Hey everyone. I thought I might try and present to you the scope of how these neurons work in our brain. When you listen to lectures or look up online the meaning and the parts of this neuron that you see on the page, it doesn't leave you with an appreciation for how many neurons there are and how they can provide...

So assuming you've already read the book and you're looking at these Looking at these particular, you know what these at these these anatomical structures are I wanted to show you a pretty cool slideshow that showed up About a decade ago. And and so in the background you should see some purple or bluish cells and some yellow cells and There's a few other video, I'm sorry, slide shots that I want to show you, but to give you some background of this, a neuroscientist of some kind, a neurologist, maybe somebody who studies the brain, they were developing a computer program that would allow a person to target individual cells and to provide different color for the different cells. This is a very difficult thing to do because the size of the cells are incredible.
incredibly small. Usually you need to use a micron microscope, an electron microscope, excuse me, that allows you to see any image of these things. And so what this researcher did is he made a system to identify these cells. Well, in retrospect, when he was working on this, some of his colleagues had said the images are quite pretty. So they actually made a slideshow.
He made a book. book you can buy. I don't know where, but in any event, it's kind of a cool thing. So let me fast forward a bit and show you some of these other images.
