so far you've been seeing short form improvised comedy very game likee very fastpaced what you're going to see now is long form improvisation see me afterwards if you want to know some more fun facts about the history of long form improv uh most of you don't care though you just want to laugh am I right fantastic your luck CU there's a very funny very talented group of people about to take the stage you'll be seeing uh like I said longer scenes longer things uh they'll be doing edits and other fun things and exploring ideas from a monologue we'll get a one-word suggestion from you the audience and then one of our cast members will tell a true personal story from their life tell you an opinion they have and then that'll Inspire our scenes and characters and all the fun does that sound good I think you can do a little better than that that that for Su [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Lev sorry all right guys so for our first monologue we need a suggestion uh as as we've been doing all night so you're pretty good at it now uh could we get a possession of a relationship um a I don't know it could be people work together or ex's X okay so exes guys okay uh excess makes me think about skydiving uh let me a bit explain a while ago it was 200 N I I got divorced because I learned that my wife is cheating on me and I decided to do as much crazy stuff as was can imagine and skydiving was one of it um so uh I said I I have zero ideas about how it does how scary it is and stuff like that and uh I sign up for a jump and it was like not jump with a tandem jump when you like have a a guy and you st to the guy and you go like it was a jump and you have to uh step by yourself and it's height is not that much it's like 600 M or something like that and the it started very very funny was like really nice everyone's so excited was nice weather it was um summertime hot and we were training for the most important thing in the skydiving is actually Landing because we jump jumping with a military parachutes it's not that fancy like in the movies in your land softly and nicely it's like if you made a mistake you will break your legs hardcore stuff so we're training the whole day how to like properly land on the land um on the legs and closer to the time when the people were about about to jump I started to see like a Smiles on the face come to fade out and when we put out the parachutes we was really really heavy like um a main parachute weigh about 20 kilos and you have a reserve parachute which weighs about I think eight to 10 so it's like huge here and when I went to the plane um and plan start getting more like up and up you start to see like people start to questioning the decision they Tak in life um and then I saw the video of from the from the plane before the jump uh we were like waiting all the all the clothes which you don't um scare to like damage and get like some grass on it and stuff like that dirt and my clothes were like a kind of greenish stuff like a military clothes and I noticed like on the video video after what my my face become became like almost like the same color as my um and when I was was time to my jump I I went like to the plane I was standing like that and there was an instructor here and my parachute was um I was attached to the plane so I don't have to open it actually it will open for me all I need to just is like to jump and I was standing and my legs were shaking like this and then I say go and then go and after 3 seconds parachute opened and it became so so quiet and it was so so so beautiful and until the land happened that was really really bad and this was what my ex jna are you sure you really want to do this because I'm really scared um yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah you always told me that I have to do this to like to succeed in life like to to be better at University well uh yeah and I think that makes a lot of sense it speaks for itself um everybody knows if you can jump out of a plane you can succeed in University okay because last time you told me you you you would make me copy your homework and now you make me jump I sweetie is she not happy about the jumping out a plane thing that we talked about no she doesn't want to do it well you know she grew up in a military household what do she expect yeah you must do it at a military base darling yeah um okay good point um well so what do we do do we uh got to the military base so I understand you want to learn skydiving I I I I thought I thought you wanted to S seeing that University come on okay the most important thing about skydiving is you don't go with modern technology that will make it too easy for you this is a Soviet era backpack this is World War I you seem like a smart kid you can handle in there's a hole okay oh sorry I forgot to give you the seing kit what what don't you want to graduate from college so it come on four minutes okay okay so faster okay okay make her do it no no Imaging there's a machine gun overhead right now okay okay imagine it okay I I'm I'm imagining it okay done done done I I did so son yes Dad I cannot pay the fee for the University again what why not this is not working you don't do your house homework or anything I will send you to a camp [Music] no you fall from the side the I was thees please no you need to go to the camp I made my decision don't do that don't do this to me okay yes Child [Laughter] Services want to explain this as you know cost of living his heart and I'm paying his university taes I mean don't look as he's crying he's like 18 years old you disgust [Applause] [Music] me what's up so you know he's not he's not returning my my my text