Rec Room Community Issues

in this video I'll be talking about all the issues that the community is facing right now and myself about rec room be it high token prizes buggy updates bad moderation so enjoy there will be also opinions and thoughts of others creators active members of the community and other room creators uh so stick around listen carefully and let me know in the comments if there's something you agree or points I'm going to talk about in this video and many others uh real concerns from the community the video is probably going to be really long so I don't know grab snacks or if you don't have the time just our concerns and issues we mean no harm and talking for myself I really love recro recro has changed my life this may sound goofy but like uh I'm going be I'm I'm going be honest guys so yeah before anyone says I'm hating recom or something I do not I love this game so much uh without recr I wouldn't be able to meet so many great friends and making so many great memories re takes a big part of my life so I hope you guys understand that I do love reom and this is not a hate video uh even though it kind of seems like it but yeah we love rec room otherwise I will make this long video so yeah enjoy guys enjoy enjoy I've put lots of work onto this video I've been experiencing it way too much the performance room is so terrible oh my God it's so trash we all know the new I it's so buggy we still have performance issues till this day it's been how long years already be just opening your watch like I I I can just go to the people I'll be lagging out like I'm I'm every single time something loads I I I'll be freezed for a second it's been years now Rec still has a huge performance issue um same thing goes to the streamer cam whenever you pick up the streamer cam it's just laggy like obviously it's not much cuz like in this room there's nothing right now I'm not going to show but there here is nothing you know I'm just standing still so I guess it's going to be fine with this room cam but it doesn't matter where else you go be the Rex be Rec Royale you're going to lag out in any room with the streamer cam it's it hasn't gotten better in never it never hasn't got better it is still so laggy and performance taking for such a low poly game guys do you see my head you see my head how the am I lagging it's really questionable cuz if you look into vret as a comparison since V is also a social game you can load up many fully loaded avatars in many different words pick up the camera or even the video camera I I don't know what's the difference but I guess there's a difference and you experience zero lag zero lag you may experience lag if you load up a others that takes much performance but everything else it doesn't lag I I don't get how how is there a big difference especially when it's about the cameras you both both games are made on Unity how's the big change another issue with the streamer cam is also whenever you turn on the streamer cam you cannot turn it off cuz if you do turn it off there will be a frozen screen that you cannot close cuz if you're going to close it the whole game will be closed meaning you either turn the streamer cam off and you'll have a frozen screen the whole time meaning if you record something or you want to clip something it won't work for you cuz the only thing that is being shown is a frozen screen or if you want to turn off the streamer C but still want to record something or clip something you have to restart the whole game big performance issue with recom since ever and again it's a low po game look at my avatar I have a egg head I have a I have a square body I have Lego hands so yeah there's that um by the way guys H Coro and Rec even though I'm like rening about Rec you know you still got first noted issue yeah the performance issue it was a not but the first noted issues are many hackers I don't know if You' have seen it before I'm joking you probably have seen it there are so many hackers in rec room currently it doesn't matter where you go it can be a any event or any active room all the reender You'll Always Find a hacker I don't really think it's Rec room's full but how can there be so many hackers in this game there are much more than any other game that I know that also use anti obviously hackers are going to find new loopholes to like hack in the game or whatever um I think ream will always struggle with that but one thing ream should do is think of like new tools ways for players to prevent those moments obviously you cannot do much in the rec center but let's say you have your own room and you want to prevent people from hacking it right how can this be possible that a hacker can just delete your room or spawn in the makeup pen or whatever I'm pretty sure re room should be able to like kind of fce permissions on players know and being not able to like spawn in the makeup and and do stuff you know so currently it doesn't feel like re is doing enough to prevent hackers and I feel like it's a big factor why re is like being really unsatisfying for the player base cuz when there's a heck on they ruin your fun be like you you're playing something right you don't want to continue playing cuz you are just annoyed about those hackers especially if you meet them several times today and then on the next day and then on the next day you get what I mean players are just going to be annoyed they don't want to go into public rooms anymore they just want to do something private or they just completely don't play the game and play something else where they want me a hacker every single instance I do know ream is trying to prevent this but I feel like there isn't enough being done uh to prevent this there should be more tools to like you know not making this possible hackers there's a lot of freaking hackers in events and in rooms like especially I I was in a call with one of my friends and they were streaming paintball you see someone flying across the map with the other flag and I'm like bro come on now hi I'm scosa I make videos the rec room has a bunch of hackers and it's primarily three categories there's Dogers account Stealers and general hackers these hackers are pretty easy to find if you're looking at the right places and they basically take away your freedom to play in some ways what do I mean they take away your freedom to play well doors can also manipulate how you act in Black mail or whatever it's very very very common it's not a good look for rec room it's not a good look for the community anything like that it's basically making rec room go down down and down people are scared of getting doxed and getting their accounts so one the hackers I have talked to a few of them for one of my next videos that I'm probably never going to upload because I'm too lazy they have told me that hacking it's easy you just have to click a few buttons it's really how rec room is made if the hackers can easily find a way to hack recroom isn't that developed in security I guess this whole concept of hacking really is putting rec room at a low State and just everything around some hackers can even delete popular rooms that really shows how recom security is not good at all they don't even need the players account they can just delete the rooms whenever they want Rec just has to up their security up how everything thing and players have always complain about it the moderation system is somehow really old and weird that players are just being able to spam or false report you multiple times until you actually get time outed or even banned I'm going to be honest I don't think players are getting banned that easily uh I do think if they get banned for you know spam and false reporting it often has something to do because they actually have done something before but those annoying timeouts where you get time out of for an hour or even like I don't know a whole day it's like really annoying especially if you're innocent and haven't done anything just because like a player base May don't like you or they try to bully you or whatever this has been a thing with uh many communities where a group gets together to like spam and false reporting other players and there's just not enough being done also think those situations should be handled stricter meaning giving those players who are false or spam reporting does a much longer ban at least a month I'm going tell you I know there's like a moderation system and it's based on points like the more bad stuff you do the longer your next ban will be and all that kind of stuff but I feel like this should be taken much stricter cuz uh many innocent players have been victims of false spam reporting and it just ruins the whole fun for those players and maybe they are even getting scared to get back on the game cuz they are being scared to get timed out again or even ban they're just scared about their account and I feel like it's understandable most players are just younger players and they just have the fear to uh lose their accounts you know and then there's also the issue that those players who fall to spam reports they're just going to come back after they ban and do the same thing again so I feel like it should be handled much stricter you know giving them much longer bands AI moderation I'mma tell you guys oh my God it's so bad when AI moderation was introduced I thought it was a good thing until I've seen what kind of things it does like oh my God I have my own experience if you don't know I already took the video down and I don't think I'm going to publish it again but basically I got banned once you know why you know why I made a Skiby shirt I made a shirt with a character saying un skib and apparently I did get one but I didn't notice all right I don't know why but those warnings are not noticeable at least mine wasn't noticeable and I tried to create this shirt again and then I got banned this is how easy you can get banned for a uncy shirt I must be fair though ream did give me a warning but again I did not notice I feel like it should be more noticeable by the way the I thought it was a middle finger that's the reason why I got banned and if you don't know I have a clean moderation history I never got banned I am a active volunteer moderator I've been an active player for over 5 years I've been in this community a long time and I do have a clean moderation hisory otherwise I won't be here anymore so yeah I got F spent by the AI another thing I experienced with AI moderation is on rec room studio and if you use rec room Studio you'll probably know the issue whenever you try to upload a room picture if you don't know there's a AI moderation that will check your image right if it's you know NSFW or G or whatever right it's still so bad I have tried several days several hours several nights to upload a single image if you're not sure about which one you guys see this image you guys see this room image that's the image I tried to upload it's just a game image that already took in game but you know edit a bit different you know uh making the colors brighter and all that stuff making a border it took me not going to lie over 3 days to get it uploaded I tried three days several hours to just upload this one image and I tried to do different images I I I changed the image always like a little bit like I added this I Chang that I tried to put the same image in and I tried different variations and it never worked cuz the a moderation I don't know for what reason but it just prevents you from uploading it it always timeouts it always timeouts the AI moderation always timeouts when it tries to check your image always and I already asked in the rec room Studio Discord server if someone can help me out cuz like it made me insane and literally no one was able to help me there was just one guy telling me the best way to do is just upload the image as a Sprite image like a Sprite object on Rec studio and then take a picture of it in game that's how horrible the