Welcome to Intuitive Astrology with Molly McCord. Thank you so much for joining me today as we're going to discuss the significant astrology of September 2025. This month will pack a punch with two eclipses, the beginning of a lunar reversal cycle that lasts into 2027. Saturn retrograding back into Pisces, Uranus stationing retrograde in Gemini. The south node in Virgo is going to be quite prominent this month as well. Plus, we see the personal planets each changing signs throughout the month. So, in this podcast, I'm going to discuss the bigger overarching energies of the month to provide a heads up on what to plan for and expect in your own life. And then in my Wednesday podcast is where we focus in on more of the specific dayto-day transiting aspects. So, consider this the zooming out viewpoint. So, we'll begin by the energetic shift that happens on September 1st as Saturn is retrograde and returns to Pisces for 5 and a half months, traveling back to 25° of Pisces until November 27th. As Saturn moves from 0° of Aries, a very important world point of creation, and re-enters the closing degrees of Pisces, we're meant to see with responsibility what we need to tend to and clear out. This brings up what is unfinished for you, including projects, tasks, commitments, and work agreements that you need to finish, even if it was put off and forgotten. As September begins, there could be a sense of something coming back around that you need to tend to, and it can't be postponed any longer. Saturn always requires our responsibility and showing up for what we need to put work and effort into. And this could bring up what was not completed or put on pause since May. May 2025 was when Saturn was last at 29° of Pisces. And after the brief voyage into Aries, now there's a return to what you're ending in this cycle that's also related to karma, healing, and spiritual growth. Now we say these words a lot but Saturn brings our attention to what is really transpiring in our everyday life and physical world. There are choices to be made here around what you are done with and moving away from fully and completely and that's a big part of the pressure that Saturn is bringing through. You could sense it. Perhaps you've needed a break from it. Uh the Saturn and Pisces energy will not let you disassociate or escape out the side door. It's going to bring back around. This is what you said you would do. This was the agreement. This was the soul contract that you signed. So over the next 5 and 1/2 months starting September 1st until February 14th, 2026, this Saturn and Pisces transit, you may have a renewed spiritual understanding of what you are facing, managing, and closing out. Saturn in Aries would have given you a sense of the new beginnings that are starting to take shape and take root for your next chapter. And this could be motivating and understanding this is what I'm going to finalize and where I'm going to also establish a practical routine to take care of what I've got to do. So Saturn brings in a grounded approach to help with any overwhelm or uncertainty that you might be moving through especially in these last five degrees of Pisces. So, as September begins, look at how you can approach something from a structured place that gives you a sense of grounded boundaries and perhaps devise a plan of how to manage what you need to do. Maybe you put it in a calendar, maybe not, but Saturn says, "Let's do this." And I'm even feeling the energy of let's do this together. and together could mean with the assistance of your angels, your spirit guides, your other realms helping you with whatever is needing to be finalized. And Saturn will also provide a steadiness here that the Pisces energy doesn't always want. So Saturn can bring in more consistency which can show you how you are making some changes that are right on time and being able to handle whatever you need to handle. Saturn has got you. Saturn is the boss, the manager, the CEO. And so perhaps that's part of the energy you call forth and activate. I will approach this as the CEO of my spiritual journey and I will trust what I need to do and take care of in order to set myself free and move on to the next cycle. Now, I have done separate podcasts for you specifically on Saturn and Pisces. So, it might help to revisit those if you need even more understanding of this re-entry back into Pisces. Now, right after Saturn retrogrades into Pisces, we're going to see Uranus station retrograde on September 6th. And this occurs in Gemini at 1°ree 28 minutes. So this is the first station retrograde in Gemini that Uranus experiences and I think it's going to be extra eyeopening, potentially shocking because Uranus is assigned with revolutionizing information and stories that we've been curious about, wondering about, wanting to know more. That Gemini energy is tell me more. What's the gossip? What's the behindthe-scenes news? What's going on? And Uranus is going to station retrograde here and create some shock waves in the collective that can be quite disruptive. Uranus loves that. Uranus loves a good shock wave. Loves a good disruption. And this can show up through our collective systems, energy grids, technologies, cloud storage, databases. The bigger systems that connect multiple areas of an industry. What immediately comes to mind would be air travel and airlines and the various networks that are used to connect all the planes in the air at any one time. There can also be some issues with the energy grid when Uranus stations retrograde in Gemini. Even if these are only in localized areas and not for example a global or worldwide effect, there could be even more problems revealed around how the expansion of AI data centers are continuing to drastically consume more energy and more water than expected. And there could be some new revelations and publications around what is specifically happening that will affect consumers. And that is part of Gemini is how the energies come into your everyday world and they do affect what you experience in a day. And as I say all this, I'm getting the visual