Key Principles for Achieving Success

foreign [Music] the five principles for Success States the five big things you need to do the five behavioral frames for success is how we say okay and now that you have your five principles how are you gonna behave when you apply all these principles so how are you gonna go about reaching your goal the five principles for Success so this section five is just how we are saying how we how are we going to behave within the five principles for Success what are the five behavioral frames for Success the very first one there is an orientation towards outcomes rather than problems we are it's reasons versus results we're going to ask you for a result if you're if you're doing NLP we're not going to talk about the mud and the mad and the mad and the mad and the mud and now you got into the mud and other mud feels and how long you want to be in the mud and the texture of the mud and how what's the temperature of the man and the mind and the mind and the mud we're going to talk about you getting yourself into the mud and then we're going to talk about you getting yourself out of the mud how are we going to do that outcomes rather than problems and very often you'll see people you'll ask them what they like I said before people will very often tell you what they do not want the problems they do not want but they struggle to tell you the outcomes asking how questions rather than why questions asking how questions rather than why questions guys how questions will give you an understanding it will give you a better intention of your mindset for example it's like Robert Kiyosaki said in his book reach that Poor Dad instead of asking why is this so expensive rather say how can I afford this why questions will lead to will lead to justifications and reasons how questions will each that will lead to steps and processes yeah why me why you're gonna get your reticular activating system is going to give you all of the answers you need if you're going to say how can I do this your reticular activating system will give you all of the answers you need remember you've got a CIA team in your mind listen to what I'm saying guys the most prolific scientists still today with the technology that we have still today can't explain 100 what's going on in your mind and your mind has more power than the fastest most powerful computers in the world do not tell me that your reticular activating system don't have immense power to show you the things that you need to be shown and to bring draw things let's say draw things out for your attention yours your reticular activating system is your CIA team that you have to your disposal that's more powerful than any other computer out there and we don't even use it yo Franco I know what I want I know in my mind no if you don't ride it out with a plan you don't have anything so if we ask how questions instead of asking why questions once again that leads to steps and reasons reasons and justifications we're going to ask how questions how can we do this how can we do this better in my mind when I'm going to drive back I'm not going to ask myself so frankly why did you go on this morning so long you're going to ask how can I get this to fit into the schedule to make sure that we finish on time I'm going to ask how questions and you can start gaining proactive experience like I said earlier by starting to ask our Christians how can I improve how can I when when I'm in that situation get myself better when I'm faced with that how can I do that better better better so that I get a better result feedback instead of failure we've covered that you guys happy with that we covered that this morning okay there's no such thing as failure guys only feedback guys the fourth frame is possibilities instead of necessities possibilities instead of necessity which what I want to ask you are you running away from the darkness are you running away from the darkness or are you running towards the light because if I'm running away from the darkness I'm always going to do just enough to avoid it like a diet I'm not happy with what I see the darkness is here I run run run run run run I get on that diet I eat I exercise very nice now the darkness is there what happens we start to camp Dr scams darkness comes because that was necessity that wasn't possibility that wasn't where I can go this was I need to get out of here now very often that is a very strong motivator to get yourself to move but it's not as strong so we call that away from very often away from strategies a good strategy to get the initial action like my mom she was like whoa I don't want that but now you need to write down something so compelling that that thing will keep on bullying you so are you running away from the darkness or are you running towards the light because if you're running away from the darkness you'll always do just enough to avoid it what we love that what we resist persists because whatever you resist you are putting your focus and attention on that and whatever you're putting putting your focus and attention on you will attract you will draw to you it goes back to the identity like I said this morning it's like if I if I want to stop smoking it's not like you you come to me at a party like hey Frank you want to smoke I'm not going to say hey no I want to stop smoking then I'm resisting yes I I'm saying it's part of my identity oh thanks and it's but sorry no I'm not a smoker okay okay I change the way I look at the situation it's part of my identity and what do we do every single day we want to show other people that we are living other people sorry and ourselves most importantly that we are living in congruence with who we say we are that's why I'm saying that's that's why I said the the most important thing is the who because you need to get the who right before you can get the white right or all vice versa but you can't say that I want to stop smoking you need to First identify within yourself to say I'm not a smoker anymore then only you will continue through because if I'm gonna I'm gonna say I want to stop smoking strongs were that one the fifth frame adopts and the attitude of curiosity and a Fascination in place