A bag contains 23 number of coins in the form of 1 rupee, 2 rupee and 5 rupee coins.
So total 23 coins are there. Denominations are 1 rupee, 2 rupee, 5 rupee. The total sum of the coins is 43 rupees. So the total value of the coins is 43 rupees.
The ratio between 1 rupee and 2 rupee coin is 3 to 2. Then the number of 1 rupee coins. You can do this in two ways. One, let's do by reverse trick. What did the question give? The ratio between 1 rupee and 2 rupee coins is 3 is to 2. I said let the common multiple be x.
So how many coins are there for 1 rupee? 3x. And how many coins are there for 2 rupee? 2x. Okay.
What did the question ask? Total number of 1 rupee coins. So if the reverse trick wise goes, I said let's take a option.
Let the answer be a option. So what is the total number of 3 rupee coins? For us, 3x.
And as per the reverse trick, Total number of 1 rupee coins I have assumed is 12 Now let's check whether the rest of the story is correct or not Let's check So how much is x from here? 4 Common multiple is found So total Can I say this? Total coins of 1 rupee are 12 Total coins of 2 rupee are 2x and x is 4 So 2 x 4 is 8 Is it clear?
Now Can you tell me how many coins of 5 rupee are there? Yes sir Total 23 coins 12 and 8, 20 coins So how many coins will be left for 5 rupees? 3 coins will be left Now, how is the answer to check this correct? How to write 6? 2 into 3 raised to 3.5 and this whole is equal to 2 raised to x. Let's solve. What happened from here?