of some specific services being temporarily shut down in order to see what happens when, for example, this water treatment center is not fully operating. Now, I'm also seeing that there are new sources of energy and power that are being tested and experimented with. And I think that's part of what's going on behind the scenes. So I'm feeling like in September there's going to be tests to the collective energy grid that are going to be parts of ongoing experiments that are prioritizing what AI data centers need by pulling on energy and resources from other lesser used or lesser valued services. So yeah, I'm seeing a dam that obviously generates hydro power and hydroele electricity. These are the kinds of solutions that are being tested and used. I'm I'm seeing it across elements here. So I'm seeing it in the ongoing experimentation that again values one resource over other resources. So I believe this is going to be part of what we are fully entering into and that there could be some more services and resources that are cut back or even eliminated because their usage is being moved into different priorities. And so as Uranus stations retrograde, it will reenter Taurus on November 9th. And as it does so, it comes back to shake up those resources, economics, and financial market energies. Uranus returning to Taurus is going to continue to shake the foundation of the global economy, financial markets, investments, natural resources, the current state of the planet, including pollution, materialism, and harvesting of the Earth's resources. Plus, it brings up a deeper look at our cultural values and what we really want to own and possess that has meaning to us. Now, Uranus works on the collective and individual level, triggering us to see what has meaning, what is supporting a worthwhile lifestyle. What is excessive? What is no longer needed? What have you been holding on to perhaps for years or decades that you're realizing, I don't want this anymore. this doesn't have any more significance to me. I want to be free and I want more liberation from what I thought would make me happy. I feel that Uranus in Taurus is actually redirecting us into what is true happiness to you, what brings about joy, what gives you a sense of life, sparks creativity, and also connects you to what you appreciate, what you truly appreciate. So, as Uranus returns to Taurus, there's more shaking of the Earth, literally more big shaking on the planet. There's also going to be more of an understanding that what you thought you had to hold on to no longer has its grip on you. So, this could be part of the reverse experience where you thought you had to hold on to something, but you realize, no, it's keeping me hostage. It's holding on to me and I want to step back and step away from what I thought was a comfort zone, a security blanket or something essential to my personal identity. This is part of how we are evolving of course as Uranus comes in and has us ask at a deeper level, is this really important to me or not? And Uranus is going to travel back to 27° of Taurus until February 3rd or I guess to 27° 28 minutes of Taurus. And it means that the last few months of 2025 and I would say the first quarter of 2026 is going to bring about even more financial instability and shake up the economy even more. This is the final pass of Uranus in Taurus from November 9th until April 26th, 2026. So, the next 5 and 1/2 months will be the final reckoning, if you will, of Uranus and Taurus, where it completes the job of renovating those Taurus values and ideals and is meant to change things up permanently. I do have separate podcasts for you discussing Uranus and Taurus if you would like to give those a listen and I go into more of a deep dive of the intentionality behind Uranus in Taurus and what it's meant to free you from. So right away we can see that September, the first week of September is significant in how the energies are returning us to previous territory and bringing in what we need to address and how we're ready to manage it or handle it from a higher state of awareness. Now on September 7th, we have the Pisces lunar eclipse at 15° of Pisces. This is the first lunar eclipse of two in September and it's working with the north node which will be at 18° of Pisces. So, this is a lunar eclipse that's meant to emotionally guide you into a higher spiritual path that opens up more of what you're ready to trust at the highest level of your being. And this is about then releasing what no longer serves you and what no longer works for you. Now, I did a podcast for you just last week on this Pisces lunar eclipse. So, I don't want to repeat myself here. Instead, I want to use this to go into more of what eclipse season is going to be guiding us through in September. So, this eclipse is at 15° of Pisces in your chart. The most important thing to identify is the house placement where you have 15° of Pisces. This is where you are learning more about Pisces themes, expressions, and needs. Eclipses will work with you more powerfully when they are conjunct any planets or points around 15° of Pisces. And they'll be also working with you if you have any planets or points around 15°. I would say 5° before 5° after. So let's just call it that middle second deckan of Pisces. So 10° to 20° of Pisces and then apply those same degree points 10 to 20° of the mutable signs which are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and also the water signs of Cancer and Scorpio. This eclipse will be working with you most powerfully. If you have planets or points between 10 to 20 degrees of any of these signs, you can also include of course the earth signs of Taurus and Capricorn. This is a transitional energy of ascension to move you forward on your path to welcome in more that will support your growth and also connect you to a new level of mastery with these Pisces eclipse energies. Now, right after this eclipse, the energy is going to shift to focus on the south node in Virgo as it is moving through your chart and at 18° of Virgo, which is going to bring about a powerful release point throughout the month of September. 