looking at the c-sec english b paper 2 it is a 2 hours and 10 minutes exam so for paper tool let me get my pencil we have three sections sections a section b section c section a is our drama section what's going on here oh my lord is our drama section and under section e we have two questions one from shakespeare and question two from the modern drama for the section b we have poetry and we have two questions from our poetry section and that is questions three and four we're going to talk some more about that for section c that is our prose fiction and from section c we have the most questions on the people four questions two one for each of our novels that we're going to talk about some more and then two for our short stories now for each section you have to answer one question so you answer in total three questions on the people so one from here one from here one from here now all our all of your questions should be written using the essay format all answers should be pro um written in the spaces provided do not write in the margins of the paper and you are supposed to indicate if you use any extra pages so each question is marked out of 35 as seen right here but the marks are divided for 25 for content and 10 for the structure of the um response so your grammar your sentence structure your development so your writing and mechanics that's marked out of 10 no from a school standpoint you might know this as your grammar and organization same thing so for tempest shakespeare we have our one question we're going to come back and we're going to look at the breakdown the questions in a different video for this video i don't want to go too to in-depth um for question two t john and his brothers same 35 and notice you have the or meaning you choose one of the two and this simply put is section a the recommended time 40 minutes and remember you answer one question now looking at looking at section b it's labeled poetry once again you answer one question the recommended time is 40 minutes for question 3 it is the standard question where you are always given the two poems that you're going to use in your response and for question four you're given a kind of thematic question and you select the two poems from the prescribed list to answer your question and once again 30 marks and how could i forget the or so choose one final section on the quest the paper section c cross fiction once again you answer one question section c is the section where you have four options and you choose one so let's just look at your options for question five you have your tequila mockingbird then question six you have brett eyes memory or caribbean text once again we have our or you go down or then we have our two questions from the short story so for question seven that is the standard question where you're always given your two short stories that you use to answer to write your response or you select two short stories from from the prescribed list to answer the question and it is 35 marks for each and you choose one question to write your response in looking at our writing paper each section you are given a box in which you can brainstorm your response you can write your notes you can make your notations on how you intend to write your response this section as it states it will not be marked and then you are given question and you state the number for the question you're right in your response and remember that you write your response on the sheet and you do not write in the margin because the paper will be scanned and you don't want anything to be outside the area that is being scanned now as always i would have stated this before you are given extra spaces on the or rather within the booklet and you write your response if you need additional pages and on the last page you need to make a note to see i'm using mama c extra pages or make some notation so that the examiner can go and find the extra pages on the portal to mark your response no
