounds or in Euro just turn it into Euro or pound so if it's over150 I would turn it off now all of my adsets are under $150 so I can keep them on for the next 72 hours remember we're leaving them running for 3 days but the first hurdle is 24 hours and that's always the CPC rule of being under $150 now these rules that I'm telling you apply to every adet that you run regard of it's in a scaling campaign it's in a testing campaign this rule has to be applied all the time so you don't overspend on bad things now if your adset was over $150 what you'd simply do is turn it off go to the adset that has the cheapest CPC so you can see here I'm looking for the cheapest CPC and the cheapest CPC is this one right here so I would click it I would click duplicate and then I would add a different interest or I wouldn't add any interest at all if I'm doing non-interest or if I am doing nonin then might add an interest here so after 3 days it's time to come back and check the results again in the next part of the video we're going to mention some metrics that will be used to check the ad performance if you do not see any of the metrics in your Facebook ads manager like I said previously add them in the columns now the first thing that you want to check for after 3 days which is 72 hours is if you got a sale that's literally it did you get a sale on your adset or did you not now if no adset got a sale after 3 days it's time to turn it off and replace it with a new one then once you've turned off the Bad ad sets and duplicated them and changed them you can publish it again that's all you need to do check your purchase column and replace any adsets that have no purchase after 3 days of running them now in the columns that I mentioned in the cheat sheet you're going to see one that says conversions or complete payment they're the ones that you want to look for now you want to repeat this process until you reach a loss of $300 up to $500 knowe that this is a loss not an amount spent as your ads may be running which you might get S so let's say you've spent $500 but you've had three sales and you've made $100 in sales that means you've only made $400 in spend so until you get at a loss of 500 then you make the decision to kill the product or rerun it again with new creatives or try the offer to be aggressive now after your first 3-day check you should at least have an adset that ran until day five if it has a sale and on day five you should check the RAS if the RAS is above above Break Even Ras then congrat ulations you have a potential winning audience if you have an adet that passes your 5day check it's a good idea to try and scale it now remember not every ad set that passes the 5-day check will be scalable but finding your first scalable one is how you transition from testing to scaling your product the scaling phase is when you maximize your profit now for those that might be getting confused remember you're running the ads till day five unless it's got a CPC over $150 now if it gets to Day free you need to make sure that it's got a sale now even if it's not profitable on day three you still let it run now on day five you now want to see if it's profitable now if one adset is profitable you can then enter on day five a scaling phase now if you isn't you need to go back to what I say in previously and retest so this is how you scale a winning adset so it's an adet that on day five is profitable and it's making money cuz it's above your break even so what you do is you go into your original campaign by go into campaign clicking on your original and let's say hypothetically this one here is got a break even over and it's on day five we're then going to click the duplicate button right here then we're going to click new campaign then we're going to change the number of copies to three and we're going to change the campaign name to horizontal scaling campaign so in this campaign everything Remains the Same you can see here we got horizontal scaling campaign now if it's a bit messy on the left hand side remember that the folder is your campaign name so you can see here is's another folder but this is the testing campaign so we got to ignore anything below this so anything above this is the new campaign now what we're doing guys is we're scaling horizontally now scaling horizontally means that you're duplicating what's winning you're not increasing the budget you're just increasing the amount of adsets now why are we increasing the amount of adsets because it comes to something called the adset pocket Theory the adset pocket Theory means that when you launch an ad set and let's say it's a winning adet your ad set's only going to hit a certain amount of people within that audience so you can see here on the right hand side it's saying that the audience size is 125 million now not one adset is going to hit 125 million people so that's why we got to scale horizontally because more adsets are going to attack more people in this audience now once you've duplicated your winning ad set three times in this new horizontal campaign you can click publish now remember if you've got three winning adsets you'll duplicate those three winning adsets three times into this horizontal campaign now if for some reason it doesn't scale effectively and it doesn't work we're now going to try scaling it vertically so we're going to go back to the original campaign again click on the adset that we want to duplicate click duplicate then create a new campaign and we're going to want to call this one vertical scaling campaign with a product name and we're going to want to copy the number of copies once only duplicating it once and I'll explain why in a minute so you can see here I've got my vertical scaling campaign here the only thing we're changing in this adet is we're going to scroll down to where it says budget and we're going to in increase it by $20 so I like to increase it by $20 every successful period so let's say for example I publish this now and after 5 days it's profitable again that means it's a period so after that 5 days I'm then going to increase it to $60 now after day five if it's profitable I'm going to edit the actual ad set and now increase it from 30 to guess what $50 I'm incrementally changing it by $20 every single time after to the period of it being successful now if after the next 5 days it doesn't get profitable then I'm going to drop it by 10 now this is called scaling vertically that basically means you're scaling with budget not by duplication so your spending is actually going to focus on more people instead of the ad pocket so this is the type of scaling now the reason why we have to try both methods is because one will work better on your ad account now if you're comfortable enough and confident enough you can make changes now the change I would only make if you're comfortable enough is by looking at the data now how you would look at the data is you'd go back to your campaign and you'd go to the ad level and what you would do is You' look at the metrics and say okay based on these metrics this creative is the winning creative so if you've been testing three different videos or Carousel image or video then the one that's working the best is the only ad that you use in the scaling campaign now the next thing that you have to understand is when you're in these 5day periods again if you're profitable you're just increasing the load by 30 to 50% so if you're scaling horizontally and after the 5-day period you're making more money on those duplicates you're then going to duplicate the duplicates now whilst you're doing all of this guys you should try and launch new creatives in a testing creative campaign or in the original campaign so in the original campaign you're now introducing new adsets that are running with new creatives now you should be rolling new creatives at least once a week one one new creative a week is the minimum I like to do 10 new creatives a week now that's very aggressive but one is the minimum so guys the next scaling method or the next Advanced strategy is look Alik audiences now look alike audiences had a bad moment for the last few months year but they've started to do really well again now what I like to do with lookalike audiences is wait now lookalike audiences only work if you've got enough data so if you get into the strategy too early on it's not going to work so I like to say that as long as you've spent at least 2,00 or you've been running the product for around about 3 to 4 weeks then it's the right time to use this strategy now again only if you're either break and even or you're profitable so how you get into this strategy is you're going to want to open up a new ads manager on a new tab you're going to want to come here in the top left click all tools and you're going to go want to go to where it says audiences then you want to click where it says create a custom audience so I'm going to show you guys how to do a few of these because it's very similar to do all of these now if you get stuck on one of them you can literally go on Facebook's blog and figure it out but I'm going to show you guys how to do let's say video views and content views or Instagram so if we're going to want to do video views we're going to want to go video click next go to where it says choose a type of content and then you're going to want to do these ones this one this one this one this one and then this one and then for each one of these you have to choose a video so you obviously want to choose the videos that got the most views then once you've selected all the videos with the views you're going to then click confirm then where it says retention we're going to do 90 days then audience name is going to be video views all and then 90 days and then once you've done that you're going to click create audience now when you create an audience that has to populate which means Facebook has to populate it which can take around about 1 to two days now once you come back here it will tell you if it's populated or not if it hasn't populated do not use it cuz it will not work properly now the next one you're going to want to do is Click create audience again then this time you're going to go Instagram account you're going to click next then where it says everyone who engag with Prof professional account you're going to want to go all the way down to the one that says account Center people who engage with any post or ad then you're going to change this to 90 days again then you want to call this one instagram engagement and then you want to hit create audience now if you go back to create custom audience it's the same for Facebook now to do the rest guys you need to go back to create audiences and you can select the rest through one of these drop- down menus you can either figure it out by just clicking on them and clicking the drop downs or you can just Google how to do the rest I don't want to cover every single one of these in the video cuz it would honestly take too long now once you've created your audiences and they've populated you then want to go to where it says look alike audience and click create a lookalike audience now for this one you're going to want to go to where it says select lookalike audience and then you're going to want to go to where it says other sources and it should show on here now if it doesn't show here on other sources try value based sources and it might show on here now it depends cuz sometimes it glitches out and shows on one or the other but you should see your custom audience on one of these then once you've done this it's going to say select audience location now you want to select the locations that you've been using when you've been targeting on Facebook so you've been doing top six then select the top six now sometimes some ad accounts won't let you choose the audience location so if it gives you the option not to choose then you don't need to worry then once you've done that it's going to say select audience size then it's going to say number of lookalike audiences you're going to do one but you're going to change the percentage to five that way the lookalike audience that you're creating isn't directly the exact same as somebody that's looked at your ads before they're going to be in the middle that way is an equilibrium of the kind of people that you want to then look at now look Alik audiences basically you trying to tell Facebook here are people that have visited certain things on my company website videos I want you to try and find people that are similar to them based on this data so by you choosing five it's a medium look at other people then once you've done that you're going to click create audience and you need to do that for all the ones your engagement your video views all the six that I put in the cheat sheet now once you've made your custom audiences and your look Al likes which should be six different look Al likes and it should be the same ones in that cheat sheet again if you have any issues there's loads of other videos on YouTube that will help you do that section or you can read Facebook's Forum or blogs now once you've done that guys you're going to want to hit create you're going to create a brand new campaign you're going to go sales again you're going to click continue then you're going to want to choose manual setup again and click continue now this time you're going to change the campaign name to laa which stands for look alike audiences and then the product name so you can see here my campaign is called La scaling product name now what you want to do is you want to create an ad set and in this ad set you're going to call it the looker likee name so this one's going to be called Instagram engagement 60 days so I'm going to scroll all the way down I'm going to keep going all the way down now the budget is going to remain at the testing budget so I always test it on $10 so I'm going to keep it at 10 the stting schedule date is midnight the next day that all stays the same then when we scroll down we're going to be going back to normal audiences so you don't want to use Advantage Plus you need to turn Advantage Plus off for this to work so you're going to want scroll all the way down and you're see something called custom audiences you're going to click this and then you're going to see your look alike audience here if you've created it properly now this adset is called Instagram engagement so this one's going to be the Instagram engagement lookalike audience now it's going to show you locations now if you created the locations in the lookalike audiences then you can delete the locations here or if it didn't ask you to add locations in the lookalike you're going to add them here now where it says detail Target and you don't need to worry about this cuz it's all done through your custom audience then you can move on to your creative now your creative is going to be the winning creative so whichever is the best performing creative based on CTR and sales you're going to use that for your look alike you can see one adset one cretive which is the winner now you're going to want to duplicate this ad set five times so in total you have six adsets now why have you got six adsets because your other adsets are going to be the next look alike audience name which is Facebook engagement 60 days then the next one's going to be content views 90 days then the next one's going to be add to C 90 days remember to change this in the custom audience section so this campaign is literally designed for that theory now once you fil all this in correctly you can then click publish then once you've done that guys you've got yourself a looker like campaign that is now running and it should generate you some really good sales and they should be very profitable because they are based on people that are similar to your current customers now remember each campaign you run is the same rules 24-hour rule 3-day Rule and 5day Rule now the good news guys is I've got one last scaling method for you that I use to take my drop shipping stores and my e-commerce Brands to seven figures now this is a CBO scaling campaign so what you want to do is you want to go back to where it says create you want to then go back to sales again click continue go to manual setup click continue now this