AI moderation is another thing why the AI moderation is terrible is by voice band if you're watching this video I'm pretty sure 80% of you guys have been voice bin already the AI moderation for voice bins is so terrible cuz you can say the most craziest stuff but all you have to do is just muffle in your mic like I can say I can say the crazy stuff but as long as I say like then it's fine then it's fine people will understand you but the AI moderation won't understand you all right but you can say something harmless to someone or even say something completely different the a moderation will still think you just said something crazy and then you'll get voice band and yes Steph will check if your voice band was appropriate or not but that's still no solution you already got voice band if a player gets falsely voice BN do you think they just going to start continue playing no they are annoying they're just going to leave the game and I don't know play fortnite it's like those small things that will just annoy a player or make them upset like this thing I'm upset right now what the fuck but yeah it upsets players they are not happy if they get falsely banned or time out or whatever or voice band um it's those small things that will just ruin someone's experience completely and they just don't want to continue playing I also feel like it's pretty strange how players are able to mute others block others and even report them and you're still going to voice Bend those players I feel like you guys had already the perfect tools um if someone is saying some crazy stuff the other player who feels harassed they can just you know mute them block them and even report them if it's you know that crazy but handing out automated voice bins and then maybe even getting a innocent player voice B I feel like that's crazy I feel like this should just be removed completely I'm saying this even though it gets improved I still feel like it's something that that be in the game what's up I'm Nick let's talk about rec room rec room yappen so first let's start off with artificial intelligence voice Banning people immorally so first of all when you have an AI system taking away somebody's freedom of speech because of voice bands that is immoral and not even allowed even rec rooms own blog post states that their AI detection software is even incorrect when voice Banning people now there's been hundreds of reports of Miss voice bands they're releasing features that aren't quite ready yet like the AI moderation system that we have in place most of the time it's very Incorrect and many people get banned for no reason even though they didn't do anything wrong while the people who did do things who like kind of mutter under their breath and that AI doesn't understand it they get away with it perfectly fine it's a concept that's great but poorly like executed in rec room itself and in I can't talk to no one half the time cuz I'm voice banned always I say anything I'm voice ban I'm they could be saying NW and like everything else and the game just lets them be like anybody else has one thing like one little swe they get a voice ban next one overpriced items it's crazy it's insane it's ridiculous how expensive fre makes a few items they making stuff 40,000 tokens 20,000 tokens 10,000 tokens 15,000 tokens in the past the average price for item was like 500 tokens you know how much it is right now at least 6,000 oh my God I'm going to remind you guys 5,000 tokens is already 10 bucks by way guys have you seen the new pants have you seen the new pants in the store let me show you real quick let me show you real quick it's funny guys let me tell you this one it's funny also food items 900 tokens 900 tokens 720 tokens I remember when cakes came out and players were already complaining how expensive they are those are consumables food items why are you guys making them so expensive they aren't cosmetic items but whatever right let me show you guys the new pens in the store you see those you see those leggings of the eclipse 15,000 tokens again 5,000 tokens were 10 bucks this pants this pair of pant is 30 bucks without Recon plus 30 whole bucks same goes to the shoes 30 bucks and another thing they putting the limited time tick on every single item they're bringing out 40 days what do you mean limited it's fuck 40 days where is it limited it's over a month I do get it if you put a limited tag if the item is only going to stay for 7 days you know so players already know like oh this item is going to disappear let me buy it maybe real quick I I think that's fine but 45 days or even four collaboration items you want to see you want to see don't get me wrong those are collaboration items I do get by they kind of expensive and unlimited but I don't understand why you can put the limited tag on an item for example the hman set all right first of all this thing is also 30 bucks for Justin too all right it's it's a collaboration if you're a big fan maybe you're going to buy it 200 days 192 days and you want to tell me this is limited you know how many days of years this is like half a year oh my god look we all know collaboration items may be limited but at least put the limited tag on the last s days and not when there's still like 200 days left to get it or 4 the other items 40 days is over month what you mean limited your player base is going to be limited and again the token prices are so insane look at this this new set don't get me wrong it's a cool set it's really well made all right but the head is 5,000 the necklace is 3,500 the Torso is over 5,000 the skirt is over 5,000 the shoes are over 5,000 again 5,000 tokens is 10 bucks you want to tell me this is over 10 bucks over 10 bucks over 10 bucks uh around seven eight bucks maybe and then another 10 bucks this set is close to 50 bucks again 50 bucks for low poly items again those items are really well made they are good they are good but the prices are not understandable they milk the s law the The Forbidden law every kind of law they milked it so hard to make really whack events but especially especially making expensive items 15,000 tokens for that makes you look like an onion again 30 bucks for this one the Torso also 15,000 without recom plus another 30 bucks this scar 9,000 tokens over 10 bucks it's 20 bucks this one 30 bucks this one 30 bucks you see what I'm saying it's so expensive I've never seen a game making items cosmetic items whatever skins so damn expensive for the most bare minimum items you guys want to make more money you you want to make items more expensive and I guess that's fair cuz in the past it was really cheap it was really cheap and I get it why you kind of want to make it more expensive but those prices are not not good at all they are so expensive look I do have tokens I still have over 30,000 tokens but even for me those items are so expensive let's not talk about a normal player who doesn't make tokens with bre room who just plays the game and maybe buys a few tokens sometimes let's look at the token bundles 2,500 tokens is already five bucks 5,500 tokens is already 10 bucks 12,000 tokens is already 20 bucks and 35,000 tokens is 50 bucks you see what I'm saying if alone just two items two new items one is 50,000 already all right it's already 30,000 just for two items you have to spend this much 50 bucks for Just Two items prices are insane and it seems like it doesn't matter how often the community complains about it cuz obviously it's way too much you guys don't listen prices are going up up up but we're getting less what the you guys are only making cosmetic items and again they do look good they are not bad but you making them way too expensive there there are only two solutions and I think those are pretty easy to do one would be just lower the prices we get it you want to make you want to sell them for more to make more money we get it there's also work behind it right but the prices are still way too much no one is going to spend 30 bucks just for one single item and I don't know where you look at it if you look at this that's how room creators are making tokens they can buy the items but I'm pretty sure most creators just want to cash all their tokens but you also have to look at the normal players your main Community they ain't making that much tokens they don't make runes they just play the game and have to suffer by Crazy Prices and yes this game is free but again the prices are way too crazy uh either make the prices lower or give more tokens of hey skiy fans welcome welcome back to another Rix video and let me lock in real quick all right well in today's little you know clip and stuff like that I'm here to talk about overpriced items instead of rec room and honestly I don't know how recro can come up with these prices sometimes like some of the prices that we've had for some items inside of rec room are just egregious 10 to like 15 to 20K of tokens for items is insane and these will be items that aren't even like you know special items these will just be items that are either for lore or maybe just you know just to put out for the weekly I cover a lot of weeklys and stuff like that and I see a lot of these prices and honestly I don't agree with a lot of them it shouldn't be 8 to 10K for like a shirt or pants or something like that if it's super casual or just has a cool little graphic design on it I I don't get how ream thinks they can make money like that and maybe they do make money now but I feel like there's a balance between token prices and like people buying the actual item I feel like if they lowered prices getting more people to buy would generate them more Revenue it's as simple it's the simple you know laws of supply and demand if you guys don't see a lot of you know demand for that actual item maybe you should just lower the token value of it and if you see a lot of demand for it higher the token value or whatever you think the ETC is but I honestly don't know now all of this is just coming from the heart I should have started with that first I have no data to support any of this or anything like that but my data is just the prices that we've been seeing recently now I will admit rec room recently has been seeing the feedback about the community and thinking about the prices are a little too high so they've calmed down on the prices for you know casual items and stuff like that but when it comes to like special promotion items I feel like those are the only items that should be you know 10 to 15,000 tokens like if it's like a collab item from like Crocs or something and they decide to make Croc shoes or something if those are like 15 to 20 tokens I wouldn't even be surprised because Crocs in real life are just egregiously priced for plastic so like I get that making sense but the fact that like ream sometimes when we had that astronaut set I want to talk about when it was like 100,000 tokens I have no idea what ream was thinking then I I have no idea it's insane anyways I feel like most of the people inside the community can agree that there is some Middle Ground between the recording price scene and the amount of people that are going to buy it so when it comes to an expensive item that you see inside the game complain about that price and don't buy it the only way we'll be able to you know actually make change when it comes to prices and stuff like that is if we don't buy the expensive items they release because they're expensive no man in their right mind is going to release you know a product that is expensive for no one to buy if no one's buying it so I feel like what makes you know reom have these super expensive prices are the fact that people are buying it little hot take here but it's cool to have every item in the game but if it's like an expensive item you're like telling rec room that you want them to release more items like that if you buy it it sucks so advocate for cheaper items and uh yeah I think I've taken up my time here anyways hope