In the book of Hector, so God said, look at the children of Israel. It was the sixth month. And God said, because I'm speaking to you now, He said, this month is going to be to you the beginning of the year. That means in the midst of the year, God said, what kickstarts a new season? It's not calendar, it's my word. Once I speak, it doesn't matter whether it's November, it can be the beginning of a new year. So that means the believer according to God is not subject to calendar months. So as opposed to calendar, God is a God of times and seasons. ceases. Your history is not just going to start in 2023. 2023 is just another latitude God is granting you so that it can extend to you the economy of the grace of God. So for the believer, 2023 doesn't exist in isolation. For you to optimize the year 2023, you must Abrahamize. So 2023 is not that year where you are having vision perpetually. I mean, you know, plans perpetually, paperwork perpetually, you must land it. 2 Corinthians 5.17, 1 Corinthians 15.45, Job 14, Ephesians 2 and 4, Colossians 2.8, and Matthew 11.11. Please, those are the scriptures I want to consider so that I can stay focused. The new man. Where is doctor? Please, can you continue to pray? God bless you. Wow. In this UK, now wow. The song we're singing, we cry out to the Father. Come on, lift up your hand and just wave your hands to the Lord. Thank you, Father. 2 Corinthians 5.17, let's start from there. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he heathens. a new creation. All things have passed away. The Bible does not say they will be passing away as the guy matches in Christ. They have passed. When you are reading the New Testament, mind the tenses. Because what religion does is to ask you again to deliver yourself from what passed already. Old things have passed away. And where's the new man? He said, behold, all things have become new. Look at the next verse. Now all things are of God who has reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. How many people believe they've been reconciled back to God? And the Bible did not say that that reconciliation happened for you. It happened through Jesus Christ. You see this 2 Corinthians 5.17 is the main issue under guarding all different kinds of funny expressions in the body of Christ. Because people don't believe. This guy give us 2 Corinthians 5.17. People don't believe 2 Corinthians 5.17. So there is a new man. Look. Let me talk a bit about the old man. Job 14.1. Just give me Job 14.1. That's the next scripture. Now, this is also very, very important. Man who is born of woman is of what? Okay, Tom, are you saying that? I'm full of what? Look, what redemption has done is this. Please, let me stay here because I really want us to get this. You see that scripture in Job 14.1 is still the story of so many people. Unfortunately, 2,000 years after Jesus did all he needed to do for us. He said, man, so there's man that is born of a woman. And by default, once that is your status, you're off a few days and there's no way you can get out of trouble. So what God did in Christ was that God himself knew there is no way you can improve the old man. You can't. Because this is the reality of the old man. Number one, he's born of woman. So that means he's part of what is called bloodline. So there's no way what affects his great-grandfather will not affect him because he's born a woman. And the Bible now says he's a few days. And that's why the fact that he's few is what? He's full of trouble. So he will keep on going from apostle to prophet. Because once this is your status, once this is your identity, that is what you have signed up for by default. There's nothing you can do about it. No preacher can help you. The best they can do is to put oil on you today, give you blood tomorrow, and do all kinds of things, and pass you from meeting to meeting. And at the end of the day, your condition is still the same because you cannot run away from the scripture. Once this is your identity. So the old man cannot be helped, he cannot be improved. Because what a lot of people are calling you bad today is the improved old man. You can't improve him. Even God himself knows. And that is why the moment... become born again. Listen to this. As we are coming to the altar, it's just that the day many of us gave our lives to Christ, the preacher did not really tell you what happened. Now let me tell you what happened. The moment you come to the altar to say, because what many of us say is that I gave my life to Christ. That is very wrong, and that is very ambitious. Because the unbeliever did not even have any life. You are dead. So how can you give your life to Jesus when you don't have a life? So the believer did not give his life to Christ. The believer received the life of Christ. Do you understand? You see the difference now? So you didn't give your life. What year did you give your life to Jesus? It's very wrong. And it's a very disturbing concept because you don't give your life to Jesus. You receive the life of Christ. You don't have any life to give to Jesus. You don't have it. And it's part of the message. Paul said, greet so-and-so-and-so. And he was writing a piece. So you greet as part of the expression of the new man. The old man weak, no. if I have just acted as if he didn't see you but a new man so in order for you to be delivered from here you receive the life of Christ Look at it again. Can everybody read it? Man, who is born of woman, is of, and what? And you can begin to read that whole of Job 14. It's so vivid. And you see that unfortunately, Dr. Ferrucci, unfortunately, that is still the story of so many people in the church. And the loud voices in the body of Christ today, most of them, it is this trouble they are trying to solve. Because certain doctrines, now listen, are for men generally. But those doctrines are not applicable to the new man. So if you identify as a man and somebody tells you I need to break transgenerational courses over you, they are correct. Because man, that is why God said I can't work with man. I'm going to create a new man. Because this one, for as long as he's born of a woman, by default, he's already conditioned to a life of hardship. And there's nothing anybody can do about it. And that's why the moment you receive the life of Christ and you say, I want to give my life to Christ, let's use that, you know, in quote, what God does is that he kills that old man. So the first thing that happens to you is that you die. Why is it that God is firstly interested in that man dying? Because God cannot improve him. So it's not 2023 version. There's nothing like that. God cannot work with this one because this one is already a bag of disappointment. is a bag of infirmity. There's nothing you can do about him. He's already on the losing side. So God now said, let's rewrite the story so that tomorrow now, one course will not say, I affected your great-grandfather. Because by the time that course is now coming, he can't find you in that bloodline again. Because the one that was part of that bloodline died. But the one that is now raised is a new man. So that means the new man doesn't have a past. See what God did for us in Christ Jesus? No past again. Because this is now a new man. He's now born again. Old things are passed away. And most of what people are grappling with as spiritual warfare in the church now, is still trying to solve the old things. But these are things that in Christ are passed away. And you know the other side that is not very bad is when people now oscillate between old man and new man. That today they are new men. You've seen people like that. And tomorrow, maybe a powerful preacher now comes to town. And he now starts touching on some things that look like mystery. Especially when that preacher is now saying, before I came for this meeting, I had an encounter with seven angels. And I just had chinchin with Apostle Paul. And so they didn't believe and neglect scriptural truth for experiences. 1 Corinthians 15, 45, we're moving in gradually. The old man, let's see some things about the old man. And so it is written, the first Adam became a living being. Look, it does not matter how much spiritual you try to become as the old man, the best you can. achieve is that scripture you'll just be a living soul a living being look at the last adam oh became what a life-giving spirit so so once you become a new man you are no longer the one receiving you are the one giving So that means I don't receive limitations from my biological family again. I'm now a life-giving spirit. Even if that family is cursed, I bring life. Because I'm no longer the receiving end. Once I identify as a new man, I get into the giving end. And look at this. The first Adam became a living being. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. Move on. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural. Afterward, the spiritual. Now, move on. The first man was of the earth. The old man. That's why I say you can't help him. Made of the dust. The second man is what? Are we looking at scripture? The second man is from where? So the second man is seated where? And where he's seated is what? He's far above what? So if you are far above them, why are you still fighting them? Because one of the things you see about, just like we looked at Isaiah 40, it says, speak comfortably to Jerusalem that our iniquity, spadron, and our warfare has ended. One of the things you see the enemy trying to do is drawing you into a fight that is not your fight. because of ignorance. And we take that as spiritual warfare because we want to fight everything. You see, that was why Jesus refused to fight Satan in the garden of temptation. Because some things, once you understand your identity, Imagine Jesus trying to turn stones to bread just to prove to Satan that I'm the son of God. You see, that's the kind of fight people are fighting today in the church. Jesus said, look, whether you doubt my identity as the son of God, it doesn't matter. I stay with the word. It is written. That is how the new man fight. That means even if the enemy wants to get into a fight with you by doubting your identity, know how to respond. You don't respond by getting into a fight with him. Because to get into a fight with the enemy is also to... To say to him that he was not defeated. He's already defeated. You don't fight a defeated foe. So what do you do when you are dealing with a defeated foe? You stand. I was sharing with Brother Eli Waller and his beloved wife the other day and and one of the things I said was that you see this time is very very important that even when Stephen was being stoned how did Jesus respond he stood because you would have thought that Jesus would say I'm Jesus don't stone Stephen he just stood because the way we fight in this kingdom is by standing you take a stand And the moment Jesus stood, Stephen knew victory was already there. And what was the victory? He proclaimed, he said, I see heaven opened. And I see the Son of Man standing at the right hand of the Father. And instead of getting offended, he said, Father, forgive them. And that was the day the salvation story of Apostle Paul started. Because he saw them stoning a man. And instead of the man cursing, like people do in the church today, he was blessing them. Imagine that was you and all you did was to look back and say all these people stoning me. It will never be well with you until your 10th generation. You are destroying 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, 3 Corinthians. You are destroying Galatians. We are destroying Ephesians. We are destroying all that. Because the one that is the chairman of the stoning committee now is the greatest apostle. He was Saul. And the witnesses laid their cloak at the feet of a young man by the name Saul. But today, he's the greatest apostle. How do you explain that? Hallelujah. The first man was of the arts. There's nothing you can do about it. It's heady. But the second man is the Lord from heaven. Now look at the next verse. As was the man of the dust, so are those who are of the dust. Unfortunately, a lot of people in the church are not still different from Adam. Because that's the image. As of the heavenly man, so are those who are heavenly. And look at what he now said. Oh, move on. As we have burned the image of the man of the dust, so there's nothing wrong with that. We all did. We shall also bear the image of the heavenly man. So, Ask your neighbor, he said, when am I going to make this switch? Because he's saying, he said, we've all. That means there was a time too. Paul was burning the image of the earthly man. And that image was what compelled him to start. start killing Christians, and he thought he was serving God. Because that image is very religious. He will be doing something. That is the same image that can make people in a local church like this to be gossiping and be attacking leadership. You know the way people do things, fight people, look at fellow sisters and say they are proud and be backbiting. When you see that manifestation, you are not bothered as a pastor. You just know it's an image. Once you bear the image of the earthly man, you come to a church, no matter what the pastor is saying, you don't believe. Because that image, even when God said don't eat, that image hurt. That's the image. Look, God himself knew. There is nothing that can be done to change this image. We cannot change. This image is already susceptible to defeat, to disobedience, and it cannot guarantee victory. God himself knew. It was just a question of time. Satan would show up and destroy this image. That was why God told Adam, he said, look, you can eat anything around here, but the tree of knowledge of good and evil, you must never eat it. Because the day you eat it, you are going to die. Now, let's stay there. Let's go back to the Gettys so you can understand that image. Now, look at what God said. That means God himself knew when he created Adam that Adam would not last. And God knew he did not have life. Did God complete that project before Adam expired? No. What did God say? Please, can I have a story? Please. I'm sweating. What did God say? God said, let us make man, right? Was that what God said? Genesis 1, 26. Please stay with me. Don't miss me here. This is very, very important. What did he say? Let us, let us do what? Was Adam ever made? So in order to make him, there will be three steps, right? The first of us be created, it will be formed, then it will be made. So it was created, right? And in Genesis 2, God formed him. But have you noticed that what God said was not let us create or let us form. What God said was that let us make. Was he ever made? As if God knew that this guy would have to depend on a source of life. Because he did not have life in himself. So God had to plant a tree of life. Now, this is how people miss God. Please, watch me here. Because it's the same thing that is happening. No, no, no, please, it's fine. I don't want a fun place, thank you. It's the same thing that is happening here. I don't want to use human beings. So let's say this is a three of life. And this is a three of knowledge of good and evil. Now, please, because I'm trying to show us the image of the earthly man, and to show the confusion in the church. Who planted both trees? No, come on, answer me as if you are sure. They said, I don't plant any of the trees. So how can God allow two trees to coexist, and one of them was potentially dangerous to man, and yet it was God? It is the same way also religion can coexist with the realities of the new man and God will allow both to coexist but he will tell you don't touch religion. If you are waiting for one day that God will uproot religion then you'll wait forever because the principle of the kingdom is that the wheat and the tears must grow together. From the way God instructed the man, you should know that that man was not spiritual. Because there was God saying, you don't have life. You have to depend on this tree as your source of life. Because unlike the second man, you don't have life within yourself. So there's an external source. So how did Adam live? That means, oh. What killed Adam was not what he ate. What killed Adam was that access was denied to the tree of life after he ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. So it was what he could not eat after what he ate that killed him. Because the moment he ate from that other plant of knowledge of good and evil, access into the plant of life was denied. So that means God is saying, look, Adam, the only way you see how old man can be helpless is that the old man, you cannot eat from religion and eat from life at the same time. The way spiritual things work is that once you just say it is the religious path you want to go, and that is your feeding system, what God does eternally is that the way of life blocks. But before it blocks, just like God did for Adam, he will give you access to both. And God will say, look, there can be a teaching that tells you you are a new man in Christ. You are not cursed. You are blessed. And at the same time, in the same body of Christ, there will also be a teaching that tells you because of where your great-grandfather did, you are under an ancestral curse. And God will say, I set before you life and death. Truth is life. so that means one of the things the old man doesn't have is the power of his choice And the day you start activating the power of your choice at the level of New Testament teaching, you will not listen to some of the things going on called teaching in the body. Because imagine, how can somebody tell me you want to redeem firstborn? What is the meaning of that? That firstborns by default are cursed. So we are doing a firstborn redemption service and you go there. Where is that in scripture? Was Jesus not a firstborn? God wants to identify with the old man. These are the kind of teachings that prosper. Redemption of the firstborn. And you now put that money to redeem your firstborn from what? Man that is born of a woman. It's of a few days and full of trouble. So it's from one trouble to another trouble. So today's redemption of firstborn. Tomorrow is the redemption of your wife. It's the redemption of your house, redemption of your car. You even delegate your car and cover it with the blood of Jesus. Blood of Jesus doesn't cover. The blood of Jesus cleanses. Except your car is a sinner. I start wasting the blood. Alright, how we there? Because there are still people on that my voice now, 10 years after becoming born again, somebody can still preach that gospel to you that you're under a curse and you believe it. You see, the sad thing is not what people preach. The sad thing is that you believe it. Because anybody can preach anything. I just showed you the tree of knowledge of good and evil and look at why did God say don't eat from that tree? Look at it. In some of those teachings that are good, but this is the problem with the tree of knowledge of good and evil is that you can't take the good and leave the evil. They are together. The good is containing the evil. The evil is containing the good. And that's why God is saying, By the reason of knowledge, you cannot get me. The only way you can get me is life. That means it's a change of status. That means if you are trying to logically deduct spiritual things, you will be defeated. So it takes... revelation. And that's why the same God has said, knowledge of good and evil. Say, but there's an alternative. The alternative, look, for example, what one of, oh my, you see the way life works is that as the Father has life in himself, so has he given to his son to have life in himself. What life does is that as you are reading scripture, as you are reading scripture, you begin to see what is called life. and it begins to connect with the life that is already inside. Because we're a new man. See, you are a dispenser of eternal life. Life is yours. You see, what God had to put there as a tree for Adam to partake, for you, it's no longer a tree, it's eternal life. You have the life of God. It's called Zoe. So as a result of that, you behave like God. You are God-kind. And let's read Colossians 2. Oh, help us, Lord. Colossians 2. Colossians 2, let's bring from verse number 8. Let anyone cheat to true philosophy and empty deceit according to the tradition of men. Did you see that? According to the basic principles of the world, but not according to Christ. What is the basic principle of the world? It's true. The basic principle of the world is that if your mother suffered delay before she began to give birth, there's a tendency for you to believe that also. It's the basic principle of the world. That's what happened to my mother. And that is how a lot of people... by default have invited cancer into themselves. Because they are like, my mother had cancer at 30. And by default at 30, now she's 29, she's already afraid that at 30 I'm going to have cancer too. And that's what the Bible says. Let no one cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit according to the tradition of men. Because if you are not careful, there's no difference between some ministries now and what you get from a native doctor. So it's this tradition of man. And the Bible says, according to the basic principles of the world, but not according to Christ. Move on. For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Move on. And you are complete in him. Do you believe that? Who is the head of all principality and power? Move on. in him you are also circumcised with circumcision made with our hand by putting up the body of sin of the flesh by circumcision of Christ move on bearing in him a baptism you are also raised through what? through him through the faith in the walkings of God we raise him from the dead please be moving on are you being dead in your trespasses and He has made our life together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses. Move on. Having done what? The adoration of what? Why do we? Because look, most teachings that don't support the new man, they're always based on requirement. That there's still something you need to do. requirement of you give back to a false bond, you have to redeem that false bond. How can you, I mean, requirement upon requirement upon requirement. The Bible says, having wiped out the handwriting of requirement, because these things are against us. Which was what? Contrary to us. And having taken out of the way, and what did it do? Having nailed it to the cross. Move on. I've been done with the game. Dr. Ferugia, how can he disarm them and we are still fighting them? So that means somebody must be lying. Because if you say you disarmed them and 2,000 years after, I still have to be fighting them. That means you didn't disarm them. Having disarmed principalities and power, he did what? Doing what? Move on. which are what? But what is the substance? Move on. Colossians 3.10 now. Quickly. One to go. Who is what? So why did God say don't eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil? Because that knowledge is not going to. So the Bible is not saying the new man is what? Renewed in knowledge. According to what? Move on. Dr. Feruke, that is the point. Where there is neither what? Read the entire verse. Oh, please, only very few people are reading. I need everybody to read. One to go read. I thought somebody would scream there. Because I don't think you understand what you just read now. Whether it's need or what. Because the reason why you identify with the old man is still because you feel you are Igbo or you are Yoruba or you are Wausau or you are Igbo. Because look, on Ijebus, Yoruba, Ondo, Abusa, whatever it is, there are actually curses on them. So what God now did for us in Revelations 5 is that he has redeemed us out of every tribe. But we keep on plugging ourselves into those tribes. And the moment you identify with those tribes, the negative things, John 14, 1, kicks off again. Man that is born of a woman is of a few days. Man that is born in Lagos is of a few days and full of trouble. Man that is a Nigerian is of a few days and full of trouble. But look at, he said there is neither what. Because you identify as a Greek, there's already a problem. And that's why in Christ, concern this new man, is that tribal sentiment removed. Because those things are disadvantages. So you are disadvantaged as long as you have seen yourself as a Yoruba woman. Because there is no Yoruba new creation. They are not compatible. That's why it's a new creation. Part of the old things that passed away is Yoruba. It's an old thing. It's ancient. You know, where those things are coming from, you don't even know. It's as ancient as your great, great, great. And that's why the Lord is saying, do not identify with that. You can't be a new man. You are Greek or you are Jew. Circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, skin-tanned, slave, not free. For Christ is all. Look at that. and you know give me revelations 5 again where it talks about he has redeemed us out of every tribe so there is no good tribe there's no bad tribe all tribes are bags of infamities you identify with any of them you take on An identity you don't like. Is that right? So that is why it is important for you to understand this. And that is why we said, look, Africans. Now listen to this. I said it last Sunday and I'm saying it again. Africans. And not the only tribe that worship idols. Corinthians did. Ephesians did. Why didn't you see Paul talking to Ephesians or Corinthians about the need to deliver them from the effect of idols? I mean, you only need to reinforce Corinthians 12. He said, concerning spiritual gifts, I do not want you to be ignorant. He said, you know that you are Gentiles. Carry their way unto this dumb idols. But do you not see Paul saying, since you Corinthians once were carried their way unto dumb idols, let me deliver you from the effect of those idols. idols. No. Because he's a new man. See, the ones who worship idols that had covenant and contract with those idols, that particular