Jesus said in his prayer, he taught us and the disciples how to pray. He said, our father who is in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. And so we need to understand that this whole life perspective, the place where we live from, the place of citizenship for us is the kingdom of God.
It's the gospel of the kingdom. It's this message and mandate that he's given to you and I. And so we know when it comes to the gospel of the kingdom, Jesus said this, the kingdom is not yet, but yet it's here, it's now. It's the kingdom is at hand, which means that the kingdom is within reach. It's not up there in a nebulous form, it's not sensational, but it's a literal reality that's here that we get to operate from and manifest to see his kingdom come, his will be done in our life.
in our family, in our community, neighborhood, in our city, in the nations as it is in heaven. And so we need to ask ourselves again, what's in the kingdom? What is the kingdom? Well, the kingdom is ran and it's the place of rulership of the king. So wherever Jesus is, is the kingdom.
And so we know he lives within us and he lives on us. And so living within us allows us to have. intimacy and relationship with Him. We are part of the family of God. But then Him on us, the Holy Spirit on us, allows us to now demonstrate the very essence of our Father, the very essence of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.
And so the kingdom of God is here. The kingdom of God is within reach. And so we know that the kingdom must be declared. We need to continue to trumpet and be the voice of God. to be a voice of revival, voice of reformation, a voice of hope to those around us.
It's the good news. It's a euangelion. It's the gospel of Jesus and the kingdom. It's not just the name of a ministry. It's not just a local church, but yet through the local church, through the people, we established a kingdom of God on the earth.
Jesus told his disciples, go raise the dead, cast out demons, heal the sick. cleanse the lepers, that when you see these things, you know that the kingdom is at hand. And so we need to go and bring the kingdom, not just with our words, but we need to demonstrate the kingdom.
We need to let people see that Jesus is alive today as he was 2,000 years ago. We need to demonstrate the goodness of God to those around us, to the poor, the broken, to the marginalized, disenfranchised, to those who are desperately in need, those who are sick, those who are in bondage, that the kingdom is the justice of God expressed on the earth today. And it's a display of his love, of the Father's love. It's a spirit of adoption being released to people. It's people coming from a place of bondage into freedom.
You know, Jesus said about himself, he said, the spirit of God, God has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. to bind up the brokenhearted, to declare jubilee to those who are in bondage. You know, and so this is the manifest expression of the kingdom.
You know, in Romans 14, 17, the Apostle Paul talks about the kingdom. And he says that the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating or drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. So with our fellowship with the Holy Spirit, in the Holy Spirit, we find that the kingdom is broken up into three parts.
It's righteousness, it's peace, and joy. And so we could say the kingdom is made up of thirds. Again, righteousness, peace, and joy.
So we need to ask ourselves, everywhere we go, the place where God's given us influence, how do we bring people into a place of righteousness? Right relationship with God and right relationship with one another. It's a third of the kingdom. How do we bring peace to the place of influence?
You know, to peace with man. You know, it says that Jesus came to bring the joy and the good news that he's bringing peace to all mankind. He's bringing peace to humanity.
It's that shalom, nothing broken, nothing missing, nothing lacking, where everything is beneficial. And so how do we... as revivalists and reformers, the sons of God, bring peace to these areas. And then joy. We know that joy is supernatural.
It's not just something... An emotion, although it's part of it, but it's literally the fruit of the Spirit. And so how do we bring joy into this place?
How do we bring joy into places of darkness? When people are depressed, when people are feeling lonely, when they're feeling isolated, when life is nothing but trouble and suffering, when there's a lot of pain, how do we, as God's people, bring joy into those places? And obviously it's by the Holy Spirit. You know, when it comes to revival, when it comes to reformation, it's not about what we're able to do, but it's what we do with the Holy Spirit because those elements of the kingdom is found within the Holy Spirit.
All the auspices of the kingdom is found within Holy Spirit himself. So what we need to do to get back into this place of intimacy is key. We need to have the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Where revival and reformation doesn't come from activity, it doesn't come from strategy, it doesn't come from information, but it comes from a place of intimacy with God, it's relationship. And so we're here to demonstrate the gospel of the kingdom, it's faith and works.
And we know that faith without works is dead. It's words and deeds. When we come together, it's two legs. And so Ask the Holy Spirit with all the information that we received, all the learning of the kingdom that we went through, through this entire academy.
Ask him, how am I to bring the kingdom? What is the demonstration that you have given to me, the power and authority you've given to me for me to express the heart of God? Because everything needs to be motivated by love. And it's from that place. If you could capture the heart of love, you could capture the heart of God.
then He gives you the power and authority to demonstrate the love of the Father. And so ask the Holy Spirit these questions, because wisdom may not have all the solutions, but here's what I know, wisdom asks the right questions. And these are the right questions to ask when it comes to the kingdom.