you guys enjoyed this this bit bye and Rix I love you the Rec Community has told recom to decrease their prices a lot but RAC just keeps making the prices extremely expensive and I've noticed that prices now range from like 7,000 to 15,000 tokens per item which is uh crazy for an average player like token prices are really high so if you want to buy like 12,000 tokens it's $20 um and with that you can get like one or two items Max the items now are just targeted at Big creators that make millions of tokens like every week so it doesn't allow regular casual players to like fully enjoy and customize their character and and enjoy Rec honestly I hate the prices I get you know this is a free game but like 20 what 20 bucks for the ghost bow I'm pretty sure that was more actually prices are absurd also I hate how they remove bundles like bundle deals where you would get a clothing item and tokens for a good deal the fact that they removed that a long time ago just pissed me off next Point removing fun things we all know it double shot was removed everyone was mad about double shot was a buck in the past that has been even fixed after but players just wanted it back the community wanted back cuz it was a great feature it was a great buck everyone enjoyed it and the recom death team they brought it back and now they remove removing it completely after so many years after years of having it I don't see the reason for removing the doubl shot while you're not even updating any quests there aren't any updates on quests so why do you fix this bug for most players it wasn't even a bug it was a feature but yeah it really ruined the fun for many's especially uh players who play with the bow it was a unnecessary uh change and no one sees the the reason for movie that especially since you guys don't even update quests the next thing are weeklys this is pretty recent everyone is still mad about this one of the reasons is because only 0.2% of the players completed the challenges H that's interesting did you guys know they changed the weeklys and monthlies and players didn't even know when the monthlies are out yeah why did only 0.2% of the active players complete the challenges let me let me think about it obviously because players did either not know or the skin was so terrible that they don't even wanted to complete it to get it I remember there was one time where a black bandana came out it's just it's it's crazy what and the reason for that was apparently because they are working on a new weekly system and in general they were changing weeklys to monthlies because they wanted to work on the weekly system and uh instead of working on it uh 2 years has have passed and all happened uh is just to remove the the whole weekly the other reason was because the code was way too old and uh they weren't able to um put any new challenges it got repetitive so you guys said two years and you said at the beginning already you're going to change it monthlies but you're going to work on the weeklys and then bring it back how it should be right with new skin with a new system but after two years you just removed the whole weekly and now you're saying oh not enough players have completed them the the system was way too old you guys see the issue but instead of fix it you're just going to remove it I don't know it's like a kick in the face you guys are literally saying what's the issue oh not enough players are doing them anymore H let's think about why are not players doing them anymore maybe because you we are getting bad skins maybe because players don't even know when it's going to come out also you remove the weekly box maybe some players remember but there was a weekly box in your D room re removed it and the only way to see a weekly skin was in the rec center same thing off so with the community board they removed the community board in the DM uh in the dorm room and the only way to see it was in the rec center on this little corner where uh barely anyone goes to so there's that um removing weeklys they seeing the issues they know what's the problem but instead of fixing it even though they had fuck two years they did not fix it and even the last weekly was just a joke and apparently it was even confirmed that they did not think through it they did not prepare a item for the weekly and instead they just have put boots in there and those boots were apparently to come out in the store but since they didn't had anything prepared for the weekly they just brought the boots in there I already complained about it and uh it was said it wasn't random it was decided to put to use those exact boots but it still seems pretty random especially those are winter boots what are they doing in the last weekly in summer hello everyone this is en Jed Ruth and I'm going to talk about the weeklys so I remember back in 2019 before I started YouTube I would get on rec room to play paintball and then I found weeklys and it became my reason for playing in the game and since I still had school rec room was my award for completing a certain amount of school in a day it was something that I constantly look forward to and because it was a weekly I could just like do part of the tasks part of the checklist and then get off and do it in another day it was like the perfect setup for that state of life that I was in and then as I started doing YouTube and started getting friends all this and that um I always looked forward to the rec tuber live streams of playing the weekly and all of that and I would do the weekly with my friends or still by myself and then I started to live stream it also and it was always like the perfect setup for a live stream to just say hey we have this checklist here's something that everyone wants to go for and these are the games we're going to do and because they were skins it was always something to look forward to in the last couple of years that we had the weeklys there was a whole bunch of repeats and people got very frustrated with that because it was something that a lot of players already had it wasn't worth playing for though it did make perfect sense that there was a lot of new players that greatly desired to have that skin as well but with the concern of reim raising the prices of things and putting a whole bunch of stuff under a pay wall when they turned the weeklys into monthlies and then started selling the Skins not only did that become frustrating that you had to pay for the skin but it also took away from the Journey of earning the skin that's one of the big things about the weeklys it was a journey to earn something that you desired and hopefully it was also good for retention for Rack Room for players coming back to get that skin and staying long for that skin now ream says that their big reason to take it away was because a very small portion now go for the weeklys well what do you expect you took away the weekly corner you don't advertise it much I do remember when rec room tried to do YouTube shorts to advertise the Skins so they did try to do some effort but it wasn't consistent just in general for a lot of players that have been here for longer than 4 years seeing rec room change from what they knew it to be hurts it's a lot I don't know or don't remember what rec room said they would replace the weeklys with but it better be worth it or you just stabbed your players in the back I do not believe that rec room didn't have the lack of time to be able to continue to the weekly I do not believe that they even had the lack of Staff because they still make skins they still make skins but now you have to pay for it with tokens they could have still continued doing the weekly but they ch chose not to now I understand that they said that was an old system so update it do something okay remove it but then bring something more efficient back maybe if you want your community to be happy especially for the long term listen to them they're telling you what they want Not only was there a lack of advertising but because it became a monthly I personally would forget when the weekly would come most of the time it wasn't even worth it like the value of the weekly went down so people did not want to do the weekly so no duh there was a drop of people wanting to do the weekly because well you gave us bad weeklys and stretched them apart so far that people would even forget to go for them okay that's all I'm going to say for now I'm sure there's more that I could say and I'm sure there's a lot more that the community would want to say so please breakroom players share your thoughts down in the comments below and let your voice be heard rec room bad they took away my weekly uh I only go on rec room because weeklys and I hate this game because there's no more weeklys my hope my sole purpose is to play weeklys and they took they took away my weekly how am I supposed to get items when they're like 2,000 tokens I only have like two tokens on me I don't like rec room because a weekly okay bye next Point loal communication with the community we all know recum is a big game now it has a huge player base and of course the dev team won't be able to communicate with the players just like in the past but yeah um they haven't made amas for a really really long time but recently they have announced that they're going to make a new one so yeah let's look out for that uh let's hope it's going to be a good amae not updating actively play R Recon ons players to build their own rooms but I think one thing Recon could do to encourage more players to you know make good rooms it's just to update their actively play r r Royale is a really often play game in rec room and is a fan beloved game they have only brought one season out by the way this game came out in uh 2018 but they had only one season and said that they're going to make a new season every new season right so for summer fall winter and spring we did not see anything about in those years it has been 6 years now nothing of that has happened and I don't see why cuz um they did a update they made an update where they added more items and uh made the betterup pass a bit longer but I feel like they should really make a new season uh with new items it's even all right if they're going to make the hyped for oh we got a new season Rec Royale let's play some Rec Royale maybe some map changes small map changes is already enough to you know uh satisfy the community in some ways another thing that has been asked for many many many many many years are are new quests new quests and in one post it was said by gribbly that quests are really profitable right and that's why they are not focusing on making quests and trying to do other things and I'm going to say this how can you make a collaboration with teenage ninja turtles by the way it it is not a experience it is not a game it was literally a quest what you guys made and you were able to make it profitable right you were able to a currency that you can give out for you know items or you just buy the currency there's the profit aable side right and I feel like the same thing could you do in a new Quest you can just make a new quest with new items with new enemies whatever and also make it profitable with currency same thing was also made and make it to midnight I don't see where's the issue it can be profitable yeah it is it is profitable make a new Quest that is fun with new items and you can buy those items with the currency and you can buy the currency this is the best way to make a new Quest that players are waiting for years and still make it profitable I don't see the issue same thing goes to new maps paintball has how many I think paintball has eight Maps but laser tech only has two I feel like there should be new maps to make it fun again uh cuz otherwise it just get it gets boring of some time I also feel like you can show off what you can do with the makeup pen all the things if you update specific Rec originals and I feel like it will also motivate other creators to make new rooms but instead of that you're just going to make new Rec originals and then you are not going to update them anytime soon uh best example make it to midnight make it to midnight was so hyped even the trailer has lots of views and you guys still haven't updated it why have you guys not added a new perk or even a new map that would be crazy but small things like a new perk you know or maybe a new enemy instead bony the clown maybe I don't know something else you know uh I feel like there was so many possibilities for you guys but instead of doing that uh you just moved on you know it's like oh we are done with this let's move on with with the next thing by doing this you're just letting the other things just rot and die recently my little monsters came out and I think it was a really wellmade Rec original I just don't think this Rec original will be staying alive for too long cuz uh I'm pretty sure it's just going to die again like the other games I feel like instead of just moving on onto the next re Room original you should maybe just update other bof R Originals um if you have any new tools make a new map for this specific recom original Implement those tools in there recom Originals have not gotten updated in years and this was resulted in a ton of people quitting the game simply because their favorite Rec Originals like laser tag paintball and even Rec rally have simply been left in the dust the updates to Crimson cauldron and their new outfits were a good start however I think a lot of people want new maps for recck Originals like rck rally paintball and Laser Tag as well as possibly new weapons for those Rec Originals no active events or contests uh I feel like contest and events was a big thing for the community where they where they engage with the game and get together and all that stuff and I feel like it's a really missing part they are they have recently started a AR contest but it's also ridiculous we have waited for so long to get a new contest but the Torso is a default torso with the art rec room art logo again in Black or dark ray and it seems like it has been such a long time and what's even worse is the price you get only 2,500 tokens for your artwork if you even win you know how much that is exactly five bucks yo guys put in hours for your artwork just to get tokens worth of five bucks and they lose each her but in general I feel like they should make more contest again more events uh engage with the community uh give everyone something to look out for you know to do something in this game um yeah what's good y'all it's your boy slat and I'm here to talk about the rec room YouTube channel and how they ain't posting no more yeah so as you know back in the day ream used to have so much amazing content on the YouTube channel bro they were posting like challenges and battles and like art showcases man they got AMA like every month highlights and things like that memes events like something that was really outstanding to me was the rec Olympics like that was actually hype bro uh I wasn't going to say but today if you look at the YouTube channel you'll see that they are straight lacking bro they got nothing on this channel bro a lot of this is contributing to just you know not many people watching reom on YouTube if the actual channel is not really posting anything on YouTube how would they expect you know YouTubers and stuff to stay motivated to post stuff too so uh I think that's a huge thing ream should change you know add a little bit more stuff to the YouTube and what really sucks is they're posting to their Instagram they're posting to the Tik Tok they're posting to X but they're not posting to YouTube man on the low rec room tripping low low quality rooms I'm pretty sure you all have seen it there are so many low quality rooms right now and I feel like it has something to do because contest AR there anymore cuz contests were a good way to like show off your room and make some tokens right but they are not a thing anymore so now players are trying to make lowquality rooms and they kind of try to spam it and all that kind of stuff and hopes to make more tokens and more money and I feel like the thing that is even worse about it that it often gets featured on the new or hot tab so apparently they have a fix for the new tab or at least they're doing something about it but I feel like it's a big issue for the hot tab I feel like if a room is qualified for the Hot Tab because you know many players are joining it many players are cheering it and all that kind of stuff uh I feel like it should always be moderated first before it gets WID listed for the Hot Tab cuz the Hot Tab is probably the most watched tab it's a big risk to just put a room in the Hot Tab and then at the end it's like a inappropriate room or something that shouldn't be there it should be moderated first you know and then decide if it should be Wireless for the hot same thing goes also to shirts it's still a thing that sometimes inappropriate shirts are being in the trending Community shirts if some is getting pretty popular right now and qualifies for the trendy tab or the Hot Tab it should be moderated first before it gets even there cuz it's a tab where most players are going to see it you know next Point future invention do is not being updated the good old days it has been such a long time where we we have featured venance and D skins and also the venance tower I forgot to mention that but um the program has just been stopped uh for unknown reasons at least I haven't heard about the reasons um I'm just going to guess it is a lot of work and I do kind of see it but I feel like except of just completely stopping it maybe do it monthly instead of every week if you don't know I was a avention maker I made uh lots of inventions I got often featured on the uh featured invention Tab and I make quite a few tokens uh that I was able to basically cash out every single month it was pretty cool it was pretty nice um and I feel like it was a good way to you know show off work of other creators you know um to get the names out there and also the inventions and also earn some tokens but they stop with the feature Dom skins and feature inventions and also invention Tower I think the bigger problem is not them stopping the program the bigger problem is just to leave the tab there and leaving the last featured inent itions Dom skins and also in the invention to the last theme they have left those inventions there for years now and those craters are just going to make more tokens more tokens more tokens of doing nothing I don't have anything against those craters they are not doing anything wrong it's just the team itself for stopping the program and not even removing the tabs they just left it there because it probably makes tokens it probably makes money maybe it doesn't even but like uh those crators are just going to earn more tokens though entire time without really doing anything it's really for players who constantly making new stuff trying to you know spread the name spread their work you know show off their stuff fure invention and Dom skin tab is there but like it doesn't get updated next Point room rewards room worlds is so terrible guys I'm going to tell you uh I don't know exactly how it was in the past um but it it was pretty much easy before the players were even able to just stay AFK and make bunch of tokens and I do see why can change that so basically if you don't know uh to make tokens you have to get bunch of players all right bunch of players to spend at least 120 Minutes that's 2 hours for every individual player exactly it doesn't count as the whole play time it doesn't count on how many players have spent a specific amount of time right it depends on individual players meaning you can have a million players but if everyone is just going to say like 10 minutes it doesn't do anything you won't get room rewards but let's say you get like 500 players but everyone is staying for 2 hours then you'll be uh eligible for the room rewards and I feel like this is a really dumb system it is it is a dumb system there's also the Commerce category and basically what it does is how how many tokens have been spent in your room right and this is also St stupid cuz it's also 2,500 tokens for individual players meaning this individual player has to spend 2,500 tokens in your room and it got to be at least like 500 players until you are eligible for the room rewards for room 2.0 you can already get room rewards for low amount of um players doing those kind of stuff you know uh spending 2 hours or spending 2,500 tokens but again the room rewards system is still terrible right now level system being pointless everyone who's active is probably already at level 50 and other than that it's just pointless you get a few boxes that's cool you you get rewards for um reaching a level but it caps a level 50 and in general the level system doesn't make any sense I'm going to be honest giving out rewards for spending specific amount of times in rec room could be a thing but not a level system I feel like one thing I I did mention via before but I feel like one thing that via does better than recro is having a uh trusted level that fits much much more into a social game than a goofy game level system that doesn't even do anything just shows off that you have spent lots of time in this game I guess but in a unnecessary way what Viet does is they got the um visitor new user user known user and trusted user Rank and I feel like Reon could do something similar or at least change the level system somehow but just being stuck at level 50 is stupid the code also just increase the level cap again I do feel like the level system is pointless or at least should be different somehow and now it's also very confusing if you go into like a room that has their own level system it's like they got their own level system you know hi my name is Amna I'm Arab R tuber I would like to talk about the current issue with the current level system in rec room which the maximum level cap to 50 uh actually it may cause lack of motivation I mean player may feel demotivated once they reach the current level cap and also limited progression a finite level cap restricts long-term engagement and the sense of achievement and I really hope one day they make it an endless progression which is allowing player to continue leveling up indefinitely so question is why re room should increase level cap more than 15 it's because leveling system in R room serves to motivate players to engage more deeply with the game explore different activities and interact with other while earning rewards along the way so increasing the level cap can rejuvenate a player interest and long-term goals it will help more Dynamic and motivating experience for all players in rec room so if you have any points or comment about it you can write it down in comments so hope Rec will consider it and Y let's go to the next one Rec updates equals bucks what I'm saying with this is every single time a rec room brings out an update there's another bug and I know this is a normal thing for games that there are new bugs every single update but one thing that rec room sticks out with the updates is that most updates are just gamebreaking and I feel like recom is just bringing out too many updates they shouldn't bring out every single week a new update that brings out five new bucks that completely breaks the game and fun for others I feel like they should maybe make it like every single month and have enough time to like test those updates you know so they can prevent more bucks to come out you know and not making the game unplayable for others the updates that ream is shipping out are not being tested well enough this should be completely changed please test your updates oh my God one thing I want to address is rooms 2.0 I know that recm really wants to like give off this idea that rooms 2.0 is something that