so in light of Pastor Mike Winger's video going over the Todd White letter from former employees the guys over at Remnant Radio who are charismatic swim in similar circles put out a video where they address different people that they've had on the channel and their affiliation with a guy like Todd White because they had Todd White on a while ago and they had some great insight about why They think Todd White kind of behaved in the way that he did oddly enough this is actually before the Mike Winger came video came out like a couple days before or maybe a week before so um shout out to uh Run Radio guys friends of the channel they had some really good insight on on the Todd White thing go ahead was this an interview that we should have done uh I think it was to be very clear I think it was a necessary conversation should we have pushed him harder yes okay we should have pushed him harder um uh I've said this before um and I I thought it was on YouTube uh I now realize this is a Patreon we did our reflections on our Todd White interview michael I don't know if you remember this it was the week after we interviewed the guy um but in that interview I said or in that conversation that we taped and put on Patreon I said "Hey look I don't think Todd White is safe like I don't think he's a safe guy to be doing um ministry with um and sitting under." Because again he doesn't have an orthodox understanding of who Jesus is now I got to go see their podcast so there's so many different little asterisks you know with with the dude but what they go on to say next uh in a moment here I think is by far the most interesting so he said he's kind of fumbled some basic christologology things obviously there's this thing that he hasn't lied or lusted in in a decade even though he definitely omitted some things around his fasting quote unquote right wwtd what would Todd do I would I would still stand by that so um couple things on Todd hold on and real quick on that just for clarification um when you say an orthodox understanding are you saying that he can't articulate orthodoxy or are you saying he actually misunderstands who Jesus is in that video um I said the former which is he cannot articulate um which because he he he instantly went on to uh uh what was the podcast with Kinda and and spouted the same thing he spouted in front of us which was not an orthodox version of Christology um so here was my hope my hope was legitimately like hey we this guy orthodox version of chryology Jesus is co-eternal jesus is prior to creation the son has always been there with the father okay in in that there's also a human component to Jesus okay right that Jesus is fully God and fully human fully God fully human he's not more God than he is human he's not more human than he is God okay he's 100% of both right and so I think if I had to go and understand and and pontificate on what they're alluding to it it would have something to do with with those types of claims about Jesus you know uh was that naive yep it was um after talking to Todd um and I want to say this in a very charitable sense i I hope people who uh I hope they don't hear me being ugly okay um I did a lot of ministry in Teen Challenge never having substance abuses myself um but but ministering with folks in that space and uh found that those who consumed narcotics at an early age stunted their mental development and there was a drill going on somewhere in my studio that's great uh anyway uh the the mental capacity of uh Todd seems to be of one who was stunted from doing drug an early age so that's not me making an excuse for him um I'm just saying if you can't articulate faithful doctrine and Bible teaching um you should not be teaching does that make sense so that's a hot take drugs early age mental faculty stunted it's a part of his testimony it's part of his testimony can choose the sin can't choose consequences well in his framework Jesus fully heals and fully restores and makes everything perfect oh both things can be true that's interesting right so we would say you can choose a sin you can't choose the consequences even things you did before you became a Christian can still have ramifications to them sometimes they don't sometimes they do but if your entire thing is God makes me without sin I don't lie I don't lust anymore i don't I just get closer to Jesus yep he there's probably a degree of being self-diluted and it might be because of the brain damage from the alcohol when he was a kid i'm just I'm just pontificating this is their theory wow that's crazy so I think there's a frequency of doctrinal error the reason we had him on the podcast was because he he made this giant repentance video and that's when we had him on but soon following you know he'll make videos where he talked about Jesus became an adulterer and aer and a pedopile and uh he starts naming all these things that Jesus became because Jesus became our sin instead of saying that that sin was imputed to him it was pretty pretty horrific stuff uh I I don't think Todd and this is on top of other conversations when we were in San Diego we got to hang out with Mike Winger he was sharing some stuff with us um we've had we've been able to talk to staff members um to to realize the kind of narcissism and heavy-handed leadership and so this is the stuff that the staff members passed on to Mike Winger which then turned into Mike Winger's video power that takes place there um I think those are grounds to say "Hey this guy shouldn't be uh in leadership and Mike's going to be releasing public videos on that." Um uh let's talk about the leg lengthening thing because this is this is the biggest criticism that we have of that video you guys didn't talk about the leg lengthening thing and then in another video I was like "Hey you know what's more important than leg lengthening christologology." Now I still stand by that but I hope that people can uh and I hope this is for for Chris and and and um so the leg lengthening thing there's been some people that have claimed that he's done fake miracles with the leg lengthening where's I'm going to perform a miracle right now i'm holding my arms out that I've been I was born this way actually from a young age i've been only able to reach the top shelf with my right hand and not my left uhhuh it's been a hard hard life but luckily through the power of a Todd White topic on the live stream oh my goodness now my left arm can reach the top shelf even more even and then my right arm even more i'm healed and I've got a longer reach now I'm going to join the UFC now they go on to say that one of the people that he prayed