The Legend of Bunnyman Man: A Reality Check

Right behind me is Bunnyman Man's Bridge. Apparently there was a psychopath that would dress as a bunny and kill people with an axe. And as crazy as this sounds, it might be real. Do not go into this bridge at night. Actual sightings began to happen. Guy that escaped from a mental asylum. With real police reports of people seeing... and getting attacked by someone dressed as a bunny. I wanna see if all of this is real, and I'm gonna do whatever it takes to figure out if the story of Bunnyman Man is real, and if Bunnyman Man is actually real. Here is the bridge. The infamous Bunnyman Man's Bridge. 1902. A bus is driving to Lurton Prison, is what it's called. Which I wanna make-I wanna see if that prison is actually even a real prison. Bus crashes. All these mental-I guess they're mental patients that are in this bus escape. And all of them get captured except a man named Douglas Grifton, who's believed to be the bunny man. So he has just this weird obsession with bunnies. He really loves bunnies. And apparently he hides in the woods near here, and then wherever he's hiding, he just kills all the bunnies. So it's a little confusing. Like he really likes them, but he also just, he like leaves dead bunnies wherever he's been. I don't get it. Is he like a scientist? Does he dissect them and like learn from them? No, he's just killing them. He just finds a bunny. Oh, he seems true. Uh, not if you're a bunny. He misses people, he misses society. And so he gets a bunny costume and then he starts going into town finding little kids and then he kills the parents and then kidnaps the kids specifically with a hatchet and people have claimed to found this hatchet or this axe and then apparently when he was running running away went after one of the kills he ran across the top of these train tracks and the train hit him and he died Anticlimactic or actually maybe that's like that's that's pretty climatic and then and then people say he haunts the bridge now the first thing I want to investigate All the locations, every location from the story. Bend over. No, we're going in the tunnel. What if Bunnymanman's in here? Bunnymanman! Oh, OK. First piece of evidence right over here. Bunnymanman was here. Taking a picture with my phone. The Bunnymanman train. That could have been the Jack train that killed Bunnymanman. OK, let's take some evidence photos. What's that say? Is that Bunnymanman right there? Is that a drawing of him? I don't know. That kinda looks like a chicken to me. Is it here? Is it actually? A and S. That would be so cool if we found like a hatchet. I feel like I, if I were a criminal, I would throw it in there. Have you seen any hatchets? The fact I don't. Honestly, we weren't learning anything, but then some of the locals started driving by and telling us a little bit about the real story. You guys are vlogging? Yeah. That's awesome. You know about Bunnymanman? Yeah, I mean... It's a historic area. Yeah. Yeah, it's crazy. You ever seen Bunnymanman? No. Yeah. During online time frame, it gets pretty busy. You assume you're shooting Bunnymanman? Yeah. So you do know, besides the usual, it's all fake usual. Is that it? The legend was made up by kids in Centerville, from Centerville High School back in 1975. I know the guys who made it up, one of the guys who made it up. It's a pain in the butt because people would come by. Wrong place? Wrong place? Isn't this Bunnymanman's Bridge? It supposedly happened because, like, we heard what the target is, and then Wollingham, and they actually have something called Bunnymanman for a road. That's Rascal. Bunny man, awesome. Well thank you, thank you. We'll go over there. Everything we heard honestly made me a lot more confused and none of the evidence was really anything. So I wanted to take a little step back and go to the local museum where apparently they had the actual axe. Did this mean Bunnymanman was actually real? But anyways, we drove there. They said they didn't actually have it, but told us where we could find out a little bit more. Awesome. Yeah, but also, have you known the public library at all? We have not. Okay, so definitely go there and visit their room. We searched for any information about Bunnymanman and basically found one book that had some stuff. This it? Yeah, yeah, that's it. Perfect. Bunnymanman's Bridge. It inspired the movie Donnie Darko. Have you been to travel? Wait, it has the mental health place. I looked into the mental facility and there aren't any public records about patients that go there. So I couldn't figure out if Joe was grifton. The apparent name of Bunnymanman did exist, but I don't know if that helps us at all. So we kept reading. As he finished saying the name of the person who was grifton, Three times I was stunned to see a glow appear in the tunnel. Okay, this is crazy. Oh, it was followed by a car. Okay. We now knew the bridge might be haunted, but this was just another rumor. It didn't really give us any information. So we headed to the prison and Bunnymanman's brewery that the man mentioned earlier when we found out... Bunnymanman Brewing Cafe, located in the historic former Lorden Reformatory. The prison that got mentioned in the story, Lorton Prison, is now a brewery. Hopefully we can talk to, like, the owner of something. Dude, oh I got a theory. Oh wait, wait this is a banger theory. Are you ready for this? I'm here. Okay, oh shoot, this might be it. This might be it. What if this whole story was made up by the brewery? Think about it. That would make so much sense. Their whole theme is Bunnymanman and their location is the prison where they were taking Bunnymanman in the story. But like look, this is the prison like literally from the story. Like that looks... Looks old as hell. Look, they got like actual prison towers over here. This is cool. Before talking to the people at Bunnyman Man's brewery, we decided to look around to see if there was any other information on Bunnyman Man here. This is like Shutter Island, dude. It is, bro. What if we're actually-we're like the mental ones. Oh. And we're just like making a video for no one. No one's even watching. This isn't even real. I'm not even real. We're both schizophrenic. I don't even know if you're really real. Like you could just be fake. And I'm just standing here alone talking to no one. I don't have a YouTube. We looked around a little bit more, but we weren't finding anything. Which took me to some research I did about Bunnymanman. So there's actually a few- videos and pictures I've found of this Bunnymanman figure apparently, and I found them all using a faster, smarter, and safer browser, Opera, which has literally helped me find everything I needed in the mysterious case of Bunnymanman, and also, I've had a bit of a partner with me on the internet. on this whole