is the new Innovative way to create rooms however it's definitely not the reason why is because it completely breaks rooms and there's been nothing but bug reports and many different things that obviously give the impression the rooms 2.0 isn't actually something that we should rely on yet on top of that room rewards right room rewards is relying on rooms 2.0 I don't think this should have been done either and then going on for like onwards from that limits V2 limits V2 being removed that was the worst Choice recm could have ever have done I know that when we go to the event V page and we go join militaries that they have in like limits V2 rooms that like really laggy and completely out of like proportion when it comes to Ink don't get me wrong we all hate them but like that was still a really bad idea but my biggest complaint will be rooms 2.0 out of any single thing on this game it will be rooms 2.0 remove rooms 2.0 remove God it&#39;s so trash we all know the new I it&#39;s so buggy we still have performance issues till this day it&#39;s been how long years already be just opening your watch like I I I can just go to the people I&#39;ll be lagging out like I&#39;m I&#39;m every single time something loads I I I&#39;ll be freezed for a second it&#39;s been years now Rec still has a huge performance issue um same thing goes to the streamer cam whenever you pick up the streamer cam it&#39;s just laggy like obviously it&#39;s not much cuz like in this room there&#39;s nothing right now I&#39;m not going to show but there here is nothing you know I&#39;m just standing still so I guess it&#39;s going to be fine with this room cam but it doesn&#39;t matter where else you go be the Rex be Rec Royale you&#39;re going to lag out in any room with the streamer cam it&#39;s it hasn&#39;t gotten better in never it never hasn&#39;t got better it is still so laggy and performance taking for such a low poly game guys do you see my head you see my head how the am I lagging it&#39;s really questionable cuz if you look into vret as a comparison since V is also a social game you can load up many fully loaded avatars in many different words pick up the camera or even the video camera I I don&#39;t know what&#39;s the difference but I guess there&#39;s a difference and you experience zero lag zero lag you may experience lag if you load up a others that takes much performance but everything else it doesn&#39;t lag I I don&#39;t get how how is there a big difference especially when it&#39;s about the cameras you both both games are made on Unity how&#39;s the big change another issue with the streamer cam is also whenever you turn on the streamer cam you cannot turn it off cuz if you do turn it off there will be a frozen screen that you cannot close cuz if you&#39;re going to close it the whole game will be closed meaning you either turn the streamer cam off and you&#39;ll have a frozen screen the whole time meaning if you record something or you want to clip something it won&#39;t work for you cuz the only thing that is being shown is a frozen screen or if you want to turn off the streamer C but still want to record something or clip something you have to restart the whole game big performance issue with recom since ever and again it&#39;s a low po game look at my avatar I have a egg head I have a I have a square body I have Lego hands so yeah there&#39;s that um by the way guys H Coro and Rec even though I&#39;m like rening about Rec you know you still got to use R cuz it supports me for free you know you you go onto my profile press the orange support button or just go onto your profile press use code and then type in rux supports me a lot real talk my first noted issue yeah the performance issue it was a not but the first noted issues are many hackers I don&#39;t know if You&#39; have seen it before I&#39;m joking you probably have seen it there are so many hackers in rec room currently it doesn&#39;t matter where you go it can be a any event or any active room all the reender You&#39;ll Always Find a hacker I don&#39;t really think it&#39;s Rec room&#39;s full but how can there be so many hackers in this game there are much more than any other game that I know that also use anti obviously hackers are going to find new loopholes to like hack in the game or whatever um I think ream will always struggle with that but one thing ream should do is think of like new tools ways for players to prevent those moments obviously you cannot do much in the rec center but let&#39;s say you have your own room and you want to prevent people from hacking it right how can this be possible that a hacker can just delete your room or spawn in the makeup pen or whatever I&#39;m pretty sure re room should be able to like kind of fce permissions on players know and being not able to like spawn in the makeup and and do stuff you know so currently it doesn&#39;t feel like re is doing enough to prevent hackers and I feel like it&#39;s a big factor why re is like being really unsatisfying for the player base cuz when there&#39;s a heck on they ruin your fun be like you you&#39;re playing something right you don&#39;t want to continue playing cuz you are just annoyed about those hackers especially if you meet them several times today and then on the next day and then on the next day you get what I mean players are just going to be annoyed they don&#39;t want to go into public rooms anymore they just want to do something private or they just completely don&#39;t play the game and play something else where they want me a hacker every single instance I do know ream is trying to prevent this but I feel like there isn&#39;t enough being done uh to prevent this there should be more tools to like you know not making this possible hackers there&#39;s a lot of freaking hackers in events and in rooms like especially I I was in a call with one of my friends and they were streaming paintball you see someone flying across the map with the other flag and I&#39;m like bro come on now hi I&#39;m scosa I make videos the rec room has a bunch of hackers and it&#39;s primarily three categories there&#39;s Dogers account Stealers and general hackers these hackers are pretty easy to find if you&#39;re looking at the right places and they basically take away your freedom to play in some ways what do I mean they take away your freedom to play well doors can also manipulate how you act in Black mail or whatever it&#39;s very very very common it&#39;s not a good look for rec room it&#39;s not a good look for the community anything like that it&#39;s basically making rec room go down down and down people are scared of getting doxed and getting their accounts so one the hackers I have talked to a few of them for one of my next videos that I&#39;m probably never going to upload because I&#39;m too lazy they have told me that hacking it&#39;s easy you just have to click a few buttons it&#39;s really how rec room is made if the hackers can easily find a way to hack recroom isn&#39;t that developed in security I guess this whole concept of hacking really is putting rec room at a low State and just everything around some hackers can even delete popular rooms that really shows how recom security is not good at all they don&#39;t even need the players account they can just delete the rooms whenever they want Rec just has to up their security up how everything works in general yeah yeah that&#39;s it uh by thanks yeah complain about it the moderation system is somehow really old and weird that players are just being able to spam or false report you multiple times until you actually get time outed or even banned I&#39;m going to be honest I don&#39;t think players are getting banned that easily uh I do think if they get banned for you know spam and false reporting it often has something to do because they actually have done something before but those annoying timeouts where you get time out of for an hour or even like I don&#39;t know a whole day it&#39;s like really annoying especially if you&#39;re innocent and haven&#39;t done anything just because like a player base May don&#39;t like you or they try to bully you or whatever this has been a thing with uh many communities where a group gets together to like spam and false reporting other players and there&#39;s just not enough being done also think those situations should be handled stricter meaning giving those players who are false or spam reporting does a much longer ban at least a month I&#39;m going tell you I know there&#39;s like a moderation system and it&#39;s based on points like the more bad stuff you do the longer your next ban will be and all that kind of stuff but I feel like this should be taken much stricter cuz uh many innocent players have been victims of false spam reporting and it just ruins the whole fun for those players and maybe they are even getting scared to get back on the game cuz they are being scared to get timed out again or even ban they&#39;re just scared about their account and I feel like it&#39;s understandable most players are just younger players and they just have the fear to uh lose their accounts you know and then there&#39;s also the issue that those players who fall to spam reports they&#39;re just going to come back after they ban and do the same thing again so I feel like it should be handled much stricter you know giving them much longer bands AI moderation I&#39;mma tell you guys oh my God it&#39;s so bad when AI moderation was introduced I thought it was a good thing until I&#39;ve seen what kind of things it does like oh my God I have my own experience if you don&#39;t know I already took the video down and I don&#39;t think I&#39;m going to publish it again but basically I got banned once you know why you know why I made a Skiby shirt I made a shirt with a character saying un skib and apparently I did get one but I didn&#39;t notice all right I don&#39;t know why but those warnings are not noticeable at least mine wasn&#39;t noticeable and I tried to create this shirt again and then I got banned this is how easy you can get banned for a uncy shirt I must be fair though ream did give me a warning but again I did not notice I feel like it should be more noticeable by the way the I thought it was a middle finger that&#39;s the reason why I got banned and if you don&#39;t know I have a clean moderation history I never got banned I am a active volunteer moderator I&#39;ve been an active player for over 5 years I&#39;ve been in this community a long time and I do have a clean moderation hisory otherwise I won&#39;t be here anymore so yeah I got F spent by the AI another thing I experienced with AI moderation is on rec room studio and if you use rec room Studio you&#39;ll probably know the issue whenever you try to upload a room picture if you don&#39;t know there&#39;s a AI moderation that will check your image right if it&#39;s you know NSFW or G or whatever right it&#39;s still so bad I have tried several days several hours several nights to upload a single image if you&#39;re not sure about which one you guys see this image you guys see this room image that&#39;s the image I tried to upload it&#39;s just a game image that already took in game but you know edit a bit different you know uh making the colors brighter and all that stuff making a border it took me not going to lie over 3 days to get it uploaded I tried three days several hours to just upload this one image and I tried to do different images I I I changed the image always like a little bit like I added this I Chang that I tried to put the same image in and I tried different variations and it never worked cuz the a moderation I don&#39;t know for what reason but it just prevents you from uploading it it always timeouts it always timeouts the AI moderation always timeouts when it tries to check your image always and I already asked in the rec room Studio Discord server if someone can help me out cuz like it made me insane and literally