people are flipping a $100 into tens of thousands of dollars in a span of minutes hours and days just by being in the right meme coin at the right time it's not about luck it's about understanding narratives catching momentum and knowing where the hype is building and right now that opportunity is happening every day on Salana with Salana meme coins my name is Bubs and from the beginning of March to May I turned $250 to $100,000 trading meme coins on Salana this video is supposed to be a breakdown of how I got here my background how I first got into memecoins my first couple trades what I've learned how I've adapted and how I've grown both my portfolio and my presence on crypto Twitter and real quick before I say anything else in this video I just wanted to preface that nothing in this video is financial advice this is for entertainment and educational purposes only and I'm only sharing what's worked for me so before diving into how I've adapted and how I've gotten to where I am now I want to start by going over a little bit of background about myself and how I first got into the Salana Memecoin trading space and how I first got introduced to it i started trading in November December of 2024 i made my Phantom wallet in November after seeing a bunch of Tik Toks come up on my for you page talking about I think Salana's price at this time was around like 260 280 and people were going crazy about chill guy winter arc rism I think in December and I had no idea what meme coins were besides dogecoin and she enu and stuff like that i had gotten in on the first uh Dogecoin pump I think in around 2021 or 2020 i can't remember exactly when it was but that was my first introduction to meme coins and I remember buying a little bit of it and just seeing the price skyrocket up and you know it gave off like a really euphoric feeling just like the price isn't going to stop going up and everything so that was my first introduction to meme coins i made my Phantom wallet in November after seeing all these Tik Toks um I saw people like TJR Trades posting about meme coins and stuff like that and you know I was curious i wanted to know a little bit more about what meme coins were i was seeing people posting their wallets going from like $10 to like $1,000 and I was like "What the hell?" Like how is this possible luckily one of the videos that I saw on Tik Tok was telling their viewers to you know don't trade on Phantom so I didn't end up trading on Phantom at first and they said to open a Photon wallet account and that's what I ended up doing i didn't trade anything crazy at first i you know I knew that the potential to lose money was there so I didn't jump into anything too hastily and stuff until I saw one of the creators that I recognized uh that I was seeing a lot posting about a lot of meme coins and stuff i saw him post about a coin i think it was called Chill Dear and um you know it's funny because I bought into this coin chill deer and I rode it I I think I bought into it like pre-bonding and it ended up bonding and you know it just kept going up and up and up and I didn't know anything about meme coins at the time i just saw the price going up and I just saw it would never stop i pulled out profits at some point and then I ended up reinvesting uh those profits which was which was you know silly of me to do uh but I didn't know better at the time i thought the coin would just keep going up and I thought this was how meme coins worked and everything so I played that coin i lost my profits i don't think I lost money but I did lose a majority of my profits i think I put in like6 soul or something like that and I think I came out with like 11 soul and then I reinvested it back into the coin and the coin ended up dying and I think that the dev ended up getting exposed for like having side wallets and selling and stuff like that while the project was pumping but you know it it held for a good amount of time i think it was lasted for like a few days and such and I was in the Discord community for that coin and everything and it's funny because I ended up uh meeting like a solid group of people there and um you know I some of these people I still keep in touch with now but yeah that was kind of my first crypto uh Salana memecoin experience you know from that point on I got to meet more people in through like Discords and stuff like that keeping in touch some of the people that I have kept in touch with you know I I still talk to you now but that was my first experience with memecoins before that to preface a little bit more about me before memecoins I was a broke college student with almost nothing in my bank account i'm unemployed and uh yeah I don't have a job so I think I'm in a pretty unique situation where I'm at right now because I am in school you know I don't work i'm unemployed but I do get financial aid from you know every semester from my school i do have I did have $2,000 in credit card debt on my credit card you know I didn't want to work i wanted to focus on school i was at home and I just wanted to figure out what ways can I make money at home without having to spend hours like outside the house i I did a lot of things i I worked freelance i did graphic design stuff i started my own Etsy page and sold stuff on there and you know I did everything from like filling out surveys to trying to do affiliate marketing and none of these things really worked out you know and I also had my fair share of like odd jobs like I worked at an Amazon warehouse i did Door Dash i did these things just to pay for school just to cover bills at home and you know just so I could make a livelihood and everything but yeah that was my life before memecoins after memecoins like up to this point now I'm still a broke college student i don't know if you could really define myself as broke now since I've been able to make my profits off of me coins but yeah I mean the where I stand right now is still the same i am still a college student i still am unemployed i am not my bank account isn't at zero per se but I do have more and I do have some stuff stacked in my cold wallet so once I got past like the Tik Tok meta and everything I got a little bit of confluence from Discord servers from different coins that I would join up in and I would join up in community coins where the Discord servers were specifically for