one died. So even when those idols are looking for him in Christ, they can't find him because the one that was connected to the idols died. Look at it. Let's read together. And they did what? Let's read it. One to go. You are worthy. And to open the seal. For you were slain. Out of what? So if any tribe is good, why will it need to redeem us out of them? Or keep on plugging ourselves into them? So if a prophet stands up now and he says, I'm going back to your father's house or your grandfather's house where a covenant was entered into and that covenant was that you will not prosper in the UK, you will believe. But meanwhile, Jesus is saying, I shed my blood so that you don't identify with that tribe again. Your tribe is now Christ. Matthew 11, 11. No, before Matthew 11, 11, 1 Corinthians 12, because I need to close now. 1 Corinthians 12. Consign spiritual, give bread, I do not want you to be ignorant. Move on. You know that you are Gentiles. Therefore, we know what? But there are still believers in church who believe the idols more than God. And yes, you have seen Paul saying it's nothing. There's only one God. That means in the congregation of God, they don't do democracy. It doesn't matter what the other gods are saying. There's only one God, and it is what he says that is important. And don't forget again, oh, what happened at the pool of Bethesda. The same God that gave them the pool also showed up. Now, Ferruccio, isn't it amazing that an angel will come down a certain season to stir the water, right? But Jesus is saying, don't be limited by this proof, because for the old man, this is the only way. It has to be done by done. That means there's no intervention we want to do for the old man that will be personal. It will have to go through an intermediary. one prophet on YouTube will be the one dictating his life. He does not have life in himself. So he cannot access God himself because he's limited. So it has to be one YouTube apostle who is directing his life. Well, That is the story of the water. Whoever jumps in first. But here was Jesus who now showed up in the same place. And he looked at the man. He said, this is how we work for the new man. It's not general. You don't need to keep. I'm coming to you. Do you want to be healed? And the man plucked back into old way. He said, you know, when the water is dead, I want to jump in. And there's no body. And before I jump in. And Jesus said, you have not expressed desire. That's not desire. You are talking the language of the old man. Because he's full of trouble. You are talking trouble. And Jesus said, okay, so now you know, and those who are going to come to church this Sunday will get it. He said, arise, take up your bed and go. The man arose, took up his bed. And you'll have told Jesus, he'll now say, all of you. You saw what happened to this man? All of you also take up your bed and go. No. new man is personal. He's not a class actual. He that comes to God must believe that he is. Because he's a new man, you must first of all understand who you are. And Dr. Ferreira now taught after Jesus left that place, the next thing Jesus would do would be to shut down the pool. He didn't. Understand the principles of God. He will never kill religion. He won't say, do any other person preaching any contrary gospel will go to hell. God says, look, I'm dealing with you. You make up your mind. Look, let those who still want to kill to join the river, join the river for you. Take up your bed and go. That means he was telling the man there is another way. There's a better way. Matthew 11, 11, as we close this morning. I surely I say unto you, please read it everybody. The best you will become is John the Baptist. That means a rod there will cut off your head. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm not getting what. Except it's Jesus that's not saying this. It's for the old. man that means the greatest manifestation of old man is John the Baptist as a Murray is so funny that in that manifestation you even doubt Jesus when they came to John they said is it sent his disciples a go and ask him tell him are you the one or should we expand imagine and Jesus said blesses the one will not be offended in that religion I will make you to be offended in the Messiah This is Matthew. If you read it in John, now that's an opposite of the gospel. Jesus said there's no prophet that is risen, that is greater than John. So as a man is the greatest, as a prophet is the greatest. That means if you continue to explore your possibility as an old man, the biggest thing you can become is John the Baptist. That means nobody can bypass John the Baptist as an old man. That is why witches always affect, because Herod is a witch. He just said, we're celebrating birthday, we're celebrating birthday. He said, dance very well, shake your body, let Herod be impressed. And she danced. very well. You see, witchcraft is a science. Because people think it's power. They don't have witches as mad. They don't have power. They have what is called wise. You know, that is why witchcraft is listed as one of the works of the flesh. said the works of the flesh are manifest. One of the things listed was what? Witchcraft. So if you see a witch, it is somebody who has mastered the work of the flesh. They are not spiritual. And Herodias is showing us, and he said, dance very well. I want to dance very well too. And Herod already vowed. He said, ah! Ask me for anything, I'll give you. Ah, he said, you know, even John, we can't attack him ourselves. We've tried to fly at night, we can't attack him. Now let's use strategy. He said, ask for the head of John the Baptist. He said, platter. And in front of everybody, the whole president was there, Bill Clinton was there. Donald Trump was there. Rishi Sunak was there. All of them were there. And I said, yes, this girl dance, ask for anything. And the girls just said, excuse me, sir. I want the head of John the Baptist. Smile right there. That is why, even for those of you who are carrying mantle of Deborah, mantle of this one, and you are invoking ancient mantle in modern times, listen. That guy had the mantle of Elijah, and yet, because if you go into any ancient mantle, and the mantle is not Christ, you also take on the weakness of that mantle. The original Elijah, he was also a woman, Jezebel, that chased him away. So when John the Baptist came in the spirit and power of Elijah, he just by default invoked a woman also to defeat him. He thought the mantle of Elijah was special until a woman also had to rise up. The same way Elijah fled. So if John knew how that mantle works, the moment they asked for his head, he should flee. Because that mantle to escape Jesus... you flee. You don't stay in prison. You do prison break. And just run. Look at that now. So the best we can be. But look at what Jesus now said. Oh, oh, look at that. Assuredly. One of those times, Jesus uses the word assuredly. Is it making sense? Assured. Let's read together. I say to you, among those born of women, who are full of few days and full of trouble, there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist, but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. So that means put John side by side a new man in Christ. You draft John. And that's why the Bible says, except a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Jesus said, the least in the kingdom, the least in the kingdom is already John's senior. The least. With all the John the Baptist, imagine Jesus is saying this is the height of old man. You can't go beyond John. This is the mark once you are prayed as an old man. But the one that just became born again in this service now is already greater. because he is in Christ. That means Christ has offered him some advantages. The same way Herod was beheaded, he cannot be beheaded, because he's greater. He's greater. Just like when Jesus also came, he looked at Solomon and said, you thought Solomon was wise? He said, greater than Solomon is he. Because here is the greater version that you see. Why do people like choosing death? Like the order of the first Adam. He chose death. That's why the fact that God said the day you eat it, is due to... die. So there are some teachings. One should touch them. He's dead. But you see, the reason why many people don't know that he's dead is that the ministration is glorious. Please give me that scripture. If the epistle of condemnation written and engraved in stone was glorious, how much more? The epistle of righteousness. For you to optimize the year 2023, you must Abrahamize. So 2023 is not that year where you are having vision perpetually. I mean, you know, plans perpetually, paperwork perpetually, you must land it.