Jessica you know he's not returning my text so it's the only chance you know I need to do something just just dramatic with my life you know I need like I need a big change you know you know he has not texted me back I need to go to the to the Everest now I need to I need to go you know look we tried to kill aaro we got the BL do you really think the effort is going to make a change he going to change his mind oh in your heart of hearts why would it work if you go to the Everest he doesn't love you [Music] [Laughter] honey listen it's not you it's me but you just keep running off and doing these weird trips like that's going to make me more [Laughter] interesting didn't make you more interested in me also I changed my hair yeah I saw that saw that you've got weird weaves in it where did you you got that in the Himalayas presumably yeah I got I got some unicorns also yeah okay well it's just it's just weird that you sort of you sort of come to my work um you know with a with a parachute to jump on of my building but yeah yeah I just wanted to you know to be not like not an ordinary girl you know I know when I said on my hinge profile that I was into Adventure like I didn't what what did you mean well you know go going out for espresso [Laughter] Martini you don't need to jump out of a plane for me we're never getting back together darling oh did you tell him yeah I did sorry you I'm you not to see this we're together now what yeah I know we're brothers and I really shouldn't have done that you've met your brother [Laughter] presumably we're estranged very estranged David I have to go climb a [Laughter] mountain hello I've uh had a call from Miss lenworth oh no not miss lenworth you been cheting on the math yes Dad I I did but it was only because I wanted to get good grades and fulfill your lifetime ambition of me becom a mathematician mathematicians don't cheat Jimmy it's an honorable do it use a calculator I mean that's kind [Laughter] of this is you're my son how could you father please forgive me I'm look I just I'm not very good at sports okay that's true and I know that's what you always wanted mathematician and sports and the same thing but I just can't do it all right I need to cheat it's sort of what I get my rock you it gives me a thrill you know what should give you a thrill what a massive calculator yes I forgot I mean the backpack I keep him always in the same place it's stupid a backpack for me what but whatever for son I have a confession to make I used to be [ __ ] at mad too but then I dropped out of an airplane above the Himalaya okay you ready you're going to jump out 10 seconds and you're going to be really good at Mass okay right go on one two three what that's how you got good at matth well I mean there was a bit more to it um extraordinary so I I stayed in a in a monastery with a bunch of monks for 5 Years cuz I didn't know where I was well well welcome to the m I'm not sure the human body I want to hear what you want to achieve in your life I just want my dad to be proud of me you did all of that before I was born yeah it's 30 years or something so you're not so you feel like you see a bit of me and you yes sir we Smiths we come from a long line of no Goods there's this one point in your life where everything changes really is it when I jump out of an airplane and then go to a Tibetan Monastery might wow [Music] you listen um we've been in this PhD for a long time and I just I'm really jealous of your mouth how did you how are you doing it I need to know this is going to shock you Jenny I wasn't always good at [Music] MTH okay folks can we have another word just any word at all gist [Laughter] [Applause] gist guid colist makes me think of my work in a hospital in Saudi Arabia oh which was qu quite an experience so I'm a consultant and I work on performance Improvement and part of that were one project we had was in Saudi Arabia in Jada we were doing Workforce optimization and we're going Department by department and uh it was called it's called ops and G Ops I cannot pronounce that and G Coles that was the second part of the word but even even doctors abbreviate that as obson because they cannot pronounce their the full thing and uh so imagine uh it's uh it was Al Ramadan month Ramadan month so it was like the most exciting experience you can imagine like just fully emerged into the new culture and in the hospital we were so we were really the the team of consultant from Europe sitting there in the hospital and all the ladies covered in with covered bodies in very beautiful dresses in the hospital and we had a tour there and and uh it was it was so awkward to be entering this off and guy in Department with our team of uh Western Consultants but okay was just yeah this part of job description you know but we tried to be like as you know as kind of drawing as little attention as possible then we went into into the you know and it's like first uh first maybe the closest I've been to give a birth to a child child in my life because we went into the household the W where this where the where the deliveries are made it was absolutely mind-blowing experience and they were at the end there's this uh um intensive care natal intensive care unit for small kids so and it was like in ER movie so it's like those boxes which look like split little space shuttles with uh small kids which were just born a little bit earlier uh over there with some you know like cords connected to them so it's like absolutely FAS fascinating experience and that was uh yeah just to spice it up it was a radant month so we were not allowed to eat during the day and that's what gynecologist makes me think Aaron uh you know uh this only my first residency but um do you feel like Gynecology in in Saudi Arabia is a little bit behind what we do in the west maybe I don't know it's but they can't even pronounce it that's weird I think is that it's just the name is too difficult I think it is a difficult name I get that yeah but don't you find it's it's strange JJ G something like that OG OG yeah excuse me um they sent me over to make a note this is a hospital and um there's a dress code here I'm supposed to be wearing beautiful dresses I mean I did my best I know I I do feel fabulous yeah like okay considering the OG field that we are working on like the pink works very well with the and then s listen I'm really sorry we've got a patient dying in there but they're not wearing a dress what going do uh that's a bind that's a double bind uh tricky tricky um I we can get some spares from the there he is have a look dress is terrible I'm sorry sir you cannot be here without a dress dress code here sir listen we're a hosle we're here to save lives but only if they make the bloody effort so listen I don't really know what to suggest do we um do we take it to the top yeah I think we're going to have to have a pretty serious review of this yeah okay um listen I was wondering if I get the day off on Frid I'm going to Paris fashion week it's a biggie it's a biggy can we s back yeah so did you did you hear about uh Jenice um so the the the nurse the Paris fashion week well she was going to go to Paris fashion week but then they asked her to get a scalpel stat which means fast um and she she tripped over her dress I love that like dead dead dad dead it is I don't want to even name her like yeah she thinks that she love she not like us not like us Defan she just a nurse I mean she's just a nurse that's why the most beautiful people yeah you know B come the [Laughter] OB hear me out okay spaceships for [Laughter] babies oh my God I know couple very wealthy successful people really see any time to process it any yeah so we at Nasa are very much interested in your concept we have been thinking of sending babies into space and I think we could work together oh great minds right two minds working as one half is [Laughter] perfect have you any other ideas because obviously you're an engineering genius sure sure well why don't you spip on me some things that NASA does and I'll tell you you know some out of the boxs you might consider we want to get ants and find out how they survive we need little helmets for for the helmets for ants sure sure I mean you didn't even need me for that one sounds like you got that figured out I'm a concept guy sort of a a black box guy and I need people to fill in the the the guts as it were and sir that's the Prototype of the and space suit fantastic that's amazing look they put little tanks on the back for just incredible I don't really like it what do you think I I think it's fantastic and I think well I think we should think about what other maybe constituencies we aren't you know you're not not serving here that you you might be able to reach yeah so if you can hear about the new about El M new company yeah they want to make like ants head head the other one yeah know that's a great idea actually it's like like the maybe the one business idea I like yeah no I mean babies to space Oh babies to space Oh What a fantastic idea no no what are you talking about you can repopulate the other planets that's no we need to need to take care of this Earth we cannot just leave it behind Okay okay right right oh my God I thought you were I thought you were a green pece by heart okay right what about like sing babies to the moon yeah no what Okay Okay no Okay no Okay um okay hear me out we build like um uh like a big platform platform in the ocean and we send baby there what what are you talking what honey you know I I I I I cannot stand the kids anymore you know really why don't send this one to the [Laughter] ocean so this is still quiet but you know the other two so why don't we send them somewhere dad Moon dad have you heard that they have this fantastic like company when they send babies to the oh no really that is so excising with my brother we were we were discussing things and I thought wow amazing company yeah Dad I want to go to [Laughter] space so uh what they send you in there for oh I don't really know I was just a baby been here since you were a baby yeah yeah yeah Mom and Dad were like do you want to go to space uh Lake and and I was like and I was like space Lake that sounds Mega and now I'm 37 years old still in sat yeah you know these mean legs are [ __ ] they're cold though yeah no fish as well try we always try new idea New Idea new idea lakes in space oh my [ __ ] god another after another are you MOS or something like might as well be I'm so happy I married you yeah yeah okay whoa whoa whoa what thought was well I just feel like I have all the ideas in the relationship that's all who came up with space babies okay we going there be going there it was my idea to marry you you're probably wondering why I'm just wandering [Laughter] around the slightest know where you're wandering around you're wandering around because you're out of ideas no no no no no you're stalling for time maybe a little bit it's working hey I have an idea go on no you're allowed to say your ideas no now I'm intimidating stand over there I'll tell you my idea I am intimidating I need time more more I need more time to think an idea the idea contest starts in one minute it down it down oh here's my idea when in doubt just wander elaborate Wonder quickly fastly well what I mean by that it's is well hi James he good to see you yeah yeah in