is where things get interesting because we're going to change the name to CBO scaling and then the product name but we're actually going to turn on this section here Advantage campaign budget plus so we're going to click this and now you can see it says daily budget then you can see campaign bid strategy highest volume keep it as it is and then you can see here the budget now cbos only work well if you have three adsets in them now how cbos work is instead of you spending the budget on the adset level the campaign spends on which adset they think is performing the best now cbos again only work well if you've got three adsets in them now you can either duplicate the winning ad set if you only have one winning ad set you duplicate that three times into this CBO or what I prefer to do is have three winning adset which means there's three different audiences that are winning and I like to put them in here so let's say jewelry is a winning audience let's say bracelets a winning audience and let's say for example fashion is a winning audience so those three adsets would go into here so once I've changed the budget I'm going to change it to $100 you always start at $100 no matter what and you work your way up later which I'll explain so once you've changed the budget to $100 you're then going to go to the ad set level and the quickest way to do this is to actually delete the adset then close the campaign down like this and if you go to campaign you're going to see the new one right here then the best thing to do is to go to your testing campaign open it up click on the winning one so let's say this is a winning ad set this is the winning ad set this is the winning ad set then I'm going to click duplicate up here and then it's going to say existing campaign I'm going to select that then I'm going to choose the CBO campaign you can see here CBO scalings coming up then number of copies one and then that way you've got those ad sets with the winning ad already in the campaign and then once it's in the campaign you can just click publish now once your new CBO is running you're then going to have to do again the 24-hour rule but then on the fifth day if you're then seeing success being profitable what you do is you change the CBO budget now I like to change the CBO budget between $50 to $100 now this depends on how profitable you are now let's say your break even row and my instance is 1.2 and my row as after 5 days is on 2.3 that's very good I might would increase it by $50 on day five now let's say another 5 days is gone and now my row as in the campaign's at 4 I then might want to increase it by guess what 100 which is being more aggressive now if after another 5 days it drops I might want to then lower it by 50 so I'm lowering it by 50 to 25 depending on how bad it drops now you keep that going till as high as you can get a CBO sometimes I've talk cbos to 10K a day sometimes I've talk them to 5K a day it depends how far you can take them whilst they remain Stars 13,000 reviews and that's the one now you do not want to install this just yet you do need to wait a few minutes now before we can even set up our Tik Tok shop sales Channel if you want to get get access to the Us and other countries and you're outside of those countries you need to follow this strategy right now now the first thing you need to do is turn on a VPN now the VPN that I use cuz I think it's by far the best is nordvpn as you can see here so I'm going to click it then once you've got an account with one of these VPN services like I said my favorite is nordvpn you want to connect to the United States then make sure you are connected to your VPN to the US then once you've connected to your VPN before you download that sales Channel go back to my YouTube description and then you're going to see here a few lines down get up to $11,500 in free Tik Tok ads credit when you use one of my links below so you can see here there's four different countries that you can use us UK Canada or Australia and if you use one of these links that is more suited to you then you can get up to $1,500 in free credit to use to run ads on your Tik Tok account now in my example I'm going to click the us because I got a US VPN turned on and once you've done that it will take to a page like this that says limit time offer spend $100 and get $100 for free spend $500 and you get $500 for free so you can't get the bonus unless you spend money so even if you spend $100 you're getting $100 for free and it goes all the way up to $1,500 so you get literally like for like up to $1,500 in free credit as long as you spend the money then you want to enter this information which says industry business name and mobile number then where it says industry select anything underneath the e Commerce tab or if yours isn't showing just click other then business name should be the same one as your Shopify name now as you are signing up as a US account you can change the phone number to details your company name region and country are you an agency put no full name email address industry that you're in monthly budget you can set to whatever you want and then mobile number again company website and do you advertise on any other platforms now where it says company website make sure it is a legit domain name don't do what I've done here which is add one of those pre-made domain names that Shopify gives you you do need a legit ww. doain for this to actually work then once you filled all that in guys just hit the next button then you're going to get greeted with a screen that looks like this which says submitted successfully we'll contact you as soon as possible you should get a response within a few hours of them approving your sign up page then once once they've approved you you want to go back to your Shopify app store download the Tik Tok sales Channel make sure you're still connected to your VPN as you can see here I'm going to click download install as a sales Channel then it's going to bring you to another page that looks like this where it says install app they need access click install you want to go to where it says grow your business on Tik Tok and you want to click setup here underneath Tik Tok Mark and you want to click setup now now this is where things get extremely important it's then going to say Tik Tok for business connect your business Tik Tok now once they they verified your sign up you're either going to get another email asking you to create a business account for Tik Tok or what you can do is you can create one right now so you can see here in the top right it says create new or connect now if you've already created one because you received an email after asking you to create one then you can just connect it to the one that you just made if not click create new now once you click the connect button if you have made an account it should show it here on the screen if it isn't the right one you can click switch us it and you can log into the correct one and like I said before if you haven't got one just click create new in this instance mine is correct so I'm going to hit connect then it's going to ask you to connect or create a brand new Tik Tok business account center now if yours isn't showing then you do need to click create new now if there is one showing just click connect then it's going to ask you to connect to a Tik Tok ads manager now you can either create a new one or connect it to an existing one now as you guys are primarily probably going to do this from as a beginner you're probably going to have to create a new one so if there isn't one showing up just click create new then it's going to ask you for data and sharing you want to make sure that it's on maximum and then it's going to ask you about a pixel now you want to create a new pixel and it should show it right here and it should show the date and time it was made then once you've done all of that it should bring you back to the Tik Tok Channel overview and it should say pending here where it says Tik Tok marketing and it should literally take around about 5 minutes for it to be approved or it can take a few hours so make sure you refresh the page every few minutes to make sure that it's done then once your Tik Tok marketing has been approved within the Tik Tok Channel overview you then want to create a campaign not by clicking the button here but by going to the Tik Tok ads manager directly now for those that don't know how to get to the Tik Tok ads manager correctly literally just type into Google Tik Tok ads manager and it will ask you to log in and once you've logged in it should take you to your overview that looks very similar to the one that I've got right now then once you're here in this dashboard come to the top left where you got this grid and go to where it says ads manager then it's going to show you your business centers and your ads manager make sure you click the account underneath ads manager and not Business Center then once you've done that guys it's going to bring you to a brand new dashboard that shows dashboard campaign tours analytics and it should look something similar to mine now the first thing that you want to quickly do is go to where it says today spend and it should say payment quickly click payment and what you want to do here guys is you want to add a payment method so you can see here in the bottom left it says manage payment methods now I've got a few already added but make sure you've added a payment method you can use PayPal or use a debit card either one is completely fine then once you've added a payment method you do need to add a balance by clicking this button and what it does is it adds a balance to your account that you can use so guys we're now into step two of this tutorial which is the content that you need for your ti Tik Tok ads so in this content example in this video I'm going to be using Drop Shipping as the platform as reference now this is a Drop Shipping product that I found that I want to use for this product strategy so in terms of me running ads to this product on Tik Tok now I'm not going to be talking about how to find winning products for Tik Tok ads I've made other videos about that so I'll leave it linked in the cheat sheet and in the description now once you've got your product in mind and you know which one you want to use on Tik Tok it's important that you go to the Tik Tok shop Sal Center because inside of the Tik Tok shop seller center you're going to find a lot of videos that are going to help you figure a lot of stuff out now if you haven't got a Tik Tok shop seller center I do recommend that you make one very quickly because you're going to get access to this tool that is completely free that can really help you when it comes to making good content now if you do not want to create a Tik Tok shop seller center I will be showing you an alternative in the next few moments but let's say hypothetically you've created a Tik Tok shop seller center you want to go to where it says live and video you're going to see something called shoppable videos then it's going to take you to a page that's like this that says shoppable videos it's going to say overview get inspired create content or content data you want to go to where it says get inspired then you want to filter it by top sales and then you want to select the niche that you're in now my product is in the toys and hobbies Niche now you might be thinking why am I getting you guys to look at this this is Tik Tok shop data that Tik Tock is showing you that is showing you videos that have made six figures and seven figures so these videos are printing like nobody's business you must use a similar strategy to what these guys are doing now you can filter this by duration and upload time now in my opinion neither of them really matter in this instance now what you want to do here guys is you want to scroll through all the pages that are available now on here there's around about 20 pages and you want to look for something that is as close to your product as possible now you can see here on page one there is nothing similar to my product so I'm going to go to page two so on page two I found two videos that are very similar to the product that I'm selling you can see here this is some for of card game this is some form of card game now you want to make sure that you're listening to these with volume so you understand how this video was done was it done with a voice over was it done with music how was this done now unfortunately on Tik Tok shop seller center you can't actually watch the official video you can't get a link to it you just have to watch it from here now if we go back to AliExpress this is a similar industry to me this is a card game that I'm trying to sell this is a card game that somebody's promoting and making a lot of money with so in this video you can see what they're doing is they've opened up the pack of cards they giving you a nice example of what they look like in this video they're quickly scrolling through the game to show you what's inside of the card game now I'm on page six and I've seen another video here called Uno no mercy and it's another card game showing me a video that's doing really well right now so what I want to do is I want to either screen grab this so that I can send it to somebody if they're going to make me a video so I can show them what's currently working or I can give them the link now in this instance you can't copy the link so it's best just to take a screen grab so that you can show it to somebody if they're going to make the content for you so that's the first strategy to finding videos that will help you make viral videos for your Tik Tok ads the second strategy is to come straight to Tik Tok and search for the niche or the industry that you're in so for example I've searched for card game I've sorted it by top and you can see there's card games that are getting 7.5 million views you can see 1.5 mil I views so what I simply want to do is just watch these videos and see what makes them do so well so you can see I found a video here that says go hard or go home and if I read the page name it matches the game that means that this page is primarily designed for this product so you can see if I open up this page they are just posting videos of this one product now what I want to do is I want to find their most viral and their most viewed video so I can replicate that for my own card game and the key here guys is just to get lots of different accounts posting similar content to your product or find lots of videos and add them to either Apple notes or Google Docs so that you can send it to a video editor or a video creator so they know what types of videos do well for you so the method here guys is to find lots of different angles that they're using to grab your attention so when you're analyzing these videos make sure that the hook which is what they're using to grab your attention is different because the whole idea here is to create different videos that have different offers or different angles Les or different Hawks you don't want to use the same ones on Tik Tok because then you won't know if your creative is the problem now when it comes to actually getting the physical content itself for your own product you've got two options you can either order the product from Amazon to your house or if it's your own Ecom product you've already got it and you can shoot the content yourself and then edit yourself which makes more sense because it's going to be more affordable and it's going to be cheaper to do you're only paying for the product to get delivered to your house and then all you're doing is creating the content and everyone has a smartphone these days so you can create the content now if you're happy to get the product to your house and create the content yourself but you just don't know how to do it then the good news is I've created another video teaching you guys step by step how to create viral videos for your Tik Tok products now the second option that you've got is you can hire a freelancer on Fiverr or you can hire somebody through any other Avenue and you can pay them to make the content for you either they'll repurpose the content or they'll get their own unique content by ordering the product and they do it for you so those are