And students, in today's session, we are going to study Chapter No. 5, Conservation of Plants and Animals, Class 8th's Chapter Overview. Which topics we will cover in this chapter, how we will cover them, what we will do after that, and all the strategies we will talk about in today's video? So, first of all, let's see the topics to be covered, and which topics we are going to talk about.
First of all, Deforestation and its causes. Basically, what is deforestation? What are its causes? Why do we say that deforestation is the cause of death of animals and plants? So, we will study about all these things in Deforestation and its causes.
The process of cutting trees is the way we cut trees for our selfish use when we have to build buildings, make hospitals, roads, construction factories, etc. So we cut these trees on a large scale. So the process by which we are cutting trees on a large scale so that we can make something in place of it is called Deforestation.
What is De? Deforestation means cutting trees and destroying the forest. This process is called Deforestation. Now what are the causes of deforestation, why does it cause soil erosion, why does it affect the lives of all animals, and why plant species are getting extinct, animal species are getting extinct?
We will study all these things and their causes. After that, we will come to the consequences of deforestation. Now, not only do animals live in that forest, but we also face many losses due to deforestation. We will read about all those losses in the consequences of deforestation.
After that comes the conservation of forests and wildlife. Now there are a lot of cuttings of trees, the life of animals is lost, the life of plants is lost and a lot of damage has been done to the environment, humans, forest, soil, everything has been damaged. What can we do to fill that loss? We can save so that there is no more loss. We can take such steps so that there is no more negative impact on the atmosphere.
So we will read all this on consequences and conservation. Now what can we do to conserve the forest to save that thing? students come to the Biosphere Reserve, Sanctuary, and Wildlife Sanctuary all these are protection areas where we keep plants and animals safe which we call biological reserves so biosphere reserves kaha kaha hai ye kya kaam karte hai ye kaise save karte hai apne environment ko in sab cheez ke baare mein hum page biosphere reserve mein uske baad hum flora and fauna Jaane ki kya hota hai plants and animals ko how to save them and we will read about them in detail.
Then let's come to endemic species. Students, we call animals that are almost in danger endemic species. Animals that have already become extinct mean they have no proof now; they are not alive at all in this world.
We call extinct species animals or plants because they are no longer among us, have become extinct, and have no other generation.
But species that are going to be extinct, which are in danger, we call them endemic species. So, which plants and animals are endemic, which are almost on the virtue of extinction, but if we still keep them safe, and conserve them, we can save them from extinction. But they are high alert dangerous species.
We call such species endemic species. So we will see about endemic species. After that, we will go to the wildlife sanctuary. These are such places where we keep animals, plants, and forests safe.
So that they do not get extinct quickly and their species are with us. preserve rain in connexons a poche or a si jaga a than jaha baby job a animal extinct Lonavala a yao safe nahi an unco shift car que hum a juga pe su Rakshita rakh sakte hain so a see again ko hum wildlife sanctuaries kate hain ye kaha kaha hai aur ye kya kaam karti hain iske baare mein hum dekhenge phir national parks dekhenge jaha pe jo hum usually visit bhi karte hain where animals are saved, where they are, what are their motives, we will see all this. After that, Red Data Book Students is a book where it is told which animals are extinct, which are endemic, and which are the species that were in our midst a long time ago but now we cannot see them. Our previous generation had seen them but our next generation cannot see those species.
So this is a collection of all those species book which we call as Red Data Book. Then we will come to recycling of paper. Why do we say to save paper and use paper at least?
Paper comes from the eucalyptus plant. This is a tree of eucalyptus which we cut and make paper. So if we waste this paper more and more, then what will happen? Due to this, we will cut more and more eucalyptus. The more eucalyptus we cut, the more damage the forest will face.
And it can also happen that if we misuse paper a lot in the future, then it will be more dangerous. The eucalyptus plant will be finished forever. So we are told to recycle paper because if the paper is recycled, it means we are not cutting a new tree, we are using the same paper again and again.
How can we recycle? What are the experiments? We will see about all these things. But our motive is the same that save the trees.
Because if we do recycling of paper, it means we are saving the trees so that our wo pehde hai wo zyada samay tak humare beech rahe, Suraksha rahe. So, isi liye recycling of paper is important. Plastic ka kamsi kum use karein, kyunki wo soil mein degrade nahi hota aur soil ko kharab karta hai. Toh aise hi kahi measures ke baarein hum dekhenge. Uske baad last mein aate hum reforestation.
Students, jis process se hum pehde ko kaat rahe hain, wo hai deforestation. But aise hi process jis se hum pehde ko wapis se laga rahe hain, process called reforestation. This means we will sow more of the seeds of the trees so that the seeds get bigger at one time and we will take care of that process.
When trees are grown on a very large scale in a very large quantity in any area, that process is called reforestation. So the process of cutting trees is called deforestation and the process of re-planting trees is called reforestation. So we should support reforestation and we should be against deforestation. Is that clear? One by one and understand it well.
After that, we will come to NCRT solutions which plays a very important role in itself so that you get to know how to write the answers. So in NCRT solutions we will tell you the answers to every question so that you have all the material available that how to answer the question in the exam, what to write in which question, where you need a diagram, we will give you a diagram. chart is required there flow chart will be provided so basically you have a complete package which you can use to get good marks in the exam then we come to multiple choice questions when we have done proper chapter wise discussion we will solve multiple choice questions so that we know which is our weak part and we can revise it again and again so that we can do proper preparation so with multiple choice questions we will solve our knowledge and we will know that if you are stuck on any question that means that topic is weak so we will read that topic again and after reading that topic once again multiple choice questions will be solved so that no weak part is left on your topic and your overall chapter will be clear and strong then comes student most important questions because it is not necessary that only NCRT questions are important every chapter has many questions which are equally important and can be taken in exam so our own questions ke baare main baat karenge jo exam point of view se kaafi important hai aur aapko pata hona chahiye ki un questions ke answers kaise likhne hota hai kya kya points hai wo sabhi kuch aap tak pohchega most important questions mein jo ki khud make both the important role play cut a so students most important questions up her chapter key they can't easy you key as a key questions as you in CRT me nahi hell lakin what chapter may they think I present right there are up akshar only bull jatey parna revise Karna so most important question case sessions a aposara revision be who Jai Ga Saati Saati apko sorry important questions be pata chal jayenge philosophy am at a complete chapter revision page happy the whole chapter will reach you in one shot which you can see one day before the exam before the revision, before the unit test you can see it anytime so that your whole chapter will be revised in one go in one shot complete revision chapter session you will get all the questions, answers important highlights of the chapter everything will be provided so that you have a complete package and you can finish the whole chapter in one go so students this is the strategy with our chapter no.5 and if you have any doubt then you can ask in the comment section to gain such knowledgeable content you can follow magnet brains magnet brains provide e-notes and e-books you can click on the link given in the description box or you can visit magnet brains website page www.magnetbrains.com As soon as you visit magnet brains website whether it is tablet, computer or laptop you have to click on this option grab e-notes topic wise, class wise, subject wise everything will be available along with daily practice papers will also be available Hindi medium channel is also available on YouTube so if your family and friends are from Hindi medium then you tell them that magnet brains also provides free education to them CPSC board, Delhi board, Bihar board, UP board board MP board Rajat Khan board kiss outside magnet brains k or courses be provide cut their just a Vedic maths crash courses and spoken English and students manage brains Instagram YouTube whatsapp telegram Twitter's a major available a a purpose my brains cool like can I share can I subscribe can I or just a man Misha Katie stay tuned happy learning and have a nice day