case. Hmm? No, no, actually Aria, an AI built into the browser that can help you with literally anything you need, whether that's answering whatever questions you may have, providing you with content based on your ideas and theories, like Bunnymanman might actually be a woman, and even helps you with words and phrases you might not know, which we don't know a lot, with its highlighting tool tip. Some of my favorite features that I've used that have legitimately helped me is Lucid Mode. It basically will enhance videos and photos, so we have some of the video that we've of Bunnymanman and I want to see if they were near here. Okay, so do any of these look near here? I'm not looking for a car. Maybe one of them. I think these are fake. I'm not gonna lie. And they have so many other features. A messenger, tab islands, music player, and a lot of other features that have helped me a ton. It's literally free to use. So click the first link in the description to literally download. Now it was finally time to get some answers from someone that worked at the brewery. So we went in and met one of the managers. Would you mind if we ask you a few questions about it? Yeah, for sure. This is actually one of the original prison doors from that. Oh, that's awesome. We got a we got a so yeah I was gonna ask about that because this is like the prison from the story right yeah So there's two stories to the money man. I'll give you the legend first So the main legend of it is that like during the 1890s to like 1900s there was a prisoner transport That was taking place between an insane asylum in the actual Lord prison where we're at right now two prisoners escaped during the bus Clash one got caught one dead. He was running around He was killing people doing all kinds of bad things killing rabbits and hanging everything from the bridge out Yeah, that is actually It's just one of those things that's become that urban legend within our area. But the main story actually happened in 1970 where there was a bunch of urban sprawl from DC where a lot of people were moving out of the city just trying to find cheaper housing. This gentleman was going around and hatcheting people's porches while they were building the houses trying to scare contractors off. So there's a police report filed for that as well as a couple making out on Guinea Road near where the train tracks are and where our original location is. A hatchet went flying through the back of their car windshield. Wow. So and they filed a police report on that. The hatchet. was in the Burke prison, the Burke like town hall, but now it's gone. During the 70s he was walking around wearing like an old bunny outfit. I've heard people come in and tell me their own Bunnymanman stories and call the police. He was actually never found. So people have claimed to be him since then. Like we had one guy show up to our main brewery saying that he was Bunnymanman. By the way, I'm actually Bunnymanman. It was the day that we were closed, so he claimed to be the bunny man and the timing lines matched up. We weren't 100% sure, have no proof on that, but we didn't want to engage him further. He was wearing bunny ears and that was just a whole crazy thing. So we could probably put him on like, that'd be better. Well, thank you so much. This is awesome. I didn't I didn't know Even though we found out buddy man was technically real. This wasn't over yet I still wanted to figure out who this was and the most popular part of this story is bunny man's bridge actually Haunted said to be haunted the most haunted road and said that they've seen a figure walking through the tunnel So that's what I headed back to the bridge to figure out before trying to figure out who is really behind So this is the first of many dude that is throwing me off And I killed him with my bare hands. But okay, we heard that this tunnel might just be haunted in general, not by Bunnymanman. So we gotta clear this up. So we got this thingamabobber. So I'm gonna go right in the middle of the tunnel. Set this up in the flashlight. All you have to do now is say Bunnymanman three times. As he finished saying the name three times. You want to do it with me? Say it. One, two, three. Bunnymanman. What? Bunnymanman. Bunnymanman. Bunnymanman, are you here? I honestly am more in the belief that there is something other than Bunnymanman here, but it's haunted. So does something haunt this tunnel? Ooh, this is crazy. This is a crazy theory right here. What if, when I put on the Bunnymanman hat, the spirit of Bunnymanman is here and he comes inside of me, and then I become Bunnymanman, and I... What, a Titan? Yeah. That would be f- Okay, well it won't be my fault if I attack you, just remember that. Are you here, Kevin? Are you going to send us down there? Nothing was really lighting up or going off, so we moved on to this radio. And it goes through stations, and you can pick up words, and apparently the spirits can use this to talk to you. So, I feel like this would be our best bet to figure out if something or someone other than Bunnymanman was here. Is anyone here with us in this tunnel? Did anyone... Did anyone die here? Did that laugh? Yeah. That was creepy. May I ask what's so funny? Hey there. Hey there. He's dead? Who's dead? Bunnymanman? What is your name? Ethan. He's bad for Ethan. Sounds like he's bad. Oh, that's freaky. I forgot we left that there. Jesus. Why were you attacking people? Personal something? I'm just trying to figure out if there's any spirit or anything in this cave. Could you just give me a very clear, very clear yes. If there's something here. I'm gonna go ahead and say my personal, professional opinion on this place is it's not haunted. So now, there was really just one thing left to try to figure out. Who was the man under the costume? It wasn't Douglas Grifton, that was fake. So I tried reaching out to Facebook groups in the area, tried reaching out to people who had lived in the area for a long time and got almost no responses. So when that didn't work, I looked back to what we know is the real story of Bunnymanman. Wish to explain a little bit more. So the axe went through a car of a man named Robert Bennett who is also with his fiancee. And this all happened on Guinea Road, But there there wasn't much to see there. It was literally just a road I tried to find Robert honestly for hours and I couldn't and then to find the axe I'm pretty sure they took it from the museum or town hall and now Robert has it I'm pretty sure and I can't find Robert so I found out there technically was a bunny man the bridge I don't think was haunted and unfortunately, we couldn't figure out the identity of bunny man But by the way guys, I'm doing this thing where you guys clip my videos, post them on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and the highest viewed video each week, every single week.
