introduce significant updates with the Galaxy s25 series from a Powerhouse of a new chipset to some controversial design choices Samsung's latest Flagship is already Making Waves stick around as we Rick osto expressed enthusiasm about the strengthened partnership and the promising opportunities ahead for both companies in addition to this newer Android OS Samsung and Google are working together the Galaxy S 2 ultra is expected to run version two of Google's AI model Gemini Nano the first version is already powering Samsung s24 Series so it's safe to assume Gemini Nano 2 will be present to power the next generation of Galaxy AI features in Galaxy s25 Ultra first up let's talk about the camera the Galaxy s25 Ultra will continue to sport a quad camera setup on the back the main sensor remains at a whopping 200 megapixels similar to the s24 ultra but with added optimizations thanks to the new Snapdragon Gen 4 ISP this means you can expect even better image processing and overall photo quality the telephoto lens setup has also seen some upgrades according to Tom's guide the 3x optical zoom lens will now feature a 50 megapixel sensor offering sharper and more detailed zoom in shots the 5x Periscope lens will also maintain a 50 megapixel sensor ensuring you can capture distant subjects with great clarity lastly Samsung has listened to the feedback and upgraded the ultrawide sensor to 50 Maps up from 12 Maps moving on to the design despite rumors that Samsung might increase the display size to compete with Apple's larger screens the Galaxy s25 Ultra will stick to a 6.8 in display however it's not all bad news the display will reportedly hit a new Peak brightness of 3,000 knits making it one of the brightest screens on the market as for the overall look don't expect major changes from the s24 ultra while some fans might be disappointed with the lack of a redesign Samsung seems to be focusing on refining and optimizing their current design language rather than Reinventing it speaking of the processor the Galaxy s25 Ultra will feature qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset built with fresh Orion CPU cores this new 3 nanometer chip by tsmc boasts a revolutionary 2 plus 6 design replacing the OnePlus 3 plus4 layout of its predecessor and includes no efficiency cores the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is set to achieve boosted clock speeds from 3.3 GHz to 4 GHz possibly even 4.26 GHz this Powerhouse configuration delivers significant improvements in both CPU and GPU performance according to digital chat station the new GPU will be able to handle demanding games like gensin impact at 1080P and 60 FPS smoothly despite initial concerns about power consumption recent tests show that the ship is well optimized ensuring competitive battery life alongside its high performance coming to battery life the s25 ultra will most likely not see a physical increase in battery size sticking to the same slim and Sleek design as its predecessor but Samsung is introducing a new AI driven battery management system this battery AI is expected to boost battery efficiency by up to 10% without compromising performance however don't get your hopes up for faster charging speeds the S2 5 series is expected to maintain the same 45w fast charging as the previous models it might be a let down for those hoping for a significant upgrade in charging Tech also it's not clear if the Samsung Galaxy s25 and Galaxy s25 plus will be equipped with the same ufs 4.1 storage or whether the top-of-the-line Galaxy s25 Ultra model will be equipped with the Next Generation flash storage the more advanced ufs 5.0 storage is reportedly expected to arrive by 2027 speaking of the release date and pricing the Galaxy s25 Ultra is likely to be released early next year with a launch event expected in January or February pricing could see a hike due to the more expensive Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset this might mean the s25 ultra could be priced higher than the s24 ultra possibly exceeding $1,300 for the base model rumors suggest that Samsung might differentiate the lineup further by using their own exus 2500 chip in the regular s25 and s25 plus models reserving