of making assumptions and clinging to facts I'm going to skip that one I'm going to come back to that right now okay every behavior is a learned behavior in order to achieve personal success we need to become self-aware of our daily behavior and habits identify what is serving us and what is limiting Us by making small adjustments in our daily habits and behavior we can drastically increase our personal success says guys every behavior is learned behavior every single behavior that you have is a learned behavior it's just repetition it's like when you got into the car that's what I always say if you if you can compare every single skill in this world to driving a car that means you can achieve you can learn any skill the very first time you got into a car you were you weren't able to drive and to get everything going from the get-go you practice and practice and practice and now you can get flipping you can drive the car you don't even have to think you just Wi-Fi Bluetooth Wi-Fi Bluetooth GPS everything like I mentioned this morning you know on the phone drinking coffee and taking off ramp but when you just thought that it was quite a conscious thing for you like I had to think uh um okay and but it's a learned behavior every single thing is just a learned behavior it's very simple you get four stages of learning you get unconscious incompetence which means I don't know what I don't know it's like you tell a guy that's never seen a car hey you want to drive with my car it's like what do you mean drive with your car I don't know even what Drive is I don't know even what a car is you don't know but you don't know the second stage is unconscious uh unconscious incompetence then you get conscious competence a conscious sorry incompetence that's basically okay now I know about a car but I have no idea how it works now you get into the passenger into the seat I teach you how to work how the car works and how to drive and now what happens is you're consciously competent you're consciously competent you you know how to drive the car but you have to think about driving a car that's when you just started out it's like most of the things after this 10-day course you guys will be consciously competent you'll have to you know what to do but you'll when you're starting with your sessions and stuff you'll have to like think okay what am I going to do next what am I going to say until you do this so many times with body language and all those things it just happens naturally and then the best stage of learning most people get stuck there and there most people get stuck there if you really want to be truly want to become a master at something you want to become unconscious unconsciously competent which is you get into the car get into GPS get onto Bluetooth take it off ramp you just you just it just happens you don't even think about it does that make sense so every single thing is a learned behavior every single thing is learned behavior the last one the fifth frame there is an attitude of curiosity and fascination in place of making assumptions and clinging to facts the Curiosity and fascination of Albert Einstein who disregarded what was fact definite or possible and entertain the idea of what if and in so doing change the scientific world and reframe reality guys I am I have I have had the opportunity like I said this morning to work with really interesting people over the past seven years I've worked with and closely with really interesting people very successful people people in respected fields the number one also with the books that I've read in the videos that I've watched the number one ability or thing driver that these people have in their respected Fields is one thing and one thing alone curiosity they are constantly curious on how they can prove how this happens how that happens how we can do this how we can do this what that what does that mean what does this mean how will that affect the business how will that affect them I want to ask you today guys put passion on the burner put purpose on the back burner I want to ask you today and this is also one of the things boom I had a conversation with John Cena and he completely shifted my mind with regards to this what makes you curious look for what makes you curious follow that Curiosity if I go into your Facebook right now your Instagram what is the articles that you are reading what is the golden thread that I will find there on your Instagram your Facebook your library at home to your audible account what is the golden thread that I will find there look for what makes you curious follow that Curiosity because it will lead you to excitement When You Reach excitement you will have endless energy and endless inspiration and when you're always inspired so look for what makes you curious follow your curiosity because it will lead you to excitement When You Reach excitement you will always have energy and inspiration you will have endless energy and endless inspiration just think about this you you always read that one article or thing when you're not supposed to have the time I'll just quickly I'm quickly gonna do it just and when you're always energetic and always inspired people get attracted to you like a magnet IC so the whole thing the whole quote look for what makes you curious follow that Curiosity because when you follow that Curiosity it's going to lead you to excitement when you reach that excitement you will have two things endless energy endless inspiration and when you are always energetic and always inspired people get attracted to you like a magnet and guys the number one reason I'm standing in front of you guys today is the fact that I entertained my curiosity of what it makes what's What It Takes what psychology it takes to get and become successful in whatever Endeavor I become absolutely obsessed of how successful people think how they act how they behave how human behavior Works how this this how the mind we tell all of these things work because I had a curiosity in those things and that Curiosity led me to this let me do that led me to this and that is the reason why I'm in front of you guys today because of one thing and one thing alone curiosity [Music]