the two options you've got so guys this is the part of the tutorial that you've all been waiting for which is the actual strategy itself now there are a few notes that I want to quickly go over before I actually create the first campaign with you now these are notes based on Facebook ads now a lot of you guys that are watching the strategy today are used to running Facebook ads and I'm probably going to think that it's exactly the same and it is not so what I want to go over with you is in the cheat sheet so as soon as you get access to that by hitting 2,000 likes on this video you're going to be able to see this yourself so the notes that I've written down is if you are coming from a Facebook ads background the first thing to keep in mind when running Tik Tok ads although it looks very similar to Facebook ads the algorithm operates with a very significant difference the first and probably most important for anyone test some products is that on Tik Tok ads interest targeting is not quite as sharp as Facebook yet so when you select interest they're not quite as good as what Facebook used to be so what I mean by that is when you target interest on Tik Tok the ones that are not even close to what your product is let's say I'm selling a card game I might Select Cars or outdoors and that might work even better than an interest that is more likely correlated to my product let's say toys and hobbies so what I'm trying to say here is Tik Tok hasn't quite figured out yet how to get their interest to actually match the audience so what a lot of you guys would do if you come from Facebook is just select the interest that matches your audience the most and that doesn't work the best now the key to success on Tik Tok ads is you want to try and sell products that have a very wide Mass Appeal so you don't want to be trying to sell products that are too sub niched if you try and do that then you're going to drastically struggle on selling on Tik Tok ads so just try and make sure that your product is a wide range product and it's not super super Niche because you're going to really struggle to find the audience on Tik Tok ads in 2024 now the next thing that I want to go over is the kind of quality traffic that you get from Tik Tok ads you've got to understand with the platform of Tik Tok don't expect crazy things if you're trying to sell High ticket on Tik Tok ads you're going to struggle a lot so so what I say is any products that are priced between $19.99 and $69.99 you should be fine with as soon as you go over that Mark you're going to see a massive drastic change in conversions now there are a few other things that I go over in the notes section but you can check that out in the CH she but those are the main ones that I wanted to quickly discuss so let's get straight into the test and campaign so you want to come back to your Tik Tok ads manager campaign and you're going to see here in the top left create you want to hit the create button then once you've hit the create button it should say create new then it's going to say advertise an objective you're then going to select website conversions and then where it says campaign type smart performance you do not want to select that and then where it says campaign name you're going to want to put testing strategy and then the name of your product and then where it says special ad categories you don't want to click any of these you just want to hit continue then it's going to put you into your ad group section and you can view this on the left hand side you've just done the campaign now you're in the ad group section now the ad group is where you do all the targeting that the customer is going to get so where it says add group name you want to call the first one broad correlated now this is to do with the interest that we're going to choose for this ad group then where it says optimization and location you want to do website you want to select your Tik Tok pixel optimization event is going to be complete payment you're not going to use Tik Tok instant page then it says placements you're going to do select placements Tik Tok includes search results the other two are going to be turned off as they are not useful then then you're going to see the targeting section here guys and you want to scroll down to where it says demographics and the location that you want to Target is the United States now the United States is the biggest buying Market on Tik Tok now I've tried Canada I've tried other countries but honestly the most success that I get is from the United States now if you did use my account setup strategy that I taught you at the start of this video you should be able to Target United States completely fine I'm based in the UK and it's working for me so it should work for you guys if you followed it correctly then where it says gender you want to select all now of course if your product is literally just for women then just do female and vice versa if it's for male then where it says age you want to do 18 plus to 55 plus and then where it says languages I'd recommend that you do it to all now where it says spending power this is where things get interesting if you're selling anything under $69.99 just do all for now but if you're trying to do high ticket Drop Shipping I would select High spending power if I was you now household in just set it is all and this is where things get interested then underneath household income you're going to see audience and you're going to include nothing here and then you're going to see interest and behaviors this is where you want to pay as much attention as possible now you are going to be creating five ad groups guys so you do need to pay attention to this and the first one's going to be broad correlated so you want to go here where it says search interest and behaviors and you want to go to where it says interest here in the top left and you want to scroll and you want to click the ones that are Broad but they're correlated correlated meaning that they make sense for your product now I'm selling a card game so I want to select anything that's to do with cards so one could be education the other ones is obviously going to be games I'm going to keep scrolling up to see if there's any more that makes sense for me now honestly out of all the ones that I've selected games and education seem like the ones that make the most sense as it's Broad and correlated now you can tell if you're doing broad by looking at the top right you'll see available audience fairly broad now as long as it says fairly broad then you're good to carry on then when you scroll down it's going to say budget and scale now you want to change this to $20 now it's going to say schedule and run now you want to set this to midnight the following day so today is Tuesday so I'm going to want to select it for Wednesday right at midnight so 0 0 it's going to start running then you're going to see day parting guys this you need to ignore you don't need to worry about this do all day for now now where is this bidding and optimization you're going to want to leave all of this alone for now this is something that you should focus on when you scale a product but when you're testing just leave it as it is then once you filled out all that information guys just click next then once you've done that you should see that in the top left section you're now in the ad section this is the creative part of your ads this is what the viewers going to see when they see your ad so guys now I've explained exactly what we've just done let's move on to creating the ad so you're going to see here in the top it's going to say smart creatives you do not want to turn this on where it says add name you want to call this the creative now if you have five creatives you should have between three and five so you should call this one number one then the next one will be number two then the one after that will be number three and if you've got up to five you call it five you can call it either creative five or just call it 1 2 3 4 or five that way you can come to identify it very easily in terms of which one's performing the best by just reading the name now it's going to say identity use Tik Tok account to deliver spark ads you do not want this on then it's going to say set up custom identity you're going to click create new it's going to ask you for your company name and your logo just make sure you've applied those two then it's going to say add details you're going to do single video then you're going to click upload and you're going to upload your videos then once you've uploaded your videos you're going to see them in the library so if you click from library you should see all the videos that you've just uploaded now I've just selected one of my videos now what you can do is you can update it now if you click update it means you change the video or you can do the thumbnail now I would recommend that you click thumbnail now you can upload a custom thumbnail which I don't recommend or you can just choose from what part of the video looks more entertaining so you can manual choose out of all these clips which one's going to grab the most attention if I was to be honest with you this one or this one's probably going to grab the most attention so once you find the one that you think's the best just click save then here it's going to say text this is your hook or your offer so the main hooks that work the best are either get 50% off like I've got here or get free shipping so these are what we call offer hooks or you can do a hook that scare mongers people like only five left in stock or limited time available to buy those tend to work the best on Tik Tik Tok ads you can try fancy product names as hook so you can just make your product sound really cool in four words and use that as a hook but typically the offer or Scare mongr hooks work the best on Tik Tok then you're going to see customized call to action you want to click the drop down you want to hit edit and you want to change it to standard and you want to change it to shop now you do not want Dynamic you want standard shop now then it's going to say interactive add-ons you do not want this ignore this then it's going to say destination URL make sure this is the product page URL and if you want to make sure that you have selected the right one you can click the preview button and it will show you the link that you have chose then if you scroll down it's going to say disclaimer by checking this check boox you give Tik Tok creative sentence your performance you want to uncheck this cuz that way people can spy on your product then if you scroll down you're going to have Tik Tok tracking events like app tracking or UTM parameters now I'm not going to go over this now but I have made a video about UTM I'll leave Linked In the cheat sheet if you want to be using UTM to help track your conversions now once you've done that guys you want to scroll back up to the top and in the top right you're going to see add list total of 1 x now you want to be doing more than just one ad per ad group now I'd recommend that you do between three to five per ad group so you want to add another one and you want to add up to three being the minimum and five being the most so in number two you're going to call this creative 2 you're going to select a new video which is going to be video number two you're going to add either the same text or a different text and you're going to do the same then once you filled that one up you're going to click add again till you've got a minimum of three up to five and then once you've done that you can submit it then once you've submitted it you should come back to the campaign dashboard see the name of your campaign mine's in draft but yours should say pending or active like this one does and as soon as that's done you should see the time created and schedule and it should then start spending after midnight the following day so what you want to do is you want to select the campaign go to add group and then you should see the first one that you made you want to select it and click copy then you're going to see here it says copy add group objective add to existing Campaign which is correct then you want to change the number of copies to four because remember you're going to have the original plus this four which means that you're going to have five in total now before you click copy you can edit the names now make sure you edit the names to the correct names so you should call them 1 2 3 4 and then obviously if you're doing broad targeting call it broad if you're doing narrow do narrow then once you've copied them you can click the edit button and then you can make the adjustments that I'd recommend by scrolling down go to where it's is interest and behaviors and then you can either add a new interest or a hashtag Remember by looking at the cheat sheet what we're trying to do here we're trying to do different interest by correlation and different hashtags so each ad group should be different when it comes to the targeting section and that's either the interest or the hashtag then once you've made all those adjustments make sure you click save and and if it needs to publish just click publish so to clarify what you should see in your dashboard one campaign five ad groups and five ads in each ad group is what you should be seeing so what you guys want to do is make sure that you let that testing campaign run for 3 days which is 72 hours do not touch them do not do anything just let them run for 3 days and if you do the math you're going to be doing five ad groups and you're going to be doing 20 per ad group so that means you're going to be spending $300 over the 3 days now although that might seem like a lot of money as in an advertising budget that's how much you need to spend to identify whether or not your product is a winner or a loser now there are some conditions that you need to do within the first 24 hours to make sure that you're not just burning money so because this is the first rule guys first 24 hours is if the CPC is greater than $150 you want to go back to your ads manager after 24 hours go to your campaign select it go to add groups and then if you scroll AC cross to CPC if it's greater than $150 you're going to turn it off copy it and choose a new interest or hashtag now if you don't see CPC go to where it says customize columns custom columns then you can select CPC here where it says destination then guys the 48h hour Ru is by now each adset should have spent around about $40 and if you're running a product that is around about $50 price point your profit margin should be lower than $40 if your profit margin multiplied by 1 .5 is less than $40 you have spent and you still have no sales turn off the ad set and replace it with the new one now remember only some of this rule applies if you're selling a product that is around about $50 because if you spend too much money you're going to be left with $0 as profit and that's why we're giving you this equation to work it out so if you do match this criteria you turn it off and you replace it then the 72 hour rule is after 3 days you should have only kept the adets that have a positive row as meaning that they have made a sale but they are also profitable because after your profit margin and after your cost of ads you are now making money so for example let's say it cost you $10 to get a sale and your profit margin is $20 you've still made $10 which means your row as is profitable keep running through this strategy and replacing adsets until you reach a loss of between $300 and $600 depending on how much you're willing to spend test one product if you reach your red line and mounted loss then it's time to stop spending and reassess your funnel because it's likely that there is no product Market fit in your current offer in Tik Tok ads the issue could either be your creative your ads or your offer so it's very simple with Tik Tok ads it's either going to come down to your product and creative or your funnel those are the two issues that it normally is now if you have ran a product that is working on Tik Tok already but your creatives don't match the ones that are already running by competitors that could be your problem or it could be your landing page now if you're running