Key Points on the Scaffa
1. Master Shoulder Point
Location:
Lower/inferior part of the Scaffa.
Indications:
Shoulder pain, tenderness, strain, swelling.
2. Shoulder Point
Location:
Peripheral to the crus of the helix.
Indications:
Similar to master shoulder; pain, tenderness, strain, swelling, frozen shoulder.
Diagnosis Tips:
If arm movement issues, check associated lung, large intestine, and small intestine points.
3. Arm Point
Location:
Middle part of the Scaffa.
Indications:
Pain, muscle spasm in the arm.
4. Elbow Point
Location:
Above the arm point, peripheral to the inferior crus of the helix.
Indications:
Elbow pain, injury, blood stagnation, tennis elbow.
5. Forearm Point
Location:
Superior part of the Scaffa.
Indications:
Forearm pain, muscle spasm.
6. Insomnia Point
Location:
Above the forearm point.
Indications:
Insomnia, nervousness, depression.
7. Wrist Point
Location:
Parallel to Darwin's tubercle, above insomnia point.
Indications:
Wrist pain, swelling, carpal tunnel syndrome.
8. Hands and Fingers Point
Location:
Uppermost part of the Scaffa.
Indications:
Pain, swelling in hands, peripheral neuralgia.
Chinese Points Comparison
Wrist Point (26):
Opposite Darwin's tubercle; treats wrist issues.
Finger Point (27):
Uppermost Scaffa; for finger spasms, swelling, arthritis.
Allergy Point (28):
Between wrist and finger points; treats allergies.
Shoulder Point (29):
Level with the crus of the helix; treats shoulder issues.
Elbow Point (30):
Between wrist and shoulder points; treats golf elbow.
Clavicle Point (31):
Level with anti-tragus; treats clavicle issues.
Shoulder Joint (32):
Midway between shoulder and clavicle points; treats joint-specific issues.