the coin that I was in i would also be in memecoin servers so this was where I got my first start in terms of like community and what it took to learn in the memecoin space and everything and this is where I primarily got my alpha these were random other Discord users that were shilling random CAS and I didn't really have any other way to do research and this was the only way that I was getting info from these people that were making calls in these servers and you know sometimes they would do well sometimes they wouldn't i didn't start my journey on CTE i didn't make my account for crypto Twitter until I saw one of FOMO's Tik Toks pop up on my for you page and this was one of the first times that I got an educational Tik Tok about you know the right way to trade meme coins and you know what you should do and what to look out for what is alpha where you can get info from and stuff like that and I ended up following FOMO on Twitter from that point on and then that's kind of how I got my start um making an account on Twitter and you know I followed FOMO's alpha lists uh his goats lists his buy dips sell rips and high volume uh dust revival lists and everything so that's kind of where I got my first taste of alpha and um being on CT and you know getting my first taste of who to follow the right people to follow where I could research and get actual alpha from while I was on Discord and getting quote unquote alpha from these random servers and stuff like that like I was not very profitable at this time like I thought that I was getting good info i mean and most and sometimes they were it was good info but I just didn't know how to play my cards correctly sometimes I would buy and hold for way too long like I would hold for like a 3x and then just never sell and I think that was a big issue for me when I first started and I think it's still a big issue for me now is um just buying into things and holding and believing it but you know once I did get on to CT and I was following FOMO's lists and everything I think I got a decent start more than most people i feel like a lot of people when they get on to CT they don't really have direction and they kind of just follow everybody and luckily I had direction with Fomos lists and you know he provides good alpha good lists and he curates them himself and um you know luckily I wasn't being fed garbage but still I thought that like the way to go was to follow as many accounts as I could i thought you know the more information that I was getting from more people the better I'll be you know having eyes on the back of my head on anything that could potentially moon or anything that would be good and everything but once I got my foot in the door a little bit more I realized that you know quality over quantity i curated my following list to follow people that I actually see that provide value for my timeline people that are actually giving good information and people that are actually you know doing due diligence and not just trying to drop a CA on the timeline and quote unquote rug their followers or use their followers as act liquidity so once I was on CT I started to filter out the noise i stopped following everybody and started curating a timeline with an actual signal for myself most people think that more alpha equals more follows like no you need more clarity so as I followed more and more people on the timeline I saw what kind of value that it would bring to others and I tried to study a little bit you know why do people follow these accounts why does this account have so many followers like what are they posting that is making people want to you know know a little bit more about them or you know what what is what are they providing to other people and um you know I tried to study this and you know I I started bull posting plays that I was in on Twitter you know I was a small account everybody starts from zero and I did bold post you know sometimes people think like "Oh it doesn't matter." Like if I post anything like "What's the matter like I don't even have any followers." is like you know if you're early enough if you really believe in something and you're in a play that you really believe in it doesn't hurt to hashtag cash or you know post a CA on a post or a play that you're in and and if people look at the early posts for that play say you posted around like 10K and it goes up to like you know 120 130 people will see who called it early you can clout yourself up too you can be like you know I called this at 10K and I only have 20 followers you know like that will provide value to the timeline and you know people might be like hey like you know this guy doesn't have many followers he's he might be a a little small gem so and I think I kind of just started my following through that way i would say that's the biggest thing for people if you really want to grow your following on Twitter is to you know provide value to the timeline are you identify what you're good at like are you good at finding narratives early do you understand like Tik Tok a little bit more like sometimes people understand Tik Tok trends and stuff like that more than others you know so that could be a value you know sometimes also like if you're a good trader like if you understand technical analysis understand price action understand the Fibonacci whatever the [ __ ] that [ __ ] is cuz I don't I don't understand it but you know I I follow people for that but you know understand like what your strengths are and use that to your advantage and you know post that on X like people will look for that and if you're providing enough value to the timeline people will find you and they'll follow you if you're really providing uh actual value to the timeline and everything so that's a suggestion that I would give if you know people don't know how to you know people say how do I grow my following people want to know if you're an asset or not and people aren't going to follow your account if you're just you know posting random CAS also like if you're posting plays that you're in like provide a thesis like I remember like one of the first big bull posts that I had it was for a play called Doge Survivor it was this online game that this account called Elon Musk made and somebody ended up making a meme coin about it and the dev of the game actually ended up programming the CA into