a product that's never really been done before on Tik Tok you can't find many competitors then it's probably the product but the point that we're trying to make here is that depending on how much you're willing to lose typically for us it's between these ranges then you need to make a decision what you're doing you're either going to reassess your funnel your creatives or you're going to move on to a new product but the key to success with Tik Tok ads is trying products quickly and making changes now if you're a drop shipper it's about moving on to the next product and seeing if the next product gives you better results now let's talk about the scaling strategy now this is where you're going to start to make some very good money and profitability as long as you've stuck to the rules these three rules here the 24hour rule the 48h hour rule and the 72-hour rule is always an active rule when you're running ads regardless if you're in the testing phase the scaling phase anytime you launch a new ad group these three rules always apply if you forget to implement these rules then you're going to lose profitability so with that being said let's move into the scaling strategy when you have one adset that reaches the end of the third day with a positive rowers that means you might have found a potential winning audience Tik Tok ads can scale well in either or CBO and only way to find out which one is the best is if you try both so the first step to scaling your winning ad sets is to duplicate them into two to three times as an with a one to five times to two times your original budget and also to create a CBO campaign with your winning adset a $75 campaign now this might get confusing so I'm going to break it down for you you guys so if you go back into the ads manager let's say that this is the original campaign now you need to go into the original campaign and work out which is your winning ad set now if you have two then that rule that I mentioned here is going to apply to those two different ad groups so you're going to duplicate the winning ad group in the original campaign now if you have two winning ad groups which means they've got a positive row as then you're going to duplicate both of them between two to three times so let's say for example this one was the only one that won I'm going to select it click copy then I'm going to go to where it says add copy to existing campaign you're going to change it to New campaign and then once you've done new campaign it's going to ask you for a campaign name you're going to call it scaling and then you're going to add the product name in it now you're going to want to duplicate the ad group between two and three times now it depends on the profit if you're very profitable do it three times if you're mediocre then do it two times then you want to change the ad group name by what you're going to be changing the budget to now we said you're going to change your budget by 1 and a half half or two now two would be $40 a day and one and a half would be around about $35 a day so if you're going to be doing two times the original budget then change the ad group name to $40 so you know that you're spending $40 on those new ad groups now obviously when you duplicate these in a new campaign you need to make sure that you go down in the add group section and you change the budget so you can see here budget you want to make sure that you change that now to the new budget which will either be 1 and 1/2 x or 2x so let's say we're doing 2x we're going to changes to $40 now that's what you'd do if you hypothetically had one ad group that was a winning one from the original campaign now let's say you had two winning ad groups you'd do the exact same you'd go to the other AD group you'd copy it into that new campaign that you just created times it by either two or three and increase the budget by either one and a half or two times that's literally all you're doing and then you're letting that then run 3 days but remember that's the first method of scaling which is the method now we need to do the exact same thing but a CBO campaign to make sure that we know which scaling campaign works better CBO or because you won't be able to know till you test it so you're going to do the exact same thing again which is duplicate those winning ad groups into a CBO campaign now not an and for those that don't know what CBO is that's campaign budget optimization now you can do this manually or you can do it through copying into a new campaign now it might be easier for some of you guys to do it manually by clicking create new campaign call this CBO scaling then you want to select your pixel like normal then you want to change the optimization event to obviously complete payment so if you're going to manually create it you're going to do the exact same thing again create new website conversion then what you want to do is you don't want to do campaign type smart performance you want to do where it says campaign budget optimization so you want to select this then where it says campaign name you then want to enter the campaign name which is going to be CBO scaling and then the product name you're not messing around by special ad categories now where it says budget this is extremely important guys now if you've got one winning ad group then it's going to be $75 but if you have two winning ad groups it's going to betimes two which is going to be $150 so if you have three winning ad groups that's even better then you're timesing 75 by three because $75 is for per ad group so if you've got three winning ad groups you just times it by however many by 75 so let's just say how I thetically I've got two winning ad groups I'm going to change this to $150 and click continue then what you're going to do for the rest of that campaign build is go back into the ad groups set them up as the winning ad Group which is the same audience everything's the same but you're manually doing it this time or if you don't want to do it that way just copy the original ad group into a new campaign set it as a CBO and then do it that way whichever way works best for you guys which makes the most sense do it whichever way works for you even if it takes longer doing either one the best thing to do is just feel comfortable in the ads manager and to not make many mistakes so after you've launched your two new campaigns which is and CBO you want to let the new scaling campaigns run for 3 to 4 days and then come back and check on the results most likely you'll be able to identify a trend either abos will tend to do better or cbos are running better and this is for the same product you don't need to do both anymore once you find out which is better so if there's a drastic performance increase on CBO get rid of the and move everything else back into CBO now there are some other things that I want to cover when it comes to scaling Tik Tok ads that are very very important so scaling Tik Tok ads isn't just about duplicating and pumping budgets through the roof the most important aspect of scaling is to make sure that you have a steady flow of new content coming into your account because content on Tik Tok ads tends to last less time than what you'd expect on Facebook ads so on Facebook ads some Crees can last weeks and weeks and months but on Tik Tok they can last a few days to maybe a week so you need to make sure that your content pipeline is always increasing so if you're a drop shipper and You' just been using repurposed content you might want to now think about investing in your own original content by hiring a freelancer or using Boo or just increase the original content that you're getting or create new versions of it by getting different edits if you're running three to five ads in each ad set then make sure that you're able to add three to five new ones to your account every single week that way I'd suggest that you do this by duplicating your best audiences inside a duplicate and replace your original ads with a new batch that you want to test run the duplicate with new ads for 3 days and then compare its performance with the original with the original ads from the first testing campaign if they perform just as well or perhaps even better then that's amazing way to scale all you have to do now is duplicate your other winning abos into cbos and in the duplicates replace your old ads with new ads now you're able to use your winning audiences multiple times by running different creatives you're scaling with creatives rather than just pumping budgets now you're going to see on YouTube that a lot of people really endorse pumping budgets but that's a very dangerous game to play because it's very very sensitive which means one day you can be making a lot of money the next day you can be dying in a lot of death of budget meaning that your budgets are overspending your profitability is dropping and you're just getting destroyed when it comes to profitability creative scaling tends to be a lot more concrete on Tik Tok and you get less volatility because you can literally wipe out weeks of profit if you don't know what you're doing hi guys welcome to the next module in the free course which is going to be Tik Tok organic and I and Nick are going to be your instructors for this part of the module so we're going to be showing you how to go viral on Tik Tok how to create the content how to edit the content how to upload the content so you can get viral sales and organic sales with your Drop Shipping Store and again me and Nick Smith will be teaching you in this module now before we get into finding a viral product it's very important to understand how to do this correctly now I would advise all of you to do this on a mobile phone instead of the desktop now in this video I'm going to be demonstrating on my computer cuz it's going to be easier for me to Showcase it now of course you're going to need to use one phone to record the content for the product and the other one to do the research so if you don't have two phones you might want to do what I am doing now which is use your computer for product research and use your phone to upload the content and to record it so the first thing that you want to do is once you're on Amazon you want to go to the search bar and you want to search for Amazon finds now when you search for Amazon finds you're going to see loads of videos that I've got 36 million views 1.9 million views 67 million views and you just want to watch these videos now when I watch this video here you can see it's showing me the top 15 Amazon products for this month so these videos are literally showing you each product in action and what they are now once you find videos like this you want to like the video you want to leave a comment and you want to save the video now why we're doing this is because once we've do this enough times it's going to make our explore page full of dropshipping videos now once your Fu page on Tik Tok has got to a state where it's only showing you drop shipping product related videos that means that you're now in the perfect place and I want you to keep scrolling till something grabs your attention now once you've done that these are what you're going to want to look for on that video or on that product so the first thing that I want to do is I want to go to their page by clicking in the top right or clicking the logo and I want to look to see how many views are they getting so they've got 1.4 million views 90k views 3 million views so they're getting some very good amount of views for this product and it's definitely a drop sh product by the looks of it now the next thing that we want to look at is how often are they posting on their page so you don't want to look at the pinned videos because these could be from months ago you just want to look at the most recent one that isn't pinned now if I look at this video you can see the date is 2023 the 8th of the eth so that was around about 2 and 1/2 months ago now realistically you want to see the most recent video in the last 7 to 30 days so technically this one is slightly out of date now the reason why this is so important is because if they're not recently posted that means either the products died or there's no interest in this industry now the next thing that we want to look at is we want to see if they've got at least between 1 million views and 10 million views on at least one video now in this case they've got it on around about three to four different videos now we want to look at the comments of those videos that they've got the most views on so by looking at the comments all of these look legit and real you can tell by just reading if they make sense does the comment interact with the video so you have to watch the video first for you to understand if the comments make sense so people are saying can I get this for school that makes sense is this made out of metal that makes sense now the last thing that you want to look at is engagement rate and you might have to do this off your computer because you need to download a Chrome extension which is completely free called vid IQ now once you've downloaded it you're going to see that it shows you at the bottom here a percentage now you want to make sure that their best performing videos and their recent videos are getting at least a 5% engagement rate you can see that most popular video got 10% so that's very good and the other one has got 8% so you can see the majority of their videos are matching at least 5% engagement which shows us that this product is a good product so the next step you need to know what the name of the product is now when you found the video on your for you page it should have a name for the product in the video then once you've done that you want to go back to Tik Tok go to the search bar and type in the name of the product with a hashtag before the name so you can see here I've typed in hash Infinity pencil so you can see there's loads of different creators posting videos of the same product they're getting 200,000 VI views 12,000 views 1.3 million views and you can see they're all different accounts and different pages now what you want to do is you want to duplicate this tab and you want to search for the same name Infinity pencil but you want to get rid of the hashtag because it's going to show you different videos now you can see the videos have changed now we're seeing a video with 1 million views 5.4 million views 1.9 million views so there's loads of different videos popping up that have got loads of views now when you type in the name of the product and you put in hashtags and just the name in you want to be seeing videos that I've got at Le at least 1 to 10 million views that are coming up in the top two pages so I would consider this a top page then a second page and then a third page you can see here millions of views millions of views millions of views so this so far is looking very positive so now what you guys want to do is you want to search for a sub Niche and a niche for your product now let's say for example I'm selling this pencil now a sub Niche could be best pencil because I'm trying to find a niche that are interested in a better version than just a typical pencil now it's going to be quite hard to do it for this Niche because it's such a weird Niche to do it for now let's say for example you found a dog toy on your for you page and you're doing this research method on that you would then search for dog toys instead of the name of the product that you found which is a dog toy and then whatever name it was now in my instance mine's best pencil so now I'm finding videos that got 7 million views 7 and 1/2 million views 9 million views so the views have increased now have gone sub Niche which is a good sign it just means that there's more interest the broader I go for this IND industry and these people are the same people that would buy the product it just is showing videos that are not related to the same product that I'm looking for so you're just looking for audience interest as a whole now you can see there's other videos popping up now which has got 7 million views 2 million views 1 million view 9.4 million views 21 million views so the views have increased again now the key to this metric is the broader you go the views should increase so I've gone