no one was able to help me there was just one guy telling me the best way to do is just upload the image as a Sprite image like a Sprite object on Rec studio and then take a picture of it in game that&#39;s how horrible the AI moderation is another thing why the AI moderation is terrible is by voice band if you&#39;re watching this video I&#39;m pretty sure 80% of you guys have been voice bin already the AI moderation for voice bins is so terrible cuz you can say the most craziest stuff but all you have to do is just muffle in your mic like I can say I can say the crazy stuff but as long as I say like then it&#39;s fine then it&#39;s fine people will understand you but the AI moderation won&#39;t understand you all right but you can say something harmless to someone or even say something completely different the a moderation will still think you just said something crazy and then you&#39;ll get voice band and yes Steph will check if your voice band was appropriate or not but that&#39;s still no solution you already got voice band if a player gets falsely voice BN do you think they just going to start continue playing no they are annoying they&#39;re just going to leave the game and I don&#39;t know play fortnite it&#39;s like those small things that will just annoy a player or make them upset like this thing I&#39;m upset right now what the fuck but yeah it upsets players they are not happy if they get falsely banned or time out or whatever or voice band um it&#39;s those small things that will just ruin someone&#39;s experience completely and they just don&#39;t want to continue playing I also feel like it&#39;s pretty strange how players are able to mute others block others and even report them and you&#39;re still going to voice Bend those players I feel like you guys had already the perfect tools um if someone is saying some crazy stuff the other player who feels harassed they can just you know mute them block them and even report them if it&#39;s you know that crazy but handing out automated voice bins and then maybe even getting a innocent player voice B I feel like that&#39;s crazy I feel like this should just be removed completely I&#39;m saying this even though it gets improved I still feel like it&#39;s something that that be in the game what&#39;s up I&#39;m Nick let&#39;s talk about rec room rec room yappen so first let&#39;s start off with artificial intelligence voice Banning people immorally so first of all when you have an AI system taking away somebody&#39;s freedom of speech because of voice bands that is immoral and not even allowed even rec rooms own blog post states that their AI detection software is even incorrect when voice Banning people now there&#39;s been hundreds of reports of Miss voice bands they&#39;re releasing features that aren&#39;t quite ready yet like the AI moderation system that we have in place most of the time it&#39;s very Incorrect and many people get banned for no reason even though they didn&#39;t do anything wrong while the people who did do things who like kind of mutter under their breath and that AI doesn&#39;t understand it they get away with it perfectly fine it&#39;s a concept that&#39;s great but poorly like executed in rec room itself and in I can&#39;t talk to no one half the time cuz I&#39;m voice banned always I say anything I&#39;m voice ban I&#39;m they could be saying NW and like everything else and the game just lets them be like anybody else has one thing like one little swe they get a voice ban next one overpriced items it&#39;s crazy it&#39;s insane it&#39;s ridiculous how expensive fre makes a few items they making stuff 40,000 tokens 20,000 tokens 10,000 tokens 15,000 tokens in the past the average price for item was like 500 tokens you know how much it is right now at least 6,000 oh my God I&#39;m going to remind you guys 5,000 tokens is already 10 bucks by way guys have you seen the new pants have you seen the new pants in the store let me show you real quick let me show you real quick it&#39;s funny guys let me tell you this one it&#39;s funny also food items 900 tokens 900 tokens 720 tokens I remember when cakes came out and players were already complaining how expensive they are those are consumables food items why are you guys making them so expensive they aren&#39;t cosmetic items but whatever right let me show you guys the new pens in the store you see those you see those leggings of the eclipse 15,000 tokens again 5,000 tokens were 10 bucks this pants this pair of pant is 30 bucks without Recon plus 30 whole bucks same goes to the shoes 30 bucks and another thing they putting the limited time tick on every single item they&#39;re bringing out 40 days what do you mean limited it&#39;s fuck 40 days where is it limited it&#39;s over a month I do get it if you put a limited tag if the item is only going to stay for 7 days you know so players already know like oh this item is going to Justin too all right it&#39;s it&#39;s a collaboration if you&#39;re a big fan maybe you&#39;re going to buy it 200 days 192 days and you want to tell me this is limited you know how many days of years this is like half a year oh my god look we all know collaboration items may be limited but at least put the limited tag on the last s days and not when there&#39;s still like 200 days left to get it or 4 the other items 40 days is over month what you mean limited your player base is going to be limited and again the token prices are so insane look at this this new set don&#39;t get me wrong it&#39;s a cool set it&#39;s really well made all right but the head is 5,000 the necklace is 3,500 the Torso is over 5,000 the skirt is over 5,000 the shoes are over 5,000 again 5,000 tokens is 10 bucks you want to tell me this is over 10 bucks over 10 bucks over 10 bucks uh around seven eight bucks maybe and then another 10 bucks this set is close to 50 bucks again 50 bucks for low poly items again those items are really well made they are good they are good but the prices are not understandable they milk the s law the The Forbidden law every kind of law they milked it so hard to make really whack events but especially especially making expensive items 15,000 tokens for that makes you look like an onion again 30 bucks for this one the Torso also 15,000 without recom plus another 30 bucks this scar 9,000 tokens over 10 bucks it&#39;s 20 bucks this one 30 bucks this one 30 bucks you see what I&#39;m saying it&#39;s so expensive I&#39;ve never seen a game making items cosmetic items whatever skins so damn expensive for the most bare minimum items you guys want to make more money you you want to make items more expensive and I guess that&#39;s fair cuz in the past it was really cheap it was really cheap and I get it why you kind of want to make it more expensive but those prices are not not good at all they are so expensive look I do have tokens I still have over 30,000 tokens but even for me those items are so expensive let&#39;s not talk about a normal player who doesn&#39;t make tokens with bre room who just plays the game and maybe buys a few tokens sometimes let&#39;s look at the token bundles 2,500 tokens is already five bucks 5,500 tokens is already 10 bucks 12,000 tokens is already 20 bucks and 35,000 tokens is 50 bucks you see what I&#39;m saying if alone just two items two new items one is 50,000 already all right it&#39;s already 30,000 just for two items you have to spend this much 50 bucks for Just Two items prices are insane and it seems like it doesn&#39;t matter how often the community complains about it cuz obviously it&#39;s way too much you guys don&#39;t listen prices are going up up up but we&#39;re getting less what the you guys are only making cosmetic items and again they do look good they are not bad but you making them way too expensive there there are only two solutions and I think those are pretty easy to do one would be just lower the prices we get it you want to make you want to sell them for more to make more money we get it there&#39;s also work behind it right but the prices are still way too much no one is going to spend 30 bucks just for one single item and I don&#39;t know where you look at it if you look at this that&#39;s how room creators are making tokens they can buy the items but I&#39;m pretty sure most creators just want to cash all their tokens but you also have to look at the normal players your main Community they ain&#39;t making that much tokens they don&#39;t make runes they just play the game and have to suffer by Crazy Prices and yes this game is free but again the prices are way too crazy uh either make the prices lower or give more tokens of hey skiy fans welcome and honestly I don&#39;t know how recro can come up with these prices sometimes like some of the prices that we&#39;ve had for some items inside of rec room are just egregious 10 to like 15 to 20K of tokens for items is insane and these will be items that aren&#39;t even like you know special items these will just be items that are either for lore or maybe just you know just to put out for the weekly I cover a lot of weeklys and stuff like that and I see a lot of these prices and honestly I don&#39;t agree with a lot of them it shouldn&#39;t be 8 to 10K for like a shirt or pants or something like that if it&#39;s super casual or just has a cool little graphic design on it I I don&#39;t get how ream thinks they can make money like that and maybe they do make money now but I feel like there&#39;s a balance between token prices and like people buying the actual item I feel like if they lowered prices getting more people to buy would generate them more Revenue it&#39;s as simple it&#39;s the simple you know laws of supply and demand if you guys don&#39;t see a lot of you know demand for that actual item maybe you should just lower the token value of it and if you see a lot of demand for it higher the token value or whatever you think the ETC is but I honestly don&#39;t know now all of this is just coming from the heart I should have started with that first I have no data to support any of this or anything like that but my data is just the prices that we&#39;ve been seeing recently now I will admit rec room recently has been seeing the feedback about the community and thinking about the prices are a little too high so they&#39;ve calmed down on the prices for you know casual items and stuff like that but when it comes to like special promotion items I feel like those are the only items that should be you know 10 to 15,000 tokens like if it&#39;s like a collab item from like Crocs or something and they decide to make Croc shoes or something if those are like 15 to 20 tokens I wouldn&#39;t even be surprised because Crocs in real life are just egregiously priced for plastic so like I get that making sense but the fact that like ream sometimes when we had that astronaut set I want to talk about when it was like 100,000 tokens I have no idea what ream was thinking then I I have no idea it&#39;s insane anyways I feel like most of the people inside the community can agree that there is some Middle Ground between the recording price scene and the amount of people that are going to buy it so when it comes to an expensive item that you see inside the game complain about that price and don&#39;t buy it the only way we&#39;ll be able to you know actually make change when it comes to prices and stuff like that is if we don&#39;t buy the expensive items they release because they&#39;re expensive no man in their right mind is going to release you know a product that is expensive for no one to buy if no one&#39;s buying it so I feel like what makes you know reom have these super expensive prices are the fact that people are buying it little hot take here but it&#39;s cool to have every item in the game but if it&#39;s like an expensive item you&#39;re like telling rec room that you want them to release more items like that if you buy it it sucks so advocate for cheaper items and uh