in the form of s or es. But if it is a plural subject, then we take a singular verb with it. Sorry, if it is a singular subject, then we take SES.
If it is a plural subject in present tense, then we take plural verb in which S and ES are not to be used. Okay? So, as soon as the alarm rings, the alarm.
The alarm is a singular subject, so that's why it will be used with does. So, answer will be, no sooner does the alarm ring, not rings, if you do rings, your sentence will be wrong again. No sooner does the alarm ring.

But when we put a helping verb, the alarm does. So then what is this? The S of ring is taken over by do. Right?
When we put ES with do, then the S is done. So already by default, the verb that will be put with it, it will remain in its base form. That means it will remain in ring form. It will not be rings. So the alarm rings but the alarm does ring.