the game like hidden and just waited for people to notice and I found that out from another person that I followed and I also you know started bull posting the same thing and I provided like a simple like picture bull post simplify it so people can easily understand it that post got up to like 80 likes 40 retweets and I got attention from that there were a couple other people that got attention from that play as well all the people that were bull posting that play kind of came together and were like "Hey like we all called us early like we should make a group chat and stuff like that." And funnily enough that's how I got added to my first group chat quote unquote Cabal Play started by my homie Dom shout out to Guido Gamble he's one of the chillst homies in the space yeah so if you're providing value on the timeline like a a simple bold post like this and a lot of people will find it and it stuff like that is valuable cuz they'll see that and they'll be like "Okay I should buy into this because of this thesis and all these things and stuff like that." So once that happened I think things kind of just snowballed from there for me cuz after that I got added into my first you know Cabal chat and I got you know I was in contact with a lot of other you know Chads that were both posting that i met a lot of homies in there taio don't call me Taio was got added to that my homie Dom of course he's the one that started it you know a couple other homies Big Bag Holder Zeke Yogurt Soul Miami Minty i got connected to a lot of these homies through that group chat and I just want to say that getting into a group chat is not everything but I will say that it kind of catapulted me in a big way you know trading wise i wasn't always the best at scanning early CAS or scanning new pairs and everybody in this group kind of had their own skills like I said like you should identify your skills early and everybody in this group had different skills we had bag workers we had you know early like new pairs scanners we had people with big followings people that knew how to what it took to push a coin and you know everybody in this group came together and we kind of pushed a couple plays together and you know it's venturing in the trenches is a lot easier when you're doing it as a group or or when you're doing it with homies you know it's easier trenching with homies and friends rather than doing it all on your own so it's kind of a long ramble but that bull post kind of catapulted me into you know getting into my first cabal chat and everything and then not only that I got added to my first cabal chat that connected me with some people you know networking is really important in the space and um you know I was able to network with all the people in this group chat and then also another thing networking wise is I got connected to FOMO through joining on one of his nightly spaces and I requested to speak and I talked to him a little bit and we chitchated a little bit here and there he ended up following me i told him about my Telegram channel my first Telegram channel and he ended up you know joining that and then I think a couple nights later or I don't know how long it was later but you know I hopped back onto Spaces with FOMO you know he he put me on he really plugged me he shouted me out on the space a lot of you know he was saying you know I've been crushing it catching plays early i was sharing my P&Ls in um in my channel and stuff like that and you know that really meant a lot to me because FOMO is kind of the reason why I got on CT and it is pretty insane to think that you know someone that had such a huge following and somebody that I really looked up to was you know giving me a shout out and stuff like that so I also think that was like a huge turning point in terms of like how I grew my following cuz from that point on you know FOMO gave me a shout out you know I got a follower candle from that and I got um you know he he plugged my Telegram and uh I got a couple new subscribers from that and uh at the end of the day this was all I guess I want to tie this back into you know providing value on the timeline none of these things would have been possible if I you know wasn't providing info properly on the timeline if you know I was just doing a bunch of hoopla posting a bunch of [ __ ] that didn't you know that people didn't see as value then I wouldn't have made it or I wouldn't have been invited to my first group chat Kabal chat i wouldn't have been you know connected to FOMO cuz he wouldn't have seen the hard work that I was trying to put in and stuff like that so uh you know always think that there's no point to posting or stuff like that but you just got to work for it following and people that will follow you aren't going to come just for no reason like you got to do something for that so yeah that's kind of like my pathway and how I kind of grew my following on CT and it's kind of still the same thing that I'm still doing today you know still just trying to best provide value onto the timeline however I can and um that's pretty much what I have to say about uh building a following and stuff like that on CT and how I grew my account one of the first big plays that I really hit on when I had really low capital was Big Balls i can't remember exactly what it was i know it was like some Elon like Space X employee or something like that and like his nickname or whatever he was going by Big Balls and I remember seeing it like getting me'med or something like that pretty early on and I think I bought into it pretty early probably like the 100,000s or something like that i wish I could like recheck but I can't log in to my Bulocks but yeah I ended up buying into it with like $15 or so and I remember I bought it like um 2 days before it like really ran up i think I saw something i forget who posted it i think it was FOMO who posted it or something like that but I bought into it pretty early on and then I held on to it i was like you know potential is there you know it's like Elon related and stuff like that could probably get mentioned yeah so I held on to my $15 and at this time you know that was a lot of money for me to be keeping into the play i think my capital was probably no more than like $50 or so yeah I put $15 in and then held that [ __ ] down and then two days later I don't even remember what