do you want to know how to make money reading books and how you can potentially earn hundreds of dollars doing this from your home then this video is for you my name is michael and if you watched any of my videos before you will know that i'm always testing new different free ways to make some extra money and many people have asked me about how to earn by reading books and therefore i decided to make this video here where i will show you five legit options to do just that and it will all be quite different so no matter your preferences as long as you like reading then there will be some great options for you to earn a bit of extra money so before we go over the five options that i want to show you i just want to make it clear that this is not a prioritized list which option is the best for you really depends on your preferences the type of books you like to read if you also like to write a little bit about it all kind of different things that i will explain as i go over the five options here also what's important to know that most of these will not necessarily be a way to make a full-time income some of them can give really good earnings if you are willing to put in quite a lot of effort others will just be a little bit extra on the side i will explain all that about the different options so you can choose the ones that are right for you you can use just one of them or you can use all five of them that's completely up to you so with that explained let's now go over these five options so the first option here is called acx here and this is a platform where you can find work as a reader you have to read for audio books so they have all kind of different projects here you can see you can find titles here that are open for auditions so you need to apply and if you are then chosen you can earn by reading this and you can earn in different ways they have different ways to pay you for example so you can see for example 40 exclusive royalty so if you get several jobs like this and you're really good at it then it can potentially be a recurring income that keep coming in because you will get potentially royalties every time that these books are listened to sometimes it'll also be a one-time fee and there are different options like this so i cannot tell you exactly how much you can earn by doing this but if you are very good at reading out loud and you have a pleasant voice and you like doing that then this is definitely one of the best options to make money reading books because you can earn potentially also long term here and it gives quite decent earnings also but i also do know that this is not necessarily a good option for all and therefore i also have some other options that does not require the same skills you can say that are definitely easier so let's just continue with the list here the next option here is called kirkus here and you can just go to the website here kirkus reviews there and go to the career section and you can see you can become a book reviewer so you just need to read a book in english or spanish language as you can see here and then write a short review of it in fact the review you can see he only needs to be 350 words so it's quite short exactly how much we get will depend on the project but what i've been able to find out is that often you can expect to earn somewhere between 50 and 60 dollars per review here so of course you need to read the book and spend time doing that so depending on how fast a reader you are it might not give huge earnings but if you like reading anyways then it can be a great way to explore new titles here and get paid for writing a very short review at the same time the next option here is called onlinebookclub.org here and here you can also get paid to review books so you need to read them you are given a selection of different books you can choose from and the books are of course free and then you will just have to write a review to get these books for free but at the same time you will also get paid but how much you get paid will vary you can see here between five dollars and sixty dollars per review so it varies quite a lot but you're of course always welcome to say no if there's a review you think it's not for you what book you're not interested in or you do not want to do it for to pay the offer and things like this but if you get some of the higher paying ones definitely can be a nice way to make some extra money the next platform is called fiverr and fiverr is a freelance platform where you can earn by doing all kind of things and what many does not know is that there are a lot of people here that also offer to for example read books and they get paid for that so let's just look here if we say read books here so we just find this beta book reader here and you can see all these people here are offering that their services here and this one for example had 205 reviews and that means at least 205 people bought her service here and this one here 155 not everybody leave a review but that just gives you indication all these people here if they are able to sell the service here is because people are looking for that so this is also a way you just need to go here and create a profile so here it can take a little bit of time to build up a reputation and in the beginning you need to take a bit of time to maybe often lower price also and then build up your reputation but then it definitely also has a long-term potential and you can for example just go to get some inspiration by looking for this it's a book reader here you can also try to search for for example book reviewer here if we just try that here and then you can see there's also a lot of different people that offer this year a lot of people that gets job doing this also so that can be a way to get some inspirations you need to go here and become a seller and then create a profile create your job start getting a few jobs there and then build it up so the last option i want to go over is called get abstract here and that's where you need to write different abstract here you need to apply to become a member here or to become a writer here and you need to write a short summary of a certain article here they give very clear instructions here so if you want to apply here just make sure to go through this it is very clear what they're expecting and if you get approved you can expect quite a decent amount of work how much you get paid will vary from project to project so you can just choose depending on your schedule and how much you want to earn and which projects you want to say yes and no to so this is not as much as reading books as short is reading all kinds of documents and then just writing different abstracts of it so it's a little bit different than the others so it's not the same type of things you would need to read but just as an alternative if you like reading and writing a little bit there then this can definitely be worth looking into also so as you can see there are several ways you can earn some extra money by reading books and all of these options are free to sign up for you can choose just one of them all of them that's completely up to you you just need to do it with the right expectations because of course it will require some effort and some of the higher paying ones that i showed you of course requires more effort but if you like doing this then it can also give some quite good earnings in the long run however it's not necessarily the best option for all if you're looking for easier ways to earn a bit of extra money online or you find out that you do not have the patience to go through the application processes some of these requires then you can go for many other online jobs instead where you
