Tips for Ranking Up in Fortnite

most fortnite players would only wish to see this after a ranked game today I'll be going through the best tips to help you rank up fast and reach unreal in fortnite now before we begin I noticed less than 4% of you guys watching this video right now are subscribed so please consider subscribing to help me out I've also got some other tip based videos around controller and pro settings if you want to check them out after watching this video with that all being said let's jump into the first tip to help you reach unreal now the first tip that I definitely recommend is finding good teammates now unless you want to play solo you'll definitely want to have some good teammates on your team to help you out this doesn't have to mean someone who's an absolute demon at the game clipping every single person that they come across I just me someone who won't weigh down the team and someone that you work and play well with that also has very good communication skills and a pretty good game sense so you're not losing every single game you play if you're struggling to find someone with these qualities it's even worth just loading into some public creative Maps versing different players and asking if you want to play some rank play a few games and you never know some random guy that you found in the pit freefor all might end up being your lifelong ranked Duo so definitely try and find a good teammate Trio or even Squad to play ranked solos can be pretty scary for a lot of people including myself so having another teammate or a full team that is similar skill level to you or even better that has a good game sense will definitely help you rank up super fast tip two is practice Landing this is such an underrated thing that most players don't even focus on you want to be practicing priority izing your drops to land at a location chest weapon or wherever or whatever you're landing at first being the first player to land at the location gives you a significant advantage against all other players in the lobby who are landing with you you might be able to find some heals good weapons or even eliminating an opponent out of the sky to get some easy early game points to help you rank up only recently I've been practicing getting to the spot first by prioritizing practicing my drop and it's a master when playing ranked there are so many ways to learn how to drop properly you can find drop maps on websites like fortnite.gg to figure out the best way to drop at every single spot on the map or you can even just watch some pros play see where they land and see how they land to get a huge advantage over their opponents this leads us on to tip three while we're on the topic of Landing having a good drop spot is great but what use is it if you're landing at a terrible location with just one chest you want to be studying the map and learning the best place to land that will supply loot for yourself and your team if you're playing with one you also want to make sure that this location has other spots that you can easily rotate to to either get more loot or to even allow you to easily escape a fight if you're contested and need to leave a great spot that not many players know about is right here on the West side of the island you've got three buildings to set a loot path to lots of slurp barrels to give you health and shield some fishing spots and a launch pad to rotate away if you need so finding a good landing spot alongside a good Landing will for sure help you to rank up and reach the final goal of unreal once again a good drop spot is super important be you want to make sure you know exactly where each of the loot spawns are wherever you're learning there are a few great ways to learn where loot spawns at your location and the first way I suggest is literally just jumping into a custom matchmaking game with no other players and running around the location where you drop to find where all of the loot spawns and memorize it obviously not everyone has access to custom matchmaking if you don't have a Creator code so instead you can just look up the website fortnite.gg and select different spawns like chests and Mythic chests both of these are great ways to learn the loot spawns at your drop spot so definitely have this high on your priority list because it's so worth learning stepping more towards the combat side of things learning to fight players is very important but not all the time you'll have the confidence to fight all players in your lobby by using fake confidence you'll be able to eliminate your opponents much more easily and get some easy points for yourself to rank up what I mean by this is by using moves and plays that your opponent wouldn't expect when you're at low health or you're just not confident enough to fight them this almost always works as you may even scare the opponent that you're going up against using moves such as pushing or applying constant pressure to your opponent is a great way to scare them and show that you're a confident player even if you're not sometimes you need to use this when you're on low health and there isn't much way to get out of the fight that you're in the best thing that you can do is fight back in a more confident way like I explained before I found that most of the time this actually works and you may even end up getting an awesome clutch for you and your team the next tip is staying calm and not stressing learning to stay calm and not stressing during fights is so important in fortnite this is very similar to fake confidence during fights the more you play aggressively without a care versing the other players and the more you'll be able to perform and rank up super fast I find putting yourself into hard fights and difficult situations in the game is a great way to learn and improve on not getting stressed or nervous during a game of fortnite most stress in fortnite usually comes at the end of the game so practicing end games is a great way to help this you can either practice end game simulation Maps like forever Zone Wars or you could even just Camp until the end of the game so you can practice playing more of the end game and working on your nerves to not get stress a lot of stress also comes from overthinking I find I used to always overthink fights that I would take in game and I would always lose them because of this so don't overthink the fight that you're about to take and try not to get scared about the skill level that the player is working around Loot and Mets fortnite is constantly having new updates bringing out lots of new weapons and items which always changes The Meta of the game you need to be adjusting to these changes and learning the metas when this happens you want to try your best to find the metas and learn them using new weapons and items to your advantage is a great way to help you win fights and rank up super fast you can either do this by watching pros play and using the new weapons and items in unique ways to outplay their opponents or even just trying to come up with your own ways to use the new weapons and items is a great way to help you eliminate your opponents stay positive and don't rage quit this is once again a really underrated thing that not many people talk about but so many times I've quit out of pure Rage of just losing points and dying off spawn constantly you you want to try your best to keep your cool and stay positive even at the worst of times in your games I know there are so many points when you're playing ranked and you literally just want to pull your hair out but staying calm CU staying calm will help you to play so much better you'll always have these moments when you want to rage quit so just take a little break and get back into it and you'll play so much better than before you won't always have good games and you will lose points but at the end of the day you probably get some good games and earn your points back it's just a matter of time play consistently consistency is a ke key way to improving and ranking up I mean it's pretty obvious isn't it the more you play the more you'll improve and the more you'll rank up but only playing ranked will only get you so far you need to be prioritizing your time by warming up and practicing in Creative Maps so you can develop your skills and put your practice into ranked setting up a warm-up routine for yourself and your team is a great way to do this before jumping into rank every day this could involve practicing your free building editing peace control and then playing some realistic practice Maps like peace control 1 V ones or even forever Zone Wars once you've spent the time warming up you'll then be ready to jump into ranked and gain some points really easily make sure you and your team are consistently doing this so you can all improve super fast actually taking fights and stop camping I find so many people just camp and hope that they get some placement points but at the end of the day this is not a great way to improve you need to actually be pushing fights to improve most of your points come from kills by eliminating players who are higher rank or eliminating opponents towards the end of the game so if you can play moderately safe until the end game while picking up a few eliminations throughout the game and try your best to push fights towards the end game to get as many points as you can to improve and also rank up so there we have it here are 10 tips that I recommend you take into consideration when you and your team go into ranked and try and rank up to reach and real this season is a little bit more difficult to rank up but I believe in all of you if you put your mind to it you'll definitely be able to rank up fast it's all about your mentality if this video did help you out in any way please consider liking subscribing and commenting your favorite part of this video and make sure to let me know in the comments