2 Corinthians 5.17, 1 Corinthians 15.45, Job 14, Ephesians 2 and 4, Colossians 2.8, and Matthew 11.11. Please, those are the scriptures I want to consider so that I can stay focused. The new man. Where is doctor? Please, can you continue to pray?

Thank you, Father. 2 Corinthians 5.17, let's start from there. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he heathens. a new creation. All things have passed away.

The Bible does not say they will be passing away as the guy matches in Christ. They have passed. When you are reading the New Testament, mind the tenses. Because what religion does is to ask you again to deliver yourself from what passed already.

Old things have passed away. And where's the new man? He said, behold, all things have become new. Look at the next verse. Now all things are of God who has reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

How many people believe they've been reconciled back to God? And the Bible did not say that that reconciliation happened for you. It happened through Jesus Christ.

You see this 2 Corinthians 5.17 is the main issue under guarding all different kinds of funny expressions in the body of Christ. Because people don't believe. This guy give us 2 Corinthians 5.17. People don't believe 2 Corinthians 5.17. So there is a new man.

Look. Let me talk a bit about the old man. Job 14.1.

Just give me Job 14.1. That's the next scripture. Now, this is also very, very important.

Man who is born of woman is of what? Okay, Tom, are you saying that? I'm full of what? Look, what redemption has done is this. Please, let me stay here because I really want us to get this.

You see that scripture in Job 14.1 is still the story of so many people. Unfortunately, 2,000 years after Jesus did all he needed to do for us. He said, man, so there's man that is born of a woman. And by default, once that is your status, you're off a few days and there's no way you can get out of trouble. So what God did in Christ was that God himself knew there is no way you can improve the old man.

You can't. Because this is the reality of the old man. Number one, he's born of woman. So that means he's part of what is called bloodline.

So there's no way what affects his great-grandfather will not affect him because he's born a woman. And the Bible now says he's a few days. And that's why the fact that he's few is what?

He's full of trouble. So he will keep on going from apostle to prophet. Because once this is your status, once this is your identity, that is what you have signed up for by default.

There's nothing you can do about it. No preacher can help you. The best they can do is to put oil on you today, give you blood tomorrow, and do all kinds of things, and pass you from meeting to meeting.

And at the end of the day, your condition is still the same because you cannot run away from the scripture. Once this is your identity. So the old man cannot be helped, he cannot be improved. Because what a lot of people are calling you bad today is the improved old man. You can't improve him.

Even God himself knows. And that is why the moment... become born again.

Listen to this. As we are coming to the altar, it's just that the day many of us gave our lives to Christ, the preacher did not really tell you what happened. Now let me tell you what happened.

The moment you come to the altar to say, because what many of us say is that I gave my life to Christ. That is very wrong, and that is very ambitious. Because the unbeliever did not even have any life. You are dead. So how can you give your life to Jesus when you don't have a life?

So the believer did not give his life to Christ. The believer received the life of Christ. Do you understand?

You see the difference now? So you didn't give your life. What year did you give your life to Jesus? It's very wrong. And it's a very disturbing concept because you don't give your life to Jesus.

You receive the life of Christ. You don't have any life to give to Jesus. You don't have it.

All right? So you receive the life of Christ. So don't mind that.

I have much more capacity to appreciate people. And it's part of the message. Paul said, greet so-and-so-and-so.

And he was writing a piece. So you greet as part of the expression of the new man. The old man weak, no. if I have just acted as if he didn't see you but a new man so in order for you to be delivered from here you receive the life of Christ Look at it again.

Can everybody read it? Man, who is born of woman, is of, and what? And you can begin to read that whole of Job 14. It's so vivid. And you see that unfortunately, Dr. Ferrucci, unfortunately, that is still the story of so many people in the church.