for actually they followed up with them and he did get healed oh play the rest of the video way to mock his bud and Justin I I hope that you hear how I'm approaching this because in 2007 I was at a conference it's a youth conference a very charismatic youth conference i was I was at late teen I think at the time um and uh we watched a guy I think named Hank Hutchavier I think was his name i was on stage there was a guy on stage his name was Adrian he was sitting in this chair he held Adrian's legs prayed for Adrian and you know he did the whole leg lengthening you know stick now I've talked to Adrian you know still to this day i think the last time I talked to him was maybe 5 years ago but like I still have some contact with Adrian so so I've kept up with him and he was physically healed he had back pain for years and was completely healed now what I saw from that was a bunch of youth kids and a bunch of Bible school students that were at that church um begin to practice that exercise because they saw someone else do it so when I'm coming into this Todd White conversation I'm asking myself well maybe he just doesn't know this thing can be used as a fabrication now I'm not so convinced of that anymore um it's totally worthy to press him on that question it's totally worthy to to push back and say "Hey you're fabricating miracles." Um but I hope that you understand that I'm saying this that that youth kids and Bible school students I were seeing them do this out of ignorance not because they knew Hank this so many people with like short legs where did all these people come from like a Why are they always at these events and then and then when do you discover that you got a shorter leg right i don't know you like think about the tape measure no hey no disc to anyone that got one leg is longer than the other i'm not I'm not trying to make fun of that i understand that that that might be frustrating but it's just funny that that that this is like a reoccurring thing that there's so many videos of people with one leg shorter than another getting these healings and because I know there's that one there's that one thing where people will get like the bigger boo scoliosis or whatever no no that's not scoliosis yeah you know what I'm talking about there's that the thing where someone has a bigger shoe and get custom shoes yes i don't think it's that i don't think that's what they're they're healing i think they're healing like minor like there's an inch difference in the person's leg that's a big I mean it's a big deal it's it's big but it's not like a foot like someone's got to have a obvious shoe and you know they got a big thing it's just it's just kind of like a minor like back issue uhhuh uhhuh or maybe half an inch whatever his name was you know he he hopped up on stage he didn't say hey guys this is how you fabricated a miracle he prayed for a guy the guy claimed to be healed the guy still claims to be healed and a bunch of people said "Oh then we want to do that because that's that's how you pray for people who have back pain and leg pain and all this other stuff." So uh yeah I wholly denounce the practice you should not put someone in a chair and lengthen their leg right you shouldn't do it um but in that context when we're having him on and again I know this isn't going to please people but I just need you to understand the framework that I was taking into that conversation and a naivity that I was taking into that conversation saying explanation not justification is the word explanation right that's that's what I'm looking for it's not justifiable explanation not justification there it is so he's saying the person there claimed to still be healed from someone lengthening their leg that's awesome i'll take it i think the the dr rug gs thing is pretty interesting you know anyone that did as a kid my old Bible teacher in junior high that's why they got him teaching the Bible nothing he did like hard drugs as a as a teenager uhhuh yeah yeah i mean even in like a in like a and so he used all even cannabis before you're 25 can do pretty pretty serious damage to your brain part of his testimony is like he got he's like I kind of have bad short-term memory sometimes he's fried he a little fried yeah no and so he he was like a funny guy but crazy testimony and so great Bible teacher but not like a um not like a theologian type of Bible teacher like a good testimony like we'd watch Duck Dynasty type of Bible teacher i tell you what I I I smoked weed as a kid i didn't smoke a lot of weed as a kid but I smoked enough to know that it wasn't good for my brain you're like "Wow this is crazy this is not good this is not it." Yeah i had a couple like bad trips where I was like really paranoid and I thought people were following me it was like it was scary yikes you know and so I was like I'm 12 dog like this can't be good for me like Yeah like seventh grade tripping out yeah wow that's crazy yeah so if you're doing hard drug you out here smoking you out here doing serious stuff i mean well can you imagine you know someone say God can heal your brain easy god can easy god can of course it's first it's easy for God yeah for sure god can but that doesn't mean everyone gets a healing all the time right and so if you're seeing this behavior that's indicative of someone who did hard drug in their youth and they're now an adult and they're they have some processing disorders some some something and it's not nothing yeah you know uh it would make sense so anyway I uh shout out to the radio guys i think that them kind of explaining that but the tricky part is that there still seems to be some miracles right that that that have came out so that's like how do you wrestle with that you know so hopefully hopefully he repents and cleans this up and and takes a break i think at the very least that he should repent take a break and apparently Winger said there's more stuff coming out some of the the former employees are about to come out publicly and not just anonymously so far everything is anonymous the email is anonymous so there's going to be some of these folks that are going to come out publicly then there's other there's other folks you know there's other folks who are um alleging similar things against other quote unquote prophets or hyperarismatic leaders yikes you know so it's trippy it's not nothing hey thank you so much for checking out the video please be sure to comment below and subscribe and all that good stuff and check out this other video that YouTube seems to be recommending just for you let me know if they nailed it all right I'll see you over there peace
