Bane versus Kingpin. Two of the biggest and most powerful street level villains out there going at it. Two guys who can regularly overpower the likes of Batman or Daredevil or even Spider-Man. But what happens when they're going against each other? Let's get into it. Bane grew up in an awful prison in Santa Prrisca. Forced to live out his father's prison sentence. Every day was a struggle to survive. pardoning him and forcing him to perfect both his mind and body. One day though, well, he managed to escape from prison and went out to make a name for himself, Bane. He's famous for facing off against Batman and attempting to take over Gotham City, intent on breaking Batman physically and mentally. Bane is incredibly superhumanly strong just on his own. strong enough to kill grown men with just one punch or easily wreck members of the Bat family like it's nothing. But when he starts amping himself up with venom, well, his strength only grows. In fact, the top strength limit that he's ever been reported at in DC comics is that he can lift up to 15 tons. And even though that might be the most extreme upper limits of his strength, Bane is still more than capable of casually throwing around multi-tonon objects like it's nothing. And it's not just that. Bane is routinely able to oneshot some of the toughest members of Batman's Rogues gallery. He really is just that strong. He's one shot Killer Croc and has routinely been able to defeat Croc. He's one shot Manbat. He's even one-shot Clayface. And it's not just that the venom amps up Bane's strength. It also makes him a whole heck of a lot tougher, too. He just simply isn't bothered by most attacks. He's even fine after being in explosions or being electrocuted or fighting against fire on top of just punches and kicks from the likes of Batman and other members of the Bat family. One time, Batman even magically gained the powers of Superman, and Bane was still able to take punches and attacks from Batman. But Bane isn't just some big, strong, mindless brute, even if some media would have you believe otherwise. No, Bane is actually incredibly intelligent. He's actually one of the smartest villains that Batman has to fight against. And Bane is one of the few who's not just been able to actually outright beat Batman, but he's also one of the few who's able to discover that Batman was in fact Bruce Wayne. Bane is a skilled and formidable fighter. He's been able to pretty much dominate Killer Croc in a lot of their fights. He's beaten Batman, Nightwing, Red Hood, all quite a bit. No, really, he's beaten Batman actually quite a few times. And Bane has just rampaged through Batman's rogues gallery before and beat pretty much all of them, even including the likes of Solomon Grundy. Bane is incredibly strong, incredibly tough. He's just a force of nature out there on the battlefield. Wilson Fisk, otherwise known as the Kingpin, is the kingpin of all crime in New York City and stretching out to the whole world. He's a monster of a man, a true Goliath, but has no true powers other than just his willpower and sheer determination. Even still, Kingpin is constantly training himself to become stronger and stronger. Every inch of his body being pure muscle, and he's powerful enough to fight against the likes of Daredevil, Captain America, and Spider-Man. Kingpin is ridiculously strong, having the build of a sumo wrestler where it might look like fat, but really just all muscle. He's regularly been able to overpower people and casually choke the life out of them, break necks, or smash spines in the palm of his hand. He's done the same thing with most street level superheroes, too. like Kingpin has routinely been able to overpower Daredevil, Punisher, even super soldiers like Black Panther, Winter Soldier, or Captain America. It's even gone so far as Kingpin being able to routinely overpower Spider-Man. There is nothing that Peter can really do about it. This was definitely a lot more prevalent when Spider-Man was first starting out as a hero. Kingpin was overpowering him in pretty much every fight back then. And while Spider-Man has definitely gotten a lot stronger since then, really, so has Kingpin. He's bulked up as well. He's regularly operating in the multi-tonon range. He's one of the strongest street level villains that Marvel has, and Daredevil doesn't even believe that him and Spider-Man could take down Kingpin combined. He's just that strong. And obviously being that big and strong, well, Kingpin is ridiculously tough as well. He's able to take all sorts of explosions and remain standing. He's hardly even been phased by punches from Captain America or Daredevil. Max actually managed to hurt himself by trying to punch Fisk. And again, it's up to the point where Kingpin is able to shrug off attacks from Spider-Man. Even when Spider-Man is trying his best to put Kingpin down, Fisk still manages to remain standing. It's one of the toughest street level villains to actually knock out or put down. And despite really leaning into his size and durability, Kingpin is surprisingly fast. He's fast enough to dodge bullets. He's been able to tag or even blitz pretty much every street level hero in Marvel with even Captain America and Spider-Man noting that Kingpin is one of the fastest fighters they've ever fought. He's also a skilled and deadly fighter, a master martial artist who's developed his own unique style of fighting that lets him hold his own against Daredevil and Spider-Man. So, who wins? Well, let's break it down. Now, no doubt about it, from a physical standpoint, these two are pretty much equals. Maybe you want to give the slighted to Bane in that category because he's actually amped up on Venom and legitimately superhuman, but Kingpin is really no slouch. You can honestly say that even though he's still just considered human, there's no way that the guy isn't performing superhuman feats. I mean, he's strong enough to nearly take out super soldiers with just a bear hug. He's knocked out Daredevil or Moonnight with just one punch. He's even managed to fight against Spider-Man for hours on end and not go down. Not to mention all the legitimately multi-tonon feats that Fisk has pulled off throughout the years. He's more than a match for Bane. But even off Venom, while Bane is ridiculously strong, he's trained himself to peak physical condition and is second only to Batman himself in that area. And he's done some truly insane things. Things that would rival Kingpin at his best. But when Bane gets on Venom, well, he's amped up all the way to 15 to 20 tons. And pretty much everything that Kingpin's pulled off strengthwise, well, Bane's able to replicate pretty much all of it. So again, while you can argue Bane has the edge when it comes to strength, they very much are equals. After all, Kingpin has been able to dominate against a teenage Spider-Man who's probably in the 10 to 20 ton range at this age. Same really applies with durability, too. Bane's been able to take explosions at point blank. Bullets just bounce off of them. He's fallen off skyscrapers, getting hit by Batman with Kryptonian powers. All sorts of other attacks not gone down. But you can say the same thing with Kingpin. Explosions at point blank range. Spider-Man hitting him with everything he's got. Even a full-on charge from the Rhino not gone down. You can't even really argue that Bane holds that much of a speed advantage over Fisk. Cuz while Bane is fast relative to Batman and Nightwing, Kingpin is fast relative to Daredevil and Spider-Man. both are surprisingly quick with it, but the one area that you can argue Bane holds the advantage is fighting and skill. Now, Kingpin is surprisingly skilled and a good fighter. I mean, he's been able to hold his own and beat up against Daredevil, but he really relies on his overwhelming size and power to help him win the fights. skilled fighter, but not really all that skilled compared to Bane. See, Bane has regularly been able to fight against all members of the Bat family and just completely dominate them. He's taken down Batman several different times, easily dismantled Thugs and Talons, even casually defeated Flashoint Batman. And before you say, well, Kingpin's done all the same things. The difference is that Bane can do all of this off Venom as well. He's beaten Batman several times off Venom. He's beaten members of the Bat family and Azrael and done it all with pretty much skill alone. Bane is just a better fighter than King Finn. And even if he's fighting against his physical equal, well, Bane's shown that he can still dominate the fight. Like Bane has plowed his way through Batman's whole Rogues gallery, all of who were amped up on Venom at the time. And Bane just absolutely dominated. And the way that Venom works that doesn't just amp the Venom user to a certain point, but it's actually an amplifier and increases their strength by 10 or 20 times. So considering that people like Killer Croc and Clayface were amped up on Venom, well, they were considerably stronger than Bane at this moment. Bane still crushed them. It would be a great fight and Kingpin would really push Bane in a lot of ways, but ultimately I have Bane taking this one. Bane wins.
