Hello and welcome back everyone. This is Doc Ed Padama. Ngayon pag-usapan natin paano isulat itong theoretical conceptual framework ng inyong study.
Ito ang isa sa pinakamahirap intindihin kung ano ba ang role nitong theory and concept dito sa inyong research at ano ang ibig sabihin ng framework. So paano ito binubuo, paano ito sinusulat at paano natin magiging magagawang simplified, mas simple. yung approach ng pagsusulat nitong bahagi ng research ninyo. So, simula natin doon sa unang bahagi by differentiating ano ang pagkakaiba ng theory doon sa tinatawag nating concept. So, mula dito sa definition niya, a theory presents an explanation.
So, ito yung theory natin. It presents an explanation to understand a phenomena. A phenomena is something, an event.
That cannot be explained. So isang pangyayari na mahirap o hindi maipaliwanag. So nagbibigay ng paliwanag itong theory na ito doon sa event na yon.
While on the other hand, ang concept na tinatawag natin is a general and abstract idea. A general or abstract idea, yung pagkakaintindi natin sa isang bagay is what we call a concept. So bear in mind the difference between theory and concept.
And then pupunta na tayo doon sa, bago tayo pumunta doon sa pangatlo, yun yung framework. There are theories that also presents concepts. So this is a reminder na merong theory na within that theory presents a concept. So this serves as an explanation to the theory.
Meron silang concept sa loob ng kanilang theory dahil ito yung explanation nila para maging ebidensya doon sa kanilang claim. na ibinibigay sa kanilang theory. Ulitin natin, merong theory na may kasama ng concept. And meron namang iba, theory lang, walang concept. Yung iba, purely concepts lang.
Okay, so that's number two. Number three, Okay. A framework, ito na. Dito na tayo sa tinatawag nating framework. Ano naman yung framework?
This is a guide and a foundation of the study. Ibig sabihin ng guide para malaman ninyo kung ano yung mga kasama sa study ninyo ang magiging... basihan ninyo will be the theory or the concept. Kaya siya tinawag na theoretical framework or conceptual framework.
Kagaya ng mga variables na ibinibigay sa theory or concept. Ano-ano yung mga elemento na nasa loob ng theory and concept. Ano-ano yung mga relationship nitong variables or elements na dinidiscuss Dito sa loob ng theory or concept.
Yun ang susundan ninyo. Yun din ang gagamitin ninyo at magre-reflect sa study ninyo. Therefore, tinatawag siyang framework.
Kasi doon nakahulma yung study na ginagawa ninyo sa theory and sa concept. Yung elements ng theory and concept ninyo. Yung relation nito mga elements. and the variables nitong theory and concept ninyo.
So again, make sure that you are familiar with these terms para alam ninyo kung ano dapat yung proper theory and concept na gagamitin ninyo. Okay, next. Number four. Theories and concepts usually presents variables and elements in their relationship.
to each other. So, yung mga theory and concepts, sabi natin earlier, dun sa number 3, usually meron yung mga elements and variables at makikita nyo, pre-present nyo yung relationship nito mga variables sa isa't isa. Okay?
And then number 5, the flow and relationship of these variables will be adopted in the study. Again, earlier this is what we were discussing, kung paano yung pagkakasunod-sunod, yung organization, yung sequence and process that is presented doon sa concept or theory, this will now serve as a guide in conducting the research. Okay, number six, if a theory was chosen as a basis for the study, This will now be referred to as a theoretical framework.
Doon na po lumalabas yung term na theoretical framework. Inadapt nyo yung theory kasama ng mga elements, yung variables, yung relationships, yung processes nung theory na yun doon sa study ninyo. And now you call that your theoretical framework. Doon nakabase yung study ninyo.
Okay, while on the other hand, if a concept naman is used in the study, this will now be referred to as a conceptual framework. So, ganun din. Ganon din kung papaano sa theory, ganon din naman sa concept ninyo.
Okay, next number seven. Present the title of the theory or concept. So, in your manuscript, sa pagsusulat na ng research ninyo, the first thing that you're going to do is to identify the theory or concept.
Pwedeng theory or concept. concept ang gamitin ninyo. So, it is not absolute na kailangan theoretical framework or conceptual framework depending on the relevance of the theory or concept doon sa research ninyo.
Ibig sabihin, dapat related yung theory ninyo at sinusuportahan yung study ninyo doon sa research na ginagawa ninyo. So the theory should support the study that you are conducting. So number seven again, present the title of the theory or concept.
Sino yung sumulat, the author, and the idea behind the theory or the concept. Ipipresent ninyo doon sa manuscript ninyo. So dapat mag-reflect yung explanation yan.
And then number eight, discuss the relevance of the These, theory or concept to the study being conducted. Anong kinalaman ng itong pinili ninyong theory or concept doon sa research na ginagawa ninyo. So basically, these are the important concepts and ideas that you need to take into consideration kapag nagsusulat na kayo noong tinatawag nating theoretical conceptual framework.
Now, we're going to look at a sample of this product. part of your research and then eventually, especially if you've already chosen a conceptual framework, dito na lumalabas yung research paradigm ninyo. Okay? So usually, the research paradigm is based on your conceptual framework. Kung theory naman siya, they usually present the paradigm using a different flow, yung research flow lang pinapakita nila.
Or they can also use the elements presented in the theory. Okay? Anyway, that will be another subject for our next video regarding research paradigm. So dito, tignan natin kung ano yung formulation ng kanyang conceptual framework.
Conceptual framework ang pinili niya. And pre-incentive na dito, the study is anchored. Naka-ankla doon sa tinatawag niyang inquiry-based learning. Okay? And then after that, so diniscuss yung inquiry-based learning.
And then after discussing the idea, the concept behind inquiry-based learning, take note ha, conceptual framework ang ginamit niya. So present nyo lang, ano yung mga naging studies related to this particular concept. And then after that, nag-present siya ng figure, Brunner Cycle of Inquiry.
Ito na yung merong tinatawag nating elements or variables that are included in your... your concept. So, it shows the relationship, it shows the variables, the elements, and the relationship of the elements to each other. Kasi magre-reflect ito doon sa research na ginagawa ninyo.
Okay? Whether it's in the process, or the rubrics that you're going to use as a basis for your instrument, all of this. Kaya nga siya tinawag na framework. will be the foundation and the basis of what is to follow doon sa research ninyo.
Okay, so again, the diagram presents Brunner's Cycle of Inquiry. And then after that, I think hanggang dun lang. Since Brunner's Cycle of Inquiry focused on the process of discovering concept by asking questions, investigation, okay.
The researcher adopted this Cycle of Inquiry. doon sa research niya. Ito na yung sinasabi natin, make sure that you present the relevance of these concepts to the study that you are conducting.
So, basically, this is how you should write theoretical conceptual framework in a nutshell. And again, these are the considerations na pwede ninyong gamitin kapag kayo ay nagsusulat.