from best pencil to pencil now if best pencil's got more views than pencil then that's a big problem because it means that the audience is shrinking the broader you go which it shouldn't be now because this is such a weird Niche it's not going to be a drastic difference so I'm going to show you another example to show you what the DraStic difference should be you can see here 2.8 million views that I'm getting for pets toys 1.3 1.6 500,000 now if I get rid of toys let's see how many views we get now you can see the views have drastically increase we've now got 178 million 5.4 million 14 million 7 million so you can see by going completely broad the viewership should go up drastically and it should be between 10 million and a 100 million when you go super broad for the niche if it's lower than that on the first three pages that is not a good sign so the last part of this product research method to finding viral products is to see if you can even get access to this product because sometimes on Tik Tok you find the best products ever but you can't find a supplier for them which is crazy so we got to make sure before we say we're going to definitely use this product we need to know if we can Source it what you want to do is you want to go to AliExpress and type in the name of the product so you can see here I've typed in Infinity pencil and you can see my product is coming up on AliExpress I found this version which is the black and white one which has got a th000 orders on AliExpress we do want to look at the order amount and you can see there's a lot of people buying this product if there's a th000 orders now I found a other version of the product but it comes in different colors and it's got between 2,000 orders and 5,000 orders so this just shows me that one I can Source the product and number two there is a lot of order amount on here as well which just tells me that this product makes a lot of money now before I get too excited I want to make sure that I can Source this product from a better supplier than obviously AliExpress because the shipping times are terrible the customer support is terrible now the supplyer that I'd recommend that 90% of you guys use is Zen drop now Zen drop is a supplyer that I use when I test products so it's completely free to make an account and use Zen drop as a beginner so make sure you do that by using my link in the description so once you've created an account on Zen drop you're going to want to go to where it says F products you're going to want to go to the sech bar and type in the name of the product or the niche and you can see I have found the product Infinity pencil and I found two versions the colored version and the black and white version now once I click on it I want to see how much it's going to cost me to buy it sometimes they're a little bit more expensive and sometimes they can be cheaper now The Sweet Spot on Tik Tok organic is you want to be selling your product for between $19.99 and $29.99 now in some very few cases $34.99 can also work so guys that's the product research method on how to find viral products for this Tik Tok free course done so now we're going to move on to filming and getting the product so once you've confirmed your product gone through that whole research method and you found a valid product you want to go on to Amazon and you want to order it so that you can get it for the next day so like Amazon Prime or you get it in a few days you don't want to be ordering it on AliExpress or Zen drop because it'll take longer so make sure you order on Amazon so you can get it the following day or in a few days now before we film any content we do need to go back on Tik Tok and find the most popular Pages for our product so which accounts are doing the most views and which videos have done the best in the past because we don't want to reinvent the whe When We Make the content we want to find what's working replicate it and add a Twist to it for us to also go viral so what you guys want to do is go back to Tik Tok and search for again Infinity pencil with the hashtag and without the hashtag and you want to go through all of the videos and you want to look for What videos got the most views or what accounts have got the name infinity or the name of the product in their title so you can see here this video's got an account where they've posted off the infinity pencil now that's got the name of our product in it and they've got a decent amount of views so we're going to want to look into their account now you can see here that their account has got a video that's got 2.1 million views so we're going to want to research and we're going to want to do some investigation into this video now there's another video that's come up here with 1.3 million views and it's a similar name of the account so I'm going to click it and click open and you're going to see it's going to show me that their account and again I'm going to want to see what video's got the most views and it's this one here for 1.3 million views so again I'm going to want to put that video to the side and do the research on it later so guys after doing that for around about 25 minutes I have found the page that's got the most views for this product you can see here this is the account and you can see this video here has got 24 million views so this is the video that I'm going to want to replicate and slightly change and do my research on because out of all the different accounts that I found which is this account this account and this account this account got the video with 24 million views so this is what I call the winning organic video so I'm going to want to research this video and work out why it did the best now in this instance it says regular pencil vers their pencil and they're doing a very drastic video where they're smashing the two pencils so that is the hook that is the dramatic part that's grabbed my attention then I want to know how they structure their video are they doing ugc are they doing no face are they doing captions are they doing voice overs what trending sounds are they using so we can see here it shows me what music they've used it shows me what T they've used so we want to see how they've structured their video how long is the video what's in the background of the video these are all things that I want to write down so that when I make mine I can implement the same thing so the last thing that you guys want to do is go to Tik Tok trending sounds and you can see here it says browse what's trending now in the UK you can click this and change it to the US I would change it to the US then you want to sort it by songs then you want to SC scroll down and look at what's trending and you also want to search for a few different hashtags now the first thing that you want to do is you want to look for two trending songs in the top 10 so you can see here 1 2 3 you want to click view more and you want to look for them in the top 10 and you want to pick two of them and use them straight away now the second thing that you want to do is you want to go to the search bar and you want to use a hashtag and you want to use the broad Niche so my Niche is pen or pencil now this might not work well because it's a little bit weird of a niche to search for but let's say you're doing pets you might want to search for # pets and see what comes up now you can see by searching for hash pets you can see here it says go to sleep and you can see that this is the one that's got a trend now before I even get into showing you how to film your product how to edit it with Nick I need to now talk about what you need before you even film now at this stage of the video technically you should have your product delivered to your house from Amazon and you should be ready to record if you're just being curious that's fine but guys do pay full attention and write down the notes now the first thing that you're obviously going to need when you start filming is a phone camera now I do prefer iPhones over Android just because I find the quality just looks a lot better on the iPhone but if you have an Android it's completely fine now you just want to make sure that you're filming in 1080p HD it doesn't need to be 4K 1080p is completely fine now you need to make sure that you got some good lighting as well now the most popular thing you can do is you can buy a box light or a ring light and I'll put some examples on the screen now these can cost you like $ 20 to $50 they're not overly expensive and this is just going to help get some great lighting for your product now the best thing you can do is get a ring light and use natural lighting so wherever you're filming think about natural lighting where is there a lot of Windows in your house or in your apartment and use the natural light to help you with filming you also want to think about your background and environment because remember when you've watched those videos of your competitors what background are they filming in some are inside some are outside some are in some weird places so you do need to pay full attention and try and recreate it now the last thing is a script now you don't always have to use us a script but a lot of your competitors will follow some form of script or some form of timeline and wording that you want to recreate now with all of that being said guys let's get straight into the fing and editing part of this free course so Nick and I are going to appear on the screen in a minute and we're going to be teaching you step by step how you can film your own product and how you can edit it so you get an idea of what we're doing so guys welcome to this part of the free course when it comes to Tik Tok organic in 2024 so as you can see with me today we've got Nick back on the YouTube channel so we are going to keep it super super simple today so what we're going to do is we're going to look at a competitor's post that's got massive massive views and we're going to use that content and try and recreate it or at least the hook cuz we know that's that's really helped the post blown up then what we're going to do is we're going to create sort of a hybrid post using that really really cool hook and then using some benefits of the product we've chosen so we'll go through that product in a bit and then what we're going to do is we're going to shoot the content in front of you and show you how to do that and then we're going to jump into an editor we're going to stitch it all together it's going to be super super simple so I've got two products with me the first one I want to mention is a fidget spinner Cube and the reason this is so important is because this is what got us 3 million views so this was a very viral product for us and we nearly did this to show you how to film a Tik Tok but the thing is it's so simple to film cuz the wow factor really was watching it spin I think it's not going to be really a good tutorial for you so what I've done is I've chosen a different product so this is a pencil and the great thing about this is we can do some really cool wow factor stuff because as you know with Tik Tok it's going to be about transitions it's going to be quick takes it's going to be quick shots and this also has a massive benefit of lasting it's an everlasting pencil so it never runs out that's a huge benefit that we can put into a Tik Tok and hopefully what we'll do is we'll create some really cool content to so let's go on the camera right guys so here we are I've got a very basic setup here but before I go into it I just want you to know how I got to this setup so we are not going to reinvent the wheel we want to find a post that's going super super viral and then we're going to copy that hook and then we're going to make something really really creative regular pencil versus our INF pencil so this hooks really really cool so it's imitating a hammer being smashed onto a pencil versus this infinite pencil so the whole benefit of this is showing how hard wearing this is and that it lasts forever so I think we're going to copy this hook because it's got an amazing amount of views okay let's continue regular pencil versus our pcil regular pencil versus our infinite pencil cool so this is just a series of comparisons from a regular pencil versus the infinite pencil so I think what we can do is we can do some clever things here so what we'll do is we'll take the hook from this because obviously this is this is hit really hard and then what we'll do is we'll hit into the benefits a little bit more as well and what I want to do with a Tik Tok is I'm going to create a double hook method so I'm going to chop the pencil versus the infinite pencil but I also want to snap some pencils well I want to do something really really shocking so I think what I'll do with the hook is say something along the lines of you'll never need a regular pencil again and then we'll snap loads of pencils together create a really shocking hook and then we'll do the comparison and then what we'll do is we'll show how long it lasts and we'll go on and on and on obviously not too long I've got myself a little phone stand you can be creative with this I've left my stand at home which only cost me six bucks by the way so super cheap what I've done is I've got this little simple stand I put it against a box like this the reason being is I'm going to be doing Transitions and I W that phone dead dead still I'm also going to be chopping up some pencils cuz that's going to help me really engage with the audience and do something fun and creative with regards to filming I've got an iPhone you want it about 1080p Tik Tok won't really allow you to upload 4K I think at the time of this recording but 1080p is absolutely fine so a standard smartphone would be really cool it just needs to be 1080p for you know high quality okay and what I'm going to do with my camera is I'm just going to have a simple photo set up I'm not going to go 4x3 ratio usually phones will be 9x 16 because that's the ratio you need for Tik Tok so I'm going to do like you'll never need another pencil again that kind of thing okay so I'm going to lay up my shot here it's facing down I want to make sure I'm in complete view I'm kind of zoom out a bit you can always cut in if you've zoomed in too far and you can't uh you can't zoom out on the shot that's more of a problem so I'm going to go out and we're going to get our pencils and then we're going to record Bo and we're going to go nice so now I'd like a transition shot as well so we're going to be comparing the pencil to a regular pencil I could just hammer it and go all the way through if I wanted to but I might do as a transition and it's a good way to show you how to do lay up a transition anyway boom boom boom so don't worry you're going to screw up a couple shot okay so it's about getting very comfortable with iterating with repeating your shot occasionally so I'm going to letay out my shot as best I can if I if I screw it up it's not a problem you shoot again until you get the right shot okay so let's try and line this up I want to make sure that everybody knows this is a pencil second shot I'm going to go and cut to the pencil there and then I'm going to stop the recording and then I'm going to break it in half and chop through it so we have that lovely transition okay so let's go record also it's nice to do a bit of a layup before and afterwards you're going to cut really short for Tik Tok it's got to be every one not even 2 seconds but what I'm doing I'm showing the pencil first in case I'd like to use that footage to show people exactly what it is but chances I won't use it so I'm going to show the pencil move it down like this and go cool now what I'm going to do I'm going to take this knife out cool and then we're going to record again I'm going to do do one more I wanted it to be quicker because obviously we're recording Tik toks which means that if I spend too long with that knife on The Chopping board it's it's going to take too long and people are going to get bored okay so that's our second shot now the third shot I really wanted to accentrate on the benefit of what this pencil is which means it lasts forever and ever so I think that's going to be our last shot okay so what I'm going to do is I'm always going to do it goes on and on and then