hicard carvalo head of sales engineering for Amber a exective Jets I'm about to board the prer 600 in a flight from London stanstead to Teterboro where we want to experience the key capabilities of this great aircraft I'm Steve orano I own the jet business in London I've been invited today to fly on the prer 600 by embri a from London to Tor airport to really talk firsthand to my client of all the benefits of this [Music] aircraft we know Steve for his over 40 years of contribution to business Aviation as one of the most Innovative and successful corporate jet brokers in the world so Steve glad to have you this morning flying to New York what are your expectations for today I mean listen I'm really super excited about this this morning because first of all I've flown on oper 600 a number of times around Europe but I've never taken it transatlantic I want to feel the longdistance capabilities with the c and pressure altitude you know and the and the Fly by wire Comfort H and also to be able to fly to New York first thing in the morning from London go meet a customer show them the airplane and now have two quick meetings in New York and then get back on a plane and fly back to London tonight to be back in my office tomorrow morning I mean this is really the true use of corporate Aviation so it's really living and living the dream you practice what you preach I'm so glad we'll be partnering today for this flight and we make our journey to the US more productor I'm really looking forward to it welcome my name is Steve Turner I'm one of the captains here at imraa the mission will take us about 7 hours 45 minutes and we'll be departing here at 7:00 a.m. and making our way um 43,000 ft to uh tpro arriving just before the start of day over in New York today the prer 6 is a main State when someone wants to fly from Europe to North America with no problem of course andrier over the last uh 15 years or so they've created a big market share especially in the small midsize super midsize aircraft and they've really taken advantage of some of the technology that some of the other manufacturers are still in the process of developing so this airplane is unique because it's the minimum number of seats that actually have the size of the wing and the fuel capacity to get you all the way to New York it's actually can go even further and go down to Washington DC even against the winds my name is Captain James Pine I'm one of the demonstration Pilots here at imraa in terms of fuel capacity we'll be departing today with full fuel which is £ 16,200 expecting to burn somewhere around 13,200 and we can also carry a payload of £1,600 as well going Oceanic and dealing with the NAT hlaa is a very very simple Affair dealing with Communications through items such as cpdlc we're able to make the fly absolutely effortless 776 Echo EO standed good morning fly heading 295° fly heading 295° at 776 echo echo byebye we were wheels up out of London 7:00 a.m. in the morning now it's 9 25 we have more or less 1/3 of our flight complete at this point so let's go to the cockpit and check out how things are going hey Jimbo Carver how are you sir yeah we're making very good progress so far we're now just coming approximately Midway across the North Atlantic got £1,000 of fuel on board so far so we took off with £ 16,100 roughly so yeah so far we're making great progress we're on ETA on times here we are now at 43,000 FT we're I don't know third halfway into the journey don't really know because we've had a nice breakfast this morning had a nice conversation I even forgot we were flying uh the ride's been so smooth I mean we're talking at a regular level there's no elevated voice in here it is amazingly quiet uh to be able to talk without making an effort a natural way right yeah cuz I was actually up in the cockpit where usually the noisiest from that wind screen and it was it's almost as quiet up up there as it is back here now we're at 43,000 FT the cabin is feeling more or less at 5200 ft which means we feel like we were in Denver as opposed as we were in Aspen if we're flying a regular airliner or a previous generation Business Jet I you really really feel the difference as the trip goes on and on I'm looking forward to seeing how as we go the C out to being so much lower on this airplane is that you know I'm going to feel like as soon as we land we'll be just as fresh as when we took off welcome back to the flight deck um we are now about 4 hours 10 minutes into the flight with about 3 hours 20 minutes left to run we are still at uh flight level 430 Mac desimal 78 we have about 7,000 900 lb of fuel which is um exactly what we were expecting to have we've also got the cabin altitude of 5320 which uh is a really low cabin altitude for this altitude of 43,000 Ft maximizing an aircraft's range has everything to do with maximizing its fuel efficiency so there are a few things that we took care of in order to reach that level the first thing I can mention is the wing lights this aerodynamic device for the prer is a proprietary Ember Air Design that allows the aircraft significant increase its fuel efficiency when crossing the Atlantic to complement the productivity goal of business Aviation we need to have connectivity so this aircraft is equipped with a Ka band antenna and capability which allows us to conduct conference calls have meetings and remain more productive as we reach our final [Music] destination just talk a little bit about the flying by wire in the aircraft you'll notice that I've got a side stick instead of a conventional Yol that gives me a lot more space in the aircraft this technology also allows the aircraft to automatically smooth out the ride with our active turbulence reduction and the Fly ball while will work in turbulence to keep the cabin as smooth as [Music] possible t Road good morning G November 6 Echo Echo we are established for uh Runway 06 776 e t Tower wind 0 Runway 6 Park 1344 welcome to New York's tabra airport where we've completed another glorious mission on the emba pror 600 with a flight time of 7 hours 40 minutes and it's a lovely beautiful day ready for the start of the business day not even 10:00 in the morning got the whole day ahead of us I just feel I feel like Superman Man I mean this is this has been a fantastic trip and uh I can't thank you enough for having this experience and learning more about the airplane about all the performance specs it was the calest flight of course it was like not one bit of turbulence which was amazing and I feel super refreshed I don't feel like I even flew we're glad to to make our day more productive glad for your time that you could join us so hope see you soon flying Amber again I'm sure you will