And the loud voices in the body of Christ today, most of them, it is this trouble they are trying to solve. Because certain doctrines, now listen, are for men generally. But those doctrines are not applicable to the new man. So if you identify as a man and somebody tells you I need to break transgenerational courses over you, they are correct. Because man, that is why God said I can't work with man.

I'm going to create a new man. Because this one, for as long as he's born of a woman, by default, he's already conditioned to a life of hardship. And there's nothing anybody can do about it. And that's why the moment you receive the life of Christ and you say, I want to give my life to Christ, let's use that, you know, in quote, what God does is that he kills that old man.

So the first thing that happens to you is that you die. Why is it that God is firstly interested in that man dying? Because God cannot improve him.

So it's not 2023 version. There's nothing like that. God cannot work with this one because this one is already a bag of disappointment. is a bag of infirmity.

There's nothing you can do about him. He's already on the losing side. So God now said, let's rewrite the story so that tomorrow now, one course will not say, I affected your great-grandfather.

Because by the time that course is now coming, he can't find you in that bloodline again. Because the one that was part of that bloodline died. But the one that is now raised is a new man.

So that means the new man doesn't have a past. See what God did for us in Christ Jesus? No past again. Because this is now a new man.

He's now born again. Old things are passed away. And most of what people are grappling with as spiritual warfare in the church now, is still trying to solve the old things. But these are things that in Christ are passed away. And you know the other side that is not very bad is when people now oscillate between old man and new man.

That today they are new men. You've seen people like that. And tomorrow, maybe a powerful preacher now comes to town. And he now starts touching on some things that look like mystery. Especially when that preacher is now saying, before I came for this meeting, I had an encounter with seven angels.

And I just had chinchin with Apostle Paul. And so they didn't believe and neglect scriptural truth for experiences. 1 Corinthians 15, 45, we're moving in gradually.

The old man, let's see some things about the old man. And so it is written, the first Adam became a living being. Look, it does not matter how much spiritual you try to become as the old man, the best you can. achieve is that scripture you'll just be a living soul a living being look at the last adam oh became what a life-giving spirit so so once you become a new man you are no longer the one receiving you are the one giving So that means I don't receive limitations from my biological family again. I'm now a life-giving spirit.

Even if that family is cursed, I bring life. Because I'm no longer the receiving end. Once I identify as a new man, I get into the giving end. And look at this.

The first Adam became a living being. The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. Move on. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural.

Afterward, the spiritual. Now, move on. The first man was of the earth. The old man.

That's why I say you can't help him. Made of the dust. The second man is what? Are we looking at scripture? The second man is from where?

So the second man is seated where? And where he's seated is what? He's far above what?

So if you are far above them, why are you still fighting them? Because one of the things you see about, just like we looked at Isaiah 40, it says, speak comfortably to Jerusalem that our iniquity, spadron, and our warfare has ended. One of the things you see the enemy trying to do is drawing you into a fight that is not your fight. because of ignorance. And we take that as spiritual warfare because we want to fight everything.

You see, that was why Jesus refused to fight Satan in the garden of temptation. Because some things, once you understand your identity, Imagine Jesus trying to turn stones to bread just to prove to Satan that I'm the son of God. You see, that's the kind of fight people are fighting today in the church. Jesus said, look, whether you doubt my identity as the son of God, it doesn't matter.

I stay with the word. It is written. That is how the new man fight. That means even if the enemy wants to get into a fight with you by doubting your identity, know how to respond. You don't respond by getting into a fight with him.

Because to get into a fight with the enemy is also to... To say to him that he was not defeated. He's already defeated.

You don't fight a defeated foe. So what do you do when you are dealing with a defeated foe? You stand.

I was sharing with Brother Eli Waller and his beloved wife the other day and and one of the things I said was that you see this time is very very important that even when Stephen was being stoned how did Jesus respond he stood because you would have thought that Jesus would say I'm Jesus don't stone Stephen he just stood because the way we fight in this kingdom is by standing you take a stand And the moment Jesus stood, Stephen knew victory was already there. And what was the victory? He proclaimed, he said, I see heaven opened.

And I see the Son of Man standing at the right hand of the Father. And instead of getting offended, he said, Father, forgive them. And that was the day the salvation story of Apostle Paul started. Because he saw them stoning a man.

And instead of the man cursing, like people do in the church today, he was blessing them. Imagine that was you and all you did was to look back and say all these people stoning me. It will never be well with you until your 10th generation. You are destroying 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, 3 Corinthians. You are destroying Galatians.

We are destroying Ephesians. We are destroying all that. Because the one that is the chairman of the stoning committee now is the greatest apostle.

He was Saul. And the witnesses laid their cloak at the feet of a young man by the name Saul. But today, he's the greatest apostle.

How do you explain that? Hallelujah. The first man was of the arts.

There's nothing you can do about it. It's heady. But the second man is the Lord from heaven. Now look at the next verse. As was the man of the dust, so are those who are of the dust.

Unfortunately, a lot of people in the church are not still different from Adam. Because that's the image. As of the heavenly man, so are those who are heavenly. And look at what he now said. Oh, move on.

As we have burned the image of the man of the dust, so there's nothing wrong with that. We all did. We shall also bear the image of the heavenly man.

So, Ask your neighbor, he said, when am I going to make this switch? Because he's saying, he said, we've all. That means there was a time too. Paul was burning the image of the earthly man. And that image was what compelled him to start.

start killing Christians, and he thought he was serving God. Because that image is very religious. He will be doing something.

That is the same image that can make people in a local church like this to be gossiping and be attacking leadership. You know the way people do things, fight people, look at fellow sisters and say they are proud and be backbiting. When you see that manifestation, you are not bothered as a pastor.

You just know it's an image. Once you bear the image of the earthly man, you come to a church, no matter what the pastor is saying, you don't believe. Because that image, even when God said don't eat, that image hurt.

That's the image. Look, God himself knew. There is nothing that can be done to change this image. We cannot change.

This image is already susceptible to defeat, to disobedience, and it cannot guarantee victory. God himself knew. It was just a question of time. Satan would show up and destroy this image. That was why God told Adam, he said, look, you can eat anything around here, but the tree of knowledge of good and evil, you must never eat it.

Because the day you eat it, you are going to die. Now, let's stay there. Let's go back to the Gettys so you can understand that image.

Now, look at what God said. That means God himself knew when he created Adam that Adam would not last. And God knew he did not have life.

Did God complete that project before Adam expired? No. What did God say? Please, can I have a story?

Please. I'm sweating. What did God say?

God said, let us make man, right? Was that what God said? Genesis 1, 26. Please stay with me.

Don't miss me here. This is very, very important. What did he say? Let us, let us do what?

Was Adam ever made? So in order to make him, there will be three steps, right? The first of us be created, it will be formed, then it will be made.

So it was created, right? And in Genesis 2, God formed him. But have you noticed that what God said was not let us create or let us form.

What God said was that let us make. Was he ever made? As if God knew that this guy would have to depend on a source of life.

Because he did not have life in himself. So God had to plant a tree of life. Now, this is how people miss God.

Please, watch me here. Because it's the same thing that is happening. No, no, no, please, it's fine.

I don't want a fun place, thank you. It's the same thing that is happening here. I don't want to use human beings.

So let's say this is a three of life. And this is a three of knowledge of good and evil. Now, please, because I'm trying to show us the image of the earthly man, and to show the confusion in the church. Who planted both trees? No, come on, answer me as if you are sure.

They said, I don't plant any of the trees. So how can God allow two trees to coexist, and one of them was potentially dangerous to man, and yet it was God? It is the same way also religion can coexist with the realities of the new man and God will allow both to coexist but he will tell you don't touch religion.

If you are waiting for one day that God will uproot religion then you'll wait forever because the principle of the kingdom is that the wheat and the tears must grow together. From the way God instructed the man, you should know that that man was not spiritual. Because there was God saying, you don't have life.

You have to depend on this tree as your source of life. Because unlike the second man, you don't have life within yourself. So there's an external source.

So how did Adam live? That means, oh. What killed Adam was not what he ate.

What killed Adam was that access was denied to the tree of life after he ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. So it was what he could not eat after what he ate that killed him. Because the moment he ate from that other plant of knowledge of good and evil, access into the plant of life was denied.

So that means God is saying, look, Adam, the only way you see how old man can be helpless is that the old man, you cannot eat from religion and eat from life at the same time. The way spiritual things work is that once you just say it is the religious path you want to go, and that is your feeding system, what God does eternally is that the way of life blocks. But before it blocks, just like God did for Adam, he will give you access to both.

And God will say, look, there can be a teaching that tells you you are a new man in Christ. You are not cursed. You are blessed. And at the same time, in the same body of Christ, there will also be a teaching that tells you because of where your great-grandfather did, you are under an ancestral curse.

And God will say, I set before you life and death. Truth is life. so that means one of the things the old man doesn't have is the power of his choice And the day you start activating the power of your choice at the level of New Testament teaching, you will not listen to some of the things going on called teaching in the body.

Because imagine, how can somebody tell me you want to redeem firstborn? What is the meaning of that? That firstborns by default are cursed. So we are doing a firstborn redemption service and you go there. Where is that in scripture?

Was Jesus not a firstborn? God wants to identify with the old man. These are the kind of teachings that prosper.

Redemption of the firstborn. And you now put that money to redeem your firstborn from what? Man that is born of a woman. It's of a few days and full of trouble. So it's from one trouble to another trouble.

So today's redemption of firstborn. Tomorrow is the redemption of your wife. It's the redemption of your house, redemption of your car.

You even delegate your car and cover it with the blood of Jesus. Blood of Jesus doesn't cover. The blood of Jesus cleanses. Except your car is a sinner.

I start wasting the blood. Alright, how we there? Because there are still people on that my voice now, 10 years after becoming born again, somebody can still preach that gospel to you that you're under a curse and you believe it. You see, the sad thing is not what people preach.

The sad thing is that you believe it. Because anybody can preach anything. I just showed you the tree of knowledge of good and evil and look at why did God say don't eat from that tree? Look at it. In some of those teachings that are good, but this is the problem with the tree of knowledge of good and evil is that you can't take the good and leave the evil.

They are together. The good is containing the evil. The evil is containing the good. And that's why God is saying, By the reason of knowledge, you cannot get me.

The only way you can get me is life. That means it's a change of status. That means if you are trying to logically deduct spiritual things, you will be defeated.

So it takes... revelation. And that's why the same God has said, knowledge of good and evil.

Say, but there's an alternative. The alternative, look, for example, what one of, oh my, you see the way life works is that as the Father has life in himself, so has he given to his son to have life in himself. What life does is that as you are reading scripture, as you are reading scripture, you begin to see what is called life.

and it begins to connect with the life that is already inside. Because we're a new man. See, you are a dispenser of eternal life. Life is yours.

You see, what God had to put there as a tree for Adam to partake, for you, it's no longer a tree, it's eternal life. You have the life of God. It's called Zoe. So as a result of that, you behave like God.

You are God-kind. And let's read Colossians 2. Oh, help us, Lord. Colossians 2. Colossians 2, let's bring from verse number 8. Let anyone cheat to true philosophy and empty deceit according to the tradition of men.

Did you see that? According to the basic principles of the world, but not according to Christ. What is the basic principle of the world?

It's true. The basic principle of the world is that if your mother suffered delay before she began to give birth, there's a tendency for you to believe that also. It's the basic principle of the world.

That's what happened to my mother. And that is how a lot of people... by default have invited cancer into themselves. Because they are like, my mother had cancer at 30. And by default at 30, now she's 29, she's already afraid that at 30 I'm going to have cancer too.

And that's what the Bible says. Let no one cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit according to the tradition of men. Because if you are not careful, there's no difference between some ministries now and what you get from a native doctor. So it's this tradition of man. And the Bible says, according to the basic principles of the world, but not according to Christ.

Move on. For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Move on.

And you are complete in him. Do you believe that? Who is the head of all principality and power?

Move on. in him you are also circumcised with circumcision made with our hand by putting up the body of sin of the flesh by circumcision of Christ move on bearing in him a baptism you are also raised through what? through him through the faith in the walkings of God we raise him from the dead please be moving on are you being dead in your trespasses and He has made our life together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses.

Move on. Having done what? The adoration of what?

Why do we? Because look, most teachings that don't support the new man, they're always based on requirement. That there's still something you need to do.

requirement of you give back to a false bond, you have to redeem that false bond. How can you, I mean, requirement upon requirement upon requirement. The Bible says, having wiped out the handwriting of requirement, because these things are against us.

Which was what? Contrary to us. And having taken out of the way, and what did it do? Having nailed it to the cross. Move on.

I've been done with the game. Dr. Ferugia, how can he disarm them and we are still fighting them? So that means somebody must be lying.

Because if you say you disarmed them and 2,000 years after, I still have to be fighting them. That means you didn't disarm them. Having disarmed principalities and power, he did what? Doing what? Move on.

which are what? But what is the substance? Move on.

Colossians 3.10 now. Quickly. One to go. Who is what?

So why did God say don't eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil? Because that knowledge is not going to. So the Bible is not saying the new man is what?

Renewed in knowledge. According to what? Move on.

And the moment you identify with those tribes, the negative things, John 14, 1, kicks off again. Man that is born of a woman is of a few days. Man that is born in Lagos is of a few days and full of trouble.

Man that is a Nigerian is of a few days and full of trouble. But look at, he said there is neither what. Because you identify as a Greek, there's already a problem. And that's why in Christ, concern this new man, is that tribal sentiment removed. Because those things are disadvantages.

So you are disadvantaged as long as you have seen yourself as a Yoruba woman. Because there is no Yoruba new creation. They are not compatible.

That's why it's a new creation. Part of the old things that passed away is Yoruba. It's an old thing. It's ancient.

You know, where those things are coming from, you don't even know. It's as ancient as your great, great, great. And that's why the Lord is saying, do not identify with that.

You can't be a new man. You are Greek or you are Jew. Circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, skin-tanned, slave, not free. For Christ is all. Look at that.

and you know give me revelations 5 again where it talks about he has redeemed us out of every tribe so there is no good tribe there's no bad tribe all tribes are bags of infamities you identify with any of them you take on An identity you don't like. Is that right? So that is why it is important for you to understand this.

And that is why we said, look, Africans. Now listen to this. I said it last Sunday and I'm saying it again. Africans. And not the only tribe that worship idols.

Corinthians did. Ephesians did. Why didn't you see Paul talking to Ephesians or Corinthians about the need to deliver them from the effect of idols? I mean, you only need to reinforce Corinthians 12. He said, concerning spiritual gifts, I do not want you to be ignorant.

He said, you know that you are Gentiles. Carry their way unto this dumb idols. But do you not see Paul saying, since you Corinthians once were carried their way unto dumb idols, let me deliver you from the effect of those idols. idols.

No. Because he's a new man. See, the ones who worship idols that had covenant and contract with those idols, that particular one died.

So even when those idols are looking for him in Christ, they can't find him because the one that was connected to the idols died. Look at it. Let's read together.

And they did what? Let's read it. One to go. You are worthy.

And to open the seal. For you were slain. Out of what?

So if any tribe is good, why will it need to redeem us out of them? Or keep on plugging ourselves into them? So if a prophet stands up now and he says, I'm going back to your father's house or your grandfather's house where a covenant was entered into and that covenant was that you will not prosper in the UK, you will believe.

But meanwhile, Jesus is saying, I shed my blood so that you don't identify with that tribe again. Your tribe is now Christ. Matthew 11, 11. No, before Matthew 11, 11, 1 Corinthians 12, because I need to close now.

1 Corinthians 12. Consign spiritual, give bread, I do not want you to be ignorant. Move on. You know that you are Gentiles.

There's only one God. That means in the congregation of God, they don't do democracy. It doesn't matter what the other gods are saying. There's only one God, and it is what he says that is important. And don't forget again, oh, what happened at the pool of Bethesda.

The same God that gave them the pool also showed up. Now, Ferruccio, isn't it amazing that an angel will come down a certain season to stir the water, right? But Jesus is saying, don't be limited by this proof, because for the old man, this is the only way.

So he cannot access God himself because he's limited. So it has to be one YouTube apostle who is directing his life. Well, That is the story of the water.

You don't need to keep. I'm coming to you. Do you want to be healed?

And the man plucked back into old way. He said, you know, when the water is dead, I want to jump in. And there's no body.

And before I jump in. And Jesus said, you have not expressed desire. That's not desire.

You are talking the language of the old man. Because he's full of trouble. You are talking trouble.

And Jesus said, okay, so now you know, and those who are going to come to church this Sunday will get it. He said, arise, take up your bed and go. The man arose, took up his bed.

And you'll have told Jesus, he'll now say, all of you. You saw what happened to this man? All of you also take up your bed and go.

No. new man is personal. He's not a class actual. He that comes to God must believe that he is. Because he's a new man, you must first of all understand who you are.

Let's read together. I say to you, among those born of women, who are full of few days and full of trouble, there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist, but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. So that means put John side by side a new man in Christ.

You draft John. And that's why the Bible says, except a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Jesus said, the least in the kingdom, the least in the kingdom is already John's senior. The least.

With all the John the Baptist, imagine Jesus is saying this is the height of old man. You can't go beyond John. This is the mark once you are prayed as an old man.

But the one that just became born again in this service now is already greater. because he is in Christ. That means Christ has offered him some advantages.

The same way Herod was beheaded, he cannot be beheaded, because he's greater. He's greater. Just like when Jesus also came, he looked at Solomon and said, you thought Solomon was wise?

He said, greater than Solomon is he. Because here is the greater version that you see. Father, thank you for your word.

That ministry of death can be glorious. And yet, all that is coming is death. And yet, it's glorious. Because you see big stage, crowd, miracles happening, things happening.

And yet, it's ministry of death. Let's give to the Lord this morning as we close the meeting. Please, can you give us the account on the screen? One of the things you put on as a new man is that it's giving. You see, the new man is a giver.
