There's a fifth one, the historical critical view that sees this as a political palemic against Rome, which means it's false prophecy. Oh my. Because it never happened. Pause. We have white smoke live stream right now. There's a pope. We need to go live. Can you pause this and we need to go live? What the Do you mind if we do this? I I mind if we don't. Are you kidding? Holy crap, Scott. What is happening? Keep the cameras going. Keep the cameras going. Can we go live? Holy God, this is wild. All right, we talked a lot. That was good. Oh my goodness gracious. Here we are. This is crazy. I had to read it like five times to know what he was talking about. I was looking at you looking at him. Yeah, I was confused. Boy, oh boy. Maybe the studio is on fire. Signed, signaled by white smoke riding from a chimney above the Systeine Chapel in Vatican City. We do not yet know who it is. We've had great popes. We've had horrible popes. So, whoever we have, we have a living embodiment of the fulfillment of God's promise. And at the same time, we've going to have a holy father. We pray for him. We recognize that he's a sinner. At the same time, we rejoice and give thanks that Matthew 16 is in everybody's Bible. the way, you know, the papacy of Francis was covered was unlike anything that went before it, which brought, I guess, good things and a lot of confusion, right? Nobody's going to know exactly what to think or how to respond. All we know is that we have a pope. We have a father figure. And you know, I'm tired of going dadless. You know, I lost my dad back in ' 91. And I and I've lost many father figures. So, it's nice to have a father figure, you know, for the family of God on earth. That's so much more than just pious rhetoric. There is a truth and a reality there that constitutes the mystery of faith. And that's what we cling to. We've had some horrific figures, but what we have behind the pope is the power of the Holy Spirit. We have Christ on this rock. I will build my church, you know. And so, we have to rekindle the fire of faith in order to really restore that sense of hope because I am not an optimistic person. I've told you this before. But at the same time, Christ, his death and resurrection, what we have celebrated year after year, you know, is more than a birthday. It's more than an anniversary. It really is the only source of hope this world has. Who do we have? He's American. No, people are saying he's American. Provost. Who's this Provost? It's Robert Francis Provost.
