How to Find Worms in Your Backyard

hi everybody it's charlie from forward fishing and today i'm going to show you guys how to find worms in your backyard easily and fast so let's get started backyard and um you're going to want to start by finding just a place that's covered in leaves and finding rooms would be a lot easier if it recently rained and it rained last night for me but it doesn't have it's not a must but this spot right here is perfect for finding worms so let's move on to the next step okay so you're gonna want to get a container and get a good amount of water in there okay that's good then you need to add a good amount of soap a lot of soap okay so now you have your soap in there just you know mix it up and take it outside so i'm walking over this spot it's covered in leaves sit down my soapy water okay he's gotta uncover the leaves and just oh my god so this is you know it's a good spot when there's other insects back here just like that but okay i'm not using my hands i'll be right back with something else to move all right i'm back i do not have a rake but i have a broom and i'm going to see if it works because i don't want to touch any like centipedes or anything because they're gross all right so the dirt exposed we can start to pour the water you want to really get it in there so that it soaks really deep oh look at that instantly worms so you gotta grab them quick come on not very big ones come on there's one there's three see there's all sorts of other insects so you gotta just kind of stay out here and wait for a bunch of worms to come out and just for it only takes like it won't take more than five minutes to have a whole bunch of worms and usually some pretty big ones will come out um but you have to be patient those ones usually deeper it takes a little while for those to come up but there's another one see worms come out so fast don't worry so there's a few small ones i don't know if they're worth getting see you see them start to come out wait for them to come all the way out because they're slippery and they will slip out of your fingers and go right back into the ground really fast look at that it's a decent sized room it's gonna pick it up two worms actually where is it there it is there we got a good bunch of worms so far a lot of small ones but okay that's enough worms for me today inside got our worms you gotta wash the soap off of them okay so this is what i do i guess cheese all right so get kind of can get kind of messy but pour them all out onto a paper towel and then just get that paper towel bring it over to your container with dirt in it good amount of dirt and you just gotta plop them in there there'll be some soap on them but if they're swimming in there they're in their moist dirt it'll soak it all up okay it looks like we got all of them grab this is just water and just miss them it's good then you want to put a top on them make sure you have lots of holes and then um i hope that this helps and shows how just how easy it is to find a bunch of worms very fast in your backyard um as long as they're in your refrigerator they should last a few weeks so you want them to last longer just every few weeks sprinkle some coffee in there um and that that's great food for worms um but when they're in the fridge they don't need to eat that much because it slows down their metabolism but if you feel if you've had them for a really long time get them some coffee and it should um be great food and keep them alive for maybe even like a few months okay but thank you for watching and come back to ford fishing if you need more videos to help you [Music] working out your worst night
