In the heart of rural nowhere, nestled between miles of overgrown fields, lay an abandoned farm known as Hollow Acres. The locals avoided it, their whispers thick with tales of vanishings and strange happenings. They said the land itself was cursed—a story passed down from the days of its first owner, Elijah Crowe.
Elijah, a reclusive farmer, had lived there decades ago. His crops thrived unnaturally, even during droughts, but the livestock… they didn’t last. Neighbors claimed to hear unsettling sounds at night—low growls and the agonized screams of animals. One morning, a traveling merchant discovered the farm deserted, the barn smeared with blood, and deep claw marks gouged into the wooden beams.