I'm going to do that 2,000 years kind of thing and then we'll do it's still going I think that's a really nice ending okay I'm going do another transition with the pencil because what I want to do is I want to get a couple of angles because I want to really keep the user engaged and doing the same angle all the time may get a little bit boring so we're going to do one more transition of the pencil so if we go again let's go onto our video show the pencil [Music] cool that work better than I wanted it to I guess what I wanted to do is really accentuate the benefit of this which is it's an everlasting pencil it never runs out that's the big benefit versus this pencil so I'm going to do a little piece about how long the pencil goes on for it goes on and on by the way apologies for the light we do need light down on here that's how we're going to get the best light on the subject for our shots and it's so important we get loads of light so it does look like it's flooding in but it's the best way we're going to get the shots for you okay okay cool so first shot it goes on now I'm going to do loads more as if I've been doing it for ages no and then the last shot we're going to cut to loads of years later and we're really going to have it filled up last shot we're going to show Cas so then we're going to round off cool it's a nice showcase shot Okay cool so here we are in the edit we're going to do the super super super quick so that we don't bore you to tears okay let's go and open a new project in cap cut and we'll go to videos and I'm going to I filmed them in a particular kind of order so we're going to select them all and import them into our new project it's already handled the ratio as you can see and it's imported as 1080p this is perfect for us so what I want to do initially is I'm going to do a quick cut of the footage so that we remove any fluff then we're going to go into some AI software and we're going to start getting some captions together so we don't want to bore people so we want to change the clips very quickly and cut out any unnecessary fluff so all this stuff at the beginning I think we need to cut out we just want to see that break there okay so I'm going to select my clip and if in the bottom left there you see split so I'm going to split that clip and then I touch the left top part of the clip I don't want and there's a little delete button down there so we're going to get rid of that cool so we're going to go lovely so I do want to show people the pieces of the pencil as well so let's see how many seconds that is so that is 2 seconds so let's cut this clip and then see how it looks together and we'll make a decision whether to cut it even further or not but we just want to it's called a rough cut we want to roughly cut cut it up and chop out the fluff next part so This Is Us comparing the normal pencil to the Everlasting pencil we're going to cut this out cuz I actually quite fancy the other again we want to cut out any unnecessary noise so where are we showing the knife here let's select the clip split it and get rid of that cool going straight into the brake and then we're going to chop okay so just where it chops there this is where we're going to do what's called a transition loads of people do this in Tik Tok where you film a certain piece you stop the clip and then you film it in a different light so it looks like it's transitioned over so we're going to select the clip and cut that let's go okay now we want to get where that knife broke through there we are so here o select the clip so I've done it just where the knife's broken so let's cut that clip here and then remove that and let's see how that looks together nice that looks like a good break that's a good transition I think it's a bit slow on the uptake at the beginning of that but we'll polish that up later okay the next is it lasts and lasts and lasts okay so we're going to cut mid scribble get rid of that side okay so we don't want this Clips these clips to be over 2 seconds I if we want to make them as short as possible okay so we're going to go scribble and let's just remove it there cool and then the second scribble again we want to keep these two clips about the same length so what we can do instead of cutting we can drag this side here if it'll let me with my big fat thumbs and drag the clip in okay so those are two ways that you can shorten the clip and lastly we've got this absolute mess on the page so let's go and clip that and then make it roughly about the same if you want to sync this to music that's absolutely fine but for the time being I'm literally just doing this by eye so let's have a look at our clip so far breaking the pencil chop scribble scribble scribble okay so we might want to shorten that a little bit but the reason I haven't done this perfectly yet is that we need captions Okay so we've got that that's our rough cut it's cool so we've cut the footage roughly how we want it we will be polishing this up but we need captions so what we're going to do we're in the world of AI currently so I'm going to go over to what's called 11 labs and we are going to find oursel a voice Adam is a very typical voice for Tik Tok people are using all sorts now that are trending we're going to go safe with Adam for the time being because you guys will probably you'll know this voice by watching Tik Tok so what are we going to do let's have a quick look at our clip and we're going to write a script so the first of all is the break yeah so first of all I'm going to put you'll never need another pencil again and then we'll say regular pencil versus infinite pencil because we're cut in the pencil and then lastly we're going to put it goes on and on and on and that's all we're going to do with the script so what I'm going to do is I'm going to write the script out so that you don't see me taking ages writing the script and then we're going to generate the voice okay so we're back and I've loed down the captions so what we've got here you'll never need another pencil again regular pencil versus infinite pencil it goes on and on I put a call to action at the end if you're trying to go viral on organic you don't necessar necessarily need to ask for the sale but I put it there and let's generate a voice now this could take a couple of goes to generate The Voice May not always be on point but that's absolutely okay so let's generate and see what it comes up with and if we're happy we'll dump it into cap cut never another again [Music] infite and okay I don't mind this but I think the intro is a bit slow so we're going to generate again and see if it comes up with a faster one if not we'll play the hand with at the [Music] moment that is so out of work let's have a look voice settings okay so I'm going to looks stable oh no we haven't got stable here so it looks like it's quite unstable so I'm going to stabilize the voice a bit if I can there we are and let's go and generate so we don't have that absolute wacky voice you'll never need another pencil again regular pencil verus infinite pencil it goes on and on perfect third time is a charm we got the voice that we wanted all I did was I went to the stability I went more stable so that he wasn't all over the place with his voice and then I up the style exaggeration so we slowed down a little bit we do want fast speaking but we want to fit into the clip as well cool so let's download and let's dump it in to cap cut so right with our captions we're going to dump these into cap cut now so what we'll do is add audio on the side here click on audio then we've got sounds and then we've got this little folder icon just in the middle okay so we'll click on that and then we'll we will go to device select from device and I'm going to come in here and choose our download and that should we added it here we are got the little plus button let's add let's have a look you'll never need another woo I'm loving that so in cap cut to zoom in and zoom out on the timeline at the bottom here I'm just pinching with my two thumbs okay so what I want to do is this guy that we've done to do the a voice over he's very very separate with this speech and we want to cut that very close together because our Clips are going to be quicker okay so we're going to zoom in and we're going to do a very similar cut job I'll show you the first few then we're going to speed through this okay so let's have a [Music] look let's cut him off there so I'm going to split the begin you can split there there we are cool so what I'm doing I'm trying to save time wherever I can so even though there's a little pause at the beginning we're going to remove that completely okay okay another pencil again cool so let's do let's shorten this clip so this is why I didn't shorten all the clips straight away I wanted to look at the text so what we're going to do is go to this mid part here and we're going to split this clip again and we're probably going to split it there and then we're going to move this clip by holding down with our thumb and drag it across the start of this clip here so now what will happen is it will jump straight into the next piece of text perfect so now what we want to do is we're cutting the speech to fit the clip and what I'll do is I'll adjust the clips as well so we want to try and get to a stage where the text fits within the clip but we're not dragging out the clip too long so what I'm going to do is I'm going to cut the rest of this footage and then we'll watch it back together okay okay so we're back and what I didn't realize is I didn't film The Infinite pen and me hitting the infinite pen with a knife we're human we're not going to beat ourselves up about it so what we did we ran away quickly and we filmed hitting the infinite pen because what we wanted to do was the comparison between the pencil and the pen so what we do we go through the whole video and then I'll break down what I've done okay you'll never need another again regular pcil pencil it goes on and on 2,000 years later and on get yours today cool so a couple of things here so firstly if you look at where I've put my text where I've put my captions I've put them in the right place and shorten the clip to fit okay so now I've shortened the clips so they're a bit more engaging I put my text over overlay on top so as you can see here I put my text in the right place versus my footage so I've shortened the footage a bit I've moved my text I've split it in the same fashion that we did with the visual clip and just put the text in place where it was needed and what I done as well I thought this would be really funny so don't be afraid to get creative with this sort of stuff and think about pop culture as well there there are things there are Trends there are things that you know that everybody knows that you can really shoehorn into creatives like this so I wanted to tell people how long the pen lasted and I know that there was a SpongeBob SquarePants reference about being an x amount of time later so I shoehorned that in and then finally for dramatic effect did it scribbled after that as well so what I'm going to do is I'm going to grab this clip because I think it's a bit small for Tik Tok and I'm just going to increase it as far as I can leaving a little bit of margin either side so that Tik Tok doesn't clip it all off and I think this is fine to have black borders around I think it's funny enough not to really need to cover the whole screen because if we do cover the whole screen obviously it's not going to work very well okay so this is our clip and already you can see from this clip this is starting to look like a Tik Tok post it's starting to look like a legit post and that's simple cutting and simple text over the top so what we're going to do now we're going to add a couple of special things to really Elevate this okay so let's give ourselves some music so we've done text let's give ourselves some music and some sound effects okay okay so I think maybe with the pen snapping maybe we do maybe a bone cracking sound effect or if we can find a pencil snapping that'd be great so what we'll do is we'll go into the audio part and then we've got sound effects in the bottom menu here so we're going to click on sound effects let's see I think if we type in pencil snap I'm not sure if we're going to get it but some sort of break would be fantastic finger snap [Applause] cool so I found cracked shell so like I said if you don't find the sound effect cap cut has loads of sound effects straight from within the app itself if not you can find sound effects from all sorts of place these paid versions or you can download them from certain platforms which I'm not going to tell you about but you can download them and find sound effects on those kind of social platforms so crackshell I think really good so let's do that and we want to make sure it's on the brake okay so let's take this crack shell I'm going to show you the first two sound effects and I'm going to add some more and I'll show you you'll never need another pencil I love that that's so good I love that break cool so let's split that clip off and I think here because we got a knife I think I want a sword sound effect okay so what I'm going to do is come into sound effects and I want kind of like a swooping sword so we've got a massive crack of me actually hitting the board so I'm probably not going to go mental on it but I think I should do a sword in regular pencil love it so we don't need to do it during the swi I mean as a video edit I would probably shoe ONN this on a high level edit we're doing Tik toks here so just try and find a sound effect that fits the bill basically that fits the scene so we've got crack you'll never need another pencil again regular pencil versus infinite pencil it goes on and on 2,000 years later and on perfect okay so I'm not going to go into all the sound effects I think these are really effective for the hook so if you want to you can put more sound effects in it but I think these are really cool to introduce the user to the Tik Tok post cool I think what we need to do next is have some music so what we can do is come into audio we come into sounds and you should be able to find music under commercial now when it comes to audio we need to add music as well so Cam's already been through how to find things like trending sounds and trending hashtags earlier in this video so I would highly suggest finding those sounds because they're going to help you gain more reach for now though I'm just going to create a piece of music or set a piece of music from here again we can come into audio we can come into sounds and if we go to commercial there's loads of stuff that you can use we don't need to go commercial CU you're organic so we just go to all sounds and you can just pick what kind of stuff you want for now I'm just going to pick a track okay this is fine it's important to have music to give atmosphere but like I said you should be using trending on organic you should definitely be using trending sounds okay so we've got our music as our background we've got our sound effects and I think this would really benefit from having some transitions as well that would be really handy it'd be really nice if we could do a transition at the very beginning because then that'll pull someone in maybe a quick Zoom would really engage the user off the bat so let's go in and have a look for uh cool so if we select our clip there's a couple of way to do Transitions okay on the clip you can animate in and out or if you look at this Center piece here you can just click on this little white square and you can put a transition in between the to okay if you want to so what we'll do is animate in so we'll come in here and there's animations at the bottom so we'll click our clip animations and then we'll do maybe let's not over complicate for this one you can do a variety of ones just try these out but I'm just going to flash in really really quickly okay need another pencil again regular pencil here and that should flash your in like that and that's really just boom straight off the bat just engaging so we're going to do that we'll probably put a couple of transitions in the middle as well I think we can add a transition here which will be quite cool think about what fits the