yeah I think I&#39;ve taken up my time here anyways that prices now range from like 7,000 to 15,000 tokens per item which is uh crazy for an average player like token prices are really high so if you want to buy like 12,000 tokens it&#39;s $20 um and with that you can get like one or two items Max the items now are just targeted at Big creators that make millions of tokens like every week so it doesn&#39;t allow regular casual players to like fully enjoy and customize their character and and enjoy Rec honestly I hate the prices I get you know this is a free game but like 20 what 20 bucks for the ghost bow I&#39;m pretty sure that was more actually prices are absurd also I hate how they remove bundles like bundle deals where you would get a clothing item and tokens for a good deal the fact that they removed that a long time ago just pissed me off next Point removing fun things we all know it double shot was removed everyone was mad about double shot was a buck in the past that has been even fixed after but players just wanted it back the community wanted back cuz it was a great feature it was a great buck everyone enjoyed it and the recom death team they brought it back and now they remove removing it completely after so many years after years of having it I don&#39;t see the reason for removing the doubl shot while you&#39;re not even updating any quests there aren&#39;t any updates on quests so why do you fix this bug for most players it wasn&#39;t even a bug it was a feature but yeah it really ruined the fun for many&#39;s especially uh players who play with the bow it was a unnecessary uh change and no one sees the the reason for movie that especially since you guys don&#39;t even update quests the next thing are weeklys this is pretty recent everyone is still mad about this one of the reasons is because only 0.2% of the players completed the challenges H that&#39;s interesting did you guys know they changed the weeklys and monthlies and players didn&#39;t even know when the monthlies are out yeah why did only 0.2% of the active players complete the challenges let me let me think about it obviously because players did either not know or the skin was so terrible that they don&#39;t even wanted to complete it to get it I remember there was one time where a black bandana came out it&#39;s just it&#39;s it&#39;s crazy what and the reason for that was apparently because they are working on a new weekly system and in general they were changing weeklys to monthlies because they wanted to work on the weekly system and uh instead of working on it uh 2 years has have passed and all happened uh is just to remove the the whole weekly the other reason was because the code was way too old and uh they weren&#39;t able to um put any new challenges it got repetitive so you guys said two years and you said at the beginning already you&#39;re going to change it monthlies but you&#39;re going to work on the weeklys and then bring it back how it should be right with new skin with a new system but after two years you just removed the whole weekly and now you&#39;re saying oh not enough players have completed them the the system was way too old you guys see the issue but instead of fix it you&#39;re just going to remove it I don&#39;t know it&#39;s like a kick in the face you guys are literally saying what&#39;s the issue oh not enough players are doing them anymore H let&#39;s think about why are not players doing them anymore maybe because you we are getting bad skins maybe because players don&#39;t even know when it&#39;s going to come out also you remove the weekly box maybe some players remember but there was a weekly box in your D room re removed it and the only way to see a weekly skin was in the rec center same thing off so with the community board they removed the community board in the DM uh in the dorm room and the only way to see it was in the rec center on this little corner where uh barely anyone goes to so there&#39;s that um removing weeklys they seeing the issues they know what&#39;s the problem but instead of fixing it even though they had fuck two years they did not fix it and even the last weekly was just a joke and apparently it was even confirmed that they did not think through it they did not prepare a item for the weekly and instead they just have put boots in there and those boots were apparently to come out in the store but since they didn&#39;t had anything prepared for the weekly they just brought the boots in there I already complained about it and uh it was said it wasn&#39;t random it was decided to put to use those exact boots but it still seems pretty random especially those are winter boots what are they doing in the last weekly in summer hello everyone this is en Jed Ruth and I&#39;m going to talk about the weeklys so I remember back in 2019 before I started YouTube I would get on rec room to play paintball and then I found weeklys and it became my reason for playing in the game and since I still had school rec room was my award for completing a certain amount of school in a day it was something that I constantly look forward to and because it was a weekly I could just like do part of the tasks part of the checklist and then get off and do it in another day it was like the perfect setup for that state of life that I was in and then as I started doing YouTube and started getting friends all this and that um I always looked forward to the rec tuber live streams of playing the weekly and all of that and I would do the weekly with my friends or still by myself and then I started to live stream it also and it was always like the perfect setup for a live stream to just say hey we have this checklist here&#39;s something that everyone wants to go for and these are the games we&#39;re going to do and because they were skins it was always something to look forward to in the last couple of years that we had the weeklys there was a whole bunch of repeats and people got very frustrated with that because it was something that a lot of players already had it wasn&#39;t worth playing for though it did make perfect sense that there was a lot of new players that greatly desired to have that skin as well but with the concern of reim raising the prices of things and putting a whole bunch of stuff under a pay wall when they turned the weeklys into monthlies and then started selling the Skins not only did that become frustrating that you had to pay for the skin but it also took away from the Journey of earning the skin that&#39;s one of the big things about the weeklys it was a journey to earn something that you desired and hopefully it was also good for retention for Rack Room for players coming back to get that skin and staying long for that skin now ream says that their big reason to take it away was because a very small portion now go for the weeklys well what do you expect you took away the weekly corner you don&#39;t advertise it much I do remember when rec room tried to do YouTube shorts to advertise the Skins so they did try to do some effort but it wasn&#39;t consistent just in general for a lot of players that have been here for longer than 4 years seeing rec room change from what they knew it to be hurts it&#39;s a lot I don&#39;t know or don&#39;t remember what rec room said they would replace the weeklys with but it better be worth it or you just stabbed your players in the back I do not believe that rec room didn&#39;t have the lack of time to be able to continue to the weekly I do not believe that they even had the lack of Staff because they still make skins they still make skins but now you have to pay for it with tokens they could have still continued doing the weekly but they ch chose not to now I understand that they said that was an old system so update it do something okay remove it but then bring something more efficient back maybe if you want your community to be happy especially for the long term listen to them they&#39;re telling you what they want Not only was there a lack of advertising but because it became a monthly I personally would forget when the weekly would come most of the time it wasn&#39;t even worth it like the value of the weekly went down so people did not want to do the weekly so no duh there was a drop of people wanting to do the weekly because well you gave us bad weeklys and stretched them apart so far that people would even forget to go for them okay that&#39;s all I&#39;m going to say for now I&#39;m sure there&#39;s more that I could say and I&#39;m sure there&#39;s a lot more that players to build their own rooms but I think one thing Recon could do to encourage more players to you know make good rooms it&#39;s just to update their actively play r r Royale is a really often play game in rec room and is a fan beloved game they have only brought one season out by the way this game came out in uh 2018 but they had only one season and said that they&#39;re going to make a new season every new season right so for summer fall winter and spring we did not see anything about in those years it has been 6 years now nothing of that has happened and I don&#39;t see why cuz um they did a update they made an update where they added more items and uh made the betterup pass a bit longer but I feel like they should really make a new season uh with new items it&#39;s even all right if they&#39;re going to make the batt pass a bit more expensive than it was now cuz like right now it&#39;s just 1,000 tokens uh I feel like something like uh I don&#39;t know 10,000 tokens would be fine for the new battle pass I feel like they should at least upd it somehow we we are not waiting for big updates we are not expecting anything huge but like those small things do Allah lot from players can look out for you know and be hyped for oh we got a new season Rec Royale let&#39;s play some Rec Royale maybe some map changes small map changes is already enough to you know uh satisfy the community in some ways another thing that has been asked for many many many many many years are are new quests new quests and in one post it was said by gribbly that quests are really profitable right and that&#39;s why they are not focusing on making quests and trying to do other things and I&#39;m going to say this how can you make a collaboration with teenage ninja turtles by the way it it is not a experience it is not a game it was literally a quest what you guys made and you were able to make it profitable right you were able to a currency that you can give out for you know items or you just buy the currency there&#39;s the profit aable side right and I feel like the same thing could you do in a new Quest you can just make a new quest with new items with new enemies whatever and also make it profitable with currency same thing was also made and make it to midnight I don&#39;t see where&#39;s the issue it can be profitable yeah it is it is profitable make a new Quest that is fun with new items and you can buy those items with the currency and you can buy the currency this is the best way to make a new Quest that players are waiting for years and still make it profitable I don&#39;t see the issue same thing goes to new maps paintball has how many I think paintball has eight Maps but laser tech only has two I feel like there should be new maps to make it fun again uh cuz otherwise it just get it gets boring of some time I also feel like you can show off what you can do with the makeup pen all the things if you update specific Rec originals and I feel like it will also motivate other creators to make new rooms but instead of that you&#39;re just going to make new Rec originals and then you are not going to update them anytime soon uh best example make it to midnight make it to midnight was so hyped even the trailer has lots of views and you guys still haven&#39;t updated it why have you guys not added a new perk or even a new map that would be crazy but small things like a new perk you know or maybe a new enemy instead