happened but I was out with my family and I I just happened to check my phone because I had you know the Discord that I was in was talking about it and I saw somebody talking about big balls and they were like you know big balls 30 million big balls 45 million and then I was like wait what the [ __ ] like I literally bought into that like super early so I went to go check and lo and behold my [ __ ] $15 turned into $600 i think I missed the peak a little bit but yeah I was like out with my parents and I was like "Holy fuck." Like I just made $600 just completely sold it off i was like "Wow." That was like the most like capital that I had ever had in my wallet like at once like ever and that was like one of my first ever big wins and I remember my telling my dad about it like "I have 16 $600." And then he was just like "Oh sell it." And I was like "Okay." Okay so I sold all of it and then there was like a little bit of me that was like I should have held a little bit like you know but it was a good thing that I sold off my entire bag cuz I don't think it ever like peaked or went back up to where I sold it at after that and stuff so but yeah that was like my really first like big win $15 turning into $600 is crazy like in any you know anywhere besides meme coins you know making $600 off of $15 is you know unheard of so I think that was honestly one of my biggest like percentage wins it was a 4,000% you know winner and I made 2.95 soul off of that i don't know exactly how much $15 was at that point probably like .005 or something like that but yeah it's great it's funny to look back at that because it was I had such low capital at that time and I think this win was kind of like a wakeup call for me cuz prior to this I was losing a lot of money and breaking even for the most part and stuff so this was my first big win and my mindset was like you know if I can do it with this little capital you know if I put $15 and I make $600 like imagine how much it will be if I was able to ape like $100 or like $200 in like that was a really big wakeup call for me that first big win I think kind of just drove me to keep going and there's money to be made in the space and that's when I really started to believe like you know you just have to be in the right play at the right time you know play your cards right and everything so that was one of my first big wins after big balls I had a few couple regular W's regular losses and stuff and you know in ORG 13 uh the group chat that I was added to you know we cooked up a few good plays in there as well you know why one of my first big wins in that group chat was um Stool Guy this duel guy was a David Portoi or Dave Portoi play about his Family Guy appearance and stuff and we ended up sending supply over to Dave's wallet and I got into that one pretty early i only put in $141 and um I ended up selling for 3.23K so that was you know after Big Balls that was one of my other big plays after that i think big balls is still one of the biggest percentage wins that I have at 4K still guys at about 2k% uh gain but not only that you know I also got KK Kanye which was you know it was good that I was in a group chat at that day because for that play it was like um you know Kanye was going to hop on DJ Academics interview wearing like a black KKK mask and interview ended up airing and he was wearing that mask and we got into that play early as well i think I got into that like sub 1510k or something like that i threw in $121 and came out with 2.8,000 so this this is why I say trenching on your own is not as good as trenching with a group of friends or your your homies and stuff because this is the benefits you know these are people that you know everybody has their own skill set they're able to scope trends out early they're able to scope out major events pretty early and stuff like that so this is some of my bigger plays and such but um I'll be able to go more in depth on these plays if you guys are interested like how early I got in what the process was how I sold and stuff like that so you know stay tuned for that uh there will be future videos that will go over things like that from me on this channel and such so you know not only has there been big wins in my trading journey but there's also been big losses um I can't remember any off of the top of my head right now i feel like you know everybody wants to forget the big losses and stuff but I will highlight some of my biggest round trips that I can remember in my journey is one of the earliest ones that I can remember was IMG which was the infinite money glitch which was a Ponzi play on Salana when Ponzi plays really popular and gaining traction and people thought it would start a new meta as people wanted to hold or we were looking for more plays to hold and stuff like that but I remember seeing IMG on the timeline and not believing that it was real until I bought into it and I was actually getting rewards every 5 minutes and I bought into that pretty early i think I bought into it before the first big pump i got my average was around like 3 million and I think it pumped to like 45 million and I just believed in the play so much i thought it was like super revolutionary for Salana i thought that it would you know get more holders more buyers and stuff like that and it did get more buyers and holders it pumped up to like 45 million and I thought it was going to go to 100 million and I was up a lot and I just ended up not taking initials or selling any profits because I just believed in it that much and um you know it peaked at 45 million i it dipped and I thought it would reach even higher and it ended up not reaching higher and um I just had a lot of hope in it and I rode that [ __ ] to zero so I ended up riding that all the way from 3 million and I think I ended up selling it below my entry because I thought I was just like done but surprisingly that play has held out uh pretty decently it didn't even dip below like 1 million or so and it's you know it's performing decently well right now but I think I was up like 700 800% whatever the math is on from 45 million to from 3 million but um that was one of my first round trips my first really big round trips that I can remember and another one that comes to mind is Grocoin uh which I was on spaces with Taio and FOMO for that and Taio called that out at like 