In this video I bought 10 convenience foods from the biggest Indian Supermarket in Singapore Cook in 8 minutes with hot water The Kadhi Chawal is ready Which is a yogurt and chickpea sauce mixed with rice It is savory and mostly tangy An instant rice meal with strong flavors Another instant meal that cooks in 8 minutes with hot water It is more expensive but you get more stuffs with it It is quite a kit Choley Chawal mixture This is a chickpea curry with rice Wow, amazing! It is so buttery and creamy 1 of the most tastiest instant food I have ever eaten Love the flavors of this! Even comes with a thoughtful napkin An Indian Chips kit that comes with dip Some preparation is needed Kadhi Chutney Hot water The chickpea and spices sauce is done The green chili pickles is ready to eat and no preparation is needed The snack kit has been assembled The chip is deep fried chickpea flour It was quite interesting to eat it with the green chili pickle which is very salty and spicy The Kadhi Chutney is also spiced but on the sweet side Altogether they make a delicious spiced combo! This is actually a Vegetarian meal It is Mock Mutton which is made of wheat gluten A microwave meal Half time stirring Vegetarian Briyani is ready The Briyani was buttery and delicious The Mock Mutton curry was on the sweet side The texture of it was like a sausage, soft and bouncy A close up of Mock Mutton Overall not real meat but it is still pretty tasty Can be cooked in boiling water, cooking pot or microwave I shall use cooking pot method since I did the other 2 before I must say the other 2 methods are less messy Should be ready now This is flavored rice is lighter than Biryani It is cooked in seasoned broth which absorps the flavors It is quite filling and comes with carrots, peas and long beans A meal that you defrost using a microwave Comes with 6 Bhalla which is deep fried lentil fritter And a combination of stuff to lay on them Following the instructions we defrost them using microwave Now to defrost the Dahi and Chutney Time to put them together by adding the Dahi which is yogurt The sweet Chutney And lastly the sprinkles of spices All ready to serve I think it look very much like Takoyaki! I have never come across this before and it be my first time trying it A soft bread like ball with tangy yogurt, sweet chutney and crunchy spicy sprinkles I am not sure how was this suppose to come out tasting but my ball was kinda soak with water I felt it needed a good squeeze before adding the sauces A ready to eat dessert Even come with a wooden spoon This is made with wheat milk, sugar and ghee It is soft and kinda sticky It actually tasted like fried nian gao to me, sweet oily and delicious! Needs microwave and pan frying You get bread rolls and a vegetable curry First we defrost the vegetable curry And another time to cook it Vegetable curry part is done Now time to defrost the buns And to give them a quick fry Butter shall be use to glaze them Buns are done! Meal is all ready One of the reasons I chose this meal cause it includes the bread rolls They look so cute We dip them in the vegetable curry which is really thick The bread roll is buttery and chewy, very tasty! The vegetable curry is tomatoey, slightly spicy and goes really well with the buns A delicious fun meal!
