Blackboard Learn Guide

Introduction

  • Blackboard Learn is the online platform used by the University of Arkansas for course management and student engagement.

Login and Authentication

  • Username and Password are required to access the Blackboard system.
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Setup:
    1. Download an authenticator app (e.g., Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, or Authy).
    2. Use your phone to scan the QR code or enter the key provided by the system.
    3. Enter the 6-digit code from the authenticator app to complete the setup.
    4. Once set up, a login code will be required on unfamiliar devices.
  • Third-Party Login Options:
    • Login available via University of Arkansas and Global Campus Slate.

  • IT Help Desk Hours:
    • Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. to midnight
    • Saturday and Sunday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Blackboard Help Desk Hours:
    • Monday - Thursday: 7 a.m. to midnight
    • Friday: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Saturday: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    • Sunday: 11 a.m. to midnight
