Mathematics Requirements

Assumed Knowledge

  • Students should have prior mathematics knowledge equivalent to at least Band 4 in the NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) Mathematics Advanced course.
  • Students lacking this knowledge are advised to enroll in ECON1003 before or together with ECMT1010.

Changes in Prerequisites

  • As of 2024, some mathematics prerequisites for students starting undergraduate courses in Semester 1, 2025, have been removed.
  • Students should understand the necessary mathematics level and utilize mathematics learning support as needed.

Major/Minor Requirements