bill we're not going to go too heavy on this I'm going to choose a pull in but think about if your clip's going one way maybe Pan the same way cuz it's good for the eye tracking for eye movement but for this I think a simple Pullin is going to do really well cool so that's our Transitions and we're going to autoc caption the sound next so what I'm going to do is I'm going to go to my main menu and go to text and then what we'll do you'll see you can write your own text Over the Top If you want but we're going to autoc caption the sound okay so we're going to go to auto captions and we're going to generate from all so we don't just want the voice over we want the 2,000 years later and then we're going to generate so what we're going to do now we're going to style it quickly so if we go down to the bottom here you've got style and there are templates on the on the pro version you've got some free ones as well but I think we're just going to go pretty bog standard okay let's have default text so I quite like the text as it is the great thing about having white text with a black outline around it is that it shows up on both dark and light parts of the footage so I would always suggest having a white section and a dark section whether it's the stroke around the outside or the bit in the middle so white and black works really well I love this text I think it works really well but if you really want to go to Tik tok's text we can go to font you can change the font you can go to Styles and you can put a background on the text so if we go screen if we go over to this menu here this moving menu here we can go to background and then we can add a Tik Tok style background let's make it white and once we've set that background style we can go to our text and make that text black and we'll do it without a stroke and so that'll give you that sort of Tik Tok style text with black text over a white background so it's up to you which kind of text you use those to have very typical for Tik Tok so I'll probably keep them around there and just a last minute thing as well you can add things like emojis and Graphics over the top so I can come in and do things like stickers so let's say I want to say that this is going to go on and on and on I might want to put an emoji in there of me being tired yeah so let's go to into stickers the Emoji section let's go find one of me looking really tired yep click that and that should enter and each layer will create its own new layer as well so all you have to do is click on the thing that you want to edit so let's go into this and you can move this little fell around you can change the size and the angle if you want you'll never need another pencil again regular pencil versus infinite pencil it goes on and on 2,000 years later and on get yours today all we'll get we'll get rid of the cap cut bit but as you can see I've not done something I've not done anything particularly special here cap cart's got so many cool things that you can do but just simple cutting text editing a little bit of creativity and fun you can make viral posts so so easily it's never been easier to make this kind of stuff so this brings us to the next part of this free course which is about account management now you want to make sure that you're using an iPhone now the reason why is because the iPhone does have a different algorithm to the Android phone so if you don't have an iPhone it doesn't mean you can't go vile I'm just saying the best chances are always on iPhone now you want to make sure that each phone is for one account you do not want to be putting eight Tik Tok accounts on one device cuz you will just kill the device and the algorithm within the device now if you already have a Tik Tok account that you've been m Ming around with for personal reasons on your phone you're going to want to factory reset that phone but please make sure that you back up all of your data now the next thing is vpns and SIM cards the thing that everyone wants to know about now let's say you do live outside the west and you're living in Africa or Asia or wherever else outside the west then i' would highly recommend that you buy a USA SIM card now it's super easy to get a USA SIM card you can literally go on Amazon or online and buy them you just need to type in USA SIM card and make sure that it works with your phone and you want to make sure that when you use the USA SIM card trick you need to fact reset the phone for this to work correctly and there's no other way you can still try it without factory resetting it but I'd highly recommend you do factory reset it for it to work correctly then when you sign up with Tik Tok with your USA SIM card it's going to ask you for your phone number you're then going to give it your new phone number as it's a US SIM card now once you've created your Tik Tok account you want to make sure that you're posting three times per day and you need to do this between 3 to 5 days and you cannot fail an upload so let's say between those 3 to 5 days you miss an upload you've just killed your account in terms of the viability the way me and my team do it is we make sure that we got at least one month's worth of content already ready to go in the calendar so these are the things that you must avoid in your early days of organic Tik Tok the first thing is do not rush your videos now although I've told you that you need between two and 4 weeks worth of content before you start posting that's because you get something called a new account Advantage the algorithm rewards you for your posting and your consistency that's how they reward you now a lot of people fall into the Trap of rushing their content meaning that they just make really rubbish quality content and then they complain why they don't go viral the next thing that I want to say is do not use hashtags if you do not know what you're doing if you just randomly start using hashtags one hashtag can honestly just get you Shadow band on your Tik Tok account now when it comes to posting content don't just do it one video after another video after another video you need to enable at least one to two hours between each video so if you're going to be posting three times a day do one in the morning do one in the afternoon and do one in the evening and monitor it over a week period and which time ranges do the best for you write that down and then post on those times now the first month when it comes to Tik Tok organic is the make or break for your viability most people see viral videos within the first 2 weeks to 3 weeks and their main success will come after 30 days that's super important to understand because that means whatever you do within that first 30 days of creating that first Tik Tok account that is the make or break now I want to move into metrics and numbers because you guys need to know what you're looking for when it comes to success and to know when you're going wrong now the bit that everyone wants to know is how much money I can make per amount of views so per million views that's how we track it so per every million views you're looking at making between $500 and $11,000 but in 2024 it's more around the $500 Mark now if you're making less than that that's not a problem that just means that your audience are a lowquality audience for that Niche but if you're making money there's nothing wrong with it and you should just carry on so when it comes to your first week you need to make sure that one video gets at least 10 ,000 views or consistently you're getting between 5,000 and 8,000 views per video those are the metrics that I look for when it comes to going viral in the long term now in the second week I'm looking for a video to get at least 500,000 views and above now if your product is a new product to the platform it's not really been seen on Tik Tok before then you need to have at least 100,000 views upwards now these are the numbers that I'm looking for in week two and week one and these are the numbers I'm giving you to let you guys know if you're on the right track when it comes to viability on the Tik Tok platform these are the same numbers that we look for and the reason why we've come up with these numbers is because when we've gone viral these are the numbers that we've seen when it comes to seeing varability in the long term now the third week is the make or break week that means that you're 21 days into your Tik Tok organic posting three to five times a day now on the third week you want to make sure that you've at least got one video that's gone viral that's anything over 500,000 views now if you've got a video on your account that's got let's say 100,000 views Plus test it for another week so that means if you've hit 100,000 views you're going to give it another week to see if you can get another video that goes viral at 500k views now this is super super important for you guys to pay attention to if you did not hit 500,000 views you've got to test that product again for a week to see if you can get a viral video now if that didn't plan and go to action and it failed and you didn't get over 100k views you kill the product that means that you completely shut it down you find a new product and you go again and you're probably watch this thinking ouch that would really hurt if I had to kill the product when I've put all that time and effort into it and I'm sorry to tell you this guys but that's just the game of going viral on organic Tik Tok sometimes it can take between 5 to 10 products before you find one that even goes viral but the best thing that you can do is tell yourself in your head that you're going to fail a few times that way if you do fail it's not going to hurt as much so let me know what you thought of now cold basically means that they don't really know who you are they don't trust you and then warm is they trust you they know who you are and they're likely to buy from you now you've got to understand this process for every dollar that you spend on Facebook ads or Tik Tok ads or even making organic traffic the effort that goes into it every visitor is worth a lot of money so if you do not have a system set up to reconvert them into being customers you're wasting your dollars because the whole point of having email marketing setup is if somebody adds something to the C but then leaves you're going to then send them an email to remind them or to persuade them with an offer to then buy again so you maximizing the dollar per spend by having this system in place now it doesn't have to be abandoned cart recovery it could be a customer win back getting somebody to buy from you again now some great ways to keep that email list warm is by doing giveaways where you can give away a product you can also do a Q&A with them these are great ways to interact with your customers to keep them engaged you don't always have to S to them the whole thing you can do is build a massive list and keep them warm and then over time they will look after you as long as you look after them so in this video I'm going to be going over how you can set all of this up with omnisend and Shopify so guys the first thing that you want to do is come to the omnisend website we're going to be giving you a link to use in the boot camp cheat sheet and description so you can click it and it will take you to a website like this then all you want to do is click the start free button here so you're going to be using it for completely free and then it's going to say how would you like to use omnisend and what you want to do is you want to hit sign up with Shopify and if you've already got a separate window open already logged into Shopify it should already recognize the store that you're logged into so you can see here it's already recognized mine and then you're just going to go to install app it might ask you if you haven't already logged into Shopify on an existing tab to relog in and then you can just click install then once you've done that you want to click install again and then it's going to bring you you to the onboarding process which says start using omnison for free it's going to ask for your email then a password your first name last name and then it might ask you what you're already currently using for me for example I'm just going to put none because I'm not and then you're going to want to agree with their terms of service and then you can sign up for their marketing newsletter if you want to it's completely down to you now they're going to send you an email to verify your account so make sure you do that so that you can use it and then you're going to get onto an onboarding process where it's going to ask you to add your logo if if it's already integrated with Shopify it will automatically pull that out and add it here so you can see I've not done anything here it's automatically pulled my Shopify branding out and imported it in now if your colors aren't correct you can change them if your fonts aren't correct you can change them and if you've got social medias you can click here add and you can add your social media then once you've done that click save brand assets and then where it says collect subscribers on your website you're going to click I'll do this later because you should already have a signup form at the bottom so we're going to reuse that for this and then the first thing that we want to do is do a welcome Series so we're going to be welcoming people to our newsletter so you want to click here where it says create a welcome workflow so you're going to be given the option on how much you want to be given to your welcome Series so this is you saying to your customer Welcome to our newsletter and in return we're going to give you a discount now I would recommend going aggressive at 15% and clicking continue and then it's going to say add an SMS Channel I'm going to use only email for this so use only email and then click Start workflow and then go to where it says show my workflows and now what we can do is we can see our automations have logged in here so what I'm going to do is click on this and then this going to bring us into the editing workflow where we can change what's being put in the email and when it's getting sent out so you can see here it says subscribers enter the workflow when signing up via omnison form customers exit the workflow when they place an order so if you click on this box on the right hand side it's going to show you your trigger so here is the trigger signup and then audience filter if you want to add one and exit conditions if you want one so when they place an order it will exit them out and then you can also do frequency so by enabling this if you've already got an email base this will stop you from spamming people's emails and if you spam people and they don't open the email then your open rate is going to go down and then you're going to get put into the junk box which is not good so I'd recommend if you already have an email base you turn this on or if you're thinking about growing a big one you also turn it on then once you've done that it's going to show you what the trigger is you're going to wait a minute before the email sent now I would keep it at a minute and then you're going to see below that it's going to show you what you're going to be sending them so here on the right it says subject line welcome to and then the account name so whoever the name is and then it's going to say here's a 15% discount off your first order to celebrate you joining us now you can customize it to make it a little bit more unique by saying welcome to joining us at your brand name or at our community you can make it a little bit personal so the best thing you can do here is by using chat gbt so you can see here I've opened up chat gbt now you want to be using the 40 cuz it's completely free for you guys to use so you might as well use it and you can see I put hello I'm making a welcome series email flow from my Ecom business my brand name is the brand name I sell and then you want to put what you're selling and then the benefit and then you're going to put please make me a subject line and headline now you can also say make me an offer as well so then that way it's going to help with the offit in the subject line so you can see here the subject line was welcome to K for it illuminate your path to stress