Overview
The session focused on gathering feedback and ideas for a self-published witchcraft ingredient and correlation book, with a collaborative discussion about included materials, organization, and additional suggestions from participants. Practical health experiences and some product recommendations were also discussed.
Book Content and Structure
- The book is an ingredient reference for physical witchcraft, not a botany, spell, or gardening guide.
- Ingredients include herbs, common weeds, trees, moss, lichen, algae, fruits, vegetables, waters, metals, rocks, bodily fluids, animal parts, shells, bones, oils, and some man-made materials.
- The book is organized in three ways: alphabetically, by type (plant, animal, etc.), and by common magical correlation (e.g., love, health).
- Warnings are included about toxicity, biohazards, allergies, and user responsibility for research.
- At the end of each alphabet letter section, there are blank lines for user additions.
- The introduction explains physical witchcraft and the book’s intent, followed by application examples (bottles, baths, sprays, color magic, etc.).
- Alternate names and cross-references are included for ingredients.
- No planetary, zodiac, or numerology correspondences will be included.
- Man-made items and processed foods are selectively covered, prioritizing naturally derived ingredients.
Community Input and Additions
- Participants suggested new ingredients (e.g., placenta, animal homes, gasoline, sweat, warts, mortuary water, animal embryos, petrified wood, animal fats, ashes).
- New sections will denote user-suggested ingredients with asterisks.
- Suggestions for additional correlations (e.g., candle color, moon phases) will be considered.
- There will be a section or guideline on finding correlations for unlisted plants.
- The book aims to be a comprehensive, practical reference with flexibility for personalized notes.
Publishing Details
- Self-published via Amazon KDP, with no pre-order option.
- Targeting publication before Christmas.
- Title and cover design undecided, but the cover will be plain and understated.
Product and App Collaboration
- Discussion about integrating book content into a collaborative app (Witch Talk), with a potential contract for content sharing and promotion.
Personal Experiences and Health Advice
- Shared experiences with medical issues (e.g., tropicalis infection, use of gymna and colloidal silver).
- Emphasis on avoiding harsh antifungals that can harm beneficial protozoa.
- Advice to do personal research on medicinal and magical uses of ingredients.
Recommendations / Advice
- Always verify the identity and safety of any ingredient before use.
- Use a comprehensive wildlife or botany reference for plant identification rather than relying solely on the ingredient book.
- Perform personal research for health-related uses and consult professionals for medical advice where appropriate.