18° of Virgo, the South Node is here working with the Sun and Mercury who are each moving through Virgo this month. And then Venus will reach the south node in Virgo in early October. But this is the area of your chart where you are sweeping out and removing what is no longer correct for you. That's a Virgo word. Virgo likes this is correct. This is good. This is excellent. So what is no longer good enough for you? What doesn't meet your standards? And the purpose is to own it. Own it. say, "This isn't good enough for me anymore. I don't want this anymore." Where is your discernment saying, "No." Where do you find yourself being overly critical, stressed, or worried? Those would be powerful indicators that this is out of alignment with you, whatever this might be. So, as we move through, especially the middle of September from the Pisces lunar eclipse on September 7th until the Virgo solar eclipse on September 21st, that south node in Virgo is sweeping, eliminating, and closing out what is no longer good enough for you. And that's why I want this to feel empowering because the Virgo energy can stay in service and responsibility long past your due date. You're the last one sitting at the desk. Everyone else has clocked out and gone home and you're working away because it thinks it makes you a good person or you think it's demonstrating your competency and that you're devoted and that you'll do the job to the best of your ability. And so you can get stuck in these patterns of it's never enough. I'm never complete. I have to do more. And that is what we are meant to be closing out and moving away from. And to see that small internal critic continue to shrink and even be dissolved into a state of pure light where this is a deep reprogramming. Especially if you have planets or points here in Virgo, the middle degrees of Virgo, it's being very honest with yourself around what you keep churning through and working towards that feels like you never quite reach that carrot on a stick. It's always just out of reach to the point that it's exhausting you. And this September is about stopping that pattern or that habit, if this applies to you, and saying, "No more. I'm not going to do this to myself. I'm not going to beat myself up, push myself to these extremes, or keep working to my own detriment." That north node in Pisces is saying, "Let yourself off the hook. Let it go. You've done the best you can. It's okay to be free from this." And that's part of the karma closing out because some of you, I'm getting the visual, some of you have overextended your karma. You're like, if I have to pay $10 towards this karma, here's 50. And the universe is saying, just stop. Just stop. We don't need more. You don't have to do more. Virgo is a very doing energy. And this is where the universe is saying, pull it back. Re it into yourself. Give that extra 40 bucks to you. Don't overpay others. Give it to you. fortify who you are, what you need, and how loved and appreciated you are. And I'm feeling like for some of you, this sun in Virgo journey is actually about calling in more personal rituals and loving ceremonies that support the truth of your skills, your intentions, and your gifts. And that is a Virgo quality is how we bring in energy rituals and loving ceremonies that provide intentionality to our energy in our lives. And this might be a month when you are connected with more of those personal practices and daily devotions that can calm calm the nervous system, calm the busy body, and calm the mind. Because a calm Virgo presence is a powerful beautiful thing whereas an overactive overdoing overproducing Virgo energy can be quite erratic and unsettled. So this is a calming influence here at looking at if your energy is hyperactive in some way. Use September to prioritize your health, your peace and more presence with yourself. Maybe this hyperactivity is in the body such as hypertension, hyper thyroidism, hyper anxiety and this can lead to the burnout among other things. But I'm just seeing it from the energetic perspective that there's something here that needs to be calmed, soothed, and intentionally settled. So then we approach on September 21st the Virgo solar eclipse at 29° 5 minutes of Virgo exact at 3:54 p.m. Eastern time and less than 24 hours later the sun enters Libra which is the fall equinox here in the northern hemisphere and is a world point at 0° of Libra because it's a cardinal sign. And as the sun then moves into Libra, it has the first ever opposition to Neptune retrograde in Aries at 0 degrees, meaning the first ever opposition between the sun in Libra and Neptune in Aries in our lifetime. This is a very impactful Virgo solar eclipse. And energetically I'm seeing it as earthshaking developments that there is a powerful split at the eclipse and equinox points that will shake the planet in some way cuz I'm literally seeing these ripple effects from the earth going into the cosmos. And it looks like some type of deep eruption, quake, split of some kind as the earth continues to readjust its relationship with the sun. It also signifies September brings in more extreme weather developments and weather movements, which is part of Saturn returning into Pisces, especially the final degree of Pisces. So, there's going to be earth shaking weather developments here in September. um that can bring about some big changes on the earth's surface, but it stems from the core. And again, I'm just seeing these ruptures. And I know the Earth has been very dynamic and very active. We've had a lot of solar activity as well over the past number of weeks and months. But there's something earthshaking here that is developing and there is a release point as we get to the equinox and as this Virgo solar eclipse at the final critical degree of Virgo reveals what we are moving away from. Now an eclipse at 29° is going to bring about pressure. It has a sense of this is done. This is complete. There is mastery here. But a solar eclipse which is a new moon is also a reset, a new start. So the earth