relief with a 10% welcome discount because I've told chat GPT not to add a discount it hasn't added it but you can manually add it but you want to be using chat GPT to help you with the copywriting so what I would do is I'd add the discount here and copy it and then paste it in here as the subject line and then as the pre-edit I'd add it here as well and then once you've done that guys you can click update and then once you've clicked update you want to go back and click edit content and then when you click edit content this this is basically what your customer is going to see so you got your logo here it says welcome aboard and then you got the offer and then it's going to show them the discount and then it's going to say redeem discount now of course this is very basic so you might want to make changes to it so the few changes that you could make is you could start adding things so you can see here on the left you got quick ad so you can add text buttons videos images product listing reviews logos menus lines discount social media or HTML code if you know what you're doing now let's say for example I want to add an image I'm I'm going to go to where it says image drag it to where I want it so maybe I want it just below the offer now what I can do is go back to chat gbt and tell them to make me a welcome image so there you can see it says welcome to kakora eliminate your path to stress relief so what I could do is I could download that image go back to my email marketing and then add the image there now you don't have to add an image if you don't want to but I would definitely recommend you change the text so when instead of it saying welcome aboard you can go back to chat gbt or I could use this one instead or make it a little bit different and then again you want to change this as well so you can copy this and paste it to chat GPT and say I want you to readjust this text to fit my brand and then it will readjust the text and make it sound a bit better and once you're happy with the way your email looks you can click finish editing and then if you want to see what the email would literally look like on your phone you click it again and click send test email and then you're going to get an idea of what it would actually look like if it was sent to your mobile phone now once we've done that guys we can click close here in the top right and then we want to go back to where it says create a workflow under automations in this turquoise color and click create workflow and then the one that you want to do next is car abandon so you can see here on the left it says types we want to check mark car abandon and then you're going to get abandoned car or abandoned checkout now in my opinion you're going to need both of these so you want to add both of them to yours so the first one we're going to start with is the abandoned cart so I'm going to click customize workflow and then you can see here we're going to start off with the trigger so the trigger is is added product to car trigger filters again if you want to filter things out or do conditions you can and then you want to go to where it says here items in your car are selling out fast and this is the first email to try and recover them again you're going to want to go back to chat GPT and tell them that you're doing an abandoned cart sequence this is your brand name and they can redo the headlines for you so again you want to do the same thing you did with the welcome series change the subject line change the preh holder and make sure the rest of the settings you're happy with then you're going to go back down to where it's is wait 11 hours now I do not do 11 hours I would change this to 1 hour so if they abandoned the cart for 1 hour I would set it as the first trigger and then click update and then it will say your C misses you so this is the follow-up email again you're going to want to use chat chpt to finish this off for you go back to where it says wait 12 hours and I would change this to 4 hours I like the aggressive method it works well for me so click update so the last thing that we need to do is edit the content so click on these boxes again click edit content click yes Save and then here we go we've got the email with the abandoned cart flow so it's showing you a product catalog of the products that they've left in their car so what I'm going to be doing is I'm going to be clicking on this and you're going to see on the right hand side it says layout type numbers of products to show columns now if I'm only doing a one product store I'm going to add one so then that way only one product shows so if I'm doing a one product store there only needs to be one product on the email now if I'm doing let's say three products I'm going to add three here and then that way it's going to show three now if I want columns then I can do three columns as well that way it's going to show all three products on the same line instead of them having to scroll again the more somebody Scrolls the more less likely they are to actually take action again you're going to have to customize this based on how many products you've added to your store and then you're going to want to go to where it says product details and you can choose to add image title description price now I get rid of description and I only keep the title the image the price the old price and then the button and then it says product display show items that are out of stock it's up to you if you want to do that and then it says mobile stacking you can do stack on mobile and then you got the visibility you want it on all devices and then you've got colors again it should be based on your branding but if you're not happy with them you can change them here now if you want to add your product image you just click on the product image box and then you can see here it says product details will be filled in from the car so as long as you've set this up correctly and it's integrated with your store then you will have this integrated automatically and you will not have to do anything so I'd recommend that you run a few tests before you do this because you want to make sure that it's automatically picking up on the products that you've got on your store and if you've got any issues with synchronizing omnisend have got a great support team to reach out to them and then if you want to edit the buttons you click them and then you can change the text you can change the style and you can also change the alignment now again you're going to want to change the text here and here by using chat gbt because you want to make it a little bit more on brand and more convincing so I'd recommend that you do that and again once you're done you can click finish edit editing now something else that you might want to start doing is going to where it says saved layouts now save layouts is going to save you a lot of time now for example let's say I'm really happy with the design I've made obviously I would change this and this I'm then going to go here where the drop down menu is send test email and I'm going to go save as a template and then I'm going to call this abandoned car and then once I've done that guys I'm going to go to where it says finish editing so guys once youve filled out this content form you just want to do the last one and you want to import the template that we've just saved so that you can reuse it and again the only thing you're changing is the headline and the subject line to Unique text using chat gbt that way you're going to have custom text and remember the further you go down the funnel remember this is a funnel the first stage of the funnel the second stage and the third phase now the further you go down again the more aggressive your language needs to be and the offer needs to be that you're presenting now once you've done that guys you want to hit save and close and then you want to go to where it says create a workflow in the top right and then you want to select call abandon and then the next one that you're going to be doing is abandon checkout and it's going to be the one that shows the 3x next to the mailbox icon now abandoned checkout is different to abandoned C the C is the C and the checkout is when they're going to pay so it will trigger it on both scenarios and you need to make sure it will trigger it in both scenarios so now the emails can be the exact same now the emails can be identical but again it's going to trigger it depending on what part of the funnel they're in again the car is lower and the checkout is further down this is normally the last stage that they would abandon it but again the emails can be completely identical in terms of the words that you're using but just make sure instead of saying abandoned cart you're saying abandoned checkout now some other ones that I'd recommend that you guys do is by going to where it says post purchase and the first one that you want to do is product reviews now again these are optional the ones that are mandatory is the welcome abandoned C and checkout Now product reviews is a great way to build trust with the customer they might have not bought off you because they don't trust you so this is a great way for them to trust you now if you scroll down you've got something called cross out this is where you can basically try and sell another product to them on top of the existing one so you're going to increase the order value so this is another great option to do and then the last one that I'd recommend is customer reactivation times three not the X 1 times three time three means how many content forms they're going to be receiving over time this will help get a customer that hasn't bought from you in a month to come back and buy from you again so as long as you got more than one product on your store you're then going to bring them back now remember in business the reason why people fail is because they struggle to get repeat customers and that's why this is crucial to have on your form now in terms of setting them up guys it's the exact same process as I taught you before you want to make sure that you're using custom images using chat gbt and you want to make sure that you're using the text with chat gbt as long as you're giving it the right guidelines you need to tell it that you're doing an abandoned cart sequence you need to tell it that you're doing a part you need to tell it that you're doing a post purchase that way it can then write it in a format that works for that list now in the documentation section of the boot camp we will be leaving a cheat sheet to our own examples of emails that we've ran for our own stores so you can take a look at them in terms of how we've constructed them now once you've done that guys you want to make sure that your automations show that they're enabled and not in draft and again you want the welcome series as mandatory the abandoned cut and the abandoned checkout and then you want to make sure you're doing tests to see if they're actually working and if they're not contact omnisend and they can fix it now the next thing that you want to take a look at is campaigns in the top left now a campaign is when you're sending a one-off email and it could be to do with a giveaway now the most common one we do is a giveaway campaign and that way we're going to entice people to engage with our emails to help with the standard quality of our email campaign performance over time and to get people to want to enter the giveaway because if they don't win the giveaway we're going to give them a discount so if they don't win instead they're going to get a 50% discount so you come to campaigns you click create an email campaign you add the subject line you add the sender's name you add the send his email and then you can do the preh hold of the campaign name which will be giveaway and then it will show you what it would look like as a preview in the inbox now again we're going to be giving you some examples in the cheat sheet section of the documentation side of boot camp so you can see how we've done this before now once you've done that guys it will tell you to choose a template now there's loads of templates here the one that they don't have I believe is a giveaway one but the rest are pretty much here but we're going to give you an example of what a giveaway one would look like but you can see here they got loads they got Black Friday so you click Black Friday and they've already got ones that you can use and then as soon as you want to use it you click it and you can edit the template add what you want to it and then you can choose who you want to send the email to now again campaigns are very powerful for when you got big events coming up like I said Mother's Day Black Friday Christmas and then if you're doing giveaways every month to keep the list engaged and to try and convert people into customers that's a great option now the next thing that you need to bear in mind is audiences and here it's going to show you your contact list to show you who is available in your emails and what they're doing now something that you really want to look at is the segment section now segmen in is where you can create custom list of people on your email list so if I click create a segment it's going to give me a list of ones that I could do so I could do engage contacts I could do disengage contacts that way when we send campaigns out we don't want to be sending a really warm campaign to a called audience so we can segment them into warm and cold that way we're going to send certain campaigns to the warm guys and certain campaigns the cold guys so then that way you're not mixing them together it's crucial that you start segmenting your list between 100 contacts upwards because then that way you can really choose how you want the audience to react to the campaign based on the warmth of the audience now the next thing that I take into consideration is reports because reports is going to show you how well so if you go to deliverability it's going to show you are you on non-status Fair or good hygiene that way it's going to show you what is the current issue with your your emails are they Landing in junk are they not Landing in junk what's causing an issue everything will be here under deliverability it will show you how well your emails are doing now for e-commerce 35% open rate to 50% open rate is the industry standard for Ecom in 20124 so as long as you're matching those numbers that's a good sign now the next thing that I want to go over is if you come to your brand name in the top right and click on it it's going to show you how many free emails you've got left so you've got 500 free emails and this refreshes every 30 days so you get 500 a month for free and it refills every month now if you go over that then you need to go to where as view our plans and then once you hit 500 and Beyond you're going to be on the standard plan for $16 a month but we've partnered up with omnisense you're going to get a discount that will get you a cheaper plan so make sure you use the code that we give you inside of the boot camp now if you come to the top right hand section again you've got some other things like account management Store settings connected stores apps help center in case you need any help with the integration that you set up for your store using omnisend so guys that covers the email marketing section of the boot camp using omnisend now again I would say this is a mandatory thing to do because you want to get the maximum dollar value for each person that visits your store and remember it's mandatory to have the welcome series the abandoned car and the abandoned checkout and as soon as you've hit 100 subscribers on your list it's important to segment them out to make sure they're from warm to cold and it's also important to start running campaigns like giveaways to start getting people to engage with with your emails and again we've got some examples in the documentation section that you can have a look at that we've actually used for our own stores that being said guys that's email marketing make sure you do it don't forget it I know it's a boring thing to do but it is so important to do and again if you have any issues with integration contact omnis they're going to be there to help you so ladies and gentlemen if you've made