400k and I think the top of that was like 30 million or so fomo was very bullish on it and you know he thought it would start up a new meta and everything and I was also very bullish on it because he was very bullish on it and I also believed in like what his thesis was and you know I I ended up you know just not selling any of that either i bought pretty early at 400K but small and then on a dip I ended up adding a couple more and it you know I I would have made a good amount of profit on Grocoin if I had sold majority of it at 30 million but I also ended up selling that one at a big loss so I roundt tripped like a good percentage win from that and um you know that was another one of my uh bigger round trips that I can remember but you know it sucks right after but I think like looking back at it it's all like a lesson learned and stuff like that there's nothing wrong with being too bullish on a play but it's sometimes you just got to take profit or you got to take your initials and um you know there's nothing wrong with that sometimes people can get too greedy sometimes I get too greedy now because you know I have the luxury of being able to roundtrip plays like I don't I'm I'm okay with you know not taking profits on some plays because I see the bigger a bigger vision for it but you know it it happens and you know this is just part of the mistakes that I've made and the round trips and uh it's all just lessons learned and um I plan to go over a little bit like a video about the mistakes that I made pretty early on and how I've learned from it and such so yeah those are uh some of my biggest round trip plays that could have been also easily some of my biggest plays some of my biggest earlier W's that I could have got on my own i think a big thing that kind of set me apart from a lot of other dgens in the space and I'm not saying that I'm better than anybody else but you know I think it's important to have goals in this space i think goals are very important and having goals whether it's you know I need to pay off my credit card debt or I want to provide for my family or I need to make rent this month and stuff like that having goals to shoot for is very important because it gives you direction and you know it it gives you something to strive for and it keeps you from gambling all your money away if you have a goal that you're looking towards it will discipline you it will make sure that you know you are trying to beat that goal or trying to try to meet that goal and you know if you don't have a goal then I suggest just making one if you have a smaller concise goal rather than just I want to make money it gives you something that is realistic that you can actually do say rent is 150 for the month or that's how much you need to pay off it gives you a clear-cut goal you know let's make 150 on this next play let's make 150 on the next couple plays and um you you know it keeps you grounded and I think without them you're just straight up gambling and um yeah I think that this is something that I've stuck to my entire trading journey i came into the space with the goal that I wanted to provide for myself and I wanted to be able to provide for the people around me i wanted to be able to give you know money to my family i wanted to pay off my credit card debt i wanted to pay for school so these goals definitely help me keep myself grounded in the space so yeah this video is pretty much supposed to be a little bit of like an origin story and a little bit of you know where I came from and how I started off in the space and how I've gotten to where I am now and I plan to go a little bit more in depth in future videos and content that I plan to upload on this channel other video ideas include how I find Alpha on CT how to use Axiom what are the benefits of Axiom and why you should use it as it's the best trading platform on the market how I've played individual coins or how I've played certain coins my biggest wins and you know why I bought into these things or what my thought process is how I grew my account from 0 to 2,000 followers so there's a lot of things that I have planned for this channel maybe even interviews i'll bring a couple of my homies on and you know interview them and see what their you know how their beginnings were and what their mindsets were when they first got in the space and how they are how they became you know what they are now and stuff so I hope that this video was a little bit inspiring for you and uh gave you a little bit of a background on who I am and you know what my goals are in this space i I just want to you know at the end of the day my goals for this channel is to just create content for the newcomers and also for the more experienced traders i wish that I had somewhere to turn to for educational content in trading meme coins when I first started out and I thought it would be a lot more helpful for you know beginners and newcomers to have something to watch and learn from and I feel like I'm in a position now where I can kind of give away some of my you know what I've learned and how far I've come and my longcomings and stuff like that so you know I have big plans for this mainly something for me to you know document the start of my journey on CT and the start of my trading journey in general to see what plays I'm buying into what mistakes I made what things can I learn from why did I buy into this play why did I sell this play so early my thesis on different plays and stuff like that just so that I could look back and you know learn from different things and understand why I bought things or why I sold this or if I sold for a W or if I sold for a loss and I think this also kept me a lot more disciplined because you know I had an audience i didn't ask for an audience but I had an audience of people that ended up following my Telegram channel and with that it's kind of like you know I don't want to let these people down if they're in my Telegram channel so unfortunately this trading journal got nuked as my first Telegram channel got banned for some reason but you know no worries because I'll be starting up my Telegram channel again soon with a new account and I plan to start the trading pond again at the time of this video I don't have it open yet but um hopefully by the time I have this uploaded it'll be ready so that you guys can all join and