is moving into this powerful new reset of its energies and we are feeling that of course but I'm feeling like it gets strongly activated as we move through September and there are more shakes and shocks. We'll be talking more about the Virgo solar eclipse in a separate podcast, but it holds the energy of an important threshold point. And that's because not only is it at that final degree of Virgo, mutable Earth preparing for a new start, getting ready for the next beginning. Well, that next beginning occurs within 24 hours as the sun moves into Libra and has that opposition to Neptune and Aries. So the sun in Libra brings our attention to who are we working with? How can we cooperate together? It's establishing the importance of communication, cooperation, sharing and partnerships. And then the opposition to Neptune in Aries for the first time in our lives is bringing up but who's real? What's real? Who is this person? Who am I in relationship with this person? It can be hard to see things clearly. It can be hard to note if you're seeing them accurately, if they're seeing you accurately. And it also means that there's a lot more going on behind the scenes that is being recalibrated and reworked. There are partnerships that are going to fall through and not move forward. There are going to be truths revealed. Um, if anyone has been propping up a facade or trying to appear a certain way that they really aren't, those energies are going to start to run dry. It's sort of like a mirror is held up which is part of the sun in Libra and there is more doubt about what has been stated, expressed, told or created especially from those who have very low vibrational intentions and are acting with malice. Again, these connections are going to fall apart and fall down. And then the connections that have a much higher vibration that are definitely in the spiritual realms and have a multi-dimensional component to them, they gain strength and there's more of this union energy here as the sun moves into Libra where there is equal harmony that's created and even brought into current established working relationships, partnerships, anywhere there's that equal one- on-one exchange. change. The sun in Libra is going to strengthen what is for the highest and best good of each person while the Neptune in Aries opposition removes layers of false self. This also means that agreements and contracts will fall through. It is not a good time to be making any long-term decisions under this influence because there will be things you don't see accurately until after the sun moves forward and moves away from that opposition to Neptune. In other words, there's more you need to know or understand about someone before signing on a dotted line. But there is going to be good news that follows because after this opposition to Neptune then the sun in Libra has an air grand trine with Uranus retrograde in Gemini and Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. Now this is the same air grand trying configuration that we were talking about earlier in August when Mars was in Libra and had the same dance where Mars opposed Saturn and Neptune in Aries and then had an air grand trine with Uranus and Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius. Now, here comes the sun making that same configuration and the sun lights up what was discussed and being negotiated back in August. The sun can bring in a let's do it energy which can be the second approach. So think of it as August was the first time of discussion, cooperation, figuring things out and here comes that sun in Libra after the equinox bringing in this is the plan to follow. Let's make this happen or let's have a second round of discussion. Revisit everyone come back together. Let's talk about it again and make some clear agreements. So this is great relationship energy as it can further an intention, agenda or cause and also connect the dots on what was left hanging and unresolved. Great resolution energy here and more of a bigger picture understanding of what is on the table. This is very social. A lot can be happening in your world when there is an air grand trine. a lot of communications, conversations, ideas, options. And because an air grand trine is called a closed circuit of energy, you could just feel all of that buzzing around within you. A lot on your mind, a lot of plans. What I do about this, what I do about that? But the energy continues to circulate. And that means there is flow here in solving problems, figuring out next steps, and ideally putting a plan into motion. Especially with the power of the sun trining Pluto and the sun trining Uranus. These are creative breakthroughs, very dynamic. Something maybe you're deciding for the first time in your life. It's a breakthrough in relationships, partnerships, communications where you share with others. For some of you, this can be in your business with your clients, with those that you are supporting and or people you go to for healing, guidance or support. That sun in Libra wants to elevate our experiences of partnerships, connections, and relating. And this is an air grand trine that can do that. So, where are you ready to elevate the Libra energies in your life and in your chart with this air grand trine that will be exact at one degree of the air signs September 23rd and September 24th. Now, it's important to note that this air grand trine is going to continue to persist into 2029. This is the first time we're experiencing it here in September 2025. But as Pluto and Aquarius and Uranus and Gemini continue to move through these air signs, they stay in an ongoing trine with each other into 2029. And when the sun enters Libra every September and October, it activates more of this growth and development in these Libra themes. So whatever is beginning or coming to your awareness at this time in September again in the early degrees of Libra, it continues to flourish, evolve, and grow into 2029 and beyond. So it's important to be intentional with what you're realizing in Libra in your life. Are you in reciprocal relationships? Are