Adding a Search Bar to Google Sites

Steps to Add a Search Bar

  1. Access Google Sites:

    • Navigate to your website on Google Sites.
  2. Embed Feature:

    • Click on Embed and select Embed Code option.
  3. Obtain the Code:

    • No need to edit the code except for one specific part.
  4. Customize the Code:

    • Locate the section of the code that says enter website URL here.
    • Replace this placeholder with your actual website URL.
    • To find your website URL, view your published site and copy the URL.
  5. Insert the Code:

    • Click Next and then Insert.

  6. Publish the Changes:
