Advancements in Japanese Agriculture and Tech

Japan has a strong interest in rice. Rice plays a central role in food culture. Tome City in Miyagi Prefecture is one of Japan's major rice growing regions. For more than 20 years, it has been producing high-quality rice in an elaborated and environmentally friendly manner, using fewer agricultural chemicals. However, in recent years, the aging of the population and the shortage of labor have become issues. Now, the region is working to introduce drones to maintain the production. and reduced the amount of labor. I think it was a good idea to introduce this drone because it was the best way to use it at the best time. Kagoshima prefecture has long been one of Japan's leading tea producing areas. In recent years, however, domestic consumption of tea has stagnated, while overseas demand for high quality tea has increased. In order to meet this demand, local tea farms are using technology to improve the quality of their tea by making it safer and more reliable, without relying on agricultural chemicals. Originally, we started with the use of natural pesticides. We used the idea of the tea field to prevent insects from being found after a typhoon. Our president and father created a machine called Hurricane King, which can blow away the wild animals with wind and water. We use it to prevent the tea from being thrown away. The first step of the project was to create a machine that can blow away the wild animals. This area was a place for apple and grape growing. But due to the lack of old people and the lack of people, the farmland has become more and more abandoned. The vineyard was a way to utilize the farmland to revitalize this village, which was suffering from depopulation. Enologists trained in advanced wine countries have transformed the land into vineyards that produce high-quality wine, and are actively introducing technology and collecting data to improve cultivation methods, which helps to steadily establish a foothold for Japanese wine on the world stage. We have installed several weather detectors in the Takayama Village. First, we have to take into account the environment. We have to take into account the risk of diseases from the environment, temperature, and humidity. is also being understood in the algorithm. We have to keep the data for observation in order to continue to work as a wine producer. We are promoting the most popular brand of organic pesticides, organic chemical fertilizers, and environmental preservatives. We are a brand that can offer our products with confidence. We would like to offer our products to people from overseas. I hope that the products made in this area will be able to be made into a tea brand for the overseas market. I want to grow the Japanese wine that can be made with confidence.
