MS Word Basics

Introduction

Opening MS Word

  • Go to Start menu > All Programs > Search for "Word"
  • Click on "Word 2016" (example version used)
  • Recent documents will be displayed upon opening

Creating a New Document

Opening Existing Documents

  • Shortcut Alt + F4 can also be used to close