bony the clown maybe I don&#39;t know something else you know uh I feel like there was so many possibilities for you guys new tools make a new map for this specific recom original Implement those tools in there recom Originals have not gotten updated in years and this was resulted in a ton of people quitting the game simply because their favorite Rec Originals like laser tag paintball and even Rec rally have simply been left in the dust the updates to Crimson cauldron and their new outfits were a good start however I think a lot of people want new maps for recck Originals like rck rally paintball and Laser Tag as well as possibly new weapons for those Rec Originals no active events or contests uh I feel like contest and events was a big thing for the community where they where they engage with the game and get together and all that stuff and I feel like it&#39;s a really missing part they are they have recently started a AR contest but it&#39;s also ridiculous we have waited for so long to get a new contest but the Torso is a default torso with the art rec room art logo again in Black or dark ray and it seems like it has been such a long time and what&#39;s even worse is the price you get only 2,500 tokens for your artwork if you even win you know how much that is exactly five bucks yo guys put in hours for your artwork just to get tokens worth of five bucks and they lose each her but in general I feel like they should make more contest again more events uh engage with the community and how they ain&#39;t posting no more yeah so as you know back in the day ream used to have so much amazing content on the YouTube channel bro they were posting like challenges and battles and like art showcases man they got AMA like every month highlights and things like that memes events like something that was really outstanding to me was the rec Olympics like that was actually hype bro uh I wasn&#39;t going to say but today if you look at the YouTube channel you&#39;ll see that they are straight lacking bro they got nothing on this channel bro a lot of this is contributing to just you know not many people watching reom on YouTube if the actual channel is not really posting anything on YouTube how would they expect you know YouTubers and stuff to stay motivated to post stuff too so uh I think that&#39;s a huge thing ream should change you know add a little bit more stuff to the YouTube and what really sucks is they&#39;re posting to their Instagram they&#39;re posting to the Tik Tok they&#39;re posting to X but they&#39;re not posting to YouTube man on the low rec room tripping low low quality rooms I&#39;m pretty sure you all have seen it there are so many low quality rooms right now and I feel like it has something to do because contest AR there anymore cuz contests were a good way to like show off your room and make some tokens right but they are not a thing anymore so now players are trying to make lowquality rooms and they kind of try to spam it and all that kind of stuff and hopes to make more tokens and more money and I feel like the thing that is even worse about it that it often gets featured on the new or hot tab so apparently they have a fix for the new tab or at least they&#39;re doing something about it but I feel like it&#39;s a big issue for the hot tab I feel like if a room is qualified for the Hot Tab because you know many players are joining it many players are cheering it and all that kind of stuff uh I feel like it should always be moderated first before it gets WID listed for the Hot Tab cuz the Hot Tab is probably the most watched tab it&#39;s a big risk to just put a room in the Hot Tab and then at the end it&#39;s like a inappropriate room or something that shouldn&#39;t be there it should be moderated first you know and then decide if it should be Wireless for the hot same thing goes also to shirts it&#39;s still a thing that sometimes inappropriate shirts are being in the trending Community shirts if some is getting pretty popular right now and qualifies for the trendy tab or the Hot Tab it should be moderated first before it gets even there cuz it&#39;s a tab where most players are going to see it you know next Point future invention do is not being updated the good old days it has been such a long time where we we have featured venance and D skins and also the venance tower I forgot to mention that but um the program has just been stopped uh for unknown reasons at least I haven&#39;t heard about the reasons um I&#39;m just going to guess it is a lot of work and I do kind of see it but I feel like except of just completely stopping it maybe do it monthly instead of every week if you don&#39;t know I was a avention maker I made uh lots of inventions I got often featured on the uh featured invention Tab and I make quite a few tokens uh that I was able to basically cash out every single month it was pretty cool it was pretty nice um and I feel like it was a good way to you know show off work of other creators you know um to get the names out there and also the inventions and also earn some tokens but they stop with the feature Dom skins and feature inventions and also invention Tower I think the bigger problem is not them stopping the program the bigger problem is just to leave the tab there and leaving the last featured inent itions Dom skins and also in the invention to the last theme they have left those inventions there for years now and those craters are just going to make more tokens more tokens more tokens of doing nothing I don&#39;t have anything against those craters they are not doing anything wrong it&#39;s just the team itself for stopping the program and not even removing the tabs they just left it there because it probably makes tokens it probably makes money maybe it doesn&#39;t even but like uh those crators are just going to earn more tokens though entire time without really doing anything it&#39;s really for players who constantly making new stuff trying to you know spread the name spread their work you know show off their stuff fure invention and Dom skin tab is there but like it doesn&#39;t get updated next Point room rewards room worlds is so terrible guys I&#39;m going to tell you uh I don&#39;t know exactly how it was in the past um but it it was pretty much easy before the players were even able to just stay AFK and make bunch of tokens and I do see why can change that so basically if you don&#39;t know uh to make tokens you have to get bunch of players all right bunch of players to spend at least 120 Minutes that&#39;s 2 hours for every individual player exactly it doesn&#39;t count as the whole play time it doesn&#39;t count on how many players have spent a specific amount of time right it depends on individual players meaning you can have a million players but if everyone is just going to say like 10 minutes it doesn&#39;t do anything you won&#39;t get room rewards but let&#39;s say you get like 500 players but everyone is staying for 2 hours then you&#39;ll be uh eligible for the room rewards and I feel like this is a really dumb system it is it is a dumb system there&#39;s also the Commerce category and basically what it does is how how many tokens have been spent in your room right and this is also St stupid cuz it&#39;s also 2,500 tokens for individual players meaning this individual player has to spend 2,500 tokens in your room and it got to be at least like 500 players until you are eligible for the room rewards for room 2.0 you can already get room rewards for low amount of um players doing those kind of stuff you know uh spending 2 hours or spending 2,500 tokens but again the room rewards system is still terrible right now level system being pointless everyone who&#39;s active is probably already at level 50 and other than that it&#39;s just pointless you get a few boxes that&#39;s cool you you get rewards for um reaching a level but it caps a level 50 and in general the level system doesn&#39;t make any sense I&#39;m going to be honest giving out rewards for spending specific amount of times in rec room could be a thing but not a level system I feel like one thing I I did mention via before but I feel like one thing that via does better than recro is having a uh trusted level that fits much much more into a social game than a goofy game level system that doesn&#39;t even do anything just shows off that you have spent lots of time in this game I guess but in a unnecessary way what Viet does is they got the um visitor new user user known user and trusted user Rank and I feel like Reon could do something similar or at least change the level system somehow but just being stuck at level 50 is stupid the code also just increase the level cap again I do feel like the level system is pointless or at least should be different somehow and now it&#39;s also very confusing if you go into like a room that has their own level system it&#39;s like they got their own level system you know hi my name is Amna I&#39;m Arab R tuber I would like to talk about the current issue with the current level system in rec room which the maximum level cap to 50 uh actually it may cause lack of motivation I mean player may feel demotivated once they reach the current level cap and also limited progression a finite level cap restricts long-term engagement and the sense of achievement and I really hope one day they make it an endless progression which is allowing player to continue leveling up indefinitely so question is why re room should increase level cap more than 15 it&#39;s because leveling system in R room serves to motivate players to engage more deeply with the game explore different activities and interact with other while earning rewards along the way so increasing the level cap can rejuvenate a player interest and long-term goals it will help more Dynamic and motivating experience for all players in rec room so if you have any points or comment about it you can write it down in comments so hope Rec will consider it and Y let&#39;s go to the next one Rec updates equals bucks what I&#39;m saying with this is every single time a rec room brings out an update there&#39;s another bug and I know this is a normal thing for games that there are new bugs every single update but one thing that rec room sticks out with the updates is that most updates are just gamebreaking and I feel like recom is just bringing out too many updates they shouldn&#39;t bring out every single week a new update that brings out five new bucks that completely breaks the game and fun for others I feel like they should maybe make it like every single month and have enough time to like test those updates you know so they can prevent more bucks to come out you know and not making the game unplayable for others the updates that ream is shipping out are not being tested well enough this should be completely changed please test your updates oh my God one thing I want to address is rooms 2.0 I know that recm really wants to like give off this idea that rooms 2.0 is something that is the new Innovative way to create rooms however it&#39;s definitely not the reason why is because it completely breaks rooms and there&#39;s been nothing but bug reports and many different things that obviously give the impression the rooms 2.0 isn&#39;t actually something that we should rely on yet on top of that room rewards right room rewards is relying on rooms 2.0 I don&#39;t think this should have been done either and then going on for like onwards from that limits V2 limits V2 being removed that was the worst Choice recm could have ever have done I know that when we go to the event V page and we go join militaries that they have in like limits V2 rooms that like really laggy and completely out of like proportion when it comes to Ink don&#39;t get me wrong we all hate them but like that was still a really bad idea but my biggest complaint will be rooms 2.0 out of any single thing on this game it will be rooms 2.0 remove rooms 2.0 remove rooms 2.0
