    3. Select the principal (e.g., breitek for admin) and provide full control.
    4. Add another user (e.g., sally) with limited permissions:
      • Read and execute permissions.
      • No write permissions.
    5. Confirm changes by clicking Apply and then OK.

Checking Permissions

  • Right-click on the invoice folder, go to Properties, then Security to view user permissions.

Testing User Access

Sally's Access

  • Log into Sally's account:
    • She can read files but cannot edit or delete them.
    • Attempts to modify will prompt for admin permissions.

Jim's Access

  • Log into Jim's account:
    • Can see the contents but cannot open or edit files due to lack of permissions.

Updating Permissions

  • As an administrator, you can change permissions for users:
