remember our crack checklist okay that's going to be key memorized so our first C what is it um I don't remember clearing turns clearing turns so you can go ahead and grab a new scratch pad and then you can write the C AAC and we'll just fill out each one of those so the C is our clearing turns and then our R is reference and then our 2 a is our air speed and altitude and then our last C is configuration so with that being said our first C is our clearing turn so what we're going to do is we're going to do a 90° turn to the left left or right and then a 90° turn back into the direction we want to go or if you're in an area where you want to do a full 180° turn that constitutes as a clearing turn as well we've done our clearing turns that looks good now we're going to find a reference point to track okay so this is going to be like a combination of a heading as well as something outside and visual that we can use to track while we're in slow flight clearing turns reference air speed is going to fluctuate because we're in slowlight but our altitude is 3,500 okay so when we get into our maneuver we want to make sure that we stay at altitude right and then the last thing