you in the mutual exchange of energies with others? At a core individual level, this brings up your internal balance between your own divine masculine and divine feminine energies. How are those operating for you? Is one more than the other? Are they both healthy, respectful, and in an internal union? Is one more active than the other? Does one hold more shadow expression or toxic energy than the others? This is going to ignite what needs to be brought into balance internally so that you can be in the full healthy expression of Libra energies as they continue to evolve here through an ongoing air grand trine that will occur every year. And this is such a big deal because it's happening for the first time in our lives. And again, it's elevating relationships, connections, and partnerships. Now, last week is when I shared with you that I have this new program about manifesting with the minor grand trine. And that is something I just have to throw in here really quickly that this is an energy you want to know in your own chart. You want to track how it's going to unfold for you starting this month into 2029. So, I'm not going to go into more details of it right now. I'll just put the link below the podcast, but please check it out because this is a rare configuration that is meant to guide you into these next level manifestations that we've never had before. And I know I say that a lot, but it's true. It's that special at a soul level. This is what your soul desires. This is perhaps what your heart desires. And the universe is bringing in these opportunities and connections now, not only for your own soul growth, but to assist the planet. Because there are parts of our experience that we're meant to do in harmony with others. We're meant to coexist in peace, love, and joy with others. And this is what the planet needs more of now. So there's these opportunities here to create more powerful connections and lovebased unions that are good for humanity. And that's one of the reasons why it's good to see how that tracks for you and where the universe is steering you into these energies. It could bring up some things in your own personal relationships that you haven't seen before, but you have a sense of, yeah, I'm ready to transform this. I want to do this differently. I want to be a better version of myself. And going back to what I mentioned previously, you could be raising your own personal standards of what you expect of yourself this month. And that then has a ripple effect through your connections and relationships. So I feel that this is part of why September is steering us into some new higher pathways and to also stay aware of who you meet or who comes through for you. Now, there's one more thing I want to touch on here for the month of September 2025, and that is the lunar reversal that begins this month. And let me explain what that is. So, in a typical lunar cycle, we have a new moon in a sign. We just had the new moon in Virgo, for example, and then two weeks later, we have the full moon in the opposite sign. So, that means the new moon was in Virgo. So then the full moon which is the lunar eclipse is in Pisces. This is the typical lunar cycle. But what we're entering is a lunar reversal that begins when we have two new moons in the same sign. In Virgo season, we have two Virgo new moons with the second one occurring at 29° of Virgo on September 21st. And 2 weeks later, the full moon is going to be in Aries. We'll have the Aries full moon at 14° and then 2 weeks later, there will be a Libra new moon. Instead of having the Libra new moon first followed by the Aries full moon, which is what is typical in Libra season, it's in reverse. We get the Aries full moon followed by the Libra new moon 2 weeks later. This is why it's called a lunar reversal because the full moon and the new moon seem to be operating backwards. Now, I described this back in 2021 with a video on YouTube, and it might help to go through that video if you need more understanding on how this works. In fact, I'll probably do another video just to explain it more. But when we have a lunar reversal cycle begin, it means that we're in a different operating mode on a daily basis with what we are approaching and how we're moving through it. A lunar reversal can mean that there's more emotions that come up first and we have to figure it out and get ourselves together before the new moon. It can mean that we feel more defensive, that there's more coming up or coming around that is bigger and we need to calm and settle it before the new moon. It can feel like you always are resetting something or that there are more corrections to be made when we're in a lunar reversal cycle. And so it begins here in September 2025 and it lasts until May 2027. The lunar reversal cycle tends to feel like a lack of flow and that you personally need more downtime to reset, gather yourself together and feel present in the moment and the current energies. So again, after this second Virgo new moon, which is that solar eclipse on September 21st, 2 weeks later is the Aries full moon, which will bring to your attention, how you're personally feeling around these energies, what you now want to start versus what you have decided you're moving away from. Of course, that's in October, so we'll hold off on discussing that right now. We have enough in front of us here in September and I hope this has given you a good heads up on the main energies of the month. Now, it is worth noting just really quickly that the personal planets are all changing signs here in September. We have a fastm moving Mercury that starts the month in Leo, moves through all of Virgo, and then ends the month in Libra. This is typical for the Mercury cycle after the retrograde. So fastmoving Mercury in September, Venus enters Virgo September 19th and Mars enters Scorpio September 22nd. So see how there's a lot changing around the Libra equinox. the planets are moving into different gears and I feel again there's going to be some big developments occurring around the Virgo solar eclipse and the